O trajeto das artérias coronárias foi estudado no cervo-do-pantanal para comparação com os ruminantes domésticos. A artéria coronária esquerda se origina na aorta, na superfície auricular cardíaca e divide-se em ramos paraconal e circunflexo, os quais preenchem o sulco paraconal interventricular e sulco subsinuoso, respectivamente; esta artéria também origina um ramo para o conus arteriosus imediatamente antes de entrar no miocárdio. A artéria coronária direita surge da aorta, na borda cranial cardíaca e termina nesta borda, próximo ao sulco subsinuoso interventricular, entretanto, sem preenche-lo.

The course of the coronary arteries was studied in marsh deers for comparison with domestic ruminants. The left coronary artery is originated from the aorta in the cardiac auricular surface and divides into paraconal and circumflex branches, which fit the paraconal interventricular sulcus and the subsinuous sulcus, respectively; this artery also gives off a branch to the conus arteriosus just before penetrating the myocardium. The right coronary artery arises from the aorta, in the heart cranial border and ends in this border, close to the subsinuous interventricular sulcus, perhaps without fitting it.

Foram estabelecidos segmentos anatomocirúrgicos em pulmões de ovinos da raça Ideal (dezessete segmentos no pulmão direito e doze no esquerdo), mediante dissecação de peças coradas com látex colorido e fixadas em formol. Na maioria dos casos, a artéria pulmonar direita emite, a partir de um tronco, o ramo ascendente e descendente para as partes cranial e caudal do lobo cranial respectivamente; o ramo do lobo médio; o ramo do lobo caudal e o ramo do lobo acessório. Invariavelmente, a artéria pulmonar esquerda emite o ramo do lobo cranial e o ramo do lobo caudal.

Anatomicosurgical segments were established in ovine lungs of the ideal breed (seventeen segments in the right lung and twelve in the left lung), through dissection of pieces injected with colored latex and set in formalin solution. In most of the cases, the right pulmonary lung emits, starting from a trunk, the ascendant and the descendant branches to the cranial and caudal portion of the cranial lobe, respectively; the middle lobe branch; the caudal lobe branch and the accessory lobe branch. Invariably, the left pulmonary artery emits the cranial lobe branch and the caudal lobe branch.

A descrição macroscópica do fígado do Cervo do Pantanal foi realizada com ênfase à forma, localização, meios de fixação, disposição e lobação. Foram utilizados os órgãos de animais provenientes do "Projeto Cervo do Pantanal de Porto Primavera", que morreram no período de quarentena, mediante inspeção visual e posterior dissecação. Foi constatado que o fígado do Cervo do Pantanal localiza-se na porção cranial da cavidade abdominal, à direita do plano mediano, possui coloração castanho-avermelhado e apresenta duas faces, quatro bordas, quatro lobos e cinco ligamentos. A principal característica que o difere dos fígados dos outros ruminantes é a ausência de vesícula biliar.

The macroscopic description of the liver of the Marsh Deer was performed for comparison with other ruminant species' liver, giving emphasis to the form, location, setting agents, disposition and lobation. AnimaIs from the "Marsh Deer Project' held in Porto Primavera (São Paulo, Brazil) were used, after their deaths during the quarantine period. The morphology of the liver was given by visual analysis and further dissection. It was verified that the liver of the Marsh Deer is located in the cranial portion of the abdominal cavity in the right side, presenting a brow-reddish color and two surfaces, four borders, four lobes and five ligaments. The main characteristic that differs the liver of the Marsh Deer from the other ruminant livers is the absence of gallbladder.

Objetivou-se neste estudo verificar radiográfica e morfologicamente a existência de comunicação entre a bolsa do osso navicular (BN) e a articulação interfalangeana distal (AID), estabelecendo sua freqüência, sua forma e identificação das estruturas anatômicas envolvidas no processo. Para tanto, foram utilizados membros torácicos e pélvicos de 16 animais vivos, sendo 8 animais jovens e 8 animais adultos. Contraste iodado era injetado na BN dos membros direitos e na AID dos membros esquerdos. Em seguida, realizavam-se radiografias em projeções látero-medial ou médio-lateral, dorsopalmar ou dorsoplantar, para a constatação de possível comunicação entre as estruturas em questão, que, posteriormente, seriam identificadas por meio da técnica de dissecação. Não foram observadas comunicações entre as estruturas em questão ou qualquer outra na porção distal dos membros, porém, em dois membros torácicos, constataram-se variações morfológicas nas extremidades laterais da BN, caracterizadas por projeções que se estendiam até o terço proximal da falange média, sendo mais pronunciada na face lateral que na medial.

It was aimed in this study to verify radiographically and morphologically the communication existence between the bursa of the bone navicular (BN) and the distal interphalangeal joint (AID), establishing its frequency, its form and identifying the anatomical structures involved in the process. For so much, thoracic and pelvic members of 16 alive animals were used, being 8 young animals and 8 adult animals. Iodized contrast was injected in BN of the right members and in AID of the left members; soon afterwards it was obtained x-rays in projections lateromedial or middlelateral, dorsopalmar or dorsoplantar, for the verification of possible communication between the structures in subject that, together with the involved places, they would be identified through the dissection technique later. Communications were not observed among the structures in subject, however, in two thoracic members, morphologic variations were verified in the lateral extremities of BN, characterized by projections that extended until the third proximal of the medium phalange, being more pronounced in the lateral face than in the medial.

Objetivou-se neste estudo verificar anatômica e radiograficamente a existência de comunicação entre a bolsa do osso navicular (BN) e a articulação interfalangeana distal (AID), estabelecendo sua freqüência e forma e identificando as estruturas anatômicas envolvidas no processo. Desta forma, foram utilizadas 140 peças anatômicas de membros torácicos e pélvicos de eqüinos. Com o auxílio de fluoroscópio, foi injetada uma mistura de contraste iodado, Neoprene látex e corante na BN dos membros direito e na AID dos membros esquerdos, com subseqüentes exposições radiográficas. Constatadas comunicações, identificavam-se as estruturas e os locais envolvidos, mediante técnica de dissecação. Verificou-se, em duas observações, comunicação entre a BN e a AID, após injeção de contraste iodado, látex e corante na bolsa do osso navicular, sendo um no membro torácico direito (MTD) e outro no membro pélvico direito (MPD). Comunicação entre a AID e a bainha do tendão do músculo flexor profundo do dedo (BTMFPD) ocorreu em uma peça, pertencente ao membro torácico esquerdo (MTE). Comunicação entre a BN e a BTMFPD foi observada na peça de um membro torácico direito. Variações morfológicas nas extremidades laterais da BN, constituindo projeções que se estendiam até o terço proximal da falange média, sendo mais pronunciada na face lateral do que na medial, ocorreram em cinco membros. Mediante a administração de contraste iodado, látex e corante na AID, nenhuma comunicação foi observada entre a AID e a BN.

It was aimed in this study to verify anatomically and radiographically the communication existence between the bursa of the bone navicular (BN) and the distal interphalangeal joint (AID), establishing its frequency, and form and identifying the anatomical structures involved in the process. In this way, 140 anatomical pieces of thoracic and pelvic equines members were used; with the fluoroscope aid, a mixture of iodized contrast, Neoprene latex was injected and coloring in the BN of the right members and in the AID of the left members, with subsequent radiographic expositions. Verified communications, the structures and the involved places, are identified by dissection technique. It was verified, in two observations, communication between BN and AID, after injection of iodized contrast, latex and coloring in the bag of the bone navicular, being one in the right thoracic member (MTD) and the other in the right pelvic member (MPD). Communication between AID and the hem of the tendon of the deep flexor muscle of the finger (BTMFPD) happened in a piece, belonging to the left thoracic member (MTE). Communication between BN and BTMFPD was observed in the piece of a right thoracic member. Morphologic variations in the lateral extremities of BN, constituting projections that extended until the third proximal of the medium phalange, being more pronounced in the lateral face than in the medial, happened in five members. By the administration of iodized contrast, latex and coloring ink in AID, no communication was observed between AID and BN.

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi estabelecer os segmentos anátomo-cirúrgicos arteriais, através da lobação e ramificação intralobar arterial, em pulmões de gato. Após a dissecção de vinte pulmões, notou-se que a artéria pulmonar direita geralmente emite um ramo para o lobo cranial e um ramo para o lobo médio, sendo originados juntos em um tronco. Um grande ramo irriga o lobo caudal na maioria dos casos. Dois ramos com origem comum no ramo arterial do lobo caudal irrigam o lobo acessório. A artéria pulmonar esquerda origina um tronco que, na maioria dos casos, emite um ramo para a porção cranial e um ramo para a porção caudal do lobo cranial esquerdo. Pode-se concluir que o pulmão direito é formado por quatro e o esquerdo por dois lobos, ocorrendo variações na ramificação arterial pulmonar.

The aim of this research was to establish the anatomicosurgical segments through lobation and arterial intralobar branching in cats lungs. After dissection of twenty lungs, it was noted that the right pulmonary artery, usually, emits a branch to the cranial lobe and a branch to the middle lobe, arising together from a trunk. A large branch irrigates the caudal lobe in most of the cases. Two branches arising in common origin from the caudal lobe branch irrigate the accessory lobe. The left pulmonary artery originates a trunk that, in most of the cases, emits a branch to the cranial and a branch to the caudal part of the left cranial lobe. It can be concluded that the right lung is formed by four and the left by two lobes, and variations occur in the pulmonary arterial branching.

Os bloqueios anestésicos são importantes no diagnóstico de claudicação em eqüinos, e também uma alternativa viável para anestesias em uma variedade de procedimentos. Com o objetivo de avaliar a existência ou não de comunicação entre a bursa sinovial do osso navicular e a articulação interfalangeana distal, foram utilizados 9 cavalos mestiços, nos quais foi administrado 3ml de lipoidol 50% na bursa sinovial do osso navicular. Em 33% dos casos observou-se contraste na região dorsal da articulação interfalangeana distal após administração deste na bursa sinovial do osso navicular, o que sinaliza esta comunicação, sendo que a mesma ocorreu apenas nos animais adultos.

The anaesthesic blocks are important in the diagnose of lameness in equines, and an alternative to anaesthesias in several procedures. In this experiment, nine crossbred equines were utilized. It was given 3ml lipoidol 50% in the navicular bone synovial bursa in all animals, with the purpose of evaluating the existence of communication between the navicular bone synovial bursa and distal interphalangeal joint. In 33,3% of the cases it was observed contrast in the dorsal region of the distal interphalangeal joint after its administration in the synovial bursa of the navicular bone. The communication occured only in the adult animals.

Foram utilizados membros torácicos de 20 cavalos adultos de raça mestiça, provenientes do matadouro de equinos de Campo Belo - MG. Os nervos palmares medial e lateral, digitais palmares medial e lateral, e o ramo dorsal do nervo digital palmar (medial e lateral) foram dissecados para observação da freqüência de suas posições e ramificações acessórias. Os resultados demonstraram que o local de bifurcação do nervo palmar em ramo digital palmar e seu ramo dorsal, ocorreu com maior frequência na região proximal da articulação metacarpofalangeana tanto no membro torácico direito como no esquerdo e em ambas as faces medial e lateral. Foram constatados 5 tipos de padrões de divisão do nervo palmar, sendo o tipo 1 o predominante.

In these experiment were utilized 20 adult equine forelimbs, crossbred, collected in an equine abbatoir in Campo Belo, MG. Both lateral and medial palmar nerves, lateral and medial palmar digital nerves and lateral and medial dorsal branch of the palmar digital nerve were dissected to observe the frequency of their positions and accessory ramifications. The results showed that the sile of bifurcation of the palmar nerve into palmar digital branch and its dorsal branch, occurred most frequently in the proximal region of the metacarpofalangeal joint, both at the right and left forelimbs in their medial and lateral faces. Five types of standards of divisions of the palmar nerve into palmar digital branch and its dorsal branch with predominance of the type one were observed.
