ABSTRACT Objective: To compare the glucose metabolism of patients with chronic hepatitis C virus infection treated with direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) in pretreatment and sustained viral response (SVR) periods. Materials and methods: This was an intervention pre-post study of 273 patients with chronic hepatitis C virus infection treated with DAAs from March 2018 to December 2019. Glycidic metabolism was evaluated through homeostasis model assessment (HOMA) – insulin resistance (IR) and HOMA-β indices and assessments of insulinemia and HbA1c levels. These parameters were analyzed with a T test by paired comparison of the means of the variables and Wilcoxon's test paired for the median; in the variables with an abnormal distribution, the Z score was generated for the mean in both the pretreatment and SVR periods. Statistical significance was considered at p ≤ 0.05. Results: Among 273 participants, 125 (45.8%) had prediabetes, and 50 (18.3%) had diabetes. In SVR, there was a significant increase in platelets, albumin, alkaline phosphatase, cholesterol and triglycerides and a significant decrease in aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, gamma GT and bilirubin. The HOMA-IR and HOMA-β indices increased in SVR from 1.95 to 2.29 (p = 0.087) and 71.20 to 82.60 (p = 0.001), respectively. Insulinemia increased from 7.60 μU/mL to 8.90 μU/mL (p = 0.011). HbA1c decreased from 5.6 to 5.4 (p < 0.001). Among patients with prediabetes and those with diabetes, the reduction in HbA1c values was significant (p = 0.006 and p = 0.026, respectively). Conclusion: SVR significantly impacts and leads to improvement in glucose metabolism in patients with chronic liver disease induced by hepatitis C virus.

Abstract This study analyzes the characteristics of the top 100 most-cited papers related to tooth bleaching. A literature search was performed on the Web of Science up to March 2022. The number of citations was cross-matched with the citation count on Scopus and Google Scholar. The following data were collected: number and density of citations; authorship; year and journal of publication; study design and thematic; keywords; institution and country of origin. Spearman’s correlation and Poisson regression were used to determine associations between the number of citations and study characteristics. The VOSviewer software was used to generate collaborative network maps for the authors and keywords. The number of citations ranged from 66 to 450. Papers were published between 1981 and 2020. The most frequent study design and topic were laboratory-based studies and ‘interaction of the bleaching agent with dental tissues’, respectively. Cochran M, Loguercio AD, Matis B, Reis A, and Suliman M were the authors with the highest number of papers. The countries with the most papers were the United States of America (USA) (28%) and Brazil (20%). Indiana University and State University of Ponta Grossa were the institutions with the most papers (6% each). There was a very strong correlation among the number of citations of the three databases. The 100 most-cited papers related to tooth bleaching were mainly published by the USA and Brazil, with laboratory-based studies addressing topics related to the effects of bleaching agents on tooth structure being the most prevalent.

Resumo Este estudo analisa as características dos 100 artigos mais citados relacionados ao clareamento dental. Uma pesquisa bibliográfica foi realizada na Web of Science até março de 2022. O número de citações foi cruzado com a contagem de citações na Scopus e na Google Scholar. Foram coletados os seguintes dados: número e densidade de citações; autoria; ano e periódico de publicação; desenho do estudo e temática; palavras-chave; instituição e país de origem. A correlação de Spearman e a regressão de Poisson foram usadas para determinar associações entre o número de citações e as características do estudo. O software VOSviewer foi utilizado para gerar mapas de rede colaborativa para os autores e palavras-chave. O número de citações variou de 66 a 450. Os artigos foram publicados entre 1981 e 2020. O desenho e o tópico de estudo mais frequentes foram estudos laboratoriais e interação do agente clareador com tecidos dentários, respectivamente. Cochran M, Loguercio AD, Matis B, Reis A e Suliman M foram os autores com maior número de artigos. Os países com mais artigos foram os Estados Unidos da América (EUA) (28%) e o Brasil (20%). A Universidade de Indiana e a Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa foram as instituições com mais artigos (6% cada). Houve uma correlação muito forte entre o número de citações das três bases de dados. Os 100 artigos mais citados relacionados ao clareamento dentário foram publicados principalmente pelos EUA e Brasil, sendo os estudos laboratoriais que abordaram tópicos relacionados aos efeitos dos agentes clareadores na estrutura dentária os mais prevalentes.

Resumen La evaluación de la expresión del ligando 1 de muerte programada (PD-L1) es un criterio de elegibilidad para la inmunoterapia anti-PD-L1 en el carcinoma oral de células escamosas (COCE). También deben evaluarse otros componentes del microambiente tisular. Aquí se informaron cuatro casos de carcinoma de células escamosas orales. Se realizaron análisis histopatológicos del grado tumoral y TIL (infiltrado inflamatorio asociado a tumor) e inmunohistoquímica para CD4, CD8 y PD-L1. Los casos se clasificaron según el microambiente tisular en resistencia inmunitaria adaptativa, ignorancia inmunológica, tolerancia o inducción intrínseca. Este análisis destaca la importancia de comprender el microambiente inmunológico que puede presentar el COCE para la identificación de dianas terapéuticas más eficaces contra la enfermedad.

Abstract The evaluation of the expression of programmed cell death protein (PD-L1) is an eligibility criterion for anti-PD-L1 immunotherapy in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Other components of tissue microenvironment should also be evaluated. Here, four cases of oral squamous cells carcinoma were reported. Histopathological analysis of tumor grade and TILs and immunohistochemistry for CD4, CD8, and PD-L1 was done. The cases were classified according to the tissue microenvironment in adaptive immune resistance, immunological ignorance, tolerance, or intrinsic induction. This analysis highlights the importance of understanding the immunological microenvironment that the OSCC can present for the identification of more effective therapeutic targets against the disease.

Abstract Aim Based on a study comprising water reservoirs within the Brazilian Cerrado biome, we seek to answer the following question: how does phytoplankton communities respond to environmental, landscape, and spatial predictors? We expected local predictors to be the main factors structuring the communities. Since phytoplankton has high dispersal capacity, the geographical distance would be of minor importance. Methods: We collected phytoplankton samples from 40 water reservoirs in the rainy season and 37 reservoirs in the dry season. We performed a partial Redundancy Analysis (pRDA) to evaluate the factors influencing the variation in the composition of phytoplankton communities. Results We found that spatially structured environmental factors were controlling phytoplankton communities at the rainy season, whereas landscape was the main predictor in the dry season. On the other hand, phytoplankton morphofunctional groups were influenced only by local predictors. Conclusions We demonstrated that phytoplankton dynamics differs between rainy and dry seasons, and that distinct predictors affect phytoplankton communities over seasons.

Resumo Objetivo Com base em um estudo envolvendo reservatórios de água no bioma Cerrado brasileiro, buscamos responder a seguinte questão: como a comunidade fitoplanctônica responde a preditores ambientais, uso e ocupação do solo (paisagem) e preditores espaciais? Esperávamos que os preditores locais fossem os principais fatores estruturantes da comunidade. Como os organismos fitoplanctônicos têm grande capacidade de dispersão, a distância geográfica seria de menor importância. Métodos Coletamos amostras de fitoplâncton de 40 reservatórios de água na estação chuvosa e em 37 reservatórios na estação seca. Realizamos uma Análise de Redundância Parcial (pRDA) para avaliar os fatores que influenciam a variação na composição das comunidades fitoplanctônicas. Resultados Na estação chuvosa, encontramos sinais de que fatores ambientais espacialmente estruturados estavam controlando as comunidades fitoplanctônica, enquanto a paisagem foi o principal preditor na estação seca. Por outro lado, os grupos morfofuncionais do fitoplâncton foram influenciados apenas por preditores locais. Conclusões Demonstramos que a dinâmica das comunidades fitoplanctônicas difere na estação chuvosa e seca e que diferentes preditores afetam o fitoplâncton ao longo das estações do ano.

Abstract Background Cardiovascular complications of COVID-19 are important aspects of the disease’s pathogenesis and prognosis. Evidence on the prognostic role of troponin and myocardial injury in Latin American hospitalized COVID-19 patients is still scarce. Objectives To evaluate myocardial injury as independent predictor of in-hospital mortality and invasive mechanical ventilation support in hospitalized patients, from the Brazilian COVID-19 Registry. Methods This cohort study is a substudy of the Brazilian COVID-19 Registry, conducted in 31 Brazilian hospitals of 17 cities, March-September 2020. Primary outcomes included in-hospital mortality and invasive mechanical ventilation support. Models for the primary outcomes were estimated by Poisson regression with robust variance, with statistical significance of p<0.05. Results Of 2,925 patients (median age of 60 years [48-71], 57.1% men), 27.3% presented myocardial injury. The proportion of patients with comorbidities was higher among patients with cardiac injury (median 2 [1-2] vs. 1 [0-2]). Patients with myocardial injury had higher median levels of brain natriuretic peptide, lactate dehydrogenase, creatine phosphokinase, N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide, and C-reactive protein than patients without myocardial injury. As independent predictors, C-reactive protein and platelet counts were related to the risk of death, and neutrophils and platelet counts were related to the risk of invasive mechanical ventilation support. Patients with high troponin levels presented a higher risk of death (RR 2.03, 95% CI 1.60-2.58) and invasive mechanical ventilation support (RR 1.87, 95% CI 1.57-2.23), when compared to those with normal troponin levels. Conclusion Cardiac injury was an independent predictor of in-hospital mortality and the need for invasive mechanical ventilation support in hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

Resumo Fundamento As complicações cardiovasculares da COVID-19 são aspectos importantes da patogênese e do prognóstico da doença. Evidências do papel prognóstico da troponina e da lesão miocárdica em pacientes hospitalizados com COVID-19 na América Latina são ainda escassos. Objetivos Avaliar a lesão miocárdica como preditor independente de mortalidade hospitalar e suporte ventilatório mecânico em pacientes hospitalizados, do registro brasileiro de COVID-19. Métodos Este estudo coorte é um subestudo do registro brasileiro de COVID-19, conduzido em 31 hospitais brasileiros de 17 cidades, de março a setembro de 2020. Os desfechos primários incluíram mortalidade hospitalar e suporte ventilatório mecânico invasivo. Os modelos para os desfechos primários foram estimados por regressão de Poisson com variância robusta, com significância estatística de p<0,05. Resultados Dos 2925 pacientes [idade mediana de 60 anos (48-71), 57,1%], 27,3% apresentaram lesão miocárdica. A proporção de pacientes com comorbidades foi maior nos pacientes com lesão miocárdica [mediana 2 (1-2) vs. 1 (0-20)]. Os pacientes com lesão miocárdica apresentaram maiores valores medianos de peptídeo natriurético cerebral, lactato desidrogenase, creatina fosfoquinase, N-terminal do pró-peptídeo natriurético tipo B e proteína C reativa em comparação a pacientes sem lesão miocárdica. Como fatores independentes, proteína C reativa e contagem de plaquetas foram relacionados com o risco de morte, e neutrófilos e contagem de plaquetas foram relacionados ao risco de suporte ventilatório mecânico invasivo. Os pacientes com níveis elevados de troponina apresentaram um maior risco de morte (RR 2,03, IC95% 1,60-2,58) e suporte ventilatório mecânico (RR 1,87;IC95% 1,57-2,23), em comparação àqueles com níveis de troponina normais. Conclusão Lesão cardíaca foi um preditor independente de mortalidade hospitalar e necessidade de suporte ventilatório mecânico em pacientes hospitalizados com COVID-19.

Abstract Fetal bovine serum (FBS) is the most used supplement in culture media; however, it may interfere with in vitro assays via effects on cell proliferation and cytokine production. The ideal FBS concentration for assays using apical papilla cells (APCs) remains unknown. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the effects of FBS on APC activation, cell viability/proliferation, and cytokine production. Methodology Human APCs were cultured, plated, and maintained in media containing increasing concentrations of FBS for 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, 7 days, and 14 days in the presence of Lipopolysaccharide (LPS - 1 µg/mL). At each time point, the cells were subjected to the MTT assay. The cytokines transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1, osteoprotegerin (OPG), and interleukin (IL)-6, along with the chemokine CCL2, were quantified using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay at the 24-h time-point. Statistical analysis was performed using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's post-hoc test (p<0.05). Results In general, APCs exhibited increasing metabolic activity in an FBS concentration-dependent fashion, regardless of the presence of LPS. In contrast, FBS interfered with the production of all the cytokines evaluated in this study, affecting the response induced by the presence of LPS. Conclusion FBS increased APC metabolism in a concentration-dependent manner and differentially affected the production of TGF-β1, OPG, IL-6, and CCL2 by APCs in vitro.

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study, carried out at the university hospital of the Federal University of Rio Grande, was to assess whether the treatment of chronic hepatitis C with direct-acting antivirals and the sustained virological response will affect the metabolic influences of the hepatitis C virus and whether these effects will vary according to genotypes and virus load. METHODS: This is an intervention pre-post study, carried out from March 2018 to December 2019, evaluating 273 hepatitis C virus patients treated with direct-acting antivirals. Inclusion criteria included being monoinfected with hepatitis C virus and achieving sustained virological response . Exclusion criteria included the presence of decompensated cirrhosis or co-infected with hepatitis B virus or human immunodeficiency virus. Genotypes, genotype 1 subtypes, and hepatitis C virus viral load were analyzed. Glucose metabolism was evaluated by the Homeostasis Model Assessment-insulin resistance indices: Homeostasis Model Assessment-β, TyG, and HbA1c, measured at the beginning of treatment and in sustained virological response. Statistical analysis with a T test by paired comparison of the means of the variables in the pretreatment and in the sustained virological response. RESULTS: Homeostasis Model Assessment-insulin resistance analysis: there were no significant differences between pretreatment and sustained virological response. Homeostasis Model Assessment-β analysis: significant increase in genotype 1 patients (p<0.028). TyG index analysis: significant increase in genotype 1b (p<0.017), genotype 3 (p<0.024), and genotype non-1 with low viral load (p<0.039). HbA1c analysis: significant decrease in genotype 3 (p<0.001) and genotype non-1 patients with low viral load (p<0.005). CONCLUSION: We detected significant metabolic influences after sustained virological response: impairment in lipid profile and improvements in the glucose metabolism. We found significant differences in genotype dependence, genotype 1 subtypes, and viral load.

ABSTRACT This article aims to analyze the Brazilian academic publications on fights and Physical Education. We used content analysis through a state of knowledge, with 38 articles as corpus. As results we built four empirical analytical categories: 1) Space and sociocultural aspects: they point the lack of infrastructure and the scarcity of materials as restrictive factors for the approach of the fight contents in schools; 2) Technologies/media: that serve as auxiliary tools for the inclusion of fights in school Physical Education; 3) Physical Education curriculum: addresses issues related to content, culture, documents and teachers; and 4) Pedagogical practice: which involves more specific issues observed in the studies, such as methodologies involving the application of the content to classes, experiences, dimensions of the content, activities and implications about the themes discussed in the content, such as the association with violence, gender discrimination and sexuality. We conclude that the studies show that the approach of fights as content in schools is still incipient, being the insecurity of the teacher a preponderant factor so that fights are not inserted. Thus, studies indicate the need to create materials and methodologies that help teachers, thus enabling the use of content already consolidated in the literature.

RESUMO Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as publicações acadêmicas brasileiras sobre lutas e Educação Física. Utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo por meio de revisão narrativa, com 38 artigos como corpus. Como resultado construímos quatro categorias analíticas empíricas: 1) Espaço e aspectos socioculturais: apontam a falta de infraestrutura e a escassez de materiais como fatores restritivos para a abordagem dos conteúdos de luta nas escolas; 2) Tecnologias/mídias: que servem como ferramentas de auxílio para a inclusão das lutas na Educação Física escolar; 3) Currículo de Educação Física: aborda questões relacionadas a conteúdo, cultura, documentos e professores e 4) Prática pedagógica: que envolve questões mais específicas observadas nos estudos, como metodologias que envolvem a aplicação do conteúdo às aulas, vivências, dimensões do conteúdo, atividades e implicações sobre os temas discutidos no conteúdo, como a associação com a violência, a discriminação de gênero e a sexualidade. Concluímos que os estudos mostram que a abordagem das lutas como conteúdo nas escolas ainda é incipiente, sendo a insegurança do professor fator preponderante para que as lutas não sejam inseridas. Dessa forma, estudos indicam a necessidade de criar materiais e metodologias que auxiliem os professores, possibilitando assim a utilização de conteúdos já consolidados na literatura.

Aim to evaluate the clinical efficacy of an acetaminophen analgesic by comparing its prescription in fixed versus on-demand schedules after periodontal surgery. The hypothesis of the study was that the fixed regimen would be more effective than the on-demand regimen for postoperative analgesics following periodontal surgery. Methods An open randomized clinical trial was conducted. The 68 patients who needed total flap surgery to restore supracrestal tissue attachment or surgical treatment of periodontitis were randomized”. Visual Analogue Scale was used to assess pain. The fixed group (n = 34) received 500 mg of acetaminophen every 4 hours for 2 days. The on-demand group (n = 34) was instructed to use the acetaminophen “as needed,” at intervals of no less than 4 hours between doses. Ibuprofen was the rescue medication for both groups. Pain scores and medication use were recorded 2, 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours after the surgical procedure. The study was registered at the Brazilian Registry of Clinical Trials under RBR-7wv259. Results The two groups did not differ in relation to the frequency or the intensity of pain in a 48-hour period (n=20 in the fixed group, and n=22 in the on-demand group), or even in the intention-to-treat (n=34 in each group). Individuals who experienced moderate to severe pain used rescue medication more frequently in both groups. No adverse events were reported. Conclusion Both regimens were effective in controlling postoperative pain after periodontal surgery.

ABSTRACT Objective: COVID-19 has been associated with a significant burden to those who survive the acute phase. We aimed to describe the quality of life and symptoms of anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at 90 days after hospital discharge of COVID-19 patients. Methods: Patients with COVID-19 admitted to a private hospital in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, between April of 2020 and April of 2021 were interviewed by telephone at 30 and 90 days after discharge to assess the quality of life and symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Results: A total of 2,138 patients were included. The mean age was 58.6 ± 15.8 years, and the median length of hospital stay was 9.0 (5.0-15.8) days. Between the two time points, depression increased from 3.1% to 7.2% (p < 0.001), anxiety increased from 3.2% to 6.2% (p < 0.001), and PTSD increased from 2.3% to 5.0% (p < 0.001). At least one physical symptom related to COVID-19 diagnosis persisted in 32% of patients at day 90. Conclusions: Persistence of physical symptoms was high even at 90 days after discharge. Although the prevalence of symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD was low, these symptoms persisted for three months, with a significant increase between the time points. This finding indicates the need to identify at-risk patients so that they can be given an appropriate referral at discharge.

RESUMO Objetivo: A COVID-19 tem sido associada a um fardo significativo para aqueles que sobrevivem à fase aguda. Nosso objetivo foi descrever a qualidade de vida e sintomas de ansiedade, depressão e transtorno de estresse pós-traumático (TEPT) 90 dias após a alta hospitalar em pacientes com COVID-19. Métodos: Pacientes com COVID-19 internados em um hospital privado na cidade de São Paulo (SP) entre abril de 2020 e abril de 2021 foram entrevistados por telefone 30 e 90 dias após a alta para avaliar a qualidade de vida e sintomas de depressão, ansiedade e TEPT. Resultados: Foram incluídos 2.138 pacientes. A média de idade foi de 58,6 ± 15,8 anos, e a mediana do tempo de internação hospitalar foi de 9,0 (5,0-15,8) dias. Entre os dois momentos, a depressão aumentou de 3,1% para 7,2% (p < 0,001), a ansiedade, de 3,2% para 6,2% (p < 0,001), e o TEPT, de 2,3% para 5,0% (p < 0,001). Pelo menos um sintoma físico relacionado ao diagnóstico de COVID-19 persistia em 32% dos pacientes no 90º dia. Conclusões: A persistência dos sintomas físicos foi elevada mesmo 90 dias após a alta. Embora a prevalência de sintomas de ansiedade, depressão e TEPT tenha sido baixa, esses sintomas persistiram por três meses, com aumento significativo entre os momentos. Esse achado indica a necessidade de identificar os pacientes de risco para que possam receber o encaminhamento adequado no momento da alta.

Abstract This article aims to understand representations of cultural consumption experiences performed by posting images on Social Networking Platforms (SNP) by lower-class individuals who visited the National Museum/UFRJ. The study was carried out employing ethnographic-inspired research, which comprised the stages of participant observation in the exhibitions, interviews with visitors, and digital observation of their publications in SNP. Among the results achieved, it is possible to highlight that the publications largely reflect practices and values that already existed before the so-called “digital life,” such as the importance of kinship and bonds of friendship in everyday relationships.

Resumen Este artículo tiene como objetivo comprender representaciones de las experiencias de consumo cultural realizadas a través de la publicación de imágenes en redes sociales por individuos de clases populares que realizaron una visita al Museo Nacional/UFRJ, en Río de Janeiro. El estudio fue realizado por medio de investigación de inspiración etnográfica que comprendió las etapas de observación participante en las exposiciones, entrevistas con los visitantes y la observación digital de sus publicaciones en las redes sociales. Entre los resultados alcanzados, es posible destacar que las publicaciones realizadas en las redes sociales reflejan, en gran parte, prácticas y valores ya existentes antes del surgimiento de la llamada “vida digital”, como la importancia del parentesco y de los lazos de amistad en las relaciones cotidianas.

Resumo Este artigo tem como objetivo compreender representações das experiências de consumo cultural realizadas através de postagem de imagens em mídias sociais por indivíduos de classes populares que realizaram uma visita ao Museu Nacional/UFRJ, no Rio de Janeiro. O estudo foi realizado por meio de pesquisa de inspiração etnográfica, que compreendeu as etapas de observação participante nas exposições, entrevistas com os visitantes e observação digital de suas publicações em mídias sociais. Entre os resultados alcançados, é possível destacar que as publicações realizadas nas mídias sociais refletem, em grande parte, práticas e valores já existentes antes do surgimento da chamada “vida digital”, como a importância do parentesco e dos laços de amizade nas relações cotidianas.

Abstract The Advisory Commission for Psychological Assessment of the Federal Council of Psychology discusses, on its 20th anniversary, the possible and still effectively unknown effects of the Direct Action of Unconstitutionality (DAU) 3481, following the Supreme Federal Court, which interrupted how psychological tests were marketed in Brazil. The free trade of psychological tests puts the safety of psychological assessments at risk, and this professional category must think of strategies to face these risks. This study discusses the possible effects of DAU 3481 for professional psychology and for society in general, listing possible strategies for coping with these risks without disregarding its ethical aspects. Thus, this study seeks to problematize the effects derived from DAU 3481 and think of solutions or alternatives that may redirect the trajectory of the field of psychological assessment in Brazil, thus opening a space for discussion and referrals professional psychology will require in the coming years.

Resumen La Comisión Consultiva en Evaluación Psicológica (CCEP) del Consejo Federal de Psicología (CFP), en su 20.º aniversario, propone discutir los posibles efectos aún efectivamente desconocidos de la Acción Directa de Inconstitucionalidad (ADI) 3481, determinada por el Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), por la cual trastornó la forma de comercializar las pruebas psicológicas en Brasil. La comercialización sin restricciones de las pruebas psicológicas pone en riesgo la seguridad de las evaluaciones psicológicas, y le corresponde a la categoría profesional pensar estrategias para enfrentar estos riesgos. En este artículo se discuten los posibles efectos de la ADI 3481 para la categoría profesional de la Psicología, así como para la sociedad en general, pero también se enumeran posibles estrategias para el enfrentamiento de estos riesgos, sin descuidar los aspectos éticos relacionados con ellos. Así, este manuscrito busca, además de problematizar los efectos derivados de la ADI 3481, pensar en soluciones o alternativas que puedan reconducir la trayectoria del campo de la evaluación psicológica en Brasil. Esto abre un espacio de discusión y derivaciones que la categoría profesional deberá tomar en los próximos años.

Resumo A Comissão Consultiva em Avaliação Psicológica (CCAP) do Conselho Federal de Psicologia (CFP), em seu 20º aniversário, vem discutir os possíveis efeitos, ainda efetivamente desconhecidos, da Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade (ADI) 3481, instruída no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), a qual desestruturou o modo como os testes psicológicos eram comercializados no Brasil. A livre comercialização de testes psicológicos coloca em risco a segurança de avaliações psicológicas e cabe à categoria profissional pensar estratégias de enfrentamento desses riscos. Neste artigo, são discutidos possíveis efeitos da ADI 3481 para a categoria profissional da psicologia, bem como para a sociedade em geral, e são também elencadas possíveis estratégias de enfrentamento desses riscos, sem desconsiderar aspectos éticos relacionados a eles. Dessa forma, busca-se neste manuscrito, além da problematização dos efeitos derivados da ADI 3481, pensar soluções ou alternativas que venham a redirecionar a trajetória da área da avaliação psicológica no Brasil. Com isso, abre-se um espaço de discussão e encaminhamentos que a categoria profissional precisará tomar nos próximos anos.

Abstract Polyphenolics from Rhizophora mangle (R. mangle) have shown wound healing and anti- inflammatory effects that may be potentiated by being associated with ascorbic acid, an important substance for collagen and elastin synthesis that plays a role in tissue repair. In our study, we aimed to formulate an association of R. mangle and ascorbic acid in hydrogels and evaluate the association’s cytotoxic and immunomodulatory effects. In a pre-formulation study, three gelling polymers (i.e.xanthan gum, poloxamer and hydroxyethyl cellulose) were tested. The selected polymer (i.e. xanthan gum) was used to evaluate cytotoxic and immunomodulatory effects using flow cytometry. Xanthan gum (1.5%) had a homogeneous appearance, an orange colour, a smooth surface, intense brightness and the typical odour, as well as non-Newtonian pseudoplastic behaviour. With a pH of 5.0-5.3 and a non-cytotoxic profile, xanthan gum induced the proliferation and activation of CD4 +, CD8+ and NK T lymphocytes and the production of IL- 2, IL-4, IL-10, IL-17 and TNF-α cytokines in stimulated splenocytes. The results suggest that the association of R. mangle and ascorbic acid in 1.5% xanthan gum hydrogel may be promising in preparations for wound-healing processes.

Resumo Objetivo Conhecer o comportamento empoderador do enfermeiro em sua prática gerencial no contexto da Atenção Primária à Saúde. Métodos Pesquisa exploratória de caráter qualitativo realizada com enfermeiros-gerentes que atuam em Unidades Básicas de Saúde em um município do estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Foram conduzidas entrevistas semiestruturadas para coleta de dados e o conteúdo das entrevistas foi transcrito na íntegra. Utilizou-se a saturação teórica de dados para o encerramento da coleta que se deu no sétimo participante. O referencial da análise de conteúdo guiou a organização do corpus qualitativo em temas e subtemas. Resultados O enfermeiro-gerente como líder utiliza do comportamento empoderador para interpretar suas percepções e suas atitudes, para influenciar positivamente o trabalho em equipe e mediar conflitos. Dimensionamento de pessoal e dificuldades em realizar reuniões de equipe e em compartilhar os processos decisórios geram desafios que tensionam a efetivação do comportamento empoderador. Resumen Objetivo Conocer el comportamiento empoderador de los enfermeros en su práctica gerencial en el contexto de la Atención Primaria de Salud. Métodos Estudio exploratorio de carácter cualitativo realizado con enfermeros-gerentes que trabajan en Unidades Básicas de Salud en un municipio del estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Para la recopilación de datos, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y se transcribió su contenido completamente. Para finalizar la recopilación, se utilizó la saturación teórica de datos, que sucedió con el séptimo participante. El marco referencial del análisis de contenido guio la organización del corpus cualitativo en temas y subtemas. Resultados Los enfermeros-gerentes como líderes utilizan el comportamiento empoderador para interpretar sus percepciones y sus actitudes, para influir positivamente el trabajo en equipo y para mediar conflictos. El dimensionamiento del personal y las dificultades para realizar reuniones de equipo y compartir los procesos decisorios generan desafíos que tensionan la materialización del comportamiento empoderador. Conclusión Los aspectos relacionados con el trabajo gerencial del enfermero líder en las Unidades Básicas de Salud son percibidos como un comportamiento empoderador, y los desafíos para su materialización se relacionan con la organización y la planificación del proceso de trabajo de la Atención Primaria de Salud. enfermerosgerentes gerentes Paulo Brasil datos completamente participante subtemas actitudes conflictos

Abstract Objective To understand the empowering behavior of nurses in their management practice in the Primary Health Care context. Methods Exploratory qualitative study of nurse managers working in Basic Health Centers in a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Semi-structured interviews were conducted for data collection and the content of interviews was fully transcribed. Data collection was ended after reaching theoretical data saturation in the seventh participant. The content analysis framework guided the organization of the qualitative corpus into themes and sub-themes. Results As leaders, nurse managers use empowering behavior to interpret their perceptions and attitudes in order to positively influence teamwork and mediate conflicts. Staff sizing and difficulties in holding team meetings and sharing decision-making processes generate challenges that create tension in the implementation of empowering behavior. Resumo Enquadramento: As Rotações de Iniciação à Investigação (RII) enquadram-se no Eixo Estratégico de Desenvolvimento para a Formação de Investigadores da Unidade de Investigação em Ciências da Saúde: Enfermagem, no contexto das oportunidades da Janela do Jovem Investigador. Os estudantes do Curso de Licenciatura em Enfermagem (CLE) voluntariamente disponibilizam-se para desenvolver atividades de ligação do ensino à investigação integrando equipas de investigação. Objetivo: Analisar os resultados das cinco edições do Programa RII, envolvendo os estudantes do CLE (2014/2015-2018/2019). Principais tópicos em análise: Trinta e dois projetos de investigação acolheram 202 RII, das quais 133 foram concluídas com êxito. Para além das competências adquiridas em contexto de integração nas equipas dos projetos de investigação, os estudantes frequentaram nove atividades de formação promovidas para eles. Conclusão: As RII concluídas com sucesso são registadas no suplemento ao diploma. Apesar da limitada disponibilidade de tempo dos estudantes devido à exigência do plano curricular, estes têm avaliado esta experiência como muito positiva. A integração deste programa no plano curricular é um passo a promover no futuro.

Abstract Background: Research Initiation Rotations (RIRs) fall under the Development Strategic Axis for Researchers’ Training of the Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing as part of the Young Researcher Window opportunities. Undergraduate nursing students volunteer to integrate research teams that develop activities linking teaching and research. Objective: To analyze the results of the five editions of the RIR Program involving undergraduate nursing students (2014/2015 to 2018/2019). Main topics under analysis: Thirty-two research projects involved 202 RIRs, 133 of which were successfully completed. In addition to the skills acquired as part of the research project teams, students attended nine training activities that were specifically designed for them. Conclusion: Successfully completed RIRs are included in the diploma supplement. Despite the limited time available due to curriculum demands, students have rated this experience as very positive. The integration of this program into the curriculum is a step to be taken in the future.

Resumen Marco contextual: Las Rotaciones de Iniciación a la Investigación (RII) forman parte del Eje Estratégico de Desarrollo para la Formación de Investigadores de la Unidad de Investigación en Ciencias de la Salud: Enfermería, en el contexto de las oportunidades de la Ventana del Joven Investigador. Los estudiantes del Grado en Enfermería (CLE, en portugués) se ponen voluntariamente a disposición para desarrollar actividades que vinculen la docencia con la investigación, al formar parte de equipos de investigación. Objetivo: Analizar los resultados de las cinco ediciones del programa RII, con la participación de estudiantes del CLE (2014/2015-2018/2019). Principales temas en análisis: Treinta y dos proyectos de investigación acogieron 202 RII, de las cuales 133 se completaron satisfactoriamente. Además de las competencias adquiridas en el marco de la integración en los equipos de los proyectos de investigación, los estudiantes asistieron a nueve actividades de formación promovidas para ellos. Conclusión: Las RII concluidas satisfactoriamente se registran en el suplemento al título. A pesar de la escasa disponibilidad de tiempo de los estudiantes debido a las exigencias del plan curricular, han valorado esta experiencia como muy positiva. La integración de este programa en el plan curricular es un paso que se debe promover en el futuro.
