Resumo Introdução: As dificuldades alimentares na primeira infância estão entre as principais queixas dos pais e podem refletir características intrínsecas da criança ou um problema relacional. Estas dificuldades estão associadas a problemas subsequentes no desenvolvimento da criança, como problemas comportamentais, défices cognitivos e perturbações do comportamento alimentar. Materiais e Métodos: Foi realizada uma análise retrospetiva e descritiva dos dados sociodemográficos e clínicos de crianças com menos de seis anos de idade avaliadas em primeira consulta de Pedopsiquiatria de um hospital terciário por dificuldades alimentares entre janeiro de 2019 e maio de 2021. Crianças com diagnóstico ou suspeita de perturbação do espetro do autismo foram excluídas. Resultados: De um total de 647 crianças avaliadas, 57 (8,81%) foram classificadas como tendo dificuldades ou problemas alimentares. A mediana de idades foi de 24,5 meses. A seletividade alimentar foi o problema alimentar mais comum (45,6%), seguida de dificuldades na autorregulação durante as refeições (43,9%) e apetite reduzido (33,3%). Vinte e um por cento das mães apresentava antecedentes de perturbação depressiva e 7% apresentava antecedentes de perturbação de ansiedade. Quarenta e nove por cento das crianças incluídas no estudo apresentava padrões de interação com o cuidador principal preocupantes ou perturbados. Em 54% das crianças, a orientação terapêutica mais comum foi psicoterapia criança-cuidador. Conclusões: É necessária deteção e intervenção precoce para crianças com dificuldades alimentares. As perturbações alimentares são comuns na primeira infância e deve ser sempre considerada uma abordagem multidisciplinar das mesmas, uma vez que podem ter impacto em vários domínios do desenvolvimento e saúde da criança.

Abstract Introduction: Feeding difficulties in early childhood are among the most common problems reported by parents and may reflect the child’s own characteristics or a relational problem. They are associated with problems in later life, such as behavioral disorders, cognitive deficits, and eating disorders. Materials and Methods: This study was a retrospective, descriptive analysis of sociodemographic and clinical data of children under six years of age with feeding or eating problems evaluated at a first consultation in a child psychiatry unit of a tertiary hospital between January 2019 and May 2021. Children with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder were excluded. Results: Of a total of 647 children evaluated, 57 (8.81%) were classified as having feeding difficulties. Their median age was 24.5 months. Food selectivity was the most frequently reported problem (45.6%), followed by difficulties in self-regulation at mealtimes (43.9%) and decreased appetite (33.3%). Among the mothers, 21% had a history of depressive disorders and 7% had a history of anxiety disorders. Forty-nine percent of children had patterns of interaction with their primary caregiver that were considered worrisome or disruptive. Fifty-four percent of the therapeutic interventions provided were child-parent psychotherapy. Conclusions: Early identification and intervention are needed for children with feeding problems. Feeding problems are common in early childhood and a multidisciplinary approach must always be considered as they can affect several domains of the child’s health and development.

ABSTRACT Objective: To update the recommendations to support decisions regarding the pharmacological treatment of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in Brazil. Methods: Experts, including representatives of the Ministry of Health and methodologists, created this guideline. The method used for the rapid development of guidelines was based on the adoption and/or adaptation of existing international guidelines (GRADE ADOLOPMENT) and supported by the e-COVID-19 RecMap platform. The quality of the evidence and the preparation of the recommendations followed the GRADE method. Results: Twenty-one recommendations were generated, including strong recommendations for the use of corticosteroids in patients using supplemental oxygen and conditional recommendations for the use of tocilizumab and baricitinib for patients on supplemental oxygen or on noninvasive ventilation and anticoagulants to prevent thromboembolism. Due to suspension of use authorization, it was not possible to make recommendations regarding the use of casirivimab + imdevimab. Strong recommendations against the use of azithromycin in patients without suspected bacterial infection, hydroxychloroquine, convalescent plasma, colchicine, and lopinavir + ritonavir and conditional recommendations against the use of ivermectin and remdesivir were made. Conclusion: New recommendations for the treatment of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 were generated, such as those for tocilizumab and baricitinib. Corticosteroids and prophylaxis for thromboembolism are still recommended, the latter with conditional recommendation. Several drugs were considered ineffective and should not be used to provide the best treatment according to the principles of evidence-based medicine and to promote resource economy.

RESUMO Objetivo: Atualizar as recomendações para embasar as decisões para o tratamento farmacológico de pacientes hospitalizados com COVID-19 no Brasil. Métodos: A elaboração desta diretriz foi feita por especialistas, incluindo representantes do Ministério da Saúde e metodologistas. O método utilizado para o desenvolvimento rápido de diretrizes baseou-se na adoção e/ou adaptação de diretrizes internacionais existentes (GRADE ADOLOPMENT) e contou com o apoio da plataforma e-COVID-19 RecMap. A qualidade das evidências e a elaboração das recomendações seguiram o método GRADE. Resultados: Chegaram-se a 21 recomendações, incluindo recomendações fortes quanto ao uso de corticosteroides em pacientes em uso de oxigênio suplementar e recomendações condicionais para o uso de tocilizumabe e baricitinibe, em pacientes com oxigênio suplementar ou ventilação não invasiva, e de anticoagulantes, para prevenção de tromboembolismo. Devido à suspensão da autorização de uso, não foi possível fazer recomendações para o tratamento com casirivimabe + imdevimabe. Foram feitas recomendações fortes contra o uso de azitromicina em pacientes sem suspeita de infecção bacteriana, hidroxicloroquina, plasma convalescente, colchicina e lopinavir + ritonavir, além de recomendações condicionais contra o uso de ivermectina e rendesivir. Conclusão: Foram criadas novas recomendações para o tratamento de pacientes hospitalizados com COVID-19, como as recomendações de tocilizumabe e baricitinibe. Ainda são recomendados corticosteroides e profilaxia contra tromboembolismo, esta em caráter condicional. Vários medicamentos foram considerados ineficazes e não devem ser usados, no intuito de proporcionar o melhor tratamento segundo os princípios da medicina baseada em evidências e promover a economia de recursos.

Resumo As metástases para as glândulas salivares são raras, ocorrendo sobretudo de neoplasias da cabeça e do pescoço para a glândula parótida. Até ao momento apenas uma metástase na glândula sublingual foi reportada na literatura. Neste trabalho apresentamos o segundo caso, que ocorreu numa mulher na casa dos 50 anos, anteriormente diagnosticada com carcinoma metaplásico da mama (MpBC) com diferenciação condroide, e com metástases ganglionares e orgânicas difusas. A lesão sublingual surgiu como uma tumefação no pavimento da boca que causava desconforto na mastigação. Histologicamente era formada por células epiteliais com características citomorfológicas de alto grau, com uma área central condroide. O caso foi desafiante dada a raridade do tumor primário e o local improvável de metastização. Considerámos tumores primários da glândula salivar com diferenciação condroide como diagnósticos alternativos, mas a integração clínica foi crucial para estabelecer o diagnóstico de metástase de MpBC para a glândula sublingual.

Abstract Metastatic spread to the salivary glands is rare, occurring primarily from head and neck tumors to the parotid gland. So far, only one sublingual gland metastasis has been reported in the literature. We herein report the second case of metastasis to this gland occurring in a woman in her 50s, previously diagnosed with HER2-positive metaplastic breast carcinoma (MpBC) with chondroid differentiation, with lymph node and diffuse organ metastases. The sublingual lesion presented as a tumefaction on the floor of the mouth, causing masticatory discomfort. Histologically it was formed by epithelial cells with high-grade cytomorphological features with a large central area of chondroid differentiation. The case was clinically and pathologically challenging, given the rarity of the primary MpBC and the improbable secondary location. Alternative primary salivar gland tumors with chondroid differentiation were considered, but ultimately the clinical integration was crucial in establishing the diagnosis of MpBC metastasis to the sublingual gland.

ABSTRACT The insertion of the tree component in coffee production is a strategy from an economic and environmental perspective. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the temporal influence on the agronomic and productive performance of the coffee crop under the interference of different tree species as a function of spacing. The experiment was set in the municipality of Santo Antônio de Amparo-MG, in 2012, and conducted in a randomized block design with four replications. The treatments were: cultivar ‘Catuai Vermelho IAC 99’ in monoculture (3.40 m x 0.65 m) and intercropped with African mahogany, teak and pink cedar, in two spacings (9 x 13.6 m and 18 x 13.6 m), in coffee rows. Three coffee rows were fixed between rows, totaling 13.6 m. The following variables were evaluated: height (m), stem diameter (cm), crown diameter (m), productivity (bags ha-1) and yield (l/sc) for coffee. From the evaluations, there is a significant effect of height, productivity and yield for the coffee crop. The system intercropped with tree species did not influence coffee productivity and yield until the 3rd harvest and, for the 5th harvest, intercropping with mahogany favored productivity, although the accumulated productivity did not show any treatment effect.

Resumo O Brasil tem avançado em ações de controle do tabaco, resultando em grande declínio da prevalência de tabagismo. Entretanto, é fundamental identificar populações mais vulneráveis, como as pessoas LGBT. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a produção discursiva que sustenta a busca de apoio e penetração da indústria tabageira junto à população LGBT, tomando o caso do patrocínio da Philip Morris Brasil à parada LGBT em São Paulo em 2019. A metodologia utilizada foi análise de discurso Crítica de notícia publicada em um blog. A análise da peça aponta para utilização de vocabulários como diversidade, inclusão, modernidade e inovação, que dizem respeito à causa LGBT e ao lançamento de novo produto. O texto traz alto grau de comprometimento e tom cortês, fazendo uso de recursos discursivos que associam a empresa às ideias de inovação técnica e comportamental. Comunica intertextualmente com órgãos regulatórios acerca da entrada no mercado brasileiro de seu novo produto (proibido no Brasil). Faz uso de diferentes operadores ideológicos, como o eufemismo do futuro sem fumaça ou futuro livre de fumaça. O trabalho apresenta uma estratégia da indústria do tabaco para promover seu produto de tabaco aquecido enquanto apoia a causa LGBT e promove imagem corporativa positiva.

Abstract Brazil has advanced in tobacco control actions, with a significant decline in the prevalence of tobacco use. However, it is essential to identify more vulnerable populations, such as LGBT persons. This study aimed to analyze the discursive production sustaining the search for support and penetration of the tobacco industry among the LGBT population, taking the sponsorship of Philip Morris Brasil to the LGBT parade in São Paulo in 2019. We employed the critical discourse analysis of a report published on a blog. The analysis of the piece points to the use of vocabularies such as diversity, inclusion, modernity, and innovation, which concern the LGBT cause and the launch of its new product. The text conveys a high commitment and a courteous tone, using discursive resources that associate the company with technical and behavioral innovation ideas. It communicates intertextually with regulatory bodies about introducing its new product in the Brazilian market (prohibited in Brazil). It uses different ideological operators, such as the euphemism of the smokeless or smoke-free future. The work shows a tobacco industry strategy to promote its heated product while supporting LGBT cause and promoting a positive corporate image.

Abstract The ora-pro-nóbis (Pereskia aculeata Miller) is a cactus popularly known as “poor man's meat” due to its popular use related to the protein content found in its leaves and its low cost, thus being classified as an Unconventional Food Plant (UFP). The plant is recognized for the high nutritional value of their leaves, and it can be used in cooking and folk medicine. However, studies on the chemical characteristics and antioxidant capacity of ora-pro-nóbis fruits are scarce. This study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant potential and phenolic compounds of the stem and leaf flours and fruit pulp of P. aculeata Miller. The stem and leaves were washed and dried in a circulation oven at 60° ± 2 °C, and crushed in an industrial blender. The fruit was washed and macerated in natura, then hydroethanolic extracts were prepared. The content of phenolic compounds was evaluated using the Folin-Ciocalteau reagent and the results showed a total phenol content in the stem, leaves and fruits of 0.25; 1.01 and 118.2 mg EAG g-1 of extract, respectively. Antioxidants were evaluated using the DPPH method, obtaining values for stem, leaf and fruit of 1.20; 1.40 and 1.50 mg of fruit g-1 of DPPH respectively, and also by the ABTS method of stem, leaf and fruit of:13.82; 6.30; 3.20 µmol of Trolox g-1, respectively. Thus, P. aculeata Miller presented in its stem, leaves and fruits an expressive amount of phenolic and antioxidant compounds, being a potential resource to contribute to the prevention of several disorders associated with the production of free radicals as well as an alternative in the enrichment of foods and being a useful source for a food additive.

Resumo A ora-pro-nóbis (Pereskia aculeata Miller) é uma cactácea popularmente conhecida como “carne de pobre” devido ao seu uso popular pelo teor de proteína encontrado em suas folhas e seu baixo custo, sendo classificada como uma planta alimentícia não convencional (PANC). A planta é reconhecida pelo alto valor nutritivo das folhas, a parte mais utilizada na culinária e na medicina popular. Entretanto, trabalhos sobre as características químicas e a capacidade antioxidante dos frutos de ora-pro-nóbis são escassos. Objetivou-se com este estudo avaliar o potencial antioxidante e os compostos fenólicos das farinhas do caule e da folha, e da polpa do fruto da P. aculeata Miller. O caule e as folhas foram lavados e secos em estufa de circulação a 60°± 2 °C, e triturados em liquidificador industrial. O fruto foi lavado e macerado in natura e, em seguida, foram feitos extratos hidroetanólicos. O teor de compostos fenólicos foi avaliado utilizando o reagente de Folin- Ciocalteau e os resultados demonstraram um teor de fenóis totais no caule, nas folhas e nos frutos de 0,25, 1,01 e 118,2 mg EAG g-1 de extrato, respectivamente. Os antioxidantes foram avaliados através do método de DPPH, obtendo-se os valores para caule, folha e fruto de 1,20, 1,40 e 1,50 mg de fruta g-1 de DPPH, respectivamente, e pelo método ABTS, para caule, folha e fruto, os valores de 13,82, 6,30 e 3,20 µmol de Trolox g-1, respectivamente. Desta forma, a P. aculeata Miller apresenta, em seu caule, suas folhas e seus frutos, uma expressiva quantidade de compostos fenólico e antioxidante, sendo um recurso potencial para contribuir para a prevenção de diversos distúrbios associados com a produção de radicais livres e uma alternativa no enriquecimento de alimentos e na alimentação saudável, podendo ser um potencial aditivo alimentar.

ABSTRACT: Glanders is a contagious zoonotic infectious disease characterized by an acute or chronic condition that mainly affects equids and is caused by Burkholderia (B.) mallei. From January 2005 to December 2017, 697 farms with positive cases of this disease were registered in Brazil, with the Northeast region accounting for 61.4% (428/697) of the total number of cases. This study conducted an epidemiological study of B. mallei infections that occurred in farms in the states of Pernambuco, Paraíba, Ceará and Alagoas. For this purpose, investigative questionnaires were applied to six farms where there were outbreaks of glanders and 11 farms where there were no reports of glanders between 2017 and 2021, and statistical analysis of the factors associated with the occurrence of glanders in Northeastern Brazil was performed. Factors such as the purpose of rearing (P = 0.023), lack of information on disease transmission modes (P = 0.034), failure to carry out periodic tests for glanders diagnosis (P = 0,029), no request for glanders tests prior to the purchase of new animals periodic tests for glanders diagnosis (P = 0.029), not requiring a negative test for glanders in the acquisition of animals (P = 0.06), use of extensive breeding systems(P = 0.027), and poor stall hygiene were associated with disease occurrence (P = 0.001). Understanding the factors related to the occurrence of glanders in the Northeast Region of Brazil helps to establish management measures that minimize bacteria transmission, thereby reducing the number of cases in the region and economic losses associated with glanders.

RESUMO: O mormo é uma doença infectocontagiosa, zoonótica, de caráter agudo ou crônico, que acomete principalmente os equídeos, causado por Burkholderia (B.) mallei. De janeiro de 2005 até dezembro de 2017, 697 focos da doença foram registrados no Brasil, sendo que a região Nordeste detém 61,4% (428/697) do total de focos. Objetivou-se realizar um estudo epidemiológico da infecção por Burkholderia mallei em propriedades nos estados de Pernambuco, Paraíba, Ceará e Alagoas. Para tal foi aplicado questionário investigativo em seis fazendas onde houve caso de Mormo e 11 fazendas em que não houve relato entre 2007 e 2011 e realizada análise estatística dos fatores de manejo associados à ocorrência do Mormo no Nordeste do Brasil. Observou-se associação significativa para as seguintes variáveis: objetivo da criação (comércio, esporte e trabalho nas fazendas) (P = 0,023); ausência de informação sobre as formas de transmissão da bactéria (P = 0,034); não realização de exames periódicos para o diagnóstico do mormo (P = 0,029); exigência de exame negativo na compra de equinos (P = 0,06); utilização do sistema de criação extensivo (P = 0,027) e deficiência de higienização das baias (P = 001). Os resultados obtidos devem ser utilizados na implementação de medidas de manejo que minimizem o risco de transmissão da bactéria, reduzindo os casos da doença na região e as perdas econômicas com o mormo.

ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze the relationship between one-minute sit-to-stand test (1MSTST) parameters and a diagnosis of post COVID-19 condition in a cohort of patients who previously had COVID-19. Methods: This was a prospective cohort study of patients with post COVID-19 condition referred for body plethysmography at a tertiary university hospital. Post COVID-19 condition was defined in accordance with the current WHO criteria. Results: Fifty-three patients were analyzed. Of those, 25 (47.2%) met the clinical criteria for post COVID-19 condition. HR was lower in the patients with post COVID-19 condition than in those without it at 30 s after initiation of the 1MSTST (86.2 ± 14.3 bpm vs. 101.2 ± 14.7 bpm; p < 0.001) and at the end of the test (94.4 ± 18.2 bpm vs. 117.3 ± 15.3 bpm; p < 0.001). The ratio between HR at the end of the 1MSTST and age-predicted maximal HR (HRend/HRmax) was lower in the group of patients with post COVID-19 condition (p < 0.001). An HRend/HRmax of < 62.65% showed a sensitivity of 78.6% and a specificity of 82.0% for post COVID-19 condition. Mean SpO2 at the end of the 1MSTST was lower in the patients with post COVID-19 condition than in those without it (94.9 ± 3.6% vs. 96.8 ± 2.4%; p = 0.030). The former group of patients did fewer repetitions on the 1MSTST than did the latter (p = 0.020). Conclusions: Lower SpO2 and HR at the end of the 1MSTST, as well as lower HR at 30 s after initiation of the test, were associated with post COVID-19 condition. In the appropriate clinical setting, an HRend/HRmax of < 62.65% should raise awareness for the possibility of post COVID-19 condition.

RESUMO Objetivo: Analisar a relação entre parâmetros do teste de se sentar e levantar durante um minuto (TSL1) e o diagnóstico de síndrome pós-COVID-19 em uma coorte de pacientes que anteriormente apresentaram COVID-19. Métodos: Estudo prospectivo de coorte de pacientes com síndrome pós-COVID-19 encaminhados para realizar pletismografia corporal em um hospital universitário terciário. A síndrome pós-COVID-19 foi definida conforme os critérios atuais da OMS. Resultados: Foram analisados 53 pacientes. Destes, 25 (47,2%) preencheram os critérios clínicos de síndrome pós-COVID-19. A FC foi menor nos pacientes com síndrome pós-COVID-19 do que naqueles sem a síndrome 30 s após o início do TSL1 (86,2 ± 14,3 bpm vs. 101,2 ± 14,7 bpm; p < 0,001) e no fim do teste (94,4 ± 18,2 bpm vs. 117,3 ± 15,3 bpm; p < 0,001). A relação entre a FC no fim do TSL1 e a FC máxima prevista para a idade (FCfim/FCmáx) foi menor nos pacientes com síndrome pós-COVID-19 (p < 0,001). A relação FCfim/FCmáx < 62,65% apresentou sensibilidade de 78,6% e especificidade de 82,0% para síndrome pós-COVID-19. A média da SpO2 no fim do TSL1 foi menor nos pacientes com síndrome pós-COVID-19 do que naqueles sem a síndrome (94,9 ± 3,6% vs. 96,8 ± 2,4%; p = 0,030). Os pacientes com síndrome pós-COVID-19 realizaram menos repetições durante o TSL1 do que os sem a síndrome (p = 0,020). Conclusões: SpO2 e FC mais baixas no fim do TSL1 e FC mais baixa 30 s após o início do teste apresentaram relação com síndrome pós-COVID-19. No contexto clínico apropriado, a relação FCfim/FCmáx < 62,65% deve alertar para a possibilidade de síndrome pós-COVID-19.

Abstract Objectives: Determine the frequency of dermatological diagnoses in preterm newborns up to 28 days of life and associated perinatal factors. Method: a cross-sectional analytical study with a convenience sample and prospective data collection, was conducted between November 2017 and August 2019. Overall, 341 preterm newborns who had been admitted to a University hospital – including those admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – were evaluated. Results: 61 (17.9%) had less than 32 weeks gestational age (GA), with a mean GA and birth weight of 33.9 ± 2.8 weeks and 2107.8 ± 679.8g (465 to 4230g), respectively. The median age at the time of evaluation was 2.9 days (4 h to 27 days). The frequency of dermatological diagnoses was 100% and 98.5% of the sample had two or more, with an average of 4.67 +1.53 dermatoses for each newborn. The 10 most frequent diagnoses were lanugo (85.9%), salmon patch (72.4%), sebaceous hyperplasia (68.6%), physiological desquamation (54.8%), dermal melanocytosis (38.7%), Epstein pearls (37.2%), milia (32.2%), traumatic skin lesions (24%), toxic erythema (16.7%), and contact dermatitis (5%). Those with GA< 28 weeks showed more traumatic injuries and abrasions, whereas those with ≥ 28 weeks had physiological changes more frequently, and those with GA between 34-366/7 weeks, had transient changes. Conclusion: Dermatological diagnoses were frequent in our sample and those with higher GA showed a higher frequency of physiological (lanugo and salmon patch) and transient changes (toxic erythema and miliaria). Traumatic lesions and contact dermatitis were among the 10 most frequent injuries, reinforcing the need to effectively implement neonatal skin care protocols, especially in preterm.

ABSTRACT The paper presents part of the results of a case study on the judicialization of vacancies in full-time early childhood education held in the municipality of Vitória-ES. It aims to discuss the decisions made by the Municipal Department of Education and the Legal System in relation to the demands promoted by families who request vacancies for their children in public institutions of full-time early childhood education. It adopts a documentary analysis of educational legislation of Vitória-ES, as well as judicial and extrajudicial proceedings impetrated in the period 2016 to 2019. It uses the software Nvivo to assist and organize data analysis. The outcomes indicate that most of the lawsuits are rejected due to a tension in the field of early childhood education due to the lack of mandatory full-time care and the priority assumed with part-time preschool. It is concluded that the commitment to the right to education of young children is not limited only directly to the demandant families for this right, nor in isolation to the decisions of the Municipal Education Department or the Legal System, but it is a political issue that concerns everyone, which presupposes the establishment of a public dialogue between the various agents.

RESUMO Este artigo expõe parte dos resultados de um estudo de caso sobre a judicialização de vagas na educação infantil em tempo integral realizado no município de Vitória-ES. Tem por objetivo discorrer sobre as decisões proferidas pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação e pelo Sistema de Justiça em relação às demandas promovidas pelas famílias que solicitam vagas para seus filhos nas instituições públicas de educação infantil em tempo integral. Adota uma análise documental de legislações educacionais de Vitória-ES, bem como de processos judiciais e extrajudiciais impetrados no período de 2016 a 2019. Utiliza o software Nvivo para auxílio e organização da análise dos dados. Os resultados indicam que a maioria dos pleitos são indeferidos em função de um tensionamento no campo da educação infantil devido à não obrigatoriedade do atendimento em tempo integral e à prioridade assumida com a pré-escola em tempo parcial. Conclui-se que o compromisso pelo direito à educação das crianças pequenas não se resume às famílias demandantes diretas por esse direito, nem isoladamente às decisões da Secretaria Municipal de Educação ou do Sistema de Justiça, mas configura uma questão política que diz respeito a todos, o que pressupõe a constituição de uma interlocução pública entre os diferentes agentes.

RESUMO Este estudo visa a analisar a produção de conhecimento acerca do Planejamento e Dimensionamento da Força de Trabalho em Saúde (PDFTS) desenvolvida no Brasil identificando modelos e metodologias que consideram as diretrizes do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) para a constituição de redes de atenção regionalizadas. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, incluindo estudos brasileiros e com texto completo, em português, disponível nas bases de dados Capes, BVS e Google Acadêmico. As buscas retornaram 48.083 documentos e, após seleção com a ferramenta Prisma, foram incluídos 62 estudos publicados entre 2011 e 2020. A maioria das produções analisadas aborda o PDFTS com análises comparativas entre as necessidades estimadas e a disponibilidade atual, sendo mais frequentes os estudos de apenas uma categoria profissional, com destaque para a enfermagem. Os achados contribuem à promoção do debate sobre a essencialidade da força de trabalho em saúde para a conformação das redes, ao demonstrar que os métodos de cálculo privilegiam o uso de indicadores e parâmetros relacionados à oferta de serviços em estabelecimentos de saúde específicos, especialmente hospitais, não operacionalizando aspectos de regionalização e integração sistêmica da Rede de Atenção à Saúde.

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the production of knowledge about Planning and Sizing of the Health Workforce (PDFTS) developed in Brazil, identifying models and methodologies that consider the Guidelines of the Unified Health System (SUS) for the constitution of regionalized care networks. This is an integrative review, including Brazilian studies and full text, in Portuguese, and available in the CAPES, BVS and Google Scholar databases. The searches returned 48,083 documents and, after selection with the PRISMA strategy, 62 studies published between 2011 and 2020 were included. Most of the analyzed productions approach the PDFTS with comparative analyzes between the estimated needs and the current availability, being more frequent the studies of only one professional category, with emphasis on nursing. The findings contribute to the debate on the essentiality of the health workforce for the conformation of networks, by demonstrating that the calculation methods favor the use of indicators and parameters related to the provision of services in specific health facilities, especially hospitals, not operationalizing aspects of regionalization and systemic integration of the Health Care Network.

Abstract Objective: Evaluate the effectiveness of a children's soap with physiological pH in maintaining cutaneous pH and moisture of the newborn (NB)’s skin after the first bath. Methods: Randomized, controlled and double-blind clinical trial in a rooming-in of a tertiary maternity hospital in southern Brazil with 204 newborns > 34 gestational weeks. Gestational and obstetric history was evaluated, and newborns were randomized into two groups according to the product applied in the bath: the control group (CG), which used common liquid soap with pH 7.0 and experimental group (EG), which used children's liquid soap with pH 5.8. Evaluation was made immediately before and after bath with skin pH measurement, corneometry and clinical parameters (erythema, scaling and moisture), on the forehead, abdomen and thigh. Results: There was no difference between groups regarding gestational, obstetric and family history (p > 0.05). In CG, skin pH increased in the abdomen and thigh (p < 0.05). In EG there was an improvement in clinical parameters after bathing with: increased moisture, less erythema and less scaling (p < 0.05). On the forehead, there was a significant increase in pH after bathing (p < 0.001) similar in both groups, although no use of soap. There was no difference in corneometry between groups after bathing. Conclusions: Children's liquid soap with physiological pH maintained the acidic skin pH and moisture of the newborn's skin after the first bath, which reinforces the importance of using products with physiological pH in the hygiene of newborns.
