RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar os aspectos intangíveis (AI) que geram impactos nas empresas do sector agrícola nas diferentes fases do ciclo de vida das empresas. Para isso, utilizamos a metodologia de revisão sistemática para identificar os intangíveis no setor agrícola. Foram analisados estudos sobre o ciclo de vida das empresas para classificar o impacto dos aspectos intangíveis de acordo com a realidade das empresas. A forma como os aspectos intangíveis afetam cada fase do ciclo de vida das empresas do setor mostra que estes apresentam um impacto diferente consoante o período em que a empresa se encontra. ABSTRACT: This paper identified the intangible aspects (IA) that generate impacts in companies of the agricultural sector in the different stages of the companies life cycle. This paper is based on a systematic review methodology to identify intangibles in the agricultural sector. Studies on the life cycle of companies were analyzed to classify the impact of intangible aspects according to the reality of companies. Identify the intangible aspects that impact the agricultural sector through a review of the scientific literature. ABSTRACT No-tillage (NT) has been largely adopted in Brazil as a strategy for soil conservation, but for the last decade, there have been governmental incentives for its adoption arising from its potential for soil C accumulation. Notwithstanding, the soil mulch formed from crop residues favors the maintenance of soil moisture and nutrients in the upper soil layers, which stimulates soil microbial activity and may increase the potential for nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions. In addition, double-cropping systems in the same year are typical in Brazil and the impact on the fraction of fertilizer N lost as N2O needs to be evaluated. This study aimed to assess the influence of soil tillage and N fertilization on N2O emissions in a wheat-soybean succession system as commonly practiced in southern Brazil. The experiment was carried out at Embrapa Soybean research station located in Southern Brazil. Treatments were conventional tillage (CT) and no-tillage (NT), with and without nitrogen fertilization for the wheat and no N fertilizer for the soybean. Closed-static chambers were used to monitor N2O fluxes for two consecutive years. Together with gas monitoring, soil samples were also taken and analyzed for mineral N, soil moisture and labile carbon. Soybean yields were higher under NT, which seemed to be the result of a higher soil water availability that helped to overcome extended periods without rainfall. Soil N2O emissions were similar between CT and NT, with just a tendency for higher emissions under NT. The highest emissions occurred from the soybean crop. In the second year under NT, the emissions from the soybean crop were higher when preceded by N-fertilized wheat, but the converse was true under CT. None of the soil variables consistently correlated with N2O emissions, with mineral-N as the best predictor in the second wheat cycle and soil moisture in the first soybean cycle. Calculated emission factors were not statistically different between CT and NT and consistently lower than the IPCC default of 1 %. The calculated N2O emission intensity by relating N2O emission to grain yield showed an environmental advantage of NT compared to CT by presenting a 44 % reduction in soybean and similar values for fertilized wheat.

Abstract Objective To evaluate the efficacy and outcomes of the surgical treatment for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) in stages III and IV by sacrospinous ligament fixation (SSLF) or uterosacral ligament suspension (USLS) by comparing anatomical and subjective cure rates and quality-of-life parameters (through the version validated for the Portuguese language of the Prolapse Quality of Life [P-QoL] questionnaire) under two definitions: genital prolapse Ba, Bp, and C< −1 (stage I) and Ba, Bp, and C ≤ 0 (stage II). Materials and Methods After we obtained approval from the Ethics Committee (under CAAE 0833/06) and registered the study in ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT 01347021), 51 patients were randomized into two groups: the USLS group (N = 26) and the SSLF group (N = 25), with follow-up 6 and 12 months after the procedures. Results There was a significant improvement in the P-QoL score and anatomical measurements of all compartments in both groups after 12 months (p< 0.001). The anatomical cure rates in the USLS and SSLF groups, considering stage 1, were of 34.6% and 40% (anterior) respectively; of 100% both for groups (apical); and of 73.1% and 92% (posterior) respectively. The rates of adverse outcomes were of 42% (N = 11) and 36% (N = 11) for the USLS and SSLF groups respectively (p= 0.654), and those outcomes were excessive bleeding, bladder perforation (intraoperative) or gluteal pain, and urinary infection (postoperative), among others, without differences between the groups. Conclusion High cure rates in all compartments were observed according to the anatomical criterion (stage I), without differences in P-QoL scores and complications either with USLS or SSLF for the surgical treatment of accentuated POP.

Resumo Objetivo Avaliar a eficácia e os resultados do tratamento cirúrgico para prolapso de órgãos pélvicos (POP) nos estágios III e IV, por meio da técnica de fixação do ligamento sacroespinal (FLSE) ou suspensão do ligamento útero-sacro (SLUS), ao comparar os índices de cura anatômicos, subjetivos, e os parâmetros de qualidade de vida (por meio do questionário Prolapse Quality of Life [P-QoL] validado para a língua portuguesa) sob duas definições: prolapso genital Ba, Bp e C< −1 (estágio I) e Ba, Bp e C ≤ 0 (estágio II). Materiais e Métodos Após aprovação do Comitê de Ética (CAAE 0833/06) e registro no ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT 01347021), 51 pacientes foram randomizadas em dois grupos: grupo SLUS (N = 26) e (2) grupo FLSE (N = 25), com seguimento de 6 e 12 meses. Resultados Houve melhora significativa nas pontuações no P-QoL e nas medidas anatômicas de todos os compartimentos em ambos os grupos após 12 meses (p< 0,001). As taxas de cura anatômica nos grupos SLUS e FLSE , considerando o estágio 1, foram de 34,6% e 40% (anterior), respectivamente; de 100% em ambos os grupos (apical); e de 73,1% e 92% (posterior), respectivamente. As taxas de resultados adversos foram de 42% (N = 11) e 36% (N = 11), respectivamente, nos grupos SLUS e FLSE (p= 0,654), e elas foram sangramento excessivo, perfuração da bexiga (intraoperatória) ou dor glútea, e infecção urinária (pós-operatória), entre outras, sem diferenças entre os grupos. Conclusão Altas taxas de cura em todos os compartimentos foram observadas segundo critério anatômico (estágio I), sem diferença quanto às pontuações no P-QoL e às complicações tanto com SLUS quanto com FLSE para o tratamento cirúrgico de POP acentuado.

Abstract This publication is an update of the “Consensus on the therapeutic management of atopic dermatitis - Brazilian Society of Dermatology” published in 2019, considering the novel, targeted-oriented systemic therapies for atopic dermatitis. The initial recommendations of the current consensus for systemic treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis were based on a recent review of scientific published data and a consensus was reached after voting. The Brazilian Society of Dermatology invited 31 experts from all regions of Brazil and 2 international experts on atopic dermatitis who fully contributed to the process. The methods included an e-Delphi study to avoid bias, a literature search and a final consensus meeting. The authors added novel approved drugs in Brazil and the indication for phototherapy and systemic therapy for AD. The therapeutical response to systemic treatment is hereby reported in a suitable form for clinical practice and is also part of this updated manuscript.

RESUMO Objetivo: Apresentar um modelo conceitual para adoção de ferramentas tecnológicas em projetos de auditoria contínua. Metodologia: Esta pesquisa está constituída em uma perspectiva de abordagem qualitativa com natureza descritiva, dividida em duas fases. Na primeira fase foi realizada uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura com foco nas ferramentas tecnológicas e Projetos de Auditoria Contínua e, na segunda fase, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo por meio da realização de entrevistas de profundidade com profissionais relacionados ao tema. Limitações/implicações da pesquisa: O estudo limita-se a identificar as ferramentas tecnológicas em Projetos de Auditoria Contínua. Resultados: Os resultados apontaram os principais benefícios e desafios encontrados na adoção de ferramentas tecnológicas em Projetos de Auditoria Contínua. ABSTRACT Purpose: Present a conceptual model for the adoption of technological tools in continuous audit projects. Design/methodology/approach: This research is constituted from the perspective of a qualitative approach with a descriptive nature, divided into two phases. In the first phase, a Systematic Literature Review was conducted focusing on technological tools and Continuous Audit Projects, in the second phase, field research was conducted through in-depth interviews with professionals related to the theme. Findings: The results indicated the main benefits and challenges encountered in the adoption of technological tools in Continuous Audit Projects. The results pointed out the nine main factors, among them, the enabling elements for the adoption of technological tools in Continuous Audit Projects. Resumo: Esta pesquisa apresenta uma revisão sistematizada da literatura para identificar os principais fatores críticos de sucesso (FCS) que influenciam a competitividade de startups. Considerando que aspectos relacionados à competitividade devem ser o alvo das organizações, principalmente das empresas em estágio inicial, este artigo identifica uma ampla gama de fatores relacionados à competitividade das startups. Foram selecionados 36 artigos nas bases de dados Scopus e Web of Science e realizada análise bibliométrica aprofundada do corpus por meio do software VOSviewer. Foram identificados 25 FCS que influenciam a competitividade das startups e categorizados em três pontos de vista fundamentais (PVF), a saber: organizacional, humano e ambiental. O PVF organizacional abrange fatores que definem as características internas das startups. O PVF Humano, por sua vez, consiste em características do capital humano, enquanto o PVF Ambiental refere-se a fatores externos às startups e ao contexto em que atuam. Este trabalho pode ajudar profissionais e formuladores de políticas, esclarecendo-os sobre a competitividade das startups e os elementos envolvidos nisso, além de fornecer-lhes uma estrutura conceitual robusta.

Abstract: This research presents a systematized literature review to identify the main critical success factors (CSFs) that influence startups’ competitiveness. Considering that aspects related to competitiveness should be the target of organizations, especially early-stage companies, this paper identifies a broad of factors regarding startups’ competitiveness. A total of 36 articles were selected in Scopus and Web of Science databases and an in-depth bibliometric analysis of the corpus was performed using the VOSviewer software. 25 CSFs that influence startups’ competitiveness were identified and categorized into three fundamental points of view (FPVs), namely: organizational, human, and environmental. Organizational FPV covers factors that define the internal characteristics of startups. Human FPV, in turn, consists of characteristics of human capital, while the Environmental FPV refers to external factors and the startup context. This work could help practitioners and policymakers by enlightening them about startups’ competitiveness and the elements involved therein, along with providing them with a robust conceptual framework.

Resumen La nueva enfermedad del coronavirus de 2019 (Covid-19), producida por el coronavirus del Síndrome Respiratorio Agudo Severo 2 (SARS-CoV-2), es una pandemia que está creando una creciente crisis sanitaria mundial, dada su novedad, su alcance y sus inicialmente limitadas opciones de tratamiento eficaz. En efecto, se sabe poco acerca de las intervenciones no farmacéuticas óptimas para evitar la morbilidad y mortalidad causadas por él, y también se conoce poco sobre la rentabilidad y aspectos éticos de dichas intervenciones. Por lo tanto, éste es el primer análisis ético y de rentabilidad de las medidas de contención del Covid-19 que se conoce (así como de las medidas de cuarentena de la población para cualquier pandemia en particular), con el fin de ayudar a los sistemas de salud y a los gobiernos a garantizar la atención clínica más rentable que pueda proporcionarse equitativamente al mayor número posible de pacientes, durante esta pandemia y en las futuras crisis mundiales que sean similares. Este análisis utilizó la metodología adoptada por los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades (CDC), cifras comúnmente aceptadas como entradas, y los supuestos mínimos tanto extremos como del mundo real para proporcionar los resultados más sólidos y confiables posibles. El análisis de costos indicó que en los escenarios extremos, o en el mejor de los casos para las medidas de contención del Covid-19 durante la cuarentena de la población, hay una relación de costo-efectividad de $154.86 millones de dólares gastados por cada muerte evitada, y un costo neto de $1.92 billones a nivel mundial. En el mundo real, esta intervención tiene una proporción de 2,520 millones de dólares gastados por cada muerte evitada y un costo neto de 1,99 billones de dólares. La ética del contrato social personalista, tal y como se articula en el popular sistema ético de derechos y deberes de las Naciones Unidas, pone de manifiesto la especial preocupación por el hecho de que estos confinamientos pueden derivar en injusticias poco éticas perpetuadas por los Estados, de manera que socavan las vidas y las libertades individuales, al tiempo que afectan de manera desproporcionada a las comunidades de menores ingresos, especialmente a las minorías raciales. Este estudio sugiere, por tanto, que la práctica prevalente de la cuarentena entre la población, en comparación con las precauciones de tipo estándar y las intervenciones más específicas, puede proporcionar un beneficio neto inadecuado por su costo financiero y ético. En un momento de escasez mundial, que pone a prueba la capacidad de los sistemas sanitarios para detectar y atender adecuadamente a los pacientes con Covid-19, especialmente en los países en desarrollo y en las comunidades desatendidas, este estudio respalda que se dediquen menos recursos a intervenciones con una relación costobeneficio poco clara, y más recursos a intervenciones más asequibles, éticas y equitativas, con mayores pruebas de sus beneficios netos para salvar vidas.

Abstract The novel coronavirus disease of 2019 (Covid-19) produced by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a pandemic creating a growing global health crisis given its novelty, scope, and initially limited efficacious treatment options. Yet little is known about optimal non-pharmaceutical interventions to improve its morbidity and mortality, particularly their cost effectiveness and ethical aspects. This is thus the first known machine learning-augmented cost effectiveness and ethical analysis of Covid-19 containment measures (and of population quarantine measures in particular for any pandemic) to assist health systems and governments in ensuring the most clinically and cost-effective care that can be equitably provided to as many patients as possible during this pandemic and future similar global crises. This analysis utilized the methodology adopted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), commonly accepted figures as inputs, and both extreme and real-world minimal assumptions to provide the most robust and reliable results possible. Cost analysis indicated that in the extreme or best-case scenarios for the Covid-19 containment measure of population quarantine, there is a cost-effectiveness ratio of $154.86 million spent per averted death and a net cost of $1.92 trillion globally. In real-world scenarios, this intervention has a ratio of $2.52 billion spent per averted death for a net cost of $1.99 trillion. Personalist social contract ethics as articulated by the United Nations’ popular ethical system of rights and duties highlights the particular concerns that such lockdowns may be unethical injustices perpetuated by states in a manner that undermine individual lives and liberties while disproportionately negatively impacting lower income communities particularly racial minorities. This study thus suggests that the prevalent practice of population quarantine compared to standard precautions and more targeted interventions may provide inadequate net benefit for its financial and ethical cost. At a time of global shortages straining health system capacities to adequately detect and care for Covid-19 patients particularly in developing nations and underserved communities, this study supports focusing resources less on interventions with unclear benefit-cost trade-off and more on better affordable, ethical, and equitable interventions with greater evidence for their life-saving net benefits.

RESUMO Objetivo: Relatar a independência funcional e o grau de comprometimento pulmonar em pacientes adultos 3 meses após a alta da unidade de terapia intensiva. Métodos: Este foi um estudo de coorte retrospectiva conduzido em uma unidade de terapia intensiva multiprofissional para pacientes adultos em um único centro. Incluíram-se pacientes admitidos à unidade de terapia intensiva entre janeiro de 2012 e dezembro de 2013 que, 3 meses mais tarde, foram submetidos à espirometria e responderam ao questionário Medida de Independência Funcional. Resultados: Os pacientes foram divididos em grupos segundo sua classificação de independência funcional e espirometria. O estudo incluiu 197 pacientes, que foram divididos entre os grupos maior dependência (n = 4), menor dependência (n = 12) e independente (n = 181). Na comparação dos três grupos com relação à classificação pela Medida de Independência Funcional, pacientes com maior dependência tinham escores Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II e Sequential Organ Failure Assessment mais altos quando da admissão à unidade de terapia intensiva, idade mais avançada, mais dias sob ventilação mecânica e tempo mais longo de permanência na unidade de terapia intensiva e no hospital. A maioria dos pacientes apresentava comprometimento pulmonar, sendo o padrão obstrutivo o mais frequentemente observado. Na comparação da independência funcional com a função pulmonar, observou-se que, quanto pior a condição funcional, pior a função pulmonar, observando-se diferenças significantes em relação ao pico de fluxo expiratório (p = 0,030). Conclusão: Em sua maioria, os pacientes que retornaram ao ambulatório 3 meses após a alta tinham boa condição funcional, porém apresentavam comprometimento pulmonar relacionado com o grau de dependência funcional.

ABSTRACT Objective: To relate functional independence to the degree of pulmonary impairment in adult patients 3 months after discharge from the intensive care unit. Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study conducted in one adult intensive care unit and a multi-professional post-intensive care unit outpatient clinic of a single center. Patients admitted to the intensive care unit from January 2012 to December 2013 who underwent (3 months later) spirometry and answered the Functional Independence Measure Questionnaire were included. Results: Patients were divided into groups according to the classification of functional independence and spirometry. The study included 197 patients who were divided into greater dependence (n = 4), lower dependence (n = 12) and independent (n = 181) groups. Comparing the three groups, regarding the classification of the Functional Independence Measure, patients with greater dependence had higher Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II and Sequential Organ Failure Assessment values at intensive care unit admission with more advanced age, more days on mechanical ventilation, and longer stay in the intensive care unit and hospital. The majority of patients presented with pulmonary impairment, which was the obstructive pattern observed most frequently. When comparing functional independence with pulmonary function, it was observed that the lower the functional status, the worse the pulmonary function, with a significant difference being observed in peak expiratory flow (p = 0.030). Conclusion: The majority of patients who returned to the outpatient clinic 3 months after discharge had good functional status but did present with pulmonary impairment, which is related to the degree of functional dependence.

Resumo Introdução O instrumento “Occupational Performance History Interview – II” (OPHI-II) foi elaborado para se configurar como avaliação para terapeutas ocupacionais que atuam sob a perspectiva do Modelo de Ocupação Humana (MOHO). Por meio de entrevista semi-estruturada, coleta informações sobre o desempenho ocupacional do cliente na busca de obter efetividade do planejamento e processo terapêutico. Objetivo: Investigar a produção de conhecimento da terapia ocupacional relativa à utilização do OPHI-II quanto à finalidade de uso e modos de aplicação, discutindo as contribuições para a prática do terapeuta ocupacional e a perspectiva de uso no Brasil. Método Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo da literatura, realizada nas bases de dados Web of Science, Scopus e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, somada aos artigos sugeridos no site e livro do MOHO. Resultados Localizaram-se 14 periódicos, totalizando 26 publicações com o uso do OPHI-II, a maioria delas posteriores a 2010, sendo a mais recente de 2017. Identificaram-se sete países de estudo, com destaque para Estados Unidos e Austrália, sem pesquisas conduzidas no Brasil. Em sua maioria, a abordagem escolhida foi a qualitativa, com metodologia baseada na análise temática do discurso. Há diversidade em relação à população estudada e ao modo de aplicação do OPHI-II, podendo combinar ou não os seus três elementos (entrevista, curva narrativa e escalas). Conclusão O OPHI-II se mostrou como um instrumento relevante tanto na prática clínica como para a pesquisa, o qual possibilita a combinação de outras escalas de avaliação e tem sido utilizado em diversas populações e áreas do campo da terapia ocupacional.

Abstract Introduction The “Occupational Performance History Interview” - II (OPHI-II) was developed to be the initial assessment for occupational therapists who work under the perspective of the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO). This instrument can be applied as an interview script to gather information about a client’s occupational performance, enabling the therapeutic plan and measuring its effectiveness. Objective To review the publications about the OPHI-II in occupational therapy regarding the purpose and methods of its use, and to discuss its contributions to clinical practice and its perspectives for application in Brazil. Method This is a scoping review performed in the databases: Web of Science, Scopus, and Virtual Health Library. We also search in grey literature such as the MOHO book and its website. Results We identified that in 14 of overall 26 publications using the OPHI-II, most of them were published after 2010, and the newest was in 2017. Seven countries were identified in those publications, mainly the United States and Australia, but no Brazilian study was observed. Mostly, the chosen approach was qualitative, based on thematic content analysis. The population studied was diverse and also the methods of application of the OPHI-II, combining or not its three elements (i.e. interview, narrative curve, and scales). Conclusion OPHI-II shows to be a relevant instrument both in clinical practice and research, which allows the combination of other assessment scales and has been used with a range of clients in fields of practice in occupational therapy.

Objetivo: to compare life quality of people living in quilombo remnant communities in municipalities of Bahia. Method: descriptive and quantitative research involving inhabitants of two quilombo communities in the state of Bahia. Life quality data were collected by means of the WHOQOL-Bref questionnaire. Data were analyzed in terms of similarities and differences between the chosen variables in each community. Results: with regard to the physical domain pain and discomfort, which cause lack of energy for routine activities and fatigue, had a low score. In the psychological domain the score for spirituality was also low in both communities. In the environmental domain the variable financial resources obtained low scores, but in the social relations domain satisfactory results were obtained. Conclusion: the general analysis of the facets scores shows that both quilombo communities have similar profiles.

Objetivo: comparar la calidad de vida de los residentes en comunidades remanentes de los quilombos en municipios de Bahía. Método: investigación descriptiva y cuantitativa realizada con residentes de dos comunidades remanentes de los quilombos en el estado de Bahía. Los datos sobre calidad de vida se recolectaron a través del cuestionario WHOQOL-Bref. Esos datos fueron analizados en términos de similitudes y diferencias entre las variables elegidas en cada comunidad. Resultados: en lo que se refiere al dominio físico dolor y malestar, que causan falta de energía para realizar las tareas cotidianas y fatiga, obtuvo bajo puntaje. En el dominio psicológico el puntaje para espiritualidad también fue bajo en ambas comunidades. En el dominio ambiental la variable recursos financieros recibió puntaje bajo. Sin embargo, en el dominio relaciones sociales los resultados fueron satisfactorios. Conclusión: el análisis general de los puntajes de las facetas muestra que ambas comunidades tienen perfiles similares.

Para a coleta de dados de qualidade de vida foi aplicado o formulário WHOQOL-Bref. Os dados foram explorados quanto às similaridades e diferenças entre as variáveis estudadas em cada comunidade. Resultados: com relação ao domínio físico, há baixo escore nas variáveis dor e desconforto, que causam falta de energia para as atividades cotidianas e fadiga. Também houve baixo escore em espiritualidade no domínio psicológico nas duas comunidades. No domínio meio ambiente, a variável recurso financeiro obteve escores baixos, mas o domínio relações sociais apresentou resultados satisfatórios. Conclusão: na análise geral dos escores das facetas, percebe-se que as comunidades remanescentes de quilombos possuem perfis semelhantes.

ABSTRACT. Herbicides have been used to control Brachiaria grass in pastures established or in formation given their practicality, however their efficiency is questionable due to the lack of specific graminicides for different forage species. Therefore, the goal of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of glyphosate and fluazifop-p-butyl in the control of Brachiaria decumbens (signalgrass) and the intoxication levels of Panicum maximum cv. Tanzania (Tanzania quinea grass) in pasture establishment. The experiments were designed in randomized blocks, in a 2 × 5 × 4 factorial arrangement of two herbicides (fluazifop-p-butyl and glyphosate), five doses equivalent to the commercial dosage of each herbicide (0.25; 0.50; 1.00; 1.50; 200), and four evaluation times after herbicide application (15, 21, 30 and 45 days). There was interaction between doses and evaluation times. The dose 1.5 L ha-1 fluazifop-p-butyl provides efficient control of signalgrass, however, leads to high intoxication in Tanzania guinea grass. Glyphosate is efficient in the control of signalgrass even at the lowest dose (90 g ha-1), however, it causes high intoxication in Tanzania guinea grass, preventing its use in developing pastures. It can be concluded that fluazifop-p-butyl and glyphosate herbicides are not recommended for the control of B. decumbens, cv. Basilisk in developing pastures of Tanzania guinea grass.

RESUMO A Comunicação Suplementar e/ou Alternativa para crianças (CSA) com paralisia cerebral é essencial para o seu envolvimento em diferentes contextos. Assim sendo, o objetivo deste artigo foi verificar os efeitos de um programa individualizado de CSA para uma criança com paralisia cerebral não verbal em três contextos da vida cotidiana: escola, casa e ambientes clínicos. Este estudo utilizou o delineamento experimental de múltiplas sondagens. Os participantes foram uma criança com paralisia cerebral e três parceiros de comunicação em seus respectivos contextos: professor, mãe e terapeuta ocupacional. A intervenção consistiu no processo individualizado de formação teórica e prática dirigida aos parceiros de comunicação e implementação da CSA. Após a implementação do programa de intervenção, os resultados demonstraram que a criança e os parceiros de comunicação usaram com sucesso os recursos da CSA. Os resultados apontam que as estratégias adotadas nos três contextos foram eficazes e proporcionaram aprendizado sobre o uso de CSA para a criança e seus parceiros de comunicação.

ABSTRACT Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for children with cerebral palsy is essential for their engagement in different contexts. Therefore, the purpose of this paper was to verify the effects of a program of AAC for a non-verbal child with cerebral palsy in three different contexts of daily life: school, home and rehabilitation settings. This study used a Multiple-probe Experimental Design. The participants were a child with cerebral palsy and three communication partners in their respective settings: teacher, mother and occupational therapist. The intervention consisted of the individualized process of theoretical and practical training directed at the communication partners and implementation of the AAC. After implementation of the intervention program, the results showed that the child and the communication partners successfully used AAC resources. The results indicate that the strategies adopted in the three contexts were effective and provided to the child and his communication partners an understanding of how to use the AAC effectively.

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Atopic dermatitis is a highly prevalent inflammatory and pruritic dermatosis with a multifactorial etiology, which includes skin barrier defects, immune dysfunction, and microbiome alterations. Atopic dermatitis is mediated by genetic, environmental, and psychological factors and requires therapeutic management that covers all the aspects of its complex pathogenesis. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this article is to present the experience, opinions, and recommendations of Brazilian dermatology experts regarding the therapeutic management of atopic dermatitis. METHODS: Eighteen experts from 10 university hospitals with experience in atopic dermatitis were appointed by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology to organize a consensus on the therapeutic management of atopic dermatitis. The 18 experts answered an online questionnaire with 14 questions related to the treatment of atopic dermatitis. Afterwards, they analyzed the recent international guidelines on atopic dermatitis of the American Academy of Dermatology, published in 2014, and of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, published in 2018. Consensus was defined as approval by at least 70% of the panel. RESULTS/CONCLUSION: The experts stated that the therapeutic management of atopic dermatitis is based on skin hydration, topical anti-inflammatory agents, avoidance of triggering factors, and educational programs. Systemic therapy, based on immunosuppressive agents, is only indicated for severe refractory disease and after failure of topical therapy. Early detection and treatment of secondary bacterial and viral infections is mandatory, and hospitalization may be needed to control atopic dermatitis flares. Novel target-oriented drugs such as immunobiologicals are invaluable therapeutic agents for atopic dermatitis.

Resumo Explorar o tema da educação inclusiva requer que discutamos a formação de professores e de seus formadores no que tange às práticas e significações sobre a diversidade humana. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a formação e as práticas de docentes universitários, atuantes em cursos de licenciatura, no que se refere aos pressupostos inclusivos. Para tanto foram analisadas, por meio da abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa descrita por González Rey, as respostas ao instrumento de autopreenchimento aplicados em 26 professores atuantes nos cursos de licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas, Química e Física de duas universidades públicas federais. Em geral, os dados nos mostram que a formação dos formadores é pouca ou nenhuma no que se refere à inclusão escolar e à aprendizagem de alunos com necessidades educacionais especiais. As barreiras atitudinais também puderam ser notadas em parte das respostas, demonstrando que esse é um problema que está longe de ser ultrapassado e configura um entrave para o sucesso do processo inclusivo. Além desses fatores, foi evidente que existe pouco apoio institucional e que as condições de inclusão nas universidades participantes ainda precisam de grandes mudanças para a efetivação desse processo. Entendemos que os resultados poderão subsidiar e ampliar a discussão da área de formação de professores, contribuindo, também, para (re)pensarmos as práticas docentes nos espaços envolvidos.

Abstract Exploring the theme of inclusive education requires that we discuss the training of teachers and their trainers, concerning the practices and meanings about human diversity. The goal of this paper is to analyze the training and practices of professors working in graduate courses with teaching degrees in relation to inclusive assumptions. In order to do so, the responses to the self-filling instrument applied in 26 professors who took part in the courses in Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Physics of two federal public universities were analyzed through the qualitative research approach described by González Rey. In general, the data show that the training of trainers referring to school inclusion and learning of students with special educational needs is little to none. Attitudinal barriers could also be noticed in some of the responses, demonstrating that this is a problem that is far from being overcome and constitutes an obstacle to the success of the inclusive process. In addition to these factors, it was evident that there is little institutional support and that the conditions for inclusion in the participating universities still require major changes for the process to be effective. We understand that the results can offer subsidies to a broaden discussion on the field of teacher training, also contributing to (re)thinking the teaching practices in the spaces involved.

RESUMO O tratamento da DPOC vem se tornando cada vez mais eficaz. Medidas que envolvem desde mudanças comportamentais, redução de exposições a fatores de risco, educação sobre a doença e seu curso, reabilitação, oxigenoterapia, manejo de comorbidades, tratamentos cirúrgicos e farmacológicos até os cuidados de fim de vida permitem ao profissional oferecer uma terapêutica personalizada e efetiva. O tratamento farmacológico da DPOC constitui um dos principais pilares desse manejo, e muitos avanços têm sido atingidos na área nos últimos anos. Com a maior disponibilidade de medicações e combinações terapêuticas fica cada vez mais desafiador conhecer as indicações, limitações, potenciais riscos e benefícios de cada tratamento. Com o intuito de avaliar criticamente a evidência recente e sistematizar as principais dúvidas referentes ao tratamento farmacológico da DPOC, foram reunidos 24 especialistas de todo o Brasil para elaborar a presente recomendação. Foi elaborado um guia visual para a classificação e tratamento adaptados à nossa realidade. Dez perguntas foram selecionadas pela relevância na prática clínica. Abordam a classificação, definições, tratamento e evidências disponíveis para cada medicação ou combinação. Cada pergunta foi respondida por dois especialistas e depois consolidadas em duas fases: revisão e consenso entre todos os participantes. As questões respondidas são dúvidas práticas e ajudam a selecionar qual o melhor tratamento, entre as muitas opções, para cada paciente com suas particularidades.

ABSTRACT The treatment of COPD has become increasingly effective. Measures that range from behavioral changes, reduction in exposure to risk factors, education about the disease and its course, rehabilitation, oxygen therapy, management of comorbidities, and surgical and pharmacological treatments to end-of-life care allow health professionals to provide a personalized and effective therapy. The pharmacological treatment of COPD is one of the cornerstones of COPD management, and there have been many advances in this area in recent years. Given the greater availability of drugs and therapeutic combinations, it has become increasingly challenging to know the indications for, limitations of, and potential risks and benefits of each treatment modality. In order to critically evaluate recent evidence and systematize the major questions regarding the pharmacological treatment of COPD, 24 specialists from all over Brazil gathered to develop the present recommendations. A visual guide was developed for the classification and treatment of COPD, both of which were adapted to fit the situation in Brazil. Ten questions were selected on the basis of their relevance in clinical practice. They address the classification, definitions, treatment, and evidence available for each drug or drug combination. Each question was answered by two specialists, and then the answers were consolidated in two phases: review and consensus by all participants. The questions answered are practical questions and help select from among the many options the best treatment for each patient and his/her peculiarities.
