Abstract Systemic Arterial Hypertension is a multifactorial clinical condition associated with severe outcomes such as stroke and death. One of the main modifiable risk factor for hypertension is an unhealthy diet, often characterized by the consumption of ultraprocessed foods such as sweetened beverages. We aimed to investigate the relationship between the consumption of sweetened beverages, both sugar-sweetened and artificially sweetened, and the prevalence of hypertension in adults. A cross-sectional, household, population-based study with 1,162 adults from two Brazilian cities were carried out. The consumption of food groups and sweetened beverages was obtained by food frequency questionnaire and other data were self-reported. Weight, height, and waist circumference were measured. The association between sweetened beverages consumption and hypertension was analyzed using Poisson regression models, expressed as Prevalence Ratio. The prevalence of hypertension was 16.7%, with no significant difference between genders. The prevalence of consumption of sweetened beverages was 70.3% in men and 54.6% in women, being significantly higher in men. Women who consumed sugar-sweetened and artificially sweetened beverages 6 to 7 days per week had 92% higher prevalence of hypertension compared to those who did not consume or consumed at a lower frequency. Furthermore, women who consumed artificially sweetened beverages at least 1 time per week had 3.36 times higher prevalence of hypertension. The habitual consumption of sweetened beverages may be an important risk factor for hypertension, especially the consumption of diet beverages, which are often marketed as healthier than sugar-sweetened beverages.

Resumen La Hipertensión Arterial Sistémica es una condición clínica multifactorial asociada a resultados graves como el ictus y la muerte. Uno de los principales factores de riesgo modificables de la hipertensión es una dieta poco saludable, a menudo caracterizada por el consumo de alimentos ultraprocesados como las bebidas endulzadas. Nuestro objetivo fue investigar la relación entre el consumo de bebidas endulzadas, tanto azucaradas como edulcoradas artificialmente, y la prevalencia de hipertensión en adultos. Se realizó un estudio transversal, domiciliario y poblacional con 1,162 adultos de dos ciudades brasileñas. El consumo de grupos de alimentos y bebidas endulzadas se obtuvo mediante cuestionario de frecuencia de alimentos y los demás datos fueron autoinformados. Se midieron el peso, la talla y el perímetro de la cintura. La asociación entre el consumo de bebidas endulzadas y la hipertensión se analizó mediante modelos de regresión de Poisson, expresados como Ratio de Prevalencia. La prevalencia de hipertensión fue del 16,7%, sin diferencias significativas entre géneros. La prevalencia de consumo de bebidas endulzadas fue del 70,3% en los hombres y del 54,6% en las mujeres, siendo significativamente mayor en los hombres. Las mujeres que consumían bebidas azucaradas y edulcoradas artificialmente entre 6 y 7 días a la semana tenían 92% mayor prevalencia de hipertensión que las que no consumían o consumían con una frecuencia menor. Además, las mujeres que consumían bebidas edulcoradas al menos 1 vez por semana tenían una prevalencia de hipertensión 3,36 veces mayor. Así pues, el consumo habitual de bebidas endulzadas puede ser un importante factor de riesgo de hipertensión, especialmente el consumo de bebidas dietéticas, que a menudo se comercializan como más saludables que las bebidas azucaradas.

Abstract The Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia, published since 1925, is the most influential dermatological journal in Latin America, indexed in the main international bibliographic databases, and occupies the 50th position among the 70 dermatological journals indexed in the Journal of Citations Reports, in 2022. In this article, the authors present a critical analysis of its trajectory in the last decade and compare its main bibliometric indices with Brazilian medical and international dermatological journals. The journal showed consistent growth in different bibliometric indices, which indicates a successful editorial policy and greater visibility in the international scientific community, attracting foreign authors. The increases in citations received (4.1 ×) and in the Article Influence Score (2.9×) were more prominent than those of the main Brazilian medical and international dermatological journals. The success of Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia in the international scientific scenario depends on an assertive editorial policy, on promptly publication of high-quality articles, and on institutional stimulus to encourage clinical research in dermatology.

Abstract The present study aimed to investigate the socioeconomic and obstetric characteristics of adolescent mothers and the complications they cause to maternal and neonatal health. This baseline data analysis of the MINA-Brazil birth cohort was conducted in the municipality of Cruzeiro do Sul, state of Acre, Brazil. The chi-square test was used to compare characteristics of adolescent and adult postpartum women, and multiple Poisson regression models with robust variance were used to assess associated factors. Among the postpartum women, 26.2% (95%CI: 24.0-28.4) were adolescents. Factors associated with childbirth in adolescence included: nine years or less of schooling (adjPR:1.36; 95%CI: 1.14-1.61), belongs to the lowest quartiles of the wealth index (1st quartile: adjPR:1.40; 95%CI: 1.08-1.80) (2nd quartile: adjPR:1.37; 95%CI: 1.08-1.74), primigravidae (adjPR:3.69; 95%CI: 2.98-4.57), low pre-pregnancy BMI (adjPR:1.28; CI95%: 1.04-1.57), urinary tract infection during pregnancy (adjPR:1.25; CI95%: 1.07-1.46) and less than six prenatal consultations (adjPR:1.42; 95%CI: 1.21-1.66). Poverty, little schooling, primigravidae, low pre-pregnancy BMI, urinary tract infection during pregnancy and few prenatal consultations were associated with childbirth during adolescence in a municipality in the Northern region of Brazil.

Resumo O objetivo do estudo foi investigar as características socioeconômicas e obstétricas de parturientes adolescentes e suas complicações sobre a saúde materna e neonatal. Trata-se de uma análise de dados da linha de base da coorte de nascimentos MINA-Brasil conduzida no município de Cruzeiro do Sul, estado do Acre. Utilizou-se teste qui-quadrado para comparar características das puérperas adolescentes com as adultas e modelos múltiplos de regressão de Poisson com variância robusta para avaliar fatores associados. Entre as puérperas estudadas, 26,2% (IC95%: 24,0-28,4) eram adolescentes. Os fatores associados ao parto na adolescência foram ter nove anos ou menos de estudo (RPaj:1,36; IC95%: 1,14-1,61), pertencer aos menores quartis do índice de riqueza (1° quartil: RPaj:1,40; IC95%: 1,08-1,80) (2° quartil: RPaj:1,37; IC95%: 1,08-1,74), ser primigesta (RPaj:3,69; IC95%: 2,98-4,57), baixo IMC pré-gestacional (RPaj:1,28; IC95%: 1,04-1,57), infecção urinária na gravidez (RPaj:1,25; IC95%: 1,07-1,46) e menos de seis consultas de pré-natal (RPaj:1,42; IC95%: 1,21-1,66). Pobreza, baixa escolaridade, primigestação, baixo IMC pré-gestacional, infecção urinária na gestação e menor número de consultas de pré-natal foram associados ao parto na adolescência em município da região Norte do Brasil.

RESUMO OBJETIVO Descrever e analisar a saudabilidade dos estabelecimentos com venda formal e informal de alimentos em terminais rodoviários da região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro. MÉTODOS Realizou-se auditoria em 156 estabelecimentos formais e 127 pontos informais de venda de alimentos localizados em 14 terminais rodoviários das cinco cidades mais populosas da região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro. Foram calculadas proporções de tipos de estabelecimentos e médias (IC95%) de indicadores de disponibilidade de alimentos nos ambientes formal e informal. Para o ambiente formal, foram descritos preços, proporções das formas de pagamento aceitas, dias e horários de funcionamento e categorias de alimentos com propaganda exposta. RESULTADOS A saudabilidade dos pontos de venda de alimentos nos terminais rodoviários era baixa (inferior a 36%). Em média, estavam disponíveis para compra 250% mais subgrupos de alimentos ultraprocessados do que in natura ou minimamente processados. Adquirir comida nesses locais era conveniente porque diversas formas de pagamento estavam disponíveis e os horários de funcionamento dos estabelecimentos acompanhavam os picos de movimentação. Além disso, 73,3% das propagandas se referiam a bebidas ultraprocessadas e o custo-benefício da compra de alimentos ultraprocessados era melhor que o de alimentos in natura ou minimamente processados. CONCLUSÃO O ambiente alimentar dos terminais rodoviários da região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro promove uma alimentação não saudável. Políticas públicas de regulação devem se concentrar em iniciativas que limitem a ampla disponibilidade e publicidade de alimentos ultraprocessados nesses espaços de grande circulação de pessoas.

ABSTRACT PURPOSE To describe and analyze the healthiness of formal and informal food establishments in bus terminals of the metropolitan region of the state of Rio de Janeiro. METHOD An audit was conducted in 156 formal and 127 informal food establishments located in 14 bus terminals of the five most populous cities of the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. Proportions of types of establishments and means (95%CI) of food availability indicators in formal and informal settings were calculated. For the formal setting, prices, proportions of accepted payment methods, days and hours of operation, and food categories with displayed advertising were described. RESULTS The healthiness of food establishments in bus terminals was low (less than 36%). On average, ultra-processed food subgroups were 250% more available for purchase than fresh or minimally processed food. Purchasing food at these places was convenient because several forms of payment were available, and the opening hours of the establishments followed the peaks of movement. In addition, 73.3% of the advertising referred to ultra-processed drinks, and the cost-benefit of buying ultra-processed food was better than fresh or minimally processed food. CONCLUSION The food environment of bus terminals in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro promotes unhealthy eating. Regulatory public policies should focus on initiatives to limit the wide availability and advertising of ultra-processed food in spaces of great circulation of people.

ABSTRACT Shade-tolerant soybean genotypes will allow their greater adoption for use in agroforestry or intercropped systems in tropical and subtropical regions. These genotypes can be obtained from the selection of existing superior genotypes or through breeding programs. This study, was verified such genetic variability and select those genotypes with cultivation potential at reduced levels of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). Morphophysiological and yield characteristics of 16 soybean genotypes were evaluated in two experiments conducted in a controlled environment and laid in a randomized block design with three replications. Genetic parameters, correlations and genetic diversity were estimated and path analysis was performed. The soybean cultivars used showed genetic variability with a high variation index and heritability, which is advantageous for the selection of superior cultivars. Leaf area showed genotypic correlation and had a direct effect on seed weight per plant, regardless of shading. Additionally, the number of pods, hypocotyl diameter, and leaf area, all indirectly contributed to seed weight per plant regardless of shading. Seven genotypes (NS7780, NS8338, NS7667, NS7901, RK8115, CZ37B43 and 8579RSF) were selected based on genetic gain obtained by the Mulamba and Mock index at the two levels of PAR reduction tested. Furthermore, five of these genotypes (CZ37B43, RK8115, NS7901, NS8338 and 8579RSF) were identified by the Unweighted Pair-Group method Arithmetic Mean, as suitable either as a shaded crop or, as parental materials in breeding programs.

Integrated fish and livestock farming is an ancient practice and is used to increase production per unit area and reduce the environmental impact caused by untreated animal excreta. Although integrated aquaculture has been used in some countries, including Brazil, this practice has declined. However, many pig farmers maintain their ponds and/or have rivers near their pig farms, allowing raw manure to drain to them. The objective of this work was to verify the possibility of infection of fish by porcine circovirus 2 (PCV2) and, thus, serving as a reservoir species. Eleven specimens of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), negative for PCV2, were inoculated with PCV2 intramuscularly and observed for 61 d post-inoculation (dpi), when they were euthanized and had their intestines, livers and gills removed to evaluate for presence of PCV2. The faeces were collected directly from the fish aquarium every four days up to 12 dpi and then once a week up to 61 dpi. The organs and faeces were tested by qualitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) for PCV2. This preliminary study showed that PCV2 inoculation was successful in infecting fish. In addition, PCV2 was eliminated in the faeces intermittently during the 61 d of experimentation.

Resumen La disponibilidad de venta de alimentos en el territorio puede influir en el consumo alimentario de la población. Sin embargo, es importante comprender la manera en que las personas perciben su entorno alimentario para comprender cómo esta disponibilidad afecta su consumo en diferentes contextos. El objetivo fue evaluar la percepción de los residentes de favelas brasileñas sobre el entorno alimentario en sus vecindarios. Estudio cualitativo, en el que se formaron grupos focales en línea orientados por un guion con el objetivo de reunir discursos colectivos sobre el acceso a los alimentos en favelas brasileñas. La invitación se dio por medio de las redes sociales y mediante el contacto con líderes comunitarios y organizaciones no gubernamentales que trabajan en favelas, utilizando la técnica de muestreo “bola de nieve”. Para el análisis, se utilizó el enfoque de la grounded theory (teoría fundamentada) y, como técnica, se empleó el análisis de redes temáticas. El acceso a los alimentos de los habitantes de las favelas está permeado por la falta de recursos y elementos fundamentales para una alimentación adecuada y sana, tales como: la falta de información sobre la alimentación, los bajos ingresos y la poca disponibilidad de establecimientos que vendan alimentos sanos a precios asequibles. Se necesitan programas y políticas públicas para fomentar la ampliación de equipos de seguridad alimentaria y nutricional, como huertas y mercadillos, que aumenten la oferta y vendan alimentos sanos a precios asequibles en las favelas. También se necesitan acciones para abordar la complejidad de las barreras que enfrentan los residentes de las favelas para acceder a alimentos sanos.

Resumo A disponibilidade de venda de alimentos no território pode influenciar no consumo alimentar da população. Entretanto, é importante compreender como as pessoas percebem o seu ambiente alimentar para se entender como essa disponibilidade afeta seu consumo em contextos distintos. O objetivo foi avaliar a percepção dos moradores de favelas brasileiras sobre o ambiente alimentar em suas vizinhanças. Estudo qualitativo, em que foram realizados grupos focais online guiados por um roteiro para reunir discursos coletivos sobre o acesso aos alimentos em favelas brasileiras. O convite ocorreu por meio das redes sociais e do contato com líderes comunitários e organizações não governamentais que atuam em favelas, por meio da técnica de amostragem “bola de neve”. Para a análise, foi utilizada a abordagem grounded theory (teoria fundamentada) e, como técnica, foi empregada a análise de redes temáticas. O acesso aos alimentos por moradores de favelas é permeado pela falta de recursos e elementos fundamentais para uma alimentação adequada e saudável, como: a falta de informação sobre alimentação; a renda insuficiente; e a baixa disponibilidade de estabelecimentos que comercializam alimentos saudáveis a preços acessíveis. São necessários programas e políticas públicas que incentivem a ampliação de equipamentos de segurança alimentar e nutricional, como hortas e feiras, e que aumentem a oferta de alimentos saudáveis com valores baixos nas favelas. Também são necessárias ações que abordem a complexidade das barreiras enfrentadas por moradores de favelas para ter acesso aos alimentos saudáveis.

Abstract Food availability in the territory can influence food consumption by the population. However, it is important to understand how people perceive their food environment to see how food availability affects consumption in different contexts. This study aimed to assess the perception of the food environment by Brazilian slum residents in their neighborhoods. This is a qualitative study, with online focus groups guided by a script in order to gather collective discourses about access to food in Brazilian slums. The invitation to participate in this study was made through social media, and community leaders and nongovernmental organizations with actions in slums were contacted using the snowball sampling technique. Grounded theory analysis was applied with the technique of thematic networks. Access to food for slum residents involves lack of resources and essential elements for an adequate and healthy diet, such as lack of information about food, low income, and low availability of stores that sell healthy food at affordable prices. Public programs and policies are required to encourage the expansion of food and nutritional security resources, such as vegetable gardens and markets, to increase the supply and sell healthy food at affordable prices in slums. Actions are also required to address the complexity of obstacles faced by slum residents in the access to healthy foods.

Resumo O estudo da associação de variáveis sociais com a prevalência de deficiências pode fornecer subsídios para uma atenção e políticas de saúde mais adequadas às pessoas mais carentes ao incorporar aspectos sociais. O objetivo deste artigo é estimar a prevalência de diversos tipos de deficiências, o grau de dificuldade, as limitações e a necessidade de ajuda e verificar se essa prevalência difere por escolaridade em indivíduos com 20 anos ou mais. Trata-se de um estudo transversal populacional (Inquérito de Saúde de São Paulo 2015 - ISA-Capital). Os dados de 3.184 indivíduos foram analisados com a escolaridade como variável de exposição relacionada às deficiências visuais, auditivas, intelectuais e de mobilidade. Dezenove vírgula nove por cento dos participantes apresentavam deficiência visual, 7,8% auditiva, 2,7% intelectual e 7,4% de mobilidade. Mobilidade e deficiência intelectual foram as que mais limitaram as atividades diárias, 70,3% e 63,3%, respectivamente, sendo, portanto, as que mais necessitaram de ajuda: 48,9% e 48,5%, respectivamente. Menor nível de escolaridade mostrou associação com maior prevalência de deficiências, maior necessidade de ajuda por deficiência visual e intelectual e maiores limitações por deficiência auditiva e visual.

Abstract The study of the association of social variables with the prevalence of impairments can provide subsidies for more adequate care and health policies for the most needy people by incorporating social aspects. This article aims to estimate the prevalence of diverse types of impairments, the degree of difficulty, limitations, and the need for help they cause and attest whether this prevalence differ by educational attainment in individuals aged 20 years or older. This is a populational cross-sectional study (2015 Health Survey of São Paulo-ISA Capital). Data from 3184 individuals were analyzed via educational attainment as exposure variable and outcome variables related to visual, hearing, intellectual, and mobility impairments. 19.9% of participants had visual, 7.8%, hearing, 2.7%, intellectual, and 7.4%, mobility impairments. Mobility and intellectual impairments limited participants’ daily activities the most, 70.3% and 63.3%, respectively; who, thus, needed the most help: 48.9% and 48.5%, respectively. Lower schooling was associated with a higher prevalence of impairments, greater need for help due to visual and intellectual impairments, and greater limitations due to hearing and visual impairments.

Abstract Dengue is a public healthcare problem known in Brazil for an extended period, with the mosquito Aedes aegypti as its vector. In addition, it is a disease that affects all Brazilian territory, presenting, at times, an epidemic, endemic, and outbreak behavior. During the pandemic period of COVID-19, the number of Dengue notifications dropped drastically, inversely proportional compared to SARS-COV-2 numbers. Given this data, the present study aims to relate the notification downfall of Dengue with the pandemic timelapse, thus verifying a possible sub-notification or actual retraction of contamination by Dengue in Brazil, considering sociodemographic and clinical variables. Between 2017 and 2019, there is an acknowledged variation of 241.880 to 1.553.546 in Dengue cases. On the other hand, between 2019 and 2021, the value dropped to 544.765, presenting a predominance in the southeast and center-west. Hence, the idea of sub-notification of Dengue cases, considering the public health emergency estate presented by COVID-19, and the actual retraction of contamination by Dengue virus represent the two possible theories for the epidemiological situation presented by this study.

Resumo A Dengue é um problema de saúde pública conhecido no Brasil há vários anos e tem como vetor o mosquito Aedes aegypti. Ademais, é uma doeça que afeta todo o território brasileiro, apresentando um comportamento que varia entre epidemia, endemia e surtos. Com o período da pandemia da Covid-19, os números de notificações da Dengue caíram drasticamente, inversamente proporcional aos casos de SARS-COV-2. Diante disso, o presente estudo tem como objetivo relacionar a queda nos números de notificação de Dengue com o período pandêmico, a fim de constatar uma possível subnotificação ou declínio real da contaminação por Dengue no Brasil, considerando variáveis sociodemográficas e clínicas. No período de 2017 a 2019, nota-se uma variação de 241.880 para 1.553.546 nos casos de Dengue. Em contrapartida, de 2019 a 2021, este valor declinou para 544.765, apresentando maior predomínio no Sudeste e maior prevalência no Centro-Oeste. Por fim, são reforçadas a ideias de que houve subnotificação dos casos de Dengue, tendo em vista a emergência em Saúde Pública representada pelo COVID-19, e a redução real na contaminação pelo vírus da Dengue representam as possíveis teorias para a situação epidemilógica apresentadas por este trabalho.

Introduction: International consensus guidelines are commonly used to identify patients at high risk of developing cancer or with cancer. Its applicability, however, is based on investigation through imaging tests, however without histological confirmation. Objective: To compare the performance and results of international guidelines in incidental mucinous neoplasia after diagnosis obtained by endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle puncture (EUS-PAF). Methods: Single-center study with prospective collection of data from asymptomatic patients with the disease who underwent EUS-PAF. Appropriate cohort selection included images that were ambiguous regarding this diagnosis or the presence and/or development of other worrisome features as defined by international guidelines. After microhistological analysis of the material obtained, each of the guideline criteria was applied to identify cancer among patients with the disease. Results: 251 patients had the diagnosis confirmed by EUS-PAF or surgical procedure. The majority were asymptomatic. The final diagnosis revealed 27.8% (n=39) with malignant disease or high-risk signs. After applying the AGA-2015, IAP-2017 and DE-2018 criteria, it was observed that those detected incidentally were referred for surgery unnecessarily. These guidelines did not identify malignant and high-risk disease in 59%, 33.3% and 46.1%, respectively. Conclusion: The European DE-2018 proved to be more accurate for use in patients with asymptomatic incidental mucinous neoplasia after the diagnosis obtained by EUS-PAF.

Introdução: Consensos internacionais, são diretrizes comumente usadas para identificar pacientes com alto risco de desenvolver câncer ou com câncer. Sua aplicabilidade, entretanto, baseia-se na investigação por exames de imagem, contudo sem confirmação histológica. Objetivo: Comparar o desempenho e os resultados das diretrizes internacionais em neoplasia mucinosa incidental após diagnóstico obtido pela punção com agulha fina guiada por ultrassom endoscópico (USE-PAF). Métodos: Estudo unicêntrico com coleta prospectiva de dados de pacientes assintomáticos com a doença submetidos a USE-PAF. A seleção apropriada da coorte incluiu imagens ambíguas quanto a esse diagnóstico ou a presença e/ou desenvolvimento de outras características preocupantes, conforme definido pelas diretrizes internacionais. Após análise microhistológica do material obtido, cada um dos critérios das diretrizes foi aplicado para identificar câncer entre os pacientes com a doença. Resultados: 251 pacientes tiveram o diagnóstico confirmado pela USE-PAF ou procedimento cirúrgico. A maioria era assintomática. O diagnóstico final revelou 27,8% (n=39) com doença maligna ou sinais de alto risco.. Após aplicação dos critérios AGA-2015, IAP-2017 e DE-2018, observou-se que os detectados incidentalmente foram encaminhados para cirurgia desnecessariamente. Essas diretrizes não identificaram doença maligna e de alto risco em 59%, 33,3% e 46,1%, respectivamente às diretrizes. Conclusão: A DE-2018 europeia mostrou-se mais precisa para ser utilizada em pacientes com neoplasia mucinosa incidental assintomática após o diagnóstico obtido pela USE-PAF.

ABSTRACT This research aimed to prospect the working conditions of the rescue teams of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU-192) at the fluvial areas of the Alto Solimoes region, trough the systemic analysis of the activities of the water ambulances service popularly called ‘ambulanchas’ during the peaks of COVID-19 in the state of Amazonas, when the health system functioned under stress caused by the pandemic. Data were obtained from an exploratory cross-sectional design, based on qualitative data collected through interviews and observation of the normal functioning of the system before the pandemic. From there, models of two scenarios were developed showing the functioning of the water ambulances service when coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact on the working conditions of the interprofessional rescue teams. Remote interviews with workers after the pandemic indicated that the prospection of working conditions from the instances of the models corresponded to the real functioning of the system during the COVID-19 pandemic.

RESUMO Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo prospectar as condições de trabalho das equipes de socorro do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu-192) fluvial das áreas ribeirinhas e costeiras da região do Alto-Solimões, a partir da análise sistêmica das atividades no serviço de embarcações popularmente chamadas de ‘ambulanchas’ durante os picos da Covid-19 no estado do Amazonas, quando o sistema de saúde funcionou sob o estresse provocado pela pandemia. Os dados foram obtidos a partir de um desenho transversal exploratório, baseado em dados qualitativos coletados por meio de entrevistas e observação do funcionamento normal do sistema antes da pandemia. A partir daí modelos de dois cenários foram elaborados mostrando o funcionamento do serviço de ambulanchas ao lidar com a pandemia de Covid-19 e o impacto nas condições de trabalho das equipes de socorro interprofissionais de socorro. Entrevistas remotas com trabalhadores das ambulanchas após a pandemia indicaram que a prospecção das condições de trabalho a partir das instâncias dos modelos corresponderam ao funcionamento real do sistema durante a pandemia de Covid-19.

ABSTRACT Objectives: To verify the association between the ABO blood type and the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19 disease severity. Methods: This review was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), using the 2020 PRISMA Checklist and flow diagram, and articles selected for review were analyzed using the Newcastle-Ottawa Quality Rating Scale. The research question was: "Would the ABO blood group influence the risk of infection and clinical course of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2?", The following databases were used: Embase, PubMed, Virtual Health Library (VHL), Web of Science, Science-Direct and Scopus. The protocol for this review was registered in the Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO), number CRD42021245945. Results: We found 798 articles across PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct and Virtual Health Library and 54 articles were included in the final analysis. Among 30 studies evaluating the risk of COVID-19 infection, 21 found significant correlations with ABO blood groups, 14 of them revealing an increased risk in blood group A and 15 studies showing a decreased risk in blood group O. Most studies found no significant correlation with disease severity or mortality. Conclusion: The qualitative assessment of available information suggests that blood group A may be a risk factor for COVID-19 infection and that blood group O may have a protective effect. We were unable to determine a clear association between the ABO blood group and mortality. These conclusions are based on highly heterogenous evidence.

Resumo Dentre os princípios norteadores do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), a integralidade é um dos mais importantes, porém sua operacionalização tem se demonstrado um desafio complexo para a efetiva consolidação SUS. Nesse sentido, no que tange à formação dos profissionais de saúde, as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais apontam a necessidade de adequação curricular das áreas da saúde. Objetivo: Analisar a compreensão e a prática de fisioterapeutas que atuam na Atenção Primária à Saúde de um município do interior do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil, sobre o cuidado na perspectiva da integralidade. Métodos: Pesquisa de campo, de abordagem qualiquantitativa baseada na Teoria das Representações Sociais. Participaram 15 fisioterapeuta, cujos dados foram obtidos a partir de quatro perguntas abertas. Emergiram 15 ideias centrais distribuídas em quatro quadros representativos das ideias centrais e discursos do sujeito coletivo; neste estudo, serão apresentados os resultados e discussões referentes à prática do cuidado destes profissionais na perspectiva da integralidade. Resultados: O estudo constatou que os fisioterapeutas da APS realizam sua assistência na perspectiva da integralidade em seu dia a dia, privilegiando a escuta ativa e valorizando não só os sintomas físicos, mas também os emocionais. Além disso, desenvolvem a integralidade do cuidado a partir da promoção da autonomia dos pacientes, valorizando a escuta ampliada, ou seja, ativa. Considerações finais: Os fisioterapeutas têm práticas de cuidado voltadas à integralidade da população; entretanto, embora haja um movimento de transformação, ainda é necessário avançar na formação dos profissionais e na divulgação das reflexões sobre a temática para melhorar a assistência fisioterapêutica, conforme preconizado pelo SUS e as DCN.

Abstract Among the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS)’s principles, integrality is one of the most important, but its implementation has proven to be a complex challenge for the effective SUS consolidation. In this sense, regarding the training of health professionals, the National Curriculum Guidelines (DCN) point to the need for curricular adequacy in the areas of health. Objective: To analyze the understanding and practice of physiotherapists who work in Primary Health Care (PHC) in a city in the interior of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, regarding care from the perspective of integrality. Methods: Field research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach based on the Theory of Social Representations. Fifteen physiotherapists participated, whose data were obtained from four open questions. 15 central ideas emerged, distributed in four representative tables of the central ideas and discourses of the collective subject; in this study, the results and discussions regarding the practice of care by these professionals will be presented from integrality’s perspective. Results: The study found that PHC physiotherapists perform their assistance from the perspective of integrality in their daily lives, favoring active listening and valuing not only physical symptoms, but also emotional ones. In addition, they develop an integral care based on the promotion of patients' autonomy, valuing expanded listening, that is, active listening. Final considerations: Physical therapists have care practices aimed at the entire population; however, although there is a transformation movement, it is still necessary to advance in the training of professionals and in the dissemination of reflections on the theme to improve physical therapy assistance, as recommended by the SUS and the DCN.
