In this paper we present a proposal for teaching basic aspects of quantum mechanics in high school. Our proposal is based on a wave approach that makes use of the analogies between wave phenomena at macroscopic scales and phenomena at atomic or subatomic scales. Although the classical and the quantum model are completely different, there is a common underlying wave mathematical layer. This allows to address, via analogies, quantum aspects that are not accessible to direct experience. The quantization of energy levels, the quantum interference and the uncertainty relations are examples of quantum aspects having an analog concept in classical physics wave phenomena. In our approach we break the wave-particle “duality”, which is totally counterintuitive. Instead we enhance the underlying wave mathematical structure as a path to reach and explain emerging features of particles and quantum systems in general.

The results of five focus groups with Adult High School (AHS) students to explore and characterize their interests to attend this institution are presented. Their Social Representations (SR) about the social and personal function of the AHS are explored. As a first approach to this issue, an inductive categorization was made from analysis of the printed transcript of the conversations, and the software Atlas.ti®. The results indicate that the SR identified do not allow these students to critically analyze if the school guides them to achieve their objectives. The results constitute the basis for conducting a survey. Also, the results indicate the need to consider the interests and SR of adults among the factors that must be considered to rethink the AHS.

Se presentan los resultados de cinco grupos focales realizados con estudiantes de la Escuela Secundaria de Adultos (ESA) para relevar y caracterizar sus intereses para asistir a esa institución. Se exploran sus Representaciones Sociales (RS) acerca de la función social y personal de la ESA. Como primera aproximación a la problemática, a partir del análisis de las transcripciones de los grupos focales implementados y del software ATLAS.ti®, se realizó una categorización inductiva de las respuestas. Los resultados indican que las RS identificadas no permiten a estos estudiantes analizar críticamente si la escuela los encamina a conseguir sus objetivos. Los resultados constituyen insumos para realizar una encuesta. También indican la necesidad de considerar a los intereses y a las RS de los adultos entre los factores que se deben tener en cuenta para repensar la ESA.

Este trabalho apresenta uma análise da experiência de fenda dupla com luz, utilizando conceitos do método de "Soma de vários caminhos" da formulação de Feynman da mecânica quântica. São analisadas as vantagens desta formulação para o ensino no nível médio de aspectos básicos da mecânica quântica.

This paper presents an analysis of the double slit experience with light, by using concepts of the Feynman method of "sum of multiple paths" in quantum mechanics. The advantages of this formulation for the teaching of basic aspects of quantum mechanics in the high-school level are analyzed.

This paper presents partial results of research that aimed to design, carry out and analyze the possibility of teaching mathematics based on the Study and Research Courses (SRC) in the secondary school. The implementation was carried out during one year, in a classroom of the last year of the secondary level (17-18 years old) during the normal classes, without realizing parallel classes. The questions of the SRC are related to the Microeconomics area, specifically to the point of balance of the simple supply-and-demand model. The Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD) was adopted as a framework and the concepts of SRC and the dialectics introduced by Chevallard (2001, 2007) were used. The process is described analyzing the functioning of the dialectic developed to manage the SRC and their advantages and disadvantages.

Este trabajo presenta resultados parciales de una investigación cuyo objetivo es diseñar, implementar y analizar las condiciones de posibilidad en la escuela secundaria, de una enseñanza de la Matemática basada en Recorridos de Estudio e Investigación (REI). La implementación se realizó durante un año completo, en un curso del último año del nivel secundario (17-18 años) durante las clases habituales, sin recurrir a actividades escolares paralelas al curso. Las preguntas del REI se refieren al área de la Microeconomía, específicamente, al punto de equilibrio de un modelo simple de oferta y demanda de un bien determinado. Se adoptó como referencial teórico la Teoría Antropológica de lo Didáctico (TAD) y se utilizaron los conceptos de REI y las dialécticas introducidas por Chevallard (2001, 2007). Se describió el proceso, analizando el funcionamiento de las dialécticas que permiten gestionar el REI, sus ventajas y sus desventajas.

Neste trabalho nós tentamos utilizar as ideias da Pedagogia da Investigação e do questionamento do Mundo e dos Percursos de Estudo e Investigação (PEI), para analisar duma maneira crítica o enfoque nomeado inquiry e suas declinações. Nós fazemos uma breve síntese histórica, para mostrar as declinações sucessivas da pesquisa tentando adaptar o ensino por investigação a "realidade" da escola. Nós avançamos nossa posição favorável a teoria antropológica do didático, entanto referencial teórico adequado para reinterpretar os problemas que o ensino por investigação tenta resolver, sem sucesso, porque carece duma perspectiva didática e dos fundamentos teóricos definidos.

In this paper we try to use the ideas of the pedagogy of the research and questioning the world and the Study and Research Paths (SRP) to analyze critically the approach called Inquiry. We have realized a brief historical synthesis showing the successive declines of the Inquiry approach when it has been adapted to the school "reality". We establish our position in favor of the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD) as a powerful theoretical frame to reinterpret the problems that the Inquiry tries to solve, without success, because it lacks a didactic perspective and defined theoretical foundations.

Dans ce travaille nous utilisons les notions de pédagogie de l'enquête et du questionnement du monde et de parcours d'étude et recherche (PER)pour analyser d'une manière critique l'approche génériquement nommé inquiry. Nous faisons une petite synthèse historique, pour montrer les déclinaisons successives de l'inquiry pour l'adapter à la "réalité" scolaire. Nous avançons notre position en faveur de la solidité et de la TAD comme cadre théorique, ainsi que son pouvoir pour réinterpréter des phénomènes, et aborder les problèmes et les difficultés que l'inquiry essaie de résoudre, sans réussir, parce qu'il manque d'une perspective didactique explicite et des fondements théoriques définis.

En este trabajo intentamos utilizar las nociones de Pedagogía de la Investigación y del Cuestionamiento del Mundo (PICM) y de Recorridos de Estudio e Investigación (REI) para analizar críticamente el enfoque genéricamente denominado inquiry y sus declinaciones. Realizamos una breve síntesis histórica para mostrar las sucesivas declinaciones del inquiry para adaptarlo a la "realidad" escolar. Adelantamos nuestra posición a favor de la solidez de la TAD como marco teórico y su potencia para reinterpretar los problemas que el inquiry pretende resolver, sin lograrlo, porque carece de una perspectiva didáctica y de fundamentos teóricos definidos.

Presenta resultados de una investigación en Enseñanza de la Mecánica Cuántica en la Escuela Media1.Desde referenciales didácticos y cognitivos se diseñó e implementó una secuencia de situaciones dirigidas a reconstruir sus conceptos y principios fundamentales, buscando conocer su viabilidad y adaptabilidad. La secuencia no sigue el enfoque tradicional, comienza y termina con la Experiencia de la Doble Rendija, produciendo la emergencia del comportamiento cuántico. La experiencia se analiza con proyectiles cuya masa se va reduciendo sucesivamente hasta llegar a los electrones. Se considera al electrón como el sistema cuántico más simple adaptando el enfoque Caminos Múltiples de Feynman para su estudio, utilizando software de simulación. Ya fueron analizados resultados relativos a la conceptualización. Se describen y analizan aspectos afectivos de los estudiantes, en base a la dinámica emocional del grupo, y sus sentimientos. Se establecen relaciones entre la conceptualización alcanzada y los aspectos afectivos implicados.

Researches on Quantum Mechanic at high school level are presented. From didactic and cognitive referential a sequence of situations was designed and implemented to reconstruct concepts and fundamental principles, looking for to know the viability and adaptability of the sequence. The sequence does not follow the traditional approach, it start and finish with the Double Slit Experience producing the emergence of the quantum behavior. The experience is proposed with projectiles which mass is reduced progressively to electrons. The electron is considered the simplest quantum system, and the approach Feynman’s Multiple Paths is adapted using simulation software. The results about conceptualization were analyzed already, and now the affective aspects of the students are described. The analysis is based on the emotional dynamic of the class group and students‘s feelings. Relationship between the achieved conceptualization and the affective aspects involved are established.

In this work a Mathematical Organization (MO) of reference relative to the notions: limit and continuity of real functions is reconstructed and described. It is proposed for an Economical and Administration Calculus course, in the first year at University. The adopted theoretical frame is the Anthropological Theory of Didactic (ATD) (Chevallard, 1999, 2001). The mathematical, social, and cultural sense (Bosch et. al., 2006) of this OM of reference is described. Finally, the practical-technical and technological-theoretical components of the OM are detailed; this is, the types of tasks, the mathematical techniques, the technologies and theory

En este trabajo se reconstruye y describe una Organización Matemática (OM) de referencia relativa a las nociones de límite y continuidad de funciones reales, para un curso de Cálculo del área Economía y Administración del primer año de la Universidad. El marco teórico adoptado es la Teoría Antropológica de lo Didáctico (TAD) (Chevallard, 1999, 2001). Se describe el sentido matemático, social, y cultural (Bosch et. al, 2006) de esta OM de referencia. Finalmente, se detallan los componentes prácticos-técnicos y tecnológicos-teóricos de la OM, es decir, los tipos de tareas, las técnicas matemáticas, las tecnologías y teoría.

This paper describes the process of development of a didactical sequence to teach basic concepts of quantum mechanics in secondary school. Basically, the didactical framework adopted is described. The different conceptual structures that have to be developed to approach the problem of how to teach basic concepts of quantum mechanics starting from the student's knowledge, respecting the student's place (freedom) and inviting him to take his own responsibility, this implies creating an emotional dynamic of acceptance into the classroom. The Conceptual Structure of Reference that must be defined by the researcher is described. The researcher analyzes the conceptual relationships existing in the scientific community where knowledge is generated and that he will adopt as his frame of reference, also, he must take into account the community where that knowledge will be reconstructed and the knowledge transformations that will be necessary for teaching. Briefly, the Conceptual Structure Proposed to Teach is described and some results obtained during the scholar implementation of the CSPT, related to the conceptualization and viability of the sequence, are discussed in general.

En este trabajo se describe el proceso de desarrollo de una secuencia didáctica para enseñar conceptos fundamentales de Mecánica Cuántica en la Secundaria. Fundamentalmente se describe el referencial didáctico que se asume. Se definen las distintas estructuras conceptuales que es necesario reconstruir para abordar el problema de cómo enseñar nociones cuánticas partiendo de la situación del alumno, respetando su lugar e invitándolo a que asuma su responsabilidad, es decir, generando una dinámica emocional de aceptación. Se describe la Estructura Conceptual de Referencia que es definida por el investigador. El analiza las relaciones conceptuales que viven en la Comunidad Científica que genera el conocimiento y que tomará como referencia, y a la vez, la comunidad en la que ese saber va a ser reconstruido y las transformaciones que serán necesarias para enseñarlo. Se describe brevemente la Estructura Conceptual propuesta para enseñar y se discuten de manera general algunos resultados obtenidos en la implementación escolar de la ECPE con relación a la conceptualización y a la viabilidad de la secuencia.
