RESUMO: O tumor venéreo transmissível canino (TVTC) é uma neoplasia transmissível de elevada casuística no Brasil. A quimioterapia com sulfato de vincristina é considerada o tratamento de escolha, mas a necessidade de aplicações semanais e acompanhamento hematológico, além dos custos, são obstáculos à adesão dos proprietários ao tratamento. A lomustina é um antineoplásico da classe dos agentes alquilantes e, por ser administrado por via oral, representa um opção de tratamento mais prática e menos onerosa para os proprietários de animais com neoplasias. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a eficácia terapêutica da lomustina em cães acometidos por TVTC. Foram selecionados 12 cães com diagnóstico citopatológico de TVTC genital de ocorrência natural. Os cães foram submetidos ao protocolo experimental com administração de lomustina nas doses de 70 a 85 mg/m2 por via oral a cada 21 dias, totalizando no máximo dois ciclos de administração. Os animais foram reavaliados a cada sete dias até um máximo de +49 dias após a primeira dose de lomustina, para monitorar a regressão das lesões neoplásicas por meio de mensuração das lesões. Entre os 12 cães submetidos ao protocolo, 8/12 obtiveram remissão completa da neoplasia e foram considerados curados (66,6%), 1/12 tiveram resposta parcial ao tratamento (8,33%) e 3/12 tiveram doença estável (25%). Efeitos adversos importantes, como leucopenia neutrofílica grave, foram detectados em 3/12 cães (25%). O estudo clínico indicou que a lomustina pode ser uma opção de tratamento para TVTC.

ABSTRACT: Canine transmissible venereal tumor (TVTC) is a highly casuistic transmissible neoplasm in Brazil. Chemotherapy with vincristine sulfate is considered the treatment of choice, but the need for weekly applications and hematological monitoring, in addition to costs, are obstacles to owners’ adhesion to the treatment. Lomustine is an alkylating class antineoplastic agent, and because it is administered orally, it is a more practical and less costly treatment option for the owners of animals with neoplasms sensitive to the drug. This study evaluated the therapeutic efficacy of lomustine in dogs affected by TVTC. Twelve dogs with cytopathological diagnosis of natural genital TVTC were selected. The dogs were submitted to the experimental protocol with lomustine administration at doses of 70 to 85 mg/m2 orally every 21 days, totaling a maximum of two administration cycles. The animals were reevaluated every 7 days until a maximum of +49 days after the first dose of lomustine, to monitor the regression of neoplastic lesions through measurements. Among the 12 dogs submitted to the lomustine protocol, 8/12 achieved complete remission of the neoplasm and were considered cured (66.6%), 1/12 had partial response to treatment (8.33%) and 3/12 had stable disease (25%). Important adverse effects such as severe neutrophilic leukopenia were detected in 3/12 dogs (25%). The clinical study indicated that lomustine may be a treatment option for TVTC.

Abstract Mites of the species Lynxacarus radovskyi, which are commonly found on domestic cats in Brazil, can cause discomfort, itching, and alopecia. The development of new, safer and more effective treatments with a broad spectrum of activity, including the use of isoxazolines, is needed. The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy of transdermal fluralaner in domestic cats naturally infested with L. radovskyi. Twenty cats were evaluated by trichograms and divided into two groups of 10 animals. The control group was not treated, while the treated group was given a single topical dose of fluralaner, as per the manufacturer’s instructions. The cats were reassessed for the presence of L. radovskyi eggs and mites on days D+7, D+14, D+28, D+42, D+56, D+70, D+84, and D+98. As of D+42, all the animals (100%) tested negative for mites, and remained parasite-free until the end of the study, while the control group tested positive throughout the experiment. It can be concluded that a single dose of fluralaner applied topically was effective in treating cats naturally infested with L. radovskyi.

Resumo Os ácaros da espécie Lynxacarus radovskyi, comumente encontrados em gatos domésticos, no Brasil, podem causar desconforto, prurido e alopecia. É necessário o desenvolvimento de novos tratamentos mais seguros e eficazes com amplo espectro de ação, incluindo o uso de isoxazolinas. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a eficácia do fluralaner transdérmico em gatos domésticos naturalmente infestados com L. radovskyi. Vinte gatos foram avaliados por tricogramas e divididos em dois grupos de 10 animais. O grupo controle não foi tratado, enquanto o grupo tratado recebeu uma única dose tópica de fluralaner, conforme instruções do fabricante. Os gatos foram reavaliados quanto à presença de ovos e ácaros de L. radovskyi nos dias D+7, D+14, D+28, D+42, D+56, D+70, D+84 e D+98. A partir de D+42, todos os animais (100%) testaram negativo para ácaros e permaneceram livres do parasita até o final do estudo, enquanto o grupo controle apresentou resultado positivo durante todo o experimento. Pode-se concluir que uma única dose de fluralaner aplicada topicamente foi eficaz no tratamento de gatos naturalmente infestados com L. radovskyi.

Abstract Background The prevalence of HLA-B27 gene positivity in healthy Caucasian communities varies between 8 and 14%. However, there is a lack of information in countries with a high rate of miscegenation, such as Brazil. Aim To estimate the frequency of HLA-B27 in the Brazilian general population using a large national registry database. Methods This is a cross-sectional ecological study using the Brazilian Registry of Volunteer Bone Marrow Donors (REDOME) database on HLA-B27 allelic frequency and proportion of positives of healthy donors (18–60 years old). Data were analyzed according to sex, age, race (by self-reported skin color recommended by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE), and geographic region of residence. Results From 1994 to 2022, a total of 5,389,143 healthy bone marrow donors were included. The overall positivity for HLA-B27 was 4.35% (CI 95% 4.32–4.37%), regardless of sex and age (57.2% were women, mean age was 41.7yo). However, there was a difference between races: 4.85% in Whites; 2.92% in Blacks; 3.76% in Pardos (Browns i.e. mixed races); 3.95% in Amarelos (Yellows i.e. Asian Brazilians); and 3.18% in Indigenous. There was also a difference regarding geographic region of residence (North: 3.62%; Northeast: 3.63%; Southeast: 4.29%; Midwest: 4.5% and 5.25% in South). The homozygosity rate for the HLA-B27 was 1.32% of all the positives and only 0.06% in the general population. Conclusions Our findings provide the first Brazilian national prevalence for HLA-B27 in 4.35%. There is a gradient gene positivity from North to South, suggesting that the genetic background related to the miscegenation due to colonization, slavery, and some later waves of immigration together with internal migratory flows, could explain our findings.

Abstract Objectives: Considering the need for intraoral polishing of zirconia restorations, this in vitro study aimed to 1) evaluate the 2D and 3D surface roughness of different types of ceramic after their finishing and polishing and 2) compare three polishing techniques using three different polishing kits. Methods: Seventy-two specimens were obtained from two types of 3Y-TZP zirconia. After sintering, a layer of a glass-based fluorapatite veneering ceramic was applied over 24 specimens of one of the zirconia ceramics. Thus, three ceramic surfaces were set: Prettau Anterior, Prettau Zirconia, and IPS e.max Ceram. The specimens were polished with a universal or specific polishing kit (n=12). After polishing, the specimens were analyzed using white-light interferometry. Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests were used (α=0.05). Results: The polishing kit used did not significantly (p=0.514) affect the surface roughness of Prettau Anterior. Regarding Prettau Zirconia, the zirconia-specific polishing kit allowed a higher Sa and Ra than the universal kit (p=0.004 and p<0.001). Regarding glass-based ceramic, the specific kit led to a higher Ra (p<0.001), but no significant results were found in 3D. Conclusions: The universal polishing set showed the best results for Prettau Zirconia and glass-based ceramic, but no differences were found for Prettau Anterior.

Resumo Objetivos: Considerando a importância do polimento intraoral de restaurações de zircónia, este estudo in vitro teve como objetivos: 1) avaliar a rugosidade de superfície a 2 e 3 dimensões de diferentes tipos de cerâmica após o seu acabamento e polimento; e 2) comparar três técnicas de polimento usando três kits de polimento diferentes. Métodos: Foram obtidos setenta e dois espécimes de dois tipos de zircónia 3Y-TZP. Após a sinterização, foi aplicada uma camada de cerâmica feldspática sobre 24 espécimes de uma das cerâmicas de zircónia. Assim, foram avaliadas três superfícies cerâmicas: Prettau Anterior, Prettau Zirconia e IPS e.max Ceram. Os espécimes foram polidos com um kit de polimento universal ou específico (n=12). Após o polimento, os espécimes foram analisados por interferometria de luz branca. Foram utilizados os testes de Kruskal-Wallis e Mann-Whitney U (α=0,05). Resultados: O kit de polimento utilizado não afetou significativamente (p=0,514) a rugosidade de superfície da Prettau Anterior. Quanto à Prettau Zirconia, o kit de polimento específico para zircónia apresentou valores de Sa e Ra mais elevados do que o kit universal (p=0,004 e p<0,001). Relativamente à cerâmica feldspática, o kit específico apresentou um Ra mais elevado (p<0,001), mas sem diferenças significativas encontradas em 3D. Conclusões: O kit de polimento universal apresentou os melhores resultados para a Prettau Zirconia e para a cerâmica feldspática, mas não foram detetadas diferenças para a Prettau Anterior.

RESUMO As vazões máximas são frequentemente estimadas a partir de análises de frequência de inundação, por meio de ajustes estatísticos de uma distribuição teórica de probabilidades aos dados de vazões máximas anuais. Entretanto, em razão das limitações impostas pela prática da medição da vazão in loco, são aplicados modelos empíricos como a curva chave para estimar vazão. Essas curvas são aproximações das vazões reais e incorporam diferentes fontes de incertezas, em especial nas porções de extrapolação. Tais incertezas são propagadas nas análises de frequência e influenciam nos quantis estimados. Para melhor compreender e descrever a influência das incertezas da cota-descarga neste processo, foi combinado os resultados da modelagem Bayesiana da curva chave, que considera o conhecimento físico da estação de medição como conhecimento a priori, com a análise de frequência Bayesiana de inundação sob a teoria assintótica de valores extremos. O método foi aplicado na estação de fluviométrica de Acorizal, localizada no interior do estado de Mato Grosso – BR. Os principais resultados sugeriram que, embora as incertezas da curva chave possam ser relevantes na estimativa de quantis de vazões máximas, as incertezas decorrentes de séries históricas amostrais podem exercer maiores impactos nos intervalos de credibilidade da vazão mesmo para tamanhos de amostras moderadas.

ABSTRACT Maximum flows are often estimated from flood frequency analysis, by means of the statistical fitting of a theoretical probability distribution to maximum annual flow data. However, because of the limitations imposed by the practice of at-site flow measurement, empirical models are applied as the rating curve for estimating streamflow. These curves are approximations of the actual flows and incorporate different sources of uncertainty, especially in the extrapolation portions. These uncertainties are propagated in the frequency analysis and influence the estimated quantiles. For better understanding and describing the influence of the stage-discharge uncertainty in this process, the results of Bayesian rating curve modeling, which considers the physical knowledge of the gauging station as prior information, were combined with Bayesian flood frequency analysis under asymptotic extreme value theory. The method was applied to the Acorizal stream gauging station, located in the interior of the state of Mato Grosso - BR. The main results suggested that, although the uncertainties of the rating curve can be relevant in the estimation of maximum flow quantiles, the uncertainties arising from finite-sample inference might exert greater impacts on the flow credibility intervals even for moderate sample sizes.

Resumo O tumor venéreo transmissível canino (TVTC) é uma neoplasia transmitida principalmente através da cópula, com elevada incidência em cães errantes no Brasil. No processo de evolução tumoral do TVTC, são reconhecidas as fases de progressão, estacionária e de regressão. O estado imunológico do hospedeiro está relacionado ao comportamento biológico da doença, contudo, a observação de regressão espontânea em casos de TVTC de ocorrência natural é incomum. Foi atendida uma paciente canina, resgatada da rua, por apresentar massa ulcerada na genitália externa e infestação por carrapatos. Foram realizados exame citopatológico, que diagnosticou TVTC, e exames laboratoriais que evidenciaram anemia discreta e grave trombocitopenia. Com isso e diante da impossibilidade de realizar outros exames, foi também estabelecido o diagnóstico presuntivo de erlichiose monocítica canina (EMC) e instituído tratamento para a hemoparasitose. Durante o acompanhamento, foi observada rápida melhora dos sinais clínicos e das alterações laboratoriais, bem como a redução espontânea da massa tumoral. Em sequência, foi realizada nova avaliação citopatológica do TVTC e verificado o aumento quantitativo de linfócitos maduros e plasmócitos, em meio as células tumorais, achado compatível com a fase estacionária da doença. A partir desse momento, optou-se por realizar apenas acompanhamento clínico e avaliação citopatológica da neoplasia. Foram observados contínua remissão clínica e achados microscópicos compatíveis com a fase de regressão do tumor, até sua remissão completa. Pondera-se que a melhora na saúde geral da paciente após o tratamento da EMC esteja relacionada à regressão espontânea do TVTC, e que realização simultânea de exames clínico e citopatológico seriados pode ser viável e útil ao acompanhamento das fases de evolução do TVTC.

Abstract The canine transmissible venereal tumor (TVTC) is a neoplasm transmitted mainly through copulation and with a high incidence in stray dogs in Brazil. In the process of tumor evolution of TVTC, the progression, stationary and regression phases are recognized. The host immunity is related to the disease’s biological behavior, however, spontaneous regression observation in cases of naturally occurring TVTC is uncommon. A canine patient was attended, after beeing rescued from the street, due to an ulcerated mass in the external genitália and tick infestation. Cytopathological examination, which diagnosed TVTC, and laboratory tests that showed mild anemia and severe thrombocytopenia were performed. In view of the impossibility of carrying out other exams, it was made the presumptive diagnosis of canine monocytic ehrlichiosis (CME), and treatment was instituted. During follow-up it was observed quick improvement in clinical signs and laboratory changes, as well as a reduction in tumor mass. A new cytopathological evaluation was carried out, and was verified increase in mature lymphocytes and plasmocytes in the midst of the tumor cells, finding compatible with the stationary phase of the disease. From that moment on, it was decided to perform only clinical and cytopathological follow-up. In the following evaluations, continuous clinical remission and cytopathological findings compatible with those described in the regression phase were observed, until its complete remission. It is considered that the improvement in the general health of the patient after the treatment of CME is related to the spontaneous regression of TVTC, and that simultaneous performance of serial clinical and cytopathological exams may be feasible and useful for monitoring the stages of evolution of TVTC.

ABSTRACT Objective to describe the process corresponding to the design, prototyping and co-implementation of a care-educational app prototype for vulnerable people with heart failure, their family members/caregivers and the health team. Method a methodological study with five phases: Construct, Design, Prototyping, Co-implementation and Adaptation, all performed from September 2020 to July 2021. The Codesign team involved 72 actors (15 patients with HF, 19 family members/caregivers, 35 health professionals, two researchers and a designer and developer), who contributed with linguistic and visual data. Results the InCare® prototype was produced, represented by the flowchart corresponding to the user's interaction and structural sketches. Colors were defined to compose the screens and the prototype resources were chosen, outlining the description, proposal and functional requirements. The app involved relevant themes (definition of the disease and vulnerability, etiology, classification, signs and symptoms, daily care measures and palliative approaches, treatments, diet, physical activity and support networks, benefits) and gathered functionalities according to the team's needs and preferences, being considered innovative and encouraging for self-care. Conclusion codesign allowed designing resources, contents, screen sketches, user flow, prototyping and prototype name, in a creative and participatory process to promote the health of people with heart failure in vulnerable health situations.

RESUMEN Objetivo describir el proceso de diseño, prototipación y co-implementación del prototipo de una app de cuidados e instructiva para personas con insuficiencia cardíaca en situación de vulnerabilidad, sus familiares/cuidadores y el equipo de salud. Método estudio metodológico con cinco fases: Constructo; Diseño; Prototipación; Co-implementación y Adaptación, realizadas entre septiembre de 2020 y julio de 2021. El equipo Codesign estuvo compuesto por 72 actores (15 pacientes con IC, 19 familiares/cuidadores, 35 profesionales de la salud, dos investigadores y un diseñador y desarrollador), que contribuyeron con datos lingüísticos y visuales. Resultados se produjo el prototipo InCare®, representado por el diagrama de flujo de interacción del usuario y bosquejos estructurales. Se definieron colores para componer las pantallas y se eligieron recursos para el prototipo, incluyendo el diseño de la descripción, propuesta y requisitos funcionales. La app abarcó temáticas relevantes (definición de la enfermedad y vulnerabilidad, etiología, clasificación, señales y síntomas, cuidados diarios y enfoque paliativos, tratamientos, alimentación, actividad física y redes de apoyo, beneficios), además de agrupar funcionalidades conforme a las necesidades y preferencias del equipo, y fue considerada innovadora y como un incentivo para el autocuidado. Conclusión Codesign permitió diseñar los recursos, contenidos, bosquejos de pantallas, el flujo del usuario, la prototipación y el nombre del prototipo, por medio de un proceso creativo y participativo, para promover la salud de personas con insuficiencia cardíaca en situación de vulnerabilidad relacionada con la salud.

Método estudo metodológico, com cinco fases: Constructo; Ideação; Prototipagem; Co-implantação e Adequação, realizadas de setembro de 2020 a julho de 2021. A equipe do Codesign envolveu 72 atores (15 pacientes com IC, 19 familiares/cuidadores, 35 profissionais da saúde, dois pesquisadores e um designer e desenvolvedor), que contribuíram com dados linguísticos e visuais. Resultados foi produzido o protótipo InCare®, representado pelo fluxograma de interação do usuário e esboços estruturais. Foram definidas cores para composição das telas e escolhidos recursos do protótipo, com delineamento da descrição, proposta e requisitos funcionais. O aplicativo envolveu temáticas relevantes (definição da doença e vulnerabilidade, etiologia, classificação, sinais e sintomas, cuidados diários e abordagens paliativistas, tratamentos, alimentação, atividade física e redes de suporte, benefícios) e aglutinou funcionalidades conforme necessidades e preferências da equipe, sendo considerado inovador e um incentivo ao autocuidado. Conclusão O Codesign permitiu a ideação de recursos, conteúdos, esboços das telas, fluxo do usuário, prototipagem e nome do protótipo, em processo criativo e participativo, para promoção da saúde da pessoa com insuficiência cardíaca em situação de vulnerabilidade em saúde.

The recovery of precious and base metals of a metal concentrate from ground waste printed circuit boards (PCBs) is described in detail. Samples were treated with NaOHaq. to remove the soldering mask. Experiments were performed in acidic medium (HF, H2SO4, CH3COOH or H3PO4) using H2O2 as oxidant. Base metals were leached in high yields (>99 wt.%) at ~40 ºC after ~1 h (HF), ~2 h (H2SO4), ~4 h (H3PO4) and ~5 h (CH3COOH). Lead precipitated in the presence of H2SO4 and HF. Precious metals were not oxidized. Ceramic/fiberglass components were dissolved in the presence of HF. Silver, palladium and gold were recovered from the insoluble solid, in this order, by a sequential oxidative treatment in aqueous medium. Recovery of leached elements was possible by a combination of solvent extraction and precipitation. The choice of the extractant and the precipitant were essential to recover them with high yields. The leachates from H3PO4 + H2O2 experiments could not be processed above pH 2.5. Leaching of waste PCBs in the presence of a weak organic acid is possible but a multistage separation scheme for elements recovery is unavoidable as PCBs is a complex material in terms of composition.

OBJECTIVES: To retrospectively evaluate the performance and distinctive pattern of latent tuberculosis (TB) infection (LTBI) screening and treatment in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) under anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF) therapy and determine the relevance of re-exposure and other risk factors for TB development. METHODS: A total of 135 and 83 patients with AS and PsA, respectively, were evaluated for LTBI treatment before receiving anti-TNF drugs via the tuberculin skin test (TST), chest radiography, and TB exposure history assessment. All subjects were evaluated for TB infection at 3-month intervals. RESULTS: The patients with AS were more often treated for LTBI than were those with PsA (42% versus 30%, p=0.043). The former also presented a higher frequency of TST positivity (93% versus 64%, p=0.002), although they had a lower frequency of exposure history (18% versus 52%, p=0.027) and previous TB (0.7% versus 6%, p=0.03). During follow-up [median, 5.8 years; interquartile range (1QR), 2.2-9.0 years], 11/218 (5%) patients developed active TB (AS, n=7; PsA, n=4). TB re-exposure was the main cause in seven patients (64%) after 12 months of therapy (median, 21.9 months; IQR, 14.2-42.8 months) and five LTBI-negative patients. TB was identified within the first year in four patients (36.3%) (median, 5.3 months; IQR, 1.2-8.8 months), two of whom were LTBI-positive. There was no difference in the TB-free survival according to the anti-TNF drug type/class; neither synthetic drug nor prednisone use was related to TB occurrence (p>0.05). CONCLUSION: Known re-exposure is the most critical factor for incident TB cases in spondyloarthritis. There are also some distinct features in AS and PsA LTBI screening, considering the higher frequency of LTBI and TST positivities in patients with AS. Annual risk reassessment taking into consideration these peculiar features and including the TST should be recommended for patients in endemic countries.

Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o nitrogênio, o fósforo e o potássio liberados pela palha de pastagem de Urochloa brizantha adubadada com N, dessecada antes da semeadura da soja (Glycine max) em sucessão, no sistema plantio direto. A pastagem foi cultivada em três piquetes, cada um fertilizado com uma dose de N (0, 150 ou 300 kg ha-1), e avaliada em dois períodos de dessecação (60 ou 15 dias antes da semeadura da soja), com quatro repetições. A adubação nitrogenada na pastagem de U. brizantha aumenta a ciclagem de N e K e a liberação destes nutrientes à soja em sucessão. A quantidade de K liberada pela palha de U. brizantha adubada com 150 ou 300 kg ha-1 de N (aproximadamente 80 kg ha-1 de K) atende a exportação de até 4 Mg ha-1 de grãos de soja, ao se considerar a ausência de perdas de K no sistema. A dessecação antecipada de pastagem de U. brizantha não favorece o aproveitamento de K pela cultura da soja, já que 50% do nutriente é liberado nos 20 primeiros dias após a dessecação. A dinâmica de liberação de P pela palha de U. brizantha (de 6 a 10 kg ha-1 durante a cultura da soja) não é influenciada pela adubação nitrogenada e pela época de dessecação.

Abstract: The objective of this work was to determine the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium released by N-fertilized Urochloa brizantha straw, desiccated before sowing of no-tillage soybean (Glycine max) in succession. The pasture was grown in three paddocks, each fertilized with one N rate (0, 150, or 300 kg ha-1), and assessed at two desiccation periods (60 or 15 days before soybean sowing), in four replicates. Nitrogen fertilization of U. brizantha pasture increases N and K cycling and the release of these nutrients to the subsequent soybean crop. The quantity of K released by U. brizantha straw fertilized with 150 or 300 kg ha-1 N (about 80 kg ha-1 K) offsets that contained in an export of up to 4 Mg ha-1 soybean grains, assuming zero K losses in the system. An early desiccation of the U. brizantha pasture does not improve K uptake by the soybean crop, since 50% of the nutrient is released in the first 20 days after desiccation. The dynamics of P release from U. brizantha straw (about 6 to 10 kg ha-1 during the soybean crop) is not influenced by N fertilization and the time of pasture desiccation.

Abstract Spondyloarthritis is a group of chronic inflammatory systemic diseases characterized by axial and/or peripheral joints inflammation, as well as extra-articular manifestations. The classification axial spondyloarthritis is adopted when the spine and/or the sacroiliac joints are predominantly involved. This version of recommendations replaces the previous guidelines published in May 2013. A systematic literature review was performed, and two hundred thirty-seven studies were selected and used to formulate 29 recommendations answering 15 clinical questions, which were divided into four sections: diagnosis, non-pharmacological therapy, conventional drug therapy and biological therapy. For each recommendation the level of evidence supporting (highest available), the strength grade according to Oxford, and the degree of expert agreement (inter-rater reliability) is informed. These guidelines bring evidence-based information on clinical management of axial SpA patients, including, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.

ABSTRACT. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of alpha-amylase supplementation on performance and carcass and cuts yield in broilers during finishing phase (21 to 42 days). A completely randomized experimental design with six treatments and eight replications was used: Positive Control (PC): no enzyme; Negative control (NC): without enzyme formulated with 6.34% less energy (- 6.34% ME); NC1: with 250 g ton-1 of alpha-amylase; NC2: with 500 g ton-1 of alpha-amylase; NC3: with 750 g ton-1 of alpha-amylase; NC4: with 1000 g ton-1 of alpha-amylase. Significant differences in weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion were reported with the inclusion of alpha-amylase. The NC treatment with inclusion of amylase provided improvement values of weight gain, feed conversion and feed intake, but do not was similarly in comparison to those obtained in broilers fed a diet that completely met the requirements during this phase. There was no dietary influence on carcass parameters. The use of alpha-amylase was effective in improving performance in broilers fed a diet of 200 kcal kg-1 of reduced metabolizable energy.

Resumo: Perspectivando as práticas literárias no escopo das pedagogias culturais, o presente ensaio analisa os (contra)efeitos da voz pública dos escritores - de circulação sobretudo jornalística - como vetor de um controle difuso dos modos de escrita não literários, incluindo os escolares. Na companhia teórica de Michel Foucault, argumenta-se que a literatura, quando associada a um leitmotiv pedagógico, converte-se em um aparato veridictivo-subjetivador sustentado pela discursividade em torno dos escritores, acarretando um problema político no que tange à liberdade da escrita. Por fim, advoga-se em favor de um endereçamento desimpedido ao gesto escritural, capaz de desdobrá-lo em uma miríade de efetuações possíveis.

Abstract: Taking literary practices within the scope of cultural pedagogies, this essay analyzes the (counter)effects of the writers’ public voice - mainly of journalistic circulation - as a vector for diffuse control of non-literary modes of writing, including the educational ones. By a theoretical dialogue with Michel Foucault, it is argued that literature, when associated with a pedagogical leitmotiv, becomes a veridictive-subjectivating apparatus sustained by discursiveness around writers, causing a political problem regarding the freedom of writing. Finally, it advocates for an unimpeded addressing to the scriptural gesture, capable of unfolding it into a myriad of possible achievements.

RESUMO Introdução: A enfermagem tem se deparado com o desafio de romper com a dependência do modelo médico-centrado em busca de maior autonomia profissional. Discute-se a necessidade de ela apoiar-se em conhecimentos próprios para atender aos problemas de saúde-doença sob sua competência, utilizando metodologias apropriadas, como o processo de enfermagem e a sistematização da assistência. Objetivo: Identificar as contribuições do processo de enfermagem e da sistematização da assistência de enfermagem para a autonomia profissional do enfermeiro. Métodos: Revisão integrativa, em cinco etapas, de 10 artigos completos coletados na LILACS, SciELO e PubMed em julho de 2016 pela expressão “professional autonomy” AND “nursing care” OR “nursing process” OR “systematization of nursing care” AND NOT “patient autonomy”. Conclusões: O processo de enfermagem e a sistematização da assistência ao estabelecer uma prática apoiada em conhecimentos específicos da enfermagem, desconectando-a do atual modelo e definindo seu papel na produção de saúde e na dimensão social do cuidado, podem promover a autonomia do enfermeiro.

ABSTRACT Introduction: The nursing has been faced with the challenge of breaking with the dependence of the medical centered model on seeking greater professional autonomy. It is discussed the need for it to rely on its own knowledge to address the health-disease problems under its competence, using appropriate methodologies, such as the nursing process and the systematization of care. Objective: To identify the contributions of the nursing process and the systematization of nursing care for the nurses’ professional autonomy. Methods: Integrative review, in five steps, of 10 complete articles collected in LILACS, SciELO and PubMed in July 2016 by the expression [(“professional autonomy”) AND (“nursing care” OR “nursing process” OR “systematization of nursing care”) AND NOT (“patient autonomy”)]. Conclusions: The nursing process and the systematization of care in establishing a practice based on specific knowledge of nursing, disconnecting the current model and defining its role in the health production and on the social dimension of care, can promote the nurse’s autonomy.

RESUMEN Introducción: La enfermería ha enfrentado el desafío de romper la dependencia del modelo médico centrado en la búsqueda de una mayor autonomía profesional. Se discute la necesidad de basarse en sus propios conocimientos para hacer frente a los problemas de la salud y la enfermedad bajo su jurisdicción, utilizando metodologías apropiadas, tales como el proceso de enfermería y la sistematización de la atención. Objetivo: Identificar las contribuciones del proceso de enfermería y la sistematización de la atención de enfermería a la autonomía profesional de la enfermera. Métodos: Revisión integradora, en cinco pasos, de 10 artículos completos recogidos en LILACS, SciELO y PubMed en julio de 2016 por la expresión [(“professional autonomy”) AND (“nursing care” OR “nursing process” OR “systematization of nursing care”) AND NOT (“patient autonomy”)]. Conclusiones: El proceso de enfermería y la sistematización de la atención para establecer una práctica con el apoyo de un conocimiento específico de la enfermería, desconectando del modelo actual y definiendo su papel en la producción de salud y la dimensión social de la atención, puede promover la autonomía la enfermera.
