The process of Supervision and its application to nursing was studied through the seminar method. It was the purpose of this study to provide opportunity for the students of the Pos-Graduated Course in Public Health for Nurses, to participate actively both in the study of supervision process as in the organization and development of the seminar method. The groups discussion were based upon analysis of the real situation and problems of supervision presented by the participants. The group felt that this type of group work is of real value but in order to have a more efficient result in the public health field work, it would be best with the participation of a multidisciplinary group. The positive results attained in this study were due greatly to the participation of experts in supervision.
