Resumo Um quisto púbico cartilaginoso é uma lesão degenerativa rara e benigna que tem origem na fibrocartilagem da sínfise púbica. Habitualmente, tende a ocorrer em mulheres pós-menopausa e deve ser considerado no diagnóstico diferencial de massas quísticas púbicas e vulvares. Tratando-se de uma lesão incomum, excecionalmente rara em homens, pode estar associada a erros diagnósticos, sendo a Ressonância Magnética (RM) a modalidade de imagem de eleição para a melhor caracterização. Apresentamos um caso de um quisto retropúbico detetado incidentalmente numa Ressonância Magnética da anca num homem de 57 anos.

Abstract A pubic cartilaginous cyst is a rare, benign, slow-growing degenerative lesion arising from the fibrocartilaginous part of the pubic symphysis joint usually occurring in post-menopausal women. It should be considered in the differential diagnosis of pubic and vulvar cystic masses. Since it is an uncommon lesion, especially in men, it can be easily misdiagnosed. Magnetic Resonance imaging is the investigation of choice for this condition. We report a case of a retropubic cyst incidentally detected in a 57-year-old male patient who performed a hip Magnetic Resonance imaging.

Resumo Considerado um problema social e de saúde pública mundial que está longe de acabar, o abuso sexual infantil tem consequências psicológicas para as vítimas e para seus familiares. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar a ocorrência de sintomas de estresse, ansiedade e depressão em mães e verificar se tais sintomas estavam relacionados aos sintomas de seus filhos que sofreram abuso sexual. Participaram desta pesquisa 65 mães de filhos(as) com idades entre 6 e 18 anos, recrutadas por meio de redes sociais e grupos de apoio. Foram aplicados os seguintes instrumentos: Child Behavior Checklist; Inventário de Ansiedade de Beck; Inventário de Depressão de Beck; Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist e Questionário com dados sociodemográficos e características do abuso sexual. A coleta de dados foi realizada de forma online por meio do Google Forms. Os resultados apresentaram níveis grave e moderado para ansiedade, depressão e estresse pós-traumático em 70,8% da amostra de participantes. Foram realizadas análises de regressão linear múltipla, demonstrando que as variáveis sociodemográficas, o abuso sexual intrafamiliar, a mãe ter sofrido abuso sexual e as variáveis do CBCL não foram preditores para sintomas de ansiedade e depressão das mães. Para os sintomas de estresse pós-traumático das mães, observou-se que as queixas somáticas dos filhos foram preditoras, explicando 70,8% do desfecho. Conclui-se que a maioria dos sintomas apresentados pelos filhos que sofreram abuso sexual não está relacionada com os sintomas das mães, evidenciando que a ocorrência do abuso sexual por si só é um fator de adoecimento para as mães.

Abstract Considered a global social and public health problem that is far from over, child sexual abuse has psychological consequences for victims and their families. The objective of this research was to analyze the occurrence of symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression in mothers and to verify if such symptoms were related to the symptoms of their children who suffered sexual abuse. 65 mothers of children aged between 6 and 18 years old, recruited through social networks and support groups, participated in this research. The following instruments were applied: Child Behavior Checklist; Beck Anxiety Inventory; Beck Depression Inventory; Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist and Questionnaire with sociodemographic data and characteristics of sexual abuse. Data collection was carried out online through Google Forms. The results showed severe and moderate levels for anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress in 70.8% of the sample of participants. Multiple linear regression analyzes were performed, demonstrating that sociodemographic variables, intrafamilial sexual abuse, mother having suffered sexual abuse and the CBCL variables were not predictors of anxiety and depression symptoms in mothers. For the mothers' post-traumatic stress symptoms, it was observed that the somatic complaints of the children were predictors, explaining 70.8% of the outcome. It is concluded that most of the symptoms presented by children who suffered sexual abuse are not related to the symptoms of the mothers, showing that the occurrence of sexual abuse in itself is a factor of illness for mothers.

Abstract Background: Family-centered care is an approach that addresses the needs and values of each family. Objective: To know the perceptions of nurses in the cardiac intensive care unit of a hospital center in northern Portugal about relational practices with families in an intensive care unit. Methodology: Quantitative, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional study with a sample of 26 nurses, 65.4% (n = 17) female. The PREFUCI-Importance and PREFUCI-Frequency scales were used. Results: The practice of "being available to clarify doubts to family members" was the practice most frequently rated by participants as Totally important and implemented Always. The mean PREFUCI total score, calculated by summing the scores of the 15 items in each scale, was 59.5 on the importance scale and 52.69 on the frequency scale. Conclusion: Participants showed positive attitudes toward the importance of PREFUCI. However, the frequency of implementation is moderate, with a positive correlation between these two variables, reflecting the need to operationalize these practices.

Resumo Enquadramento: O cuidado centrado na família é uma abordagem que atende às necessidades e valores de cada família. Objetivo: Conhecer a perceção dos enfermeiros da Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Cardíacos (UCIC) de um Centro Hospitalar da Zona Norte de Portugal (CHZNP) sobre as Práticas Relacionais dos Enfermeiros com a Família em Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos (PREFUCI). Metodologia: Estudo quantitativo, descritivo, correlacional e transversal. Amostra constituída por 26 enfermeiros, 65,4% (n = 17) do sexo feminino. Usamos as escalas PREFUCI-Importância e PREFUCI-Frequência. Resultados: A prática “Disponibilizar-se para esclarecer dúvidas aos familiares” foi a mais escolhida pelos participantes como Totalmente Importante e implementada Sempre. A média do score global da PREFUCI, obtido através da soma da pontuação dos 15 itens que compõem cada escala foi, 59,5 na escala Importância e 52,69 na escala Frequência. Conclusão: Os participantes revelaram uma atitude positiva face à importância das PREFUCI, no entanto, a frequência com que as implementam é moderada, verificando-se uma correlação positiva entre essas duas variáveis, que reflete a necessidade de operacionalização destas práticas.

Resumen Marco contextual: La atención centrada en la familia es un enfoque que responde a las necesidades y los valores de cada familia. Objetivo: Conocer la percepción de los enfermeros de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Cardíacos (UCIC) de un centro hospitalario de la zona norte de Portugal (CHZNP) sobre las Prácticas Relacionales de los Enfermeros y la Familia en las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (PREFUCI). Metodología: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional y transversal. Muestra compuesta por 26 enfermeros, el 65,4% (n = 17) del sexo femenino. Se usaron las escalas PREFUCI-Importancia y PREFUCI-Frecuencia. Resultados: La práctica “Estar disponible para responder a las preguntas de los familiares” fue la más elegida por los participantes como Totalmente Importante y aplicada Siempre. La media de la puntuación global de la PREFUCI, obtenida a través de la suma de la puntuación de los 15 ítems que componen cada escala fue 59,5 en la escala Importancia y 52,69 en la escala Frecuencia. Conclusión: Los participantes mostraron una actitud positiva hacia la importancia de las PREFUCI, sin embargo, la frecuencia con la que las aplican es moderada, y existe una correlación positiva entre estas dos variables, lo que refleja la necesidad de operativizar estas prácticas.

Resumen Con el aumento exponencial de la cantidad de datos generados diariamente, se ha intensificado el interés de las organizaciones por desarrollar estrategias para el manejo de Big Data. Un ejemplo de Big Data brasileño es la Plataforma CNPq Lattes, que permite extraer información de los currículos de los investigadores registrados en ella. Una de las limitaciones de la plataforma es que la información se ordena individualmente para cada investigador y sin un estándar de indexación, lo que hace imposible extraer datos de los investigadores simultáneamente. Para remediar este problema, se desarrolló el software ScriptLattes, utilizado en el presente estudio, para extraer información de los currículos de investigadores en oncología inyectable, con el fin de obtener una visión panorámica de sus producciones técnico-científicas. En cuanto a las actividades realizadas por estos especialistas en el período analizado, se observaron un total de: 85.465 artículos completos publicados, 24.068 producciones técnicas y 13.496 proyectos implementados. Los análisis de red realizados con la ayuda del software Gephi señalaron al Dr. Fernando de Queiroz Cunha, de la Facultad de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (USP), como el investigador más destacado del área. A pesar de las limitaciones de la Plataforma Lattes, los resultados demostraron ser eficientes, posibilitando la generación de conocimiento científico y tecnológico en oncología inyectable en varios niveles institucionales.

Abstract With the exponential increase in the amount of data generated daily, the interest of organizations in developing strategies for handling Big Data has intensified. An example of Brazilian Big Data is the CNPq Lattes Platform, which allows extracting information from the curricula of researchers registered therein. One of the limitations on the platform is that the information is arranged individually for each researcher and without an indexing standard, making it impossible to extract data from researchers simultaneously. To remedy this problem, the ScriptLattes software was developed, used in the present study, to extract information from the curricula of researchers in injectable oncology, to obtain a panoramic view of their technical and scientific productions. Regarding the activities carried out by these specialists in the analyzed period, a total of: 85,465 published complete articles, 24,068 technical productions and 13,496 implemented projects were observed. Networking analyzes performed applying Gephi software pointed Dr. Fernando de Queiroz Cunha, from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (USP), as the most prominent researcher in the area. Despite the limitations of the Lattes Platform, the results proved to be efficient, enabling the generation of scientific and technological knowledge in injectable oncology at various institutional levels.

Efficacy of ultrasound-guided infiltration with levobupivacaine and triamcinolone for myofascial pain syndrome of the quadratus lumborum: a retrospective observational study

Abstract Introduction and objectives: Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS) of the Quadratus Lumborum muscle (QL) is a frequent cause of chronic low back pain. With this study, we aimed to assess the efficacy of ultrasound-guided infiltration with 0.25% levobupivacaine and 40 mg triamcinolone for MPS of the QL. Methods: Observational and retrospective study of participants submitted to ultrasound-guided infiltration of the QL muscle from January 1, 2015 to June 31, 2019. Pain intensity was assessed using the five-point pain Numeric Rating Scale (NRS): pre-intervention, at 72 hours, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months post-intervention. Additional data collected were demographic characteristics, opioid consumption, and adverse effects. Results: We assessed 90 participants with mean age of 55.2 years. Sixty-eight percent of participants were female. Compared to the pre-intervention assessment, there was an improvement in pain at 72 hours (Mean Difference [MD = 3.085]; 95% CI: 2.200-3.970, p < 0.05), at the 1st month (MD = 2.644; 95% CI: 1.667-3.621, p < 0.05), at the 3rdmonth (MD = 2.017; 95% CI: 0.202-2.729, p < 0.05) and at the 6th month (MD = 1.339; 95% CI 0.378-2.300, p < 0.05), post-intervention. No statistically significant differences in opioid consumption were observed. No adverse effects associated with the technique were reported. Conclusions: Ultrasound-guided infiltration of the QL muscle is a safe and effective procedure for the treatment of pain in the QL MPS within 6 months post-intervention.

ABSTRACT For many fish species, prolonged fasting is part of their life cycle, as there are seasonal fluctuations in the quantity and quality of food available in their natural habitat. These animals use endogenous reserves during periods of food scarcity and recover when resources become available again. We evaluated the effect of a prolonged fasting period on indicators of body reserve use, growth performance and intestinal integrity of the Amazonian serrasalmid Piaractus brachypomus. We distributed 66 juveniles (68.6 ± 2.2 g) in 11 tanks. The treatment consisted of 30 days fasting followed by 45 days refeeding and the control of 75 days normal feeding with 5 replicates (one tank with six fish). The six individuals in the 11th tank were used for baseline measurements. Blood parameters, muscle lipid concentration, hepatosomatic and mesenteric fat indices, somatic growth parameters and intestinal villi morphology were measured every 15 days. Glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol, total protein, the mesenteric fat and hepatosomatic indices, weight gain, specific growth rate, condition factor and total biomass decreased significantly during fasting compared to the control, but all except body condition recovered during refeeding. The length and perimeter of the intestinal villi was significantly lower during fasting compared to the control. The feeding protocol allowed P. brachypomus to mobilize part of their body reserves during fasting, however, in general, refeeding was sufficient to restore their body needs and growth performance compatible with that of continuously fed animals.

RESUMO Muitas espécies de peixe suportam jejum prolongado como parte do seu ciclo de vida, devido a flutuações na quantidade e qualidade de alimentos disponíveis em seu habitat natural. Esses animais utilizam reservas endógenas durante períodos de escassez de alimentos e se recuperam quando voltam a estar disponíveis. Avaliamos o efeito de jejum prolongado sobre indicadores de uso de reservas corporais, desempenho e integridade intestinal no serrasalmídeo amazônico Piaractus brachypomus. Distribuímos 66 juvenis (68,6 ± 2,2 g) em 11 tanques. O tratamento consistiu em 30 dias de jejum seguidos de 45 dias de realimentação, e o controle de 75 dias de alimentação contínua, com 5 repetições (um tanque com seis peixes). Os seis indivíduos do 11º tanque foram usados para medidas basais. Parâmetros sanguíneos, concentração de lipídios musculares, índices de gordura hepatossomática e mesentérica, parâmetros de crescimento somático e morfologia das vilosidades intestinais foram medidos a cada 15 dias. Glicose, triglicerídeos, colesterol, proteína total, índices hepatossomático e de gordura mesentérica, ganho em peso, taxa de crescimento específico, fator de condição e biomassa total diminuíram significativamente durante o jejum em comparação com o controle, mas todos, exceto a condição corporal, recuperaram-se durante a realimentação. O comprimento e o perímetro das vilosidades intestinais foram significativamente menores durante o jejum em comparação com o controle. O protocolo de alimentação permitiu que P. brachypomus mobilizasse parte de suas reservas corporais durante o jejum, porém, em geral, a realimentação foi suficiente para repor suas necessidades corporais e o desempenho compatível com o de animais alimentados continuamente.

Abstract Based on the information about Value of Industrial Transformation (VIT) present in “Mapa da Indústria Paulista” (Map of São Paulo’s Industry) (Fundação Seade, 2019), this article aims to discuss the economic-industrial dynamics of the São Paulo Macrometropolis (acronym in Portuguese: MMP) between 2003 and 2016. This analysis contributes to discussions about spatial concentration and deconcentration of the industry by putting in the foreground – and with a certain pioneering spirit – the data resulting from the VIT. First, in addition to presenting the MMP (which, from the economic point of view, is Brazil’s most relevant and dynamic territory), we contextualize its participation in the history of the Brazilian manufacturing industry in recent decades. Then, we analyze the evolution and sectoral profile of the VIT in the MMP, highlighting its movements in the municipality of São Paulo, in the Metropolitan Ring Road, and in the MMP surroundings.

Resumo A partir das informações do Valor de Transformação Industrial (VTI) presentes no Mapa da Indústria Paulista (Fundação Seade, 2019), este artigo objetiva discutir a dinâmica econômico-industrial, entre 2003 e 2016, da Macrometrópole Paulista (MMP). Buscamos contribuir para as discussões acerca da concentração e desconcentração espacial da indústria ao colocar em primeiro plano e com certo pioneirismo os dados decorrentes do VTI. Primeiramente, além de apresentar a MMP (território, do ponto de vista econômico, mais relevante e dinâmico do País), contextualiza-se sua participação no percurso da indústria brasileira nas últimas décadas. Em seguida, analisam-se a evolução e o perfil setorial do VTI na MMP, ressaltando-se seus movimentos no município de São Paulo, no anel metropolitano e no entorno macrometropolitano.

RESUMO OBJETIVO Estimar a soroprevalência de anticorpos do vírus SARS-CoV-2 em escolares de quatro a 14 anos de idade residentes no município de São Paulo, segundo variáveis clínicas, demográficas, epidemiológicas e sociais, durante o período de fechamento das escolas como medida de controle da covid-19. MÉTODOS Realizou-se um inquérito sorológico em setembro de 2020 com amostra aleatória estratificada por tipo de rede de ensino (pública municipal, pública estadual e privada). Foi coletada amostra de sangue venoso utilizando-se o teste de imunoensaio de fluxo lateral da fabricante Wondfo para detecção de anticorpos totais contra o vírus SARS-CoV-2. Aplicaram-se questionários semiestruturados para o levantamento de dados clínicos, demográficos, sociais e epidemiológicos. RESULTADOS A soroprevalência de anticorpos do vírus SARS-CoV-2 em escolares foi de 16,6% (IC95% 15,4–17,8). O estudo encontrou soroprevalências mais elevadas na rede pública municipal (18,5%; IC95% 16,6–20,6) e estadual (16,2%; IC95% 14,4–18,2) em relação à rede privada (11,7; IC95% 10,0–13,7) e entre escolares da raça/cor preta e parda (18,4%; IC95% 16,8–20,2) e no estrato social mais vulnerável (18,5%; IC95% 16,9–20,2). A pesquisa identificou menores soroprevalências nos escolares que relataram seguir as medidas recomendadas de proteção contra a covid-19. CONCLUSÃO A soroprevalência de anticorpos contra o vírus SARS-CoV-2 atinge principalmente os escolares socialmente mais vulneráveis. Este estudo pode contribuir para embasar políticas públicas que reforcem a importância da suspensão das aulas presenciais e da necessidade de estratégias de medidas de proteção e acompanhamento do status sorológico daqueles que ainda não foram contemplados no calendário vacinal.

ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To estimate seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in schoolchildren aged 4 to 14 years living in the city of São Paulo, according to clinical, demographic, epidemiological, and social variables, during the school closure period as a measure against covid-19 spread. METHODS A serological survey was made in September 2020 with a random sample stratified by school system (municipal public, state public and private) type. A venous blood sample was collected using the Wondfo SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Test (lateral flow method) for detection of total SARS-CoV-2 virus antibodies. Semi-structured questionnaires were applied to collect clinical, demographic, social, and epidemiological data. RESULTS Seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in schoolchildren was of 16.6% (95%CI 15.4–17.8). The study found higher seroprevalence in the municipal (18.5%; 95%CI 16.6–20.6) and state (16.2%; 95%CI 14.4–18.2) public school systems compared to the private school system (11.7; 95%CI 10.0–13.7), among black and brown students (18.4%; 95%CI 16.8–20.2) and in the most vulnerable social stratum (18.5 %;95%CI 16.9–20.2). Lower seroprevalence was identified in schoolchildren who reported following the recommended protective measures against covid-19. CONCLUSION Seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies is found mainly in the most socially vulnerable schoolchildren. This study can contribute to support public policies that reinforce the importance of suspending face-to-face classes and developing strategies aimed at protective measures and monitoring of the serological status of those who have not yet been included in the vaccination schedule.

RESUMO Objetivo: Identificar a variabilidade espacial da mortalidade por câncer de mama e colo do útero e avaliar fatores associados à mortalidade por esses cânceres no município de São Paulo. Métodos: Entre 2009 e 2016 foram registrados, no Sistema de Informações sobre Mortalidade, 10.124 óbitos por câncer de mama e 2.116 óbitos por câncer do colo do útero em mulheres com 20 anos e mais. Os registros foram geocodificados por endereço de residência e agregados segundo território adstrito. Foram realizadas modelagens de regressão espacial utilizando-se a abordagem bayesiana com estrutura de Besag-York-Mollié para verificar a associação dos óbitos com indicadores selecionados. Resultados: As taxas de mortalidade por esses cânceres apresentaram padrões espaciais inversos. As variáveis associadas à mortalidade por câncer de mama foram: tempo de deslocamento para o trabalho entre uma e duas horas (risco relativo — RR 0,97; intervalo de credibilidade — IC95% 0,93–1,00); mulheres responsáveis pelo domicílio (RR 0,97; IC95% 0,94–0,99) e óbitos por câncer de mama ocorridos em estabelecimentos privados (RR 1,04; IC95% 1,00–1,07). À mortalidade por câncer do colo do útero, estiveram associados: tempo de deslocamento para o trabalho entre meia e uma hora (RR 0,92; IC95% 0,87–0,98); rendimento domiciliar até três salários-mínimos (RR 1,27; IC95% 1,18–1,37); e razão de menores de um ano em relação à população feminina de 15 a 49 anos (RR 1,09; IC95% 1,01–1,18). Conclusão: Foram calculados os RR preditos para a mortalidade por esses cânceres, que estiveram associados às condições socioeconômicas das áreas de abrangência.

ABSTRACT Objective: To identify spatial variability of mortality from breast and cervical cancer and to assess factors associated in the city of São Paulo. Methods: Between 2009 and 2016, 10,124 deaths from breast cancer and 2,116 deaths from cervical cancer were recorded in the Mortality Information System among women aged 20 years and over. The records were geocoded by address of residence and grouped according to Primary Health Care coverage areas. A spatial regression modeling was put together using the Bayesian approach with a Besag-York-Mollié structure to verify the association of deaths with selected indicators. Results: Mortality rates from these types of cancer showed inverse spatial patterns. These variables were associated with breast cancer mortality: travel time between one and two hours to work (RR – relative risk: 0.97; 95%CI – credible interval: 0.93–1.00); women being the head of the household (RR 0.97; 95%CI 0.94–0.99) and deaths from breast cancer in private health institutions (RR 1.04; 95%CI 1.00–1.07). The following variables were associated with mortality from cervical cancer: travel time to work between half an hour and one hour (RR 0.92; 95%CI 0.87–0.98); per capita household income of up to 3 minimum wages (RR 1.27; 95%CI 1.18–1.37) and ratio of children under one year of age related to the female population aged 15 to 49 years (RR 1.09; 95%CI 1.01–1.18). Conclusion: The predicted RR for mortality from these cancers were calculated and associated with the socioeconomic conditions of the areas covered.

Abstract Few long-term studies assess the discoloration induced by hydraulic calcium silicate-based cement on dental structures. In addition, as far as we know, no long-term study has assessed the discoloration induced by these cement on composite resin. Objective This in vitro study aimed to assess, during a period of two years, the discoloration potential of different hydraulic calcium silicate-based cements (hCSCs) on the enamel/dentin structure and composite resin restoration. Methodology A total of 40 enamel/dentin discs were obtained from bovine incisors, and 40 composite resin discs (10 mm in diameter × 2 mm thick) were fabricated. A 0.8 mm-deep cavity was made in the center of each disc and filled with the following hCSCs (n=10): Original MTA (Angelus); MTA Repair HP (Angelus); NeoMTA Plus (Avalon); and Biodentine (Septodont). An initial color measurement was performed (T0 - baseline). After 7, 15, 30, 45, 90, 300 days, and two years, new color measurements were performed to determine the color (ΔE00), lightness (ΔL’), chroma (ΔC’), hue differences (ΔH’), and whiteness index (WID). Results For enamel/dentin, the ΔE00 was significant among groups and periods (p<0.05). NeoMTA Plus had the greatest ΔE00. The NeoMTA Plus group had the greatest ΔE00 after two years for composite resin. Significant reduction in lightness was observed for all groups after two years (p<0.05). The most significant WID values were observed after 30 days for Biodentine (enamel/dentin) and MTA Repair HP groups (composite resin) (p<0.05). Conclusions The hCSCs changed the colorimetric behavior of both substrates, leading to greater darkening over time. The Bi2O3 in the Original MTA seems relevant in the short periods of color change assessment.

In the present work, the AZ61 alloy, one of the most important commercial structural magnesium alloys, was anodized in three different alkaline electrolytes consisting of 3 M KOH + 0.15 M Na2SiO3 + 0.1 M Na2B4O7.10H2O, 3 M KOH + 0.5 M Na3PO4 and 3 M KOH + 0.50 M Na2SiO3. The treatment was conducted at two different current densities, 20 and 30 mA.cm-2 for 10 minutes. The anodized layers were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The corrosion resistance was assessed by potentiodynamic polarization tests. The SCC behavior was studied using slow strain rate tests in 0.1 M NaCl solution at room temperature. Conventional tensile tests were also conducted in air. The susceptibility to SCC was dependent on the morphology of the anodized film. The composition of the electrolyte and the current density of the anodization treatment affected the SCC susceptibility of the AZ61 alloy. The best corrosion resistance and the lowest susceptibility to SCC were obtained for samples anodized in the borate-containing electrolyte at 30 mA.cm-2. The smooth and compact surface morphology of the anodized film obtained in this condition was the main reason for the improved SCC behavior of the AZ61 alloy.

ABSTRACT Objective: to describe the practices that favor breastfeeding performed in the Rooming-In area and satisfaction with the care received according to discharge on exclusive breastfeeding. Method: a quantitative study conducted between July 2020 and September 2021 in a maternity teaching hospital from southern Brazil; a total of 756 puerperal women participated by means of an online questionnaire 20 days after hospital discharge. The data were analyzed in a descriptive way with absolute and relative frequencies, and the chi-square test was applied to verify any statistical difference according to the “discharge on exclusive breastfeeding” outcome. Results: the prevalence of discharge on exclusive breastfeeding was 85.0% and the practices that presented and association with the outcome were guidelines regarding the breastfeeding readiness signs (69.0% versus 57.5%), correct position and latch (94.1% versus 86.7%), free demand (79.2% versus 69.0%), exclusive breastfeeding until the sixth month of life and complemented until two years of age (77.9% versus 67.3%); and the practice of not offering other milk during hospitalization (88.5% versus 17.1%). Satisfaction with the care received was high (95.0%) and presented no association with the outcome of “discharge on exclusive breastfeeding”. Conclusion: most of the women treated had access to the practices that favor breastfeeding, and education in health exerted a positive impact on exclusive breastfeeding at hospital discharge.

RESUMEN Objetivo: describir las prácticas que favorecen la lactancia materna realizadas en el área de Alojamiento Conjunto y el grado de satisfacción con la atención recibida conforme al alta hospitalaria en lactancia exclusiva. Método: estudio cuantitativo realizado entre julio de 2020 y septiembre de 2021 en una maternidad escuela del sur de Brasil; las participantes fueron 756 puérperas que respondieron un cuestionario en línea 20 días después del alta hospitalaria. Los datos se analizaron en forma descriptiva por medio de frecuencias absolutas y relativas; se aplicó la prueba de chi-cuadrado para verificar si existía alguna diferencia estadística conforme al desenlace de “alta hospitalaria en lactancia exclusiva”. Resultados: la prevalencia del alta hospitalaria en lactancia exclusiva fue del 85,0% y las prácticas que presentaron una asociación con el desenlace fueron las indicaciones orientativas relacionadas con la señales de prontitud para mamar (69,0% versus 57,5%), posición y agarre correctos (94,1% versus 86,7%), libre demanda (79,2% versus 69,0%), lactancia exclusiva hasta el sexto mes de vida y complementada hasta los dos años de edad (77,9% versus 67,3%); y la práctica de no ofrecer otro tipo de leche durante la internación (88,5% versus 17,1%). El grado de satisfacción con la atención recibida fue elevado (95,0%) y no presentó ninguna asociación con el desenlace de “alta hospitalaria en lactancia exclusiva”. Conclusión: la mayoría de las mujeres atendidas tuvo acceso a las prácticas que favorecen la lactancia materno, y la educación en salud ejerció un efecto positivo sobre la lactancia exclusiva al momento del alta hospitalaria.

Método: estudo quantitativo realizado entre julho de 2020 e setembro de 2021 em uma maternidade escola no Sul do Brasil, participaram 756 puérperas por meio de questionário online 20 dias após a alta hospitalar. Os dados foram analisados de forma descritiva, frequência absoluta e relativa, foi aplicado o teste de chi-quadrado para verificar uma diferença estatística segundo o desfecho alta em aleitamento materno exclusivo. Resultados: a prevalência da alta em aleitamento materno exclusivo foi de 85,0% e as práticas que apresentaram associação com o desfecho foram as orientações quanto aos sinais de prontidão para a mamada (69,0% versus 57,5%), a posição e pega correta (94,1% versus 86,7%), a livre demanda (79,2% versus 69,0%), o aleitamento materno exclusivo até o sexto mês de vida e complementado até os dois anos (77,9% versus 67,3%); e a prática da não oferta de outro leite durante a internação (88,5% versus 17,1%). A satisfação com o atendimento recebido foi elevada (95,0%) e não apresentou associação com o desfecho de alta em aleitamento materno exclusivo. Conclusão: a maioria das mulheres atendidas teve acesso às práticas que favorecem o aleitamento materno e a educação em saúde trouxe impacto positivo para o aleitamento materno exclusivo na alta hospitalar.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to assess the multidisciplinary team of a Psychosocial Care Center I from users’ and family members’ perspective. Methods: an evaluative study, anchored in the fourth generation evaluation theoretical-methodological framework, carried out in a Psychosocial Care Center I, from September 2021 to March 2022. Eleven users and 06 family members participated. Data were collected through non-participant observation, individual interviews and negotiation sessions, and analyzed using the Constant Comparative Method, using the MAXQDA software. Results: the team develops its care based on individual and collective care, with integrated and complementary work by professionals. They seek to facilitate treatment initiation and continuation, considering health needs and offering support, understanding and guidance to users and their families. Final Considerations: the multidisciplinary team’s work is based on the psychosocial paradigm, which can qualify care and strengthen the service role in the mental health network.

RESUMEN Objetivos: evaluar el equipo multidisciplinario de un Centro de Atención Psicosocial I desde la perspectiva de los usuarios y familiares. Métodos: estudio evaluativo, anclado en el referencial teórico-metodológico de la evaluación de cuarta generación, realizado en un Centro de Atención Psicosocial I, de septiembre de 2021 a marzo de 2022. Participaron 11 usuarios y 06 familiares. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de observación no participante, entrevistas individuales y sesiones de negociación, y analizados mediante el Método Comparativo Constante, utilizando el software MAXQDA. Resultados: el equipo desarrolla su asistencia a partir de la asistencia individual y colectiva, con trabajo integrado y complementario de los profesionales. Busca facilitar el inicio y la continuación del tratamiento, considerando las necesidades de salud y ofreciendo apoyo, comprensión y orientación a los usuarios y sus familias. Consideraciones Finales: la actuación del equipo multidisciplinario se basa en el paradigma psicosocial, que puede calificar la atención y fortalecer el papel del servicio en la red de salud mental.

Métodos: estudo avaliativo, ancorado no referencial teórico-metodológico da avaliação de quarta geração, realizado em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial I, de setembro de 2021 a março de 2022. Participaram 11 usuários e 06 familiares. Os dados foram coletados por observação não participante, entrevistas individuais e sessões de negociação, e analisados pelo Método Comparativo Constante, com uso do software MAXQDA. Resultados: a equipe desenvolve sua assistência pautada em atendimentos individuais e coletivos, com trabalho integrado e complementar dos profissionais. Busca facilitar o início e a continuidade do tratamento, considerando as necessidades de saúde e ofertando apoio, compreensão e orientações ao usuário e familiares. Considerações Finais: a atuação da equipe multiprofissional se pauta no paradigma psicossocial, o que pode qualificar o cuidado e fortalecer o papel do serviço na rede de saúde mental.
