resumen La cognición social en la esquizofrenia actualmente es uno de los campos de mayor interés en los estudios de este trastorno. Se la conceptualiza comúnmente como el conjunto de operaciones mentales que subyacen a las interacciones sociales y que, por lo tanto, se relacionan con la capacidad para interpretar y predecir la conducta de los otros en los diferentes contextos sociales. La comunidad de investigadores ha definido las áreas funcionales que constituyen el dominio de la cognición social, que incluyen, al menos, la teoría de la mente, la percepción sensorial, la percepción social y la atribución de sesgos. Un variado conjunto de evidencias ha demostrado que las alteraciones de estas funciones en pacientes con esquizofrenia se vinculan con algunas de las manifestaciones clásicas de la psicopatología de la esquizofrenia, como los defectos en la sensopercepción, la conciencia de enfermedad y la atribución del origen y la autoría de actos humanos. Estas alteraciones conductuales se han vinculado a perturbaciones estructurales y funcionales en los constituyentes del llamado cerebro social. Este incluye un conjunto de áreas prefrontales mediales, parietales y temporales que se han asociado a algunas anomalías en la teoría de la mente, la percepción de emociones y la capacidad para considerar la perspectiva de los otros, fenómenos comúnmente encontrados en la esquizofrenia. Las futuras investigaciones en el dominio de la cognición social debieran orientarse a clarificar su vínculo con el cerebro social y la neurocognición.

ABSTRACT Social cognition in schizophrenia is currently one of the major fields of interest in studies of this disorder. It is commonly conceptualised as a set of mental operations underlying social interactions, and therefore related to the ability to interpret and predict the behaviour of others in different social contexts. The research community has defined the functional areas that constitute the domain of social cognition, including, at least, the theory of mind, sensory perception, social perception, and attributional bias. Different bodies of evidence have shown that alterations in these functions in patients with schizophrenia are linked to some of their main psychopathological dysfunctions, such as defects in sensory perception, insight and attributional origin, and authorship of human acts. These behavioural alterations have been linked to structural and functional disturbances in the constituents of the so-called social brain. This includes a set of medial parietal, temporal, and pre-frontal areas that have been associated with some anomalies in the theory of mind, the perception of emotions, and the ability to consider the perspective of others, phenomena commonly found in schizophrenia. Future research in the domain of social cognition should be aimed at clarifying its relationship with the social brain and neurocognition.

SUMMARY: The continuous development of the morphological sciences and the use of their products by various applied sciences has led to the incorporation of modifications into Anatomical Terminology (TA) that tend to interpretations of the names, which are given by principle in Latin as the official language. This situation requires periodic reviews of the nomenclature, suggesting reliable and valid adjustments from the translation into the vernacular language of the anatomical terms. In this sense, we review the terms in International Anatomical Terminology (IAT) of: Tunica mucosa linguae (A05.1.04.011), Tunica serosa (A05.4.01.007), Tunica adventitia (A05.4.01.009), Tunica muscularis ( A05.4.01.010), Tunica mucosa (A05.4.01.015) and Tunica mucosa oris (A05.1.01.002); those that, translated into Spanish by the Spanish Anatomical Society (2001) are identified as: mucosa of the tongue, serosa layer, adventitial layer, muscle layer, mucous layer and mucosa of the mouth, respectively; recognizing, etymological errors, in the translation of the term Tunica (in Latin: Tunica) by Capa (from the Latin Cappa) or its absence. Evidenced this, we made an analysis of the Latin terms Tunica and Cappa, and its translation into Spanish, finding: inconsistencies in the translation of the terms, lack of translation of the word Tunica; and, the substantiated verification of such inconsistencies in the etymology of the described terms. In the light of the results, based on the principles of the TA and the principle of construction of the human body of "stratification", we suggest: change the translation in TAI for the terms Tunica mucosa linguae, Tunica serosa, Tunica adventitia, and Tunica mucosa oris by: Mucosa linguae, Cappa serosa, Cappa adventitia, Mucosa oris, and, change, the translation into Spanish of the terms Tunica muscularis and Tunica mucosa into Muscular Tunic and Tunic Mucosa, respectively.The use of correct anatomical terms will allow better communication in the field of teaching and scientific research.

RESUMEN: El continuo desarrollo de las ciencias morfológicas y la utilización de sus productos por diversas ciencias aplicadas ha provocado la incorporación a Terminologia Anatomica (TA) de modificaciones que tienden a interpretaciones de los nombres, que son dados por principio en latín como idioma oficial. Esta situación, hacen necesarias revisiones periódicas de la nomenclatura, sugiriendo adecuaciones confiables y válidas a la traducción al idioma vernáculo de los términos anatómicos. En este sentido, revisamos los términos en Terminologia Anatomica Internacional (TAI) de: Tunica mucosa linguae (A05.1.04.011), Tunica serosa (A05.4.01.007), Tunica adventitia (A05.4.01.009), Tunica muscularis (A05.4.01.010), Tunica mucosa (A05.4.01.015) y Tunica mucosa oris (A05.1.01.002); los que, traducidos al español por la Sociedad Anatómica Española (2001) se identifican como: mucosa de la lengua, capa serosa, capa adventicia, capa muscular, capa mucosa y mucosa de la boca, respectivamente; reconociendo, errores etimológicos, en la traducción del término Túnica (en latin: Tunica) por el de Capa (del latín Cappa) o su ausencia. Evidenciado esto, realizamos un análisis de los términos latinos Tunica y Cappa, y su traducción al español, encontrando: inconsistencias en la traducción de los términos, falta de traducción de la palabra Tunica; y, la verificación fundamentada de tales inconsistencias en la etimología de los términos descritos. A la luz de los resultados, basándose en los principios de la TA y el principio de construcción del cuerpo humano de estratificación, sugerimos: cambiar la traducción en TAI para los términos Tunica mucosa linguae, Tunica serosa, Tunica adventitia, y Tunica mucosa oris por: Mucosa linguae, Cappa serosa, Cappa adventitia, Mucosa oris; y, cambiar, la traducción al español de los términos Tunica muscularis y Tunica mucosa hacia Túnica muscular y Túnica mucosa, respectivamente. El uso de términos anatómicos correctos permitirá una mejor comunicación en el ámbito de la docencia y la investigación científica.

We analyse the transformations that occurred between 1960 and 2010 in the Metropolitan Area of Concepción, Chile, an emblematic city of national importance. This paper deals with the study of the imaginaries and discourses of development as a possibility of monitoring the changes in a given territory with emphasis on environmental assessment. We suggest a theoretical and methodological model that enables us to identify the partner trajectories from a discursive point of view in addition to the traditional perspective of the mutations in the economic, urban and demographic fields. For this purpose, we present the documentary analysis of official instruments of spatial planning at the community level and the regional (subnational level), emphasizing the environmental dimension, where we can suggest semantic development paths associated with environmental imaginaries, covering from natural resources to environmental degradation.

Se analizan las transformaciones ocurridas entre 1960 y 2010 en el Área Metropolitana de Concepción (AMC), Chile, ciudad emblemática por ser enclave económico de relevancia nacional. Este trabajo se ocupa del estudio de los imaginarios y de los discursos del desarrollo como posibilidad de observar las transformaciones en un territorio determinado con énfasis en su valoración ambiental, considerándose pertinente aportar con la proposición de un modelo teórico-metodológico que posibilite identificar las trayectorias socio-territoriales desde un punto de vista discursivo. Lo anterior en complemento a las tradicionales miradas de las mutaciones en el plano económico, urbano y demográfico. Para tales efectos se presenta el análisis documental de instrumentos oficiales de planificación territorial a nivel comunal y regional (nivel subnacional), haciendo énfasis en su dimensión ambiental, desde donde se sugieren los trayectos semánticos del desarrollo asociado a los imaginarios de ambiente, que abarcan desde los recursos naturales hasta el deterioro ambiental.

OBJETIVO: Avaliar as possíveis associações entre diversos fatores sociodemográficos, clínicos e de cuidado à saúde e o número de necessidades não atendidas entre pessoas que estão sendo tratadas devido à esquizofrenia. MÉTODOS: A amostra foi composta por 141 indivíduos que estavam sendo tratados em oito redes de serviço de saúde mental por todo o Chile. A necessidade não atendida foi avaliada pela Camberwell Assessment of Need, que foi especificamente criada para pessoas com distúrbios mentais graves. Também foi aplicada uma análise de regressão linear múltipla. RESULTADOS: Encontrou-se associação direta com variáveis clínicas: escore na Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, funcionamento global ao diagnóstico e mudança no funcionamento global ao diagnóstico desde o diagnóstico à entrevista. Entretanto, variáveis sociodemográficas (etnia, nível educacional e número de pessoas que moram com o indivíduo) e clínicas (idade no momento do diagnóstico e taxa anual de recidiva) foram indiretamente associadas com as necessidades não atendidas. CONCLUSÕES: Os presentes resultados podem ser aplicados para coordenar e aprimorar a eficácia dos serviços de saúde mental no Chile.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the possible associations between different sociodemographic, clinical, and healthcare factors and the number of unmet needs among people being treated for schizophrenia. METHODS: The sample was made up of 141 subjects who were being treated at eight mental health service networks throughout Chile. Unmet need was assessed with the Camberwell Assessment of Need, which was specifically created for people with severe mental disorders. A multiple linear regression analysis was also applied. RESULTS: It was found a direct association with clinical variables: score in the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, global functioning at diagnosis, and change in global functioning at diagnosis from diagnosis to interview. However, sociodemographic (ethnicity, education level, and number of people who live with subject) and other clinical variables (age at diagnosis, and annual rate of relapse) were indirectly associated with unmet needs. CONCLUSIONS: Our results can be applied in order to coordinate and improve the effectiveness of mental health services in Chile.
