ABSTRACT This study aimed to evaluate the effects of sunflower meal (SFM) inclusion on the performance, nutrient digestibility, and respirometric parameters in sheep. Twenty-four Dorper × Santa Inês uncastrated males, with an average age of 5 mo and initial body weight (BW) of 27.91±6.0 kg, were distributed in a randomized block design with four treatment diets containing 0, 100, 200, and 300 g of SFM/kg of total dry matter, replacing soybean meal. Intake, weight gain, ingestive behavior, and in vitro digestibility were evaluated according to the SFM inclusion. The respirometric parameters were evaluated in an open-circuit respirometric chamber. There was a quadratic response in dry matter intake expressed according to the SFM inclusion, with minimum points of 90.56 g/kg 0.75 BW for inclusion levels of 96 g of SFM/kg. A linear decrease in the in vivo digestibility of dry matter, neutral detergent fiber, and non-fibrous carbohydrate and in vitro fermentation of dry matter and fibrous carbohydrates was observed in response to SFM inclusion. These results reflect the higher fiber content of the byproduct, which reduced the non-fibrous carbohydrates in the diets. Despite the change in nutrient availability, average daily gain (299 g/day), O 2 consumption (26.24 L/kg 0.75 BW), and CH 4 production (2.25 L/kg 0.75 BW) were not influenced by the SFM inclusion, indicating that changes in the nutritional value of the diet did not affect the animals’ energetic metabolism. Sunflower meal inclusion decreased the digestibility but did not affect the animal gain and the respirometric parameters. The SFM can replace soybean meal in the diet of growing lambs; however, it has a maximum inclusion point of 88 g SFM/kg for feed conversion, which is a necessary factor for evaluating the replacement cost.

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to develop a Fuzzy Rule-Based System (FRBS) for the mathematically modeling of the irrigation level effect on beet cultivars ( Beta vulgaris L.). From an agronomic experiment carried out in a protected environment (greenhouse), it was defined as input variables, for each cultivar, the irrigation levels (depths of 25, 40, 55, 70, 85, and 100% of ETc), in which ETc is the crop evapotranspiration [mm d−1], while the output variables were productivity, root diameter, and plant height. Was adopted the inference method of Mamdani and centroid method for fuzzification. The fuzzy models performed better than polynomial regression models, when compared with the coefficients of determination (R2), mean absolute error (MAE) and root mean square error (RMSE). In addition, the excellent performance of the model is highlighted due to the curve containing all the points of the treatments means. As agronomic results, concluded that the Early Wonder cultivar has higher yields when submitted to water deficit.

Objective: To test the hypothesis that genetic variations of cannabinoid receptors contribute to the pathophysiology of cognitive deficits in schizophrenia. Methods: In this genetic association case-control study, cannabinoid receptor polymorphisms CNR1 rs12720071 and CNR2 rs2229579 were tested for association with neurocognitive performance in 69 patients with schizophrenia and 45 healthy controls. Neurocognition was assessed by the Brief Assessment of Cognition in Schizophrenia (BACS). Results: We found a consistent association between CNR1 rs12720071 polymorphism and the cognitive performance of patients in several cognitive domains. Patients with C/C polymorphism presented significantly worse performance in motor speed, verbal fluency, attention/processing speed and reasoning/problem solving. Conclusion: Although limited, our data support the hypothesis that CNR1 variations may be associated with the pathogenesis of cognitive deficits of schizophrenia.

ABSTRACT Objectives. To characterize how physical activity and sedentary behavior have been measured in national health surveys in South American countries. Methods. An extensive search was made for national health surveys from all 12 South American countries through health websites, national statistical offices, and contact with researchers and policy-makers. The following eligibility criteria were used to select surveys: conducted in a South American country; used a nationally representative sample ≥ 18 years; coordinated by the public, private or mixed private–public sector; and assessed physical activity and/or sedentary behavior. Data were extracted on general information about the surveys, specific details about the physical activity and sedentary behavior assessment, and additional questions related to activity behavior. Results. In total, 36 surveys were included, two of which were multicountry surveys; all surveys assessed physical activity and 27 assessed sedentary behavior. Most surveys (23/36; 64%) were based on previously validated international questionnaires, but 13 (57%) of these deviated from the reference tools, introducing changes and adaptations. Sedentary behavior was assessed mostly through questions on screen time and/or daily sitting time in the same physical activity questionnaires. No survey used device-based measures to generate data on these behaviors. Conclusions. Differences between instruments used and modifications limit the comparability of data across countries. This highlights the importance of standardizing assessment within South America for physical activity and sedentary behavior sections in national surveys, with the broader aim of contributing to establishing a standardized strategy for the surveillance of physical activity and sedentary behavior in South America.

RESUMO Objetivos. Caracterizar como a atividade física e o comportamento sedentário têm sido medidos em pesquisas nacionais de saúde em países sul-americanos. Métodos. Foi realizada uma busca extensa de pesquisas nacionais de saúde de todos os 12 países sul-americanos em sites de saúde e órgãos nacionais de estatística, e pelo contato com pesquisadores e formuladores de políticas. Foram usados os seguintes critérios de elegibilidade para selecionar as pesquisas: conduzida em um país sul-americano; que tenha usado uma amostra nacionalmente representativa ≥ 18 anos; coordenada pelo setor público, privado ou público-privado; e que tenha avaliado a atividade física e/ou o comportamento sedentário. Os dados extraídos eram sobre informações gerais das pesquisas, detalhes específicos sobre a avaliação da atividade física e do comportamento sedentário e questões adicionais relacionadas ao comportamento na atividade. Resultados. Ao todo, 36 pesquisas foram incluídas, duas das quais foram conduzidas em vários países. Todas as pesquisas avaliaram a atividade física e 27 avaliaram o comportamento sedentário. A maioria das pesquisas (23/36; 64%) baseou-se em questionários internacionais previamente validados e 13 (57%) delas se desviaram das ferramentas de referência, introduzindo mudanças e adaptações. O comportamento sedentário foi avaliado principalmente por meio de perguntas sobre tempo de tela e/ou tempo diário sentado nos mesmos questionários sobre atividade física. Nenhuma pesquisa utilizou medições realizadas por dispositivos para gerar dados sobre esses comportamentos. Conclusões. As diferenças entre os instrumentos usados e as modificações limitam a comparabilidade dos dados entre os países, o que destaca a importância de padronizar a avaliação na América do Sul para as seções de atividade física e comportamento sedentário em pesquisas nacionais, com o objetivo mais amplo de contribuir para o estabelecimento de uma estratégia padronizada para a vigilância da atividade física e do comportamento sedentário na América do Sul.

RESUMEN Objetivos. Describir cómo se han medido la actividad física y el sedentarismo en las encuestas nacionales de salud en los países de América del Sur. Métodos. Se llevó a cabo una extensa búsqueda de encuestas nacionales de salud de los doce países sudamericanos en sitios web de salud, oficinas nacionales de estadística y mediante el contacto con investigadores y responsables de formular políticas. Para escoger las encuestas se emplearon los siguientes criterios de selección: realizada en un país sudamericano; muestra representativa a nivel nacional de ≥ 18 años; coordinada por el sector público, el sector privado o mixto público-privado; y evaluación de la actividad física o el sedentarismo. Se extrajeron datos como información general de las encuestas, detalles específicos de la evaluación de la actividad física y el sedentarismo, y otras preguntas relacionadas con la actividad física. Resultados. En total, se incluyeron 36 encuestas, dos de las cuales se realizaron en varios países. Todas las encuestas evaluaron la actividad física; 27, el sedentarismo. La mayoría de las encuestas (23/36; 64%) se basaron en cuestionarios internacionales anteriormente validados, de los cuales 13 (57%) se desviaron de las herramientas de referencia al tener cambios y adaptaciones. El sedentarismo se evaluó principalmente en los mismos cuestionarios de actividad física mediante preguntas sobre el tiempo invertido delante de pantallas o el tiempo diario sentado. Ninguna encuesta aplicó medidas basadas en dispositivos para obtener datos sobre estos comportamientos. Conclusiones. Las diferencias entre los instrumentos empleados y las modificaciones limitan la comparabilidad de los datos en todos los países. Esto pone de relieve la importancia de estandarizar la evaluación en América del Sur de las secciones dedicadas a la actividad física y al sedentarismo en las encuestas nacionales, con el objetivo general de contribuir a la creación de una estrategia estandarizada para la vigilancia de la actividad física y el sedentarismo en América del Sur.

Abstract Antarctic plant communities show a close relationship with soil types across the landscape, where vegetation cover changes, biological influence, and soil characteristics can affect the dynamic of greenhouse gases emissions. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate greenhouse gases emissions in lab conditions of ice-free areas along a topographic gradient (from sea level up to 300 meters). We selected 11 distinct vegetation compositions areas and assessed greenhouse gases production potentials through 20 days of laboratory incubations varying temperatures at -2, 4, 6, and 22 °C. High N2O production potential was associated with the Phanerogamic Community under the strong ornithogenic influence (phosphorus, nitrogen, and organic matter contents). Seven different areas acted as N2O sink at a temperature of -2 °C, demonstrating the impact of low-temperature conditions contributing to store N in soils. Moss Carpets had the highest CH4 emissions and low CO2 production potential. Fruticose Lichens had a CH4 sink effect and the highest values of CO2. The low rate of organic matter provided the CO2 sink effect on the bare soil (up to 6 °C). There is an overall trend of increasing greenhouse gases production potential with increasing temperature along a toposequence.

Abstract The geomorphic dynamics on ice-free areas are crucial for understanding soil formation, vegetation and landscape stability in maritime Antarctic. We aimed to describe the soil formation on different landforms, following the Holocene glacial retreat at Stinker Point. Twenty profiles were sampled and classified, grouped into three landforms units: middle platforms and scarps, till/glacial deposits and present/Holocene raised beaches. Soil chemical and physical attributes were determined, and the vegetation type identified and quantified. Soils from till and glacial deposits can be separated by the age of exposure: older soils are stony, skeletic; and recently exposed till has soils with moderate depth, alkaline reaction and very high base saturation. Soils at the middle platforms are shallow, coarse-grained, skeletic, with abundant vegetation. Soils from the present-day beaches are alkaline, very coarse with no horizon differentiation, whereas soils on Holocene beaches are acid and nutrient-rich due to past or present-day influence of fauna. Soils from Stinker Point are generally shallow, skeletic and strongly related to the landforms and biogenic influences. Compared with other islands of the South Shetlands, in Elephant Island soil development is less pronounced, being this mainly attributed to the metamorphic nature of parent material, with greater resistance to weathering.

Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) was employed for the generation of porous niobium-containing surfaces with enhanced photocatalytic activity. Pulses of 500 and 600 V, with a repetition rate of 60 Hz, were applied to titanium disks immersed in niobium-containing electrolytic solutions. The treatment time ranged from 180 to 600 s, and the surface morphology was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy, while X-ray diffraction was employed in the evaluation of crystallographic structure. The optical gap of the samples was determined from UV-Vis reflection spectra, and an automated goniometer was used for contact angle and surface energy measurements. More than 35% of Nb has been incorporated into the samples. Under certain conditions, the treatments resulted in a reduction of the optical gap from 3.18 to 2.63 eV as compared to as-received samples. Photocatalytic degradation rates of methylene blue as high as 70% have been reached after 120 minutes under irradiation with UV-Vis light.

Resumo Fundamento O maior risco de se desenvolver diabetes com o uso de estatinas é um desafio para a segurança do uso dessa classe de medicamentos em longo prazo. No entanto, poucos estudos analisaram essa questão durante síndromes coronarianas agudas (SCA). Objetivos Investigar a associação entre início precoce da terapia com estatina e níveis de glicemia em pacientes admitidos com SCA. Métodos Este foi um estudo retrospectivo de pacientes hospitalizados por SCA. Pacientes que nunca haviam usado estatinas foram incluídos e divididos segundo uso ou não de estatina nas primeiras 24 horas de internação. O desfecho primário foi a incidência de hiperglicemia na internação (definida como pico de glicemia > 200mg/dL). Modelos de regressão logística e modelos lineares multivariados foram usados para ajuste quanto a fatores de confusão e um modelo de pareamento por escore de propensão foi desenvolvido para comparações entre os dois grupos de interesses. Um valor de p menor que 0,05 foi considerado estatisticamente significativo. Resultados Um total de 2357 pacientes foram incluídos, 1704 deles alocados no grupo que receberam estatinas e 653 no grupo que não receberam estatinas nas primeiras 24 horas de internação. Após os ajustes, uso de estatina nas primeiras 24 horas foi associado com uma menor incidência de hiperglicemia durante a internação (OR ajustado = 0,61, IC95% 0,46-0,80; p < 0,001) e menor necessidade de uso de insulina (OR ajustado = 0,56, IC 95% 0,41-0,76; p < 0,001). Essas associações mantiveram-se similares nos modelos de pareamento por escore de propensão, bem como após análises de sensibilidade, como exclusão de pacientes que desenvolveram choque cardiogênico, infecção grave ou pacientes que foram a óbito durante a internação hospitalar. Conclusões Entre os pacientes internados com SCA que não receberam estatinas previamente, a terapia precoce com estatina associou-se independentemente com menor incidência de hiperglicemia durante a internação. Abstract Background Increased risk of new-onset diabetes with statins challenges the long-term safety of this drug class. However, few reports have analyzed this issue during acute coronary syndromes (ACS). Objective To explore the association between early initiation of statin therapy and blood glucose levels in patients admitted with ACS. Methods This was a retrospective analysis of patients hospitalized with ACS. Statin-naïve patients were included and divided according to their use or not of statins within the first 24 hours of hospitalization. The primary endpoint was incidence of in-hospital hyperglycemia (defined as peak blood glucose > 200 mg/dL). Multivariable linear and logistic regression models were used to adjust for confounders, and a propensity-score matching model was developed to further compare both groups of interest. A p-value of less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results A total of 2,357 patients were included, 1,704 of them allocated in the statin group and 653 in the non-statin group. After adjustments, statin use in the first 24 hours was associated with a lower incidence of in-hospital hyperglycemia (adjusted OR=0.61, 95% CI 0.46-0.80; p < 0.001) and lower need for insulin therapy (adjusted OR = 0.56, 95% CI 0.41-0.76; p < 0.001). These associations remained similar in the propensity-score matching models, as well as after several sensitivity analyses, such as after excluding patients who developed cardiogenic shock, severe infection or who died during index-hospitalization. Conclusions Among statin-naïve patients admitted with ACS, early statin therapy was independently associated with lower incidence of in-hospital hyperglycemia. OBJECTIVES: Returning to work after an episode of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is challenging for many patients, and has both personal and social impacts. There are limited data regarding the working status in the very long-term after ACS. METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed 1,632 patients who were working prior to hospitalization for ACS in a quaternary hospital and were followed-up for up to 17 years. Adjusted models were developed to analyze the variables independently associated with actively working at the last contact, and a prognostic predictive index for not working at follow-up was developed. RESULTS: The following variables were significantly and independently associated with actively working at the last contact: age>median (hazard-ratio [HR], 0.76, p<0.001); male sex (HR, 1.52, p<0.001); government health insurance (HR, 1.36, p<0.001); history of angina (HR, 0.69, p<0.001) or myocardial infarction (MI) (HR, 0.76, p=0.005); smoking (HR, 0.81, p=0.015); ST-elevation MI (HR, 0.81, p=0.021); anterior-wall MI (HR, 0.75, p=0.001); non-primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) (HR, 0.77, p=0.002); fibrinolysis (HR, 0.61, p<0.001); cardiogenic shock (HR, 0.60, p=0.023); statin (HR, 3.01, p<0.001), beta-blocker (HR, 1.26, p=0.020), angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor/angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) (HR, 1.37, p=0.001) at hospital discharge; and MI at follow-up (HR, 0.72, p=0.001). The probability of not working at the last contact ranged from 24.2% for patients with no variables, up to 80% for patients with six or more variables. CONCLUSIONS: In patients discharged after ACS, prior and in-hospital clinical variables, as well as the quality of care at discharge, have a great impact on the long-term probability of actively working.

Abstract This work is a Brazilian-Indian collaboration. It aims at investigating the structural properties of Lenticular galaxies in the Stripe 82 using a combination of S-PLUS (Southern Photometric Local Universe Survey) and SDSS data. S-PLUS is a novel optical multi-wavelength survey which will cover nearly 8000 square degrees of the Southern hemisphere in the next years and the first data release covers the Stripe 82 area. The morphological classification and study of the galaxies’ stellar population will be performed combining the Bayesian Spectral type (from BPZ) and Morfometryka (MFMTK) parameters. BPZ and MFMTK are two complementary techniques, since the first one determines the most likely stellar population of a galaxy, in order to obtain its photometric redshift (phot-z), and the second one recovers non-parametric morphological quantities, such as asymmetries and concentration. The combination of the two methods allows us to explore the correlation between galaxies shapes (smooth, with spiral arms, etc.) and their stellar contents (old or young population). The preliminary results, presented in this work, show how this novel data set opens a new window on our understanding of the nearby universe.

RESUMO Pityrocarpa moniliformis (Benth.) Luckow & R. W. Jobson (Fabaceae) é uma espécie nativa do Brasil com alto potencial em programas de desenvolvimento econômico em regiões semiáridas, principalmente relacionado à produção de mel, alimentação animal e madeira para lenha. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi selecionar marcadores moleculares Inter-Simple Sequence Repeat (ISSR) para estudos de diversidade genética, bem como testar a eficiência desta abordagem na quantificação da diversidade genética de uma população natural de P. moniliformis. Para isso, testaram-se 28 marcadores moleculares ISSR, avaliando-se o número total de locos, taxa de polimorfismo e o valor de conteúdo de informação polimórfica (PIC) para os iniciadores selecionados, bem como o índice de marcador e o poder de resolução. Os parâmetros de diversidade genética (distância genética de Nei e índice de Shannon) foram avaliados em 30 indivíduos localizados em Macaíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil. Foram selecionados sete iniciadores que forneceram 74 locos, sendo 82% polimórficos, enquanto o valor de PIC foi de 0,344. A distância genética de Nei foi de 0,244 e o índice de Shannon, de 0,374. Portanto, marcadores moleculares ISSR (UBC 827, 840, 844, 857, 859, 860 e 873) são considerados eficientes nos estudos de diversidade genética de populações, seleção de matrizes e bancos de germoplasma, e podem contribuir para a conservação e o melhoramento genético em populações de P. moniliformis.

ABSTRACT Pityrocarpa moniliformis (Benth.) Luckow & R. W. Jobson (Fabaceae) is a native brazilian species with high potential for economic development programs in semiarid regions, mainly related to the production of honey, animal food and firewood. Thus, the objective of this work was to select Inter-Simple Sequence Repeat (ISSR) molecular markers for genetic diversity studies, as well as to test the efficiency of this approach in quantifying the genetic diversity of a natural P. moniliformis population. For this, 28 ISSR molecular markers were tested, evaluating the total number of loci, polymorphism rate and the Polymorphism Information Content (PIC) for the selected primers, the “Marker Index”, and the “Resolving Power”. Genetic diversity parameters (Nei genetic distance and Shannon index) were evaluated for 30 individuals located in Macaíba, Rio Grande do Norte State, Brazil. Seven primers were selected, which provided 74 loci, with 82% being polymorphic, while the PIC value was 0.344. The Nei genetic distance was 0.244, and the Shannon index was 0.374. Therefore, ISSR molecular markers (UBC 827, 840, 844, 857, 859, 860 and 873) are considered efficient in studying the genetic diversity of populations for the selection of matrices and germplasm banks, and may contribute to the conservation and genetic improvement of P. moniliformis populations.

RESUMO Neste trabalho, apresentamos construçõoes de reticulados algébricos no espaço euclidiano com densidade central ótima nas dimensões 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 e 12, que são versões rotacionadas dos reticulados Λ n , para n = 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 8 e K 12, onde esses reticulados algébricos são construídos através do homomorfismo canônico via ℤ-módulos do anel de inteiros algébricos de um corpo de números.

ABSTRACT In this work, we present constructions of algebraic lattices in Euclidean space with optimal center density in dimensions 2;3;4;5;6;8 and 12, which are rotated versions of the lattices Λ n , for n = 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 8 and K 12. These algebraic lattices are constructed through canonical homomorphism via ℤ-modules of the ring of algebraic integers of a number field.

Abstract The objective of this work was to compile and synthesize information about the diversity and distribution of epiphytic angiosperms in Veracruz State to obtain updated data of this important plant group. Based on the revision of herbarium material and specialized literature, as well as the collection of botanical specimens, we recorded a total of 21 families, 142 genera and 569 species. The families with highest species richness were Orchidaceae, Bromeliaceae and Piperaceae, whereas the genera with most taxones were Tillandsia, Peperomia and Epidendrum. Most of the species are distributed in the tropical rainforest (287) and humid montane forest (285), in an altitudinal range between 0 to 1,500 m asl. This information can be used for the study of specific epiphyte groups and to propose management and conservation plans, as many of these plants are particularly sensitive to changes caused by anthropic disturbances.

Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo fue compilar y sintetizar la información sobre la diversidad y distribución de las angiospermas epífitas del estado de Veracruz para obtener datos actualizados de este importante grupo vegetal. Con base en la revisión de material de herbario y literatura especializada, así como en la recolección de ejemplares botánicos, se registraron un total de 21 familias, 142 géneros y 569 especies. Las familias con mayor riqueza de especies fueron Orchidaceae, Bromeliaceae y Piperaceae, mientras que los géneros con mayor número de taxones fueron Tillandsia, Peperomia y Epidendrum. La mayoría de las especies se distribuyen en el bosque tropical perennifolio (287) y bosque mesófilo de montaña (285), en un intervalo altitudinal que va de 0 a 1,500 m snm. Esta información puede ser utilizada para el estudio de grupos específicos de epífitas y para proponer planes de manejo y conservación, ya que un gran número de estas plantas son particularmente sensibles a los cambios ocasionados por perturbaciones antrópicas.

Resumo Este estudo tem como objetivo desenvolver três argamassas estabilizadas para alvenaria com aditivo incorporador de ar e plastificante retardador de pega para comparar com uma argamassa convencional com cal. Foi analisado o índice de consistência, a massa específica, o teor de ar incorporado, a retenção da água, o tempo de pega através do calor de hidratação, a retração/expansão da argamassa, a resistência à compressão, a resistência ao sulfato e a resistência de aderência à tração. Os resultados mostraram que a presença do plastificante retardador de pega afetou o índice de consistência, tornando a argamassa trabalhável por mais tempo. A presença de aditivos tornou as argamassas estabilizadas mais leves, com menor densidade e maior teor de ar incorporado. A presença da cal proporcionou alta retenção de água na argamassa convencional, enquanto o plastificante retardador de pega melhorou a retenção de água nas argamassas estabilizadas. O tempo inicial de pega das argamassas estabilizadas ocorreu após aproximadamente 50 horas. A argamassa convencional perdeu sua trabalhabilidade rapidamente após 2 horas. Na argamassa convencional, ocorreu retração, enquanto que nas argamassas estabilizadas houve expansão. A argamassa convencional apresentou melhor resistência à compressão, enquanto que o excesso de aditivos pode ter afetado negativamente essa propriedade nas argamassas estabilizadas. A argamassa convencional mostrou-se menos resistente ao ataque por sulfato. A resistência de aderência à tração foi melhor na argamassa comercial estabilizada testada.

Abstract This study aims to develop three stabilized mortars to masonry using air entraining agents and settling retardant plasticizer to compare with a conventional mortar with lime. It was analyzed consistency index, specific gravity, air entrained content, water retentivity, setting time through the heat of hydration, mortar shrinkage/expansion, compressive strength, resistance to sulphate and tensile strength in bonding. The results exhibited that the presence of the settling retardant plasticizer affected the consistency index making the mortar more workable for a longer time. The presence of additives made the stabilized mortars lighter with lower mass density and higher incorporated air content. The presence of lime provided high water retentivity in the conventional mortar while the setting retardant plasticizer improved the water retentivity in the stabilized mortars. The initial setting time of the stabilized mortars occurred after approximately 50 hours. Conventional mortar lost its workability quickly after 2 hours. In conventional mortar, shrinkage occurred, while stabilized mortars had expansion. The conventional mortar exhibited better compressive strength, while the excess of additives can affected negatively this property in the stabilized mortars. Conventional mortar proved to be less resistant to sulphate attack. Tensile strength in bonding was better in a stabilized commercial mortar tested.
