Abstract Introduction Tinnitus is a conscious perception of a sound resulting from abnormal activity within the nervous system. A relevant percentage of tinnitus patients report symptoms severe enough to significantly affect quality of life, including sleep disorders. Objectives To analyze the sleep quality, insomnia, daytime sleepiness, and risk of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in participants with tinnitus. Methods The sample comprised 18 adults and older adults aged between 18 and 85 years old (mean age = 58.7 ± 17.5 years old), females and males, with complaint of continuous tinnitus for > 1 month. The instruments used were the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) questionnaire, the Insomnia Severity Index, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, the Epworth Sleepiness Scale, and the STOP-Bang questionnaire. Results By means of the THI questionnaire, the tinnitus severity degree reported by most participants was mild (27.8%) and moderate (27.8%), having a positive (r = 0.582) and significant (0.011) correlation to sleep quality, measured by means of the Pittsburgh questionnaire. There was a positive correlation between the Insomnia Severity Index and tinnitus handicap (r = 0.499; p = 0.035). A total of 72.2% of the participants self-assessed their sleep quality as poor, in addition to moderate insomnia (27.8%), although there is low risk of OSA (66.7%), without complaints of excessive daytime sleepiness (72.2%). Conclusion Subjects with tinnitus complaint self-rated their sleep quality as poor. Moreover, the higher the reported tinnitus handicap, the greater the symptoms of insomnia. There was no influence of tinnitus in relation to daytime sleepiness and no relationship between the severity of tinnitus and the risk of OSA.

ABSTRACT Objective: Intrauterine environment can induce fetal metabolic programming that predisposes to adiposity-related chronic diseases in its lifespan. We examined the associations of parental nutritional status and gestational weight gain with offspring body composition in early adulthood. Materials and methods: This is cross-sectional analysis of female participants of the NutriHS who were submitted to questionnaires, clinical examinations and body composition assessed by DXA. Association of pre-conception parental BMI and maternal gestational weight gain (exposures) with body composition measurements (outcomes) were analyzed using multiple linear models adjusted for Directed Acyclic Graphs-based covariables (maternal and paternal educational level, maternal age, and tobacco, alcohol and/or drugs use). The sample included 124 women (median 28 (24-31) years) with a mean BMI of 25.4 ± 4.7 kg/m2. Results: No association between previous paternal BMI and offspring’s body composition was detected. In the fully adjusted linear regression model, maternal BMI was associated with offspring’s total lean mass (β = 0.66, p = 0.001), appendicular skeletal muscle mass index (ASMI) (β = 0.11, p = 0.003) and fat mass index (FMI) (β = 0.03, p = 0.039). Gestational weight gain was associated with increased offspring’s BMI (OR 1.12 [95% CI 1.02-1.20], p = 0.01). The linear regression model adjusted for maternal age and maternal and paternal education levels showed associations of gestational weight gain with offspring’s ASMI (β = 0.42, p = 0.046), FMI (β = 0.22, p = 0.005) and android-to-gynoid fat ratio (β = 0.09, p = 0.035). Conclusion: Our findings suggest that preconception maternal BMI could influence lean mass and general adiposity of young adult female offspring and that gestational weight gain could be useful for predicting centrally distributed adiposity.

Abstract Background The diet’s inorganic nitrate (NO3–) may provide a physiological substrate for reducing nitrate (NO2–) to NO independent of the endothelium. Studies suggest that inorganic NO3– has beneficial effects on cardiovascular health. Objective This study evaluated the acute effects of 500 mL nitrate-rich beetroot juice (BRJ; containing 11.5mmol NO3–) on blood pressure and endothelial function in treated hypertensive patients. Methods A randomized, placebo-controlled, crossover study was conducted in treated hypertensive patients (n=37; women=62%) who underwent clinical and nutritional evaluation and assessment of central hemodynamic parameters and microvascular reactivity. The significance level was p<0.05. Results The mean age was 59±7 years, and mean systolic and diastolic blood pressures were 142±10/83±9mmHg. There was a significant increase in the subendocardial viability ratio (SEVR; 149±25 vs. 165±30%, p<0.001) and reduction in ejection duration (ED; 37±4 vs. 34±4%, p<0.001) in the beetroot phase but no significant SEVR difference in the control phase. The % increase in perfusion (155 vs. 159 %, p=0.042) was significantly increased in the beetroot phase, which was not observed in the control phase. In the beetroot phase, the change in SEVR showed a significant correlation with the change in the area under the curve of post-occlusive reactive hyperemia (AUC-PORH) (r=0.45, p=0.012). The change in ED showed a significant correlation with the post-intervention perfusion peak (r=-0.37, p=0.031) and AUC-PORH (r=-0.36, p=0.046). Conclusions The acute ingestion of BRJ by hypertensive patients resulted in an improvement of endothelial function, which was associated with higher subendocardial viability and performance in myocardial contraction.

Resumo Fundamento O nitrato inorgânico (NO3–) da dieta pode fornecer substrato fisiológico para reduzir o nitrito (NO2–) a óxido nítrico (NO) independente do endotélio. Estudos sugerem que o NO3– inorgânico tem efeitos benéficos na saúde cardiovascular. Objetivos Este estudo avaliou os efeitos agudos de 500 mL de suco de beterraba rico em nitrato (SB; contendo 11,5mmol NO3–) na pressão arterial e na função endotelial em pacientes hipertensos tratados. Métodos Estudo cruzado, randomizado, controlado por placebo foi realizado em pacientes hipertensos tratados (n=37; mulheres=62%) que foram submetidos à avaliação clínica e nutricional, avaliação dos parâmetros hemodinâmicos centrais e reatividade microvascular. O nível de significância foi p<0,05. Resultados A média de idade foi 59±7 anos e das pressões sistólica e diastólica foi de 142±10/83±9 mmHg. Houve aumento significativo na taxa de viabilidade subendocárdica (RVSE; 149±25 vs. 165±30%, p<0,001) e redução na duração da ejeção (DE; 37±4 vs. 34±4%, p<0,001) na fase beterraba, mas nenhuma diferença significativa de RVSE na fase controle. O % de aumento na perfusão (155 vs. 159%, p=0,042) cresceu significativamente na fase beterraba, o que não foi observado na fase controle. Na fase beterraba, a alteração da RVSE apresentou correlação significativa com a alteração da área sob a curva de hiperemia reativa pós-oclusiva (ASC-HRPO) (r=0,45, p=0,012). A mudança na DE mostrou uma correlação significativa com pico de perfusão pós-intervenção (r=-0,37, p=0,031) e ASC-HRPO (r=-0,36, p=0,046). Conclusão A ingestão aguda de SB por pacientes hipertensos resultou em melhora da função endotelial, que foi associada à maior viabilidade subendocárdica e desempenho na contração miocárdica.

ABSTRACT Purpose: to implement and assess hearing health interventions for school students, using Dangerous Decibels® Program activities in partnership with the Young Doctor Project, approaching noise-induced hearing loss prevention. Methods: the study encompassed 41 students, aged 12 to 14 years, from two schools in inland São Paulo and a social institution for public school students. Activities were based on the Young Doctor Project and the Dangerous Decibels® Brazil Program. The students answered a questionnaire administered in three situations: before the intervention (pre), right after the intervention (post), and 4 months after the intervention. The ANOVA, Friedman (p < 0.001), and Tukey´s (p < 0.05) statistical tests were used. Results: the 41 students who participated in the program were protagonists of knowledge, spreading the content they learned to another 954 students in the three schools through cultural workshops. The analysis of program effectiveness revealed improved results right after the intervention and 4 months afterward. Conclusion: combining these two programs encouraged the protagonism of young people to increase their involvement with the community. Moreover, the students changed their attitude toward potentially dangerous sounds.

RESUMO Objetivo: implementar e avaliar intervenções em saúde auditiva para escolares, utilizando as atividades do Programa Dangerous Decibels ®, em parceria com o Projeto Jovem Doutor, abordando aspectos preventivos da perda auditiva induzida por níveis de pressão sonora elevados. Métodos: participaram do estudo 41 escolares, com idade entre 12 e 14 anos, de duas escolas no interior de São Paulo e uma Instituição Social direcionada a estudantes de escolas públicas. As atividades foram baseadas no Projeto Jovem Doutor e no programa Dangerous Decibels ® Brasil. Os escolares responderam a um questionário aplicado em três situações, antes da intervenção (pré), logo após a intervenção (pós) e quatro meses após a intervenção. Foram utilizados os testes estatísticos ANOVA, FRIEDMAN; p<0,001 e TUKEY; p<0,05. Resultados: os 41 escolares que participaram do programa atuaram como protagonistas do conhecimento, multiplicando o conteúdo aprendido através das oficinas culturais, envolvendo 954 escolares das três escolas. Ao analisar a eficácia do programa, observou-se melhora nos resultados logo após a intervenção e, também, após 4 meses. Conclusão: a união desses dois programas incentivou o protagonismo juvenil, objetivando o maior envolvimento dos estudantes junto da comunidade. Foi possível observar a mudança de atitude dos escolares frente aos sons potencialmente perigosos.

Abstract Bauhinia forficata Link aqueous extract is usually recommended as a phytomedicine to reduce blood glucose levels and its biological activity has been linked to the presence of phenolic compounds from B. forficata preparations. Several drying processes are used in the production of dry herbal extracts, which may influence the chemical composition and efficacy of final herbal medicines. Due to significant chemical changes, defining appropriate drying processes is essential for phytopharmaceutical drug development. In view of this, we analyzed dried B. forficata leaf infusion (BFLI) extracts by HPLC-UV-MSn, followed by molecular networking analysis to evaluate the chemical profiles from dried extracts yielded by freeze-and spray-drying processes. The main metabolites detected included 11 ferulic/isoferulic acid derivatives and 13 glycosylated flavonoids. The qualitative chemical profiles were alike for both drying processes, whereas the relative abundance of some flavonoids was higher using spray-drying. Taken together, our results showed that freeze-and spray-drying preserved the phenolic profile of BFLI and suggested that spray-drying may be the most suitable to obtain its dried products. Along with studying the chemical profiles of dried herbal extracts, evaluating the influence of drying processes on the quality and chemical profiles of final products is pivotal and may benefit future research.

RESUMO A infecção por SARS-CoV-2 pode ocasionar a síndrome respiratória aguda grave (SRAG), levando a hipoxemia. A avaliação da capacidade física pode ser realizada anteriormente à alta hospitalar, através de testes de exercícios submáximos. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a capacidade física e a tolerância ao exercício físico por meio do teste de degrau de seis minutos (TD6) em pacientes hospitalizados com diagnóstico de COVID-19 que fizeram uso de suporte de oxigênio (O2) durante a internação. Trata-se de um estudo prospectivo e intervencionista, incluindo pacientes com idade entre 18 e 90 anos, que necessitaram de oxigenoterapia durante a hospitalização. Foi realizada avaliação através do Perme escore, seguida do TD6, com análise da saturação periférica de oxigênio (SpO2), frequência cardíaca (FC), pressão arterial (PA) e percepção subjetiva do esforço através da escala de Borg, antes e imediatamente após o TD6. Foram avaliados 31 pacientes, com idade média de 51,9 anos. O dispositivo de O2 mais utilizado foi o cateter nasal (CN), em 64,5% dos pacientes. Em relação à FC, PA e escala de Borg, pudemos observar um aumento no valor médio dessas variáveis após o TD6. A SpO2 teve uma média menor quando comparada à avaliação inicial do TD6. O teste foi finalizado por 86,9% dos pacientes, sendo que, destes, 48,3% finalizaram com interrupções; 12,9% dos participantes suspenderam o teste. O TD6 foi capaz de avaliar a capacidade física e a tolerância ao exercício, tornando-se uma ferramenta eficaz para avaliação do paciente com COVID-19.

ABSTRACT SARS-CoV-2 infection can cause severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), leading to hypoxemia. Physical capacity assessment can be performed before hospital discharge using submaximal exercise testing. This study sought to assess physical capacity and exercise tolerance with the six-minute step test (6MST) in hospitalized COVID-19 patients who required oxygen (O2) support during hospitalization. A prospective, interventional study was conducted with patients aged from 18 to 90 years who required oxygen therapy during hospitalization. Assessment was performed using Perme Score, followed by the 6MST tests, assessing the peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP), and subjective exertion perception by Borg Scale, before and immediately after the 6MST. A total of 31 patients, with a mean age of 51.9 years, were evaluated. Nasal cannula (NC) was the most used device (64.5% of patients). Regarding HR, BP, and Borg Scale, their mean value increased after 6MST. SpO2 showed a lower mean value after 6MST. Out of the 86.9% of patients who completed the test, 48.3% completed it with interruptions, and 12.9% had to suspend it. The 6MST was able to assess physical capacity and exercise tolerance, proving to be an effective tool for evaluating COVID-19 patients.

RESUMEN La infección por SARS-CoV-2 puede provocar el síndrome respiratorio agudo severo (SRAS), resultando en hipoxemia. La evaluación de la capacidad física se puede realizar antes del alta hospitalaria mediante pruebas de ejercicio submáximas. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la capacidad física y la tolerancia al ejercicio a través del test de escalón de seis minutos (TE6) en pacientes hospitalizados por Covid-19 que utilizaron soporte de oxígeno (O2) durante la hospitalización. Se trata de un estudio prospectivo e intervencionista, en el que se incluyeron a pacientes con edades entre los 18 y los 90 años, que necesitaron la oxigenoterapia durante su hospitalización. La evaluación se realizó mediante el puntaje de Perme, seguido del TE6, con análisis de saturación de oxígeno periférico (SpO2), frecuencia cardíaca (FC), presión arterial (PA) y esfuerzo percibido mediante la escala de Borg, antes e inmediatamente después del TE6. Se evaluaron a 31 pacientes, con una edad media de 51,9 años. El dispositivo de O2 más utilizado fue el catéter nasal (CN) por el 64,5% de los pacientes. Con relación a la FC, PA y la escala de Borg, se observa un aumento en el valor medio de estas variables después del TE6. La SpO2 tuvo una media más baja en comparación con la evaluación inicial del TE6. El 86,9% de los pacientes completaron el test, de los cuales el 48,3% terminó con interrupciones; y el 12,9% lo suspendió. El TE6 pudo evaluar la capacidad física y la tolerancia al ejercicio, lo que resulta ser una herramienta eficaz para evaluar a los pacientes con Covid-19.

Abstract The Brazilian Practice Guidelines for Stroke Rehabilitation – Part II, developed by the Scientific Department of Neurological Rehabilitation of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology (Academia Brasileira de Neurologia, in Portuguese), focuses on specific rehabilitation techniques to aid recovery from impairment and disability after stroke. As in Part I, Part II is also based on recently available evidence from randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and other guidelines. Part II covers disorders of communication, dysphagia, postural control and balance, ataxias, spasticity, upper limb rehabilitation, gait, cognition, unilateral spatial neglect, sensory impairments, home rehabilitation, medication adherence, palliative care, cerebrovascular events related to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, the future of stroke rehabilitation, and stroke websites to support patients and caregivers. Our goal is to provide health professionals with more recent knowledge and recommendations for better rehabilitation care after stroke.

Resumo As Diretrizes Brasileiras de Reabilitação do Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC) - Parte II, desenvolvida pelo Departamento Científico de Reabilitação Neurológica da Academia Brasileira de Neurologia é voltada para intervenções específicas de técnicas de reabilitação de déficits neurológicos e incapacidades. Seguindo o mesmo modelo da Parte I, a Parte II também se baseia em estudos randomizados, revisões sistemáticas, metanálises e outras diretrizes sobre o mesmo tema. A segunda parte aborda os distúrbios da comunicação, disfagia, controle postural e equilíbrio, ataxias, espasticidade, reabilitação do membro superior, marcha, cognição, negligência espacial unilateral, déficits sensoriais, reabilitação domiciliar, aderênciaao usode medicamentos, cuidados paliativos,ofuturodareabilitação no AVC, e websites de orientação sobre AVC para pacientes e cuidadores. Nosso objetivo é fornecer aos profissionais envolvidos na reabilitação conhecimento atualizado e recomendações para um melhor cuidado no pós-AVC.

RESUMO As Diretrizes Brasileiras para Reabilitação do AVC são fruto de um esforço conjunto do Departamento Científico de Reabilitação Neurológica da Academia Brasileira de Neurologia com o objetivo de orientar os profissionais envolvidos no processo de reabilitação para a redução da incapacidade funcional e aumento da autonomia dos indivíduos. Membros do grupo acima participaram de fóruns de discussão na web com pré-temas, seguidos de reuniões por videoconferência em que as controvérsias foram discutidas, levando a um consenso. Essas diretrizes, divididas em duas partes, focam as implicações de recentes ensaios clínicos, revisões sistemáticas e metanálises sobre reabilitação do AVC. O objetivo principal é servir de orientação a médicos, fisioterapeutas, fonoaudiólogos, terapeutas ocupacionais, enfermeiros, nutricionistas e demais profissionais envolvidos no cuidado pós-AVC. As recomendações e níveis de evidência foram adaptados de acordo com a literatura disponível atualmente. Aqui é apresentada a Parte I sobre tópicos de reabilitação na fase aguda, prevenção e tratamento de doenças e comorbidades frequentes após o AVC.

ABSTRACT The Guidelines for Stroke Rehabilitation are the result of a joint effort by the Scientific Department of Neurological Rehabilitation of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology aiming to guide professionals involved in the rehabilitation process to reduce functional disability and increase individual autonomy. Members of the group participated in web discussion forums with predefined themes, followed by videoconference meetings in which issues were discussed, leading to a consensus. These guidelines, divided into two parts, focus on the implications of recent clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses in stroke rehabilitation literature. The main objective was to guide physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, nutritionists, and other professionals involved in post-stroke care. Recommendations and levels of evidence were adapted according to the currently available literature. Part I discusses topics on rehabilitation in the acute phase, as well as prevention and management of frequent conditions and comorbidities after stroke.

Resumo Objetivos: verificar a concordância da autopercepção da imagem corporal de adolescentes com a análise de profissionais da saúde a partir de imagem corporal tridimensional e a concordância inter-avaliadores. Métodos: estudo transversal, com 1662 adolescentes, de 18-19 anos, da coorte de nascimento de 1997/98 de São Luís, Maranhão. A autopercepção da imagem corporal foi avaliada pela escala de imagem corporal de Stunkard. Três nutricionistas avaliaram a imagem corporal tridimensional e classificaram conforme Stunkard. A concordância foi verificada utilizando Kappa ponderado. Resultados: a análise de concordância entre os avaliadores no grupo geral e quando estratificada por sexo foi considerada moderada a boa pelo Kappa. Em relação a correlação intraclasse (ICC), observou-se valores de correlação bons e excelentes tanto no grupo geral, quanto no sexo masculino e no feminino. Notou-se maior percepção de excesso de peso por todos os avaliadores, quando comparado às autoavaliações dos adolescentes. Quando estratificado por sexo, o avaliador 1 teve a mesma percepção que as autoavaliações do sexo masculino, enquanto para o sexo feminino a percepção de excesso de peso foi mais frequente, assim como os avaliadores 2 e 3, para ambos os sexos. Conclusão: a concordância entre avaliadores e as autoavaliações foram consideradas fracas/moderadas no Kappa e bons/excelente pela ICC.

Abstract Objectives: to verify the agreement among adolescents’ perception of their own body image and the health professionals’ analysis based on three-dimensional body image and the inter-rater agreement. Methods: a cross-sectional study was carried out with 1,662 adolescents, aged 18 to 19 years old, from the 1997/98 birth cohort in São Luís, Maranhão. Self-perception of body image was assessed using the Stunkard’s body image scale. Three nutritionists evaluated the three-dimensional body image obtained by the Photonic Scanner (3D Body Scanner) and classified according to the Stunkard’s scale. The agreement between raters was verified by using weighted Kappa. Results: the analysis of agreement between raters in the general group and when stratified by sexwas considered moderate to good by Kappa. Regarding the intraclass correlation (ICC), good and excellent correlation values were observed both in the general group, males and females. There was a greater perception of overweight by all raters, when compared with the adolescents’ self-assessments. When stratified by sex, examiner 1 had the same perception as male self-assessments, as for females the perception of overweight was more frequent, as well as raters 2 and 3, for both sexes. Conclusion: agreement between raters and self-assessments was considered weak/moderate in Kappa and good/excellent in ICC.

Abstract Aim: to compile existing information in the scientific literature on female military pentathlon athletes. Methods: searches were performed on Pubmed/Medline, Scielo, and Scholar Google databases with specific strings in English and Portuguese. Results: military pentathlon is a discipline that comprises five events, namely: rifle shooting, obstacle run, obstacle swimming, throwing, and cross country running. Our search initially identified 275 records, which were reduced to the final list of 14 after the eligibility criteria analysis was performed in two phases: title + abstract reading and full-text reading. The first record was published in 2007 (recent field of study) and most studies were cross-sectional ones (scarcity of experimental studies), investigating outcomes like psychological, anthropometric, biochemical, biomechanics, cardiopulmonary, nutritional, skin temperature, performance, and prevalence of injury. The female military pentathlon athletes present low values of body fat, energy intake, and high weekly training volume, so professionals must be aware to prevent relative energy deficiency in sports (RED-S) syndrome. The obstacle run was the most investigated event, with lower blood lactate and skin temperature for women athletes. It was also observed that anthropometric, muscle power, and cardiopulmonary variables are well correlated with athletic performance and in some studies, these correlations were stronger for female athletes. Conclusion: scientific research with female military pentathlon athletes is still incipient, especially for experimental design researches, which are highly encouraged in future studies.

Abstract Peanut crop waste (hulls), which have a chemical composition similar to wood, can be considered as a source of industrial raw material for the production of particleboard, provided that they are of similar quality to wooden panels. The present study aimed to produce and evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of medium density particleboards made of peanut hulls and pine wood particles bonded with urea-formaldehyde adhesive. The panels did not present satisfactory dimensional stability. The mechanical properties were significantly reduced with the addition of peanut hulls. In general, peanut hulls did not represent a good alternative to be used as a source of raw material for the production of particleboard. The inclusion of new parameters in the production process would be essential to improve the technological properties, such as: new particle geometries, use of paraffin, particle treatments and inclusion of denser species in the composition of the panels.

RESUMO Objetivos: compreender a utilização da cartilha de amamentação no cárcere em tempos de COVID-19 pelos gestores e profissionais de saúde que atuam com gestantes e lactantes privadas de liberdade. Métodos: trata-se de pesquisa descritiva, exploratória, com abordagem qualitativa, realizada no período de março a dezembro de 2020. Participaram do estudo 13 profissionais que trabalham em instituições prisionais brasileiras e responderam à entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados obtidos foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Resultados: a utilização da cartilha se mostrou estratégica no enfrentamento das barreiras advindas da pandemia e ofertou informações e orientações atualizadas indispensáveis para a continuidade da amamentação dentro do sistema prisional brasileiro. Considerações Finais: a enfermagem participou na organização de material educativo como uma ferramenta na promoção, proteção e apoio à amamentação segura dentro das instituições do sistema prisional que atendem gestantes e lactantes privadas de liberdade.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to understand the use of the booklet on breastfeeding in prison in times of COVID 19 by managers and health professionals who work with pregnant and breastfeeding women deprived of their liberty. Methods: this is a descriptive, exploratory research with a qualitative approach, carried out from March to December 2020. Thirteen professionals who work in Brazilian prison institutions participated in the study and answered a semi-structured interview. The data obtained were submitted to content analysis. Results: the use of the booklet proved to be strategic in facing the barriers resulting from the pandemic and offered updated information and guidelines that are indispensable for the continuity of breastfeeding within the Brazilian prison system. Final Considerations: nursing participated in the organization of educational material as a tool for the promotion, protection and support of safe breastfeeding within the institutions of the prison system that serve pregnant and lactating women deprived of liberty.

Métodos: discurre de investigación descriptiva, exploratoria, con abordaje cualitativo, realizada entre marzo a diciembre de 2020. Participaron del estudio 13 profesionales que trabajan en instituciones carcelarias brasileñas y respondieron a la entrevista semiestructurada. Los datos obtenidos fueron sometidos al análisis de contenido. Resultados: la utilización de la cartilla se mostró estratégica en el enfrentamiento de las barreras advenidas de la pandemia y ofreció informaciones y orientaciones actualizadas indispensables para la continuidad de la lactancia dentro del sistema carcelario brasileño. Consideraciones Finales: la enfermería participó en la organización de material educativo como una herramienta en la promoción, protección y apoyo a la lactancia segura dentro de las instituciones del sistema carcelario que atienden gestantes y lactantes privadas de libertad.

Resumo A Aspersão Térmica (ASP) é um processo para fabricação de revestimentos metálicos de baixo custo e alta produtividade. Esses revestimentos são usados em tubos de trocadores de calor para promover boa resistência a corrosão e ao desgaste. Este trabalho avaliou um revestimento metálico Fe-Cr-Nb-Ni-B depositado por ASP, nas condições sem selante e com selante à base de resina de silicone e alumínio, na proteção de tubos de aço quanto à corrosão e desgaste por atrito de partículas no ambiente de uma caldeira para geração de vapor d`água. Selantes ou esquemas de pintura, são soluções comumente usadas para melhorar a resistência à corrosão. As situações testadas expuseram o revestimento e substrato de amostras com e sem selante, em uma caldeira durante sete e doze meses. Utilizou-se técnicas de metalografia, microscopia eletrônica de varredura, análise química por espectroscopia de energia dispersiva e análise e processamento digital de imagens. Os resultados mostraram que embora o selante tenha sido removido do revestimento pelo atrito do fluxo de partículas presentes na água em operação na caldeira, o revestimento metálico manteve-se integro em relação à sua aderência ao substrato e camada de espessura depositada, sendo considerado uma solução promissora para a proteção de tubulações de caldeiras.

Abstract The Arc Spray Process (ASP) is a low-cost and high-productivity process for making metallic coatings. These coatings are used in heat exchanger pipes to promote good corrosion and wear resistance. This work evaluated a metallic coating of Fe-Cr-Nb-Ni-B alloy deposited by ASP to protect carbon steel pipes boiler to generate steam. Were considered the coating performance about corrosion resistance and the wear due to particles' friction. Two conditions were tested, coating with sealant based on silicone resin with aluminum and without sealant. Sealants or paint layers are commonly used to improve coatings corrosion resistance. Two samples for each condition tested remained in the boiler environment for seven and twelve months. Metallographic preparation techniques, Scanning Electron Microscopy, chemical analysis by Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy, and Digital Image Analysis and Processing were used. The results showed that sealant was removed from the coating by the friction of the flow of particles present in the boiler's water operation. Nevertheless, the metallic coating remained intact in its adhesion to the substrate and layer of deposited thickness. The proposed solution was considered a promising solution for protecting steel pipes of boilers.

Resumo: Introdução: A educação médica está se adaptando às metodologias e técnicas de aprendizagem com o objetivo de facilitar e melhorar a compreensão dos discentes. Os modelos de metodologia ativa, que podem ser aplicados na forma de Problematização e Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas, incentivam o pensamento crítico dos alunos, e o professor assume a função de mediador. Considerando os avanços tecnológicos e científicos, são necessárias atualizações nos recursos de ensino de anatomia, visando desenvolver uma aprendizagem mais flexível, criativa e interativa. Objetivo: Este estudo teve como objetivo apresentar ferramentas inovadoras no ensino-aprendizagem em anatomia no curso de Medicina. Método: Trata-se de revisão integrativa realizada por meio de levantamento bibliográfico, em que se adotaram as etapas metodológicas adequadas e se utilizaram as bases de dados PubMed, SciELO e Cochrane. Resultado: Dos 23 artigos selecionados, seis abordaram o uso de modelos tridimensionais; sete trataram de imagens radiológicas; cinco referiram-se à dissecação; seis versaram sobre simuladores, jogos e ambientes computadorizados; e dois ocuparam-se de outras metodologias, sendo que alguns artigos abordam mais de uma metodologia. Os modelos tridimensionais destacam-se por não demandarem investimentos em conservação e procedimentos legais para sua obtenção, como ocorre com os cadáveres. Métodos de diagnóstico por imagem utilizados nas aulas ajudam a compreender a sua importância no diagnóstico e tratamento dos pacientes. Outras duas metodologias encontradas foram o Audience Response System (ARS) e Competency Based Medical Education (CBME). Por fim, a dissecação possui como desvantagem o estado de conservação e escassez das peças, mas é considerada o modo ativo de aprendizagem que contribui para os melhores resultados. Conclusão: As metodologias ativas - das quais as mais prevalentes são os modelos tridimensionais, as imagens radiológicas, a dissecação e os ambientes computadorizados - podem ser vistas como uma alternativa para utilização no ensino da anatomia para o curso de Medicina e permitem que o aluno escolha a melhor técnica de aprendizagem.

Abstract: Introduction: Medical education is adapting, in terms of methodologies and learning techniques, to facilitate and enhance student comprehension. Active learning methodology models, that can be applied as critical analysis and problem-based learning, encourage critical thinking among the students, and the teacher assumes a mediator role. Considering recent technological and scientific advances, the teaching resources use for clinical anatomy training need to be updated, with a view to developing a more flexible, creative and interactive learning experience. Objective: To present innovative tools in the anatomy teaching-learning process at medical school. Methodology: Integrative review performed through bibliographic search in the databases PubMed, Scielo and Cochrane, following appropriate methodological steps. Results: Of the 23 selected articles, six addressed the use of three-dimensional models; seven were about radiology and imaging; five discussed dissection; six were directed at simulators, games and computerized environments; and two articles discussed other methodologies, even though some articles approach more than one methodology. Three-dimensional models are of particular interest since they are acquired free of investment in conservation or legal procedures, unlike cadavers. Image diagnoses methods used in class help students understand their importance in patient diagnosis and treatment. Two other methodologies found were the Audience Response System (ARS) and Competency Based Medical Education (CBME). Finally, dissection presents the disadvantage the state of conservation and scarcity of the pieces, but it is still considered an active learning method that contributes toward better results for students. Conclusion: Active learning methodologies, especially the most prevalent ones, such as three-dimensional models, radiology and imaging, dissection and computerized environments, can be seen as an alternative for use in clinical anatomy training at university and allow the student to choose the best learning technique.
