Resumen En este artículo se presentan algunas experiencias realizadas en el marco del Espacio Interdisciplinario de la Universidad de la República, que han contribuido a la construcción de un enfoque convergente del movimiento abierto. Estas han resultado en la implementación de iniciativas que pueden aportar al diseño de políticas, desarrollo de capacidades y consolidación de infraestructuras para la educación y la ciencia abiertas en Uruguay.

Abstract The article presents some experiences carried out from the Interdisciplinary Space of the University of the Republic, which have contributed to the development of a convergent approach to the open movement. They have resulted in the implementation of initiatives that can contribute to the design of policies, capacity development and consolidation of infrastructures for Open Education and Science in Uruguay.

Resumo Este artigo apresenta algumas experiências realizadas no âmbito do Espaço Interdisciplinar da Universidade da República, que têm contribuído para a construção de uma abordagem convergente do movimento aberto. Resultaram na implementação de iniciativas que podem contribuir para a formulação de políticas, capacitação e consolidação de infra-estruturas para Educação e Ciência Aberta no Uruguai.

Resumo Introdução: A família constrói crenças sobre a dependência química, as quais geralmente são compartilhadas entre seus membros familiares e repercutem na sua funcionalidade. Objetivo: Descrever as crenças restritivas e facilitadoras sobre a dependência de drogas, na perspectiva de pais que convivem com o problema. Método: Estudo de caso de uma família a partir da abordagem qualitativa. Os participantes consistiram em progenitores de um dependente de substâncias psicoativas. Realizou-se entrevista em profundidade e análise de conteúdo temática. Resultados: Surgiram como crenças restritivas: a superproteção parental como motivo de consumo de substâncias psicoativas do filho e preconceito social sofrido pelos pais. Crenças facilitadoras: esperança dos pais na cura do dependente, através da internação; a família possui forças para o enfrentamento da situação, através de apoio religioso e familiar. Conclusão: As crenças restritivas e facilitadoras precisam ser, respectivamente, desafiadas e promovidas tanto pelas famílias como pelos profissionais de saúde para promover o bem-estar familiar.

Abstract Introduction: The family builds beliefs about chemical dependence, which are shared among their family members and impact on their functionality. Objective: To describe the restrictive and facilitating beliefs about drug addiction, from the perspective of parents living with the problem. Method: Case study of one family with a qualitative approach. Participants consisted of parents of a psychoactive substance dependents. An in-depth interview and analysis of thematic content was carried out. Results: Restrictive beliefs were: parental overprotection as a reason for the child’s psychoactive substance use and social prejudice suffered by the parents. Facilitating beliefs involved the parents hope’s for the cure of the dependent, through hospitalization; the family has the strengths to coping with the situation through religious and family support. Conclusion: Restrictive and facilitative beliefs need to be challenged and promoted by both families and health professionals to promote familiar well-being.

Web Data Warehouses have been introduced to enable the analysis of integrated Web data. One of the main challenges in these systems is to deal with the volatile and dynamic nature of Web sources. In this work we address the effects of adding/removing/changing Web sources and data items to the Data Warehouse (DW) schema. By managing source evolution we mean the automatic propagation of these changes to the DW. The proposed approach is based on a wrapper/mediator architecture, which reduces the impact of Web source changes on the DW schema. This paper presents this architecture and analyses some selected evolution cases in the context of Web DW.
