The necessity of Medical Schools to dispose of a "Communitary School" is stressed. Some aspects of an agreement between School of Medicine and the Department of Health of São Paulo (Brazil) are commented. The bases of a joint operation of a Health Center, having the purpose of teaching, scientific research in public health field, personel trainning and developing communitary programs, are established. The necessity of "Special Units" - like Health Center, Hospital, Teaching - to be integrated with sanitary organs and to participate of the activities of the Department of Health of S. Paulo (Brazil) programs which give standard orientation, is emphasized. The organization and the activities developed by the Sanitary Unit, are related.
