ABSTRACT Purpose To analyze the correlation between the results obtained on the SEAL and the Bayley III Scale and compare babies with and without delay in language acquisition at 24 months concerning the performance obtained by them and their mothers on the SEAL from 3 to 24 months. Methods The SEAL collection consists of 15-minute footages of 45 babies aged from 3 to 24 months old in interaction with their mothers, who were assessed by two trained speech therapists for the use of the SEAL. At 24 months, the 45 babies were assessed using the Bayley III Scale and the item language was selected to classify them with and without delay. These results were statistically analyzed through a Pearson’s correlation test and a Fisher's exact test. Results In average, eighteen signs of typical development as we obtained, while a mean of 12 delay signs were found. By comparing the presence and absence of signs between the groups with and without delay in language acquisition, eight signs from the baby and one from the mother differed statistically in the sample. The analysis using the SEAL for cases of delay showed that the maternal factor was as important as the infant factor to understand the babies’ language functioning. Conclusion There was a significant correlation between the SEAL performance from 3 to 24 months and the language outcome at 24 months assessed by the Bayley III Scale in this sample.

RESUMO Objetivo Analisar a correlação entre resultados obtidos no Sinais Enunciativos de Aquisição da Linguagem (SEAL) e na Escala Bayley III e comparar bebês com e sem atraso na aquisição da linguagem aos 24 meses no desempenho obtido por ele e sua mãe no SEAL dos 3 aos 24 meses. Método A coleta do SEAL constou de filmagens de 45 bebês, realizadas nas faixas etárias de 3 a 24 meses em interação com suas mães, com duração de 15 minutos, que foram avaliados por duas fonoaudiólogas treinadas no uso do SEAL. Aos 24 meses, os 45 bebês foram avaliados pela Escala Bayley III e selecionado o item linguagem para classificá-los com e sem atraso. Sobre tais resultados realizaram-se as análises estatísticas com o teste de correlação de Pearson e o teste exato de Fisher. Resultados Obtiveram-se as médias de sinais no desenvolvimento típico que foi 18 sinais e, em casos de atraso, a média foi de 12 sinais. Na comparação da relação de presença e ausência dos sinais entre os grupos com e sem atraso na aquisição da linguagem, oito sinais do bebê e um da mãe diferiram estatisticamente na amostra. O fator materno apresentou-se tão importante quanto o infantil na compreensão do funcionamento de linguagem dos bebês na análise realizada com o SEAL nos casos de atraso. Conclusão Houve correlação significativa entre o desempenho no SEAL entre 3 e 24 meses e o desfecho de linguagem aos 24 meses avaliado pela Escala Bayley III nesta amostra.

RESUMO: O presente estudo avaliou a utilização dos extratos aquosos de trigo como adjuvante a terapia antineoplásica com carboplatina. No estudo foram utilizadas 32 ratas, as quais foram aleatoriamente distribuídas em quatro grupos: G1 - controle negativo; G2 - controle tratado com solução fisiológica; G3 - tratado com extrato aquoso de trigo na concentração de 100mg/kg; G4 - tratado com extrato aquoso de trigo na concentração de 400mg/kg. Administrou-se 300mg/m² de carboplatina por via intraperitoneal no dia 0 nos grupos G2, G3, e G4, enquanto no G1 foi administrado 1mL de solução fisiológica pela mesma via. Os animais foram tratados diariamente durante 21 dias por gavagem orogástrica de acordo com seu respectivo grupo experimental. Foi coletado sangue dos animais nos dias três, sete e 21, para realização de hemograma, testes bioquímicos e mensuração da atividade da paraoxanase 1 (PON1). No dia 21 os animais foram eutanasiados e realizada coleta de medula óssea, rim e fígado. Foram observados resultados promissores com relação ao balanço oxidativo no G3 e G4, pois ambos apresentaram melhor atividade da PON1 em relação ao G2 (P<0,05). Além disso, foi constatado que os mesmos grupos apresentaram contagem de leucócitos totais superiores ao G2 durante todo o período experimental, com G4 diferindo significativamente do G2 (P<0,05) no dia 21. Os mielogramas dos animais do G3 e G4 apresentaram valores análogos ao G1, sendo que o G3 apresentou menor contagem de promielócitos e maior de células eritroides e rubroblastos que o G2 (P<0,05). Nas condições experimentais deste estudo os extratos aquosos de trigo mostraram-se seguros nas doses utilizadas e úteis no tratamento da mielossupressão e liberação excessiva de radicais livres induzidas pelo fármaco carboplatina.

ABSTRACT: The present study aimed to evaluate the use of aqueous wheat extracts as an adjunct to antineoplastic therapy with carboplatin. In this study, 32 rats were used which were randomly distributed into 4 groups: G1 - negative control; G2 - control treated with physiological solution; G3 - animals treated with aqueous extract of wheat in the concentration of 100mg/kg; G4 - animals treated with aqueous wheat extract at the concentration of 400mg/kg; 300mg/m² of carboplatin was administered intraperitoneally at day 0 in animals from groups G2, G3, and G4, whereas 1ml of physiological solution was administered by the same route in animals from group G1. Animals were treated daily for 21 days by orogastric gavage according to their respective experimental group. Blood was collected from animals on days 3, 7 and 21 for complete blood count (CBC), biochemistry, and measurement of paraoxonase 1 (PON1) activity. On day 21, animals were euthanized and necropsied. Promising results were obtained regarding oxidative balance in groups G3 and G4. Both presented better PON1 activity in comparison with group G2 (P<0.05). Total leukocyte count of group G4 differed significantly from group G2 (P<0.05) on day 21. Myelogram values of animals from groups G3 and G4 were similar to those from G1; animals from G3 had lower numbers of promyelocytes and increased numbers of erythrocytes and rubriblasts than animals from G2 (P<0.05). In the present experimental study, aqueous wheat extract was safe at the doses used in the animals, and was an effective treatment for myelosuppression and for the prevention of an excessive release of free radicals induced by carboplatin.

Cette étude analyse les effets de l'exposition de nourrissons à la musique comme intervention précoce chez un bébé à risque autistique — détecté par les signes PRÉAUT et les indicateurs de référence du développement de l'enfant —, ainsi que chez ses proches, insérés dans un groupe avec deux autres bébés sans risque et leurs mères. L'intervention s'est montrée efficace pour l'établissement du processus d'aliénation, ainsi que pour le progrès psychomoteur, cognitif et linguistique. On conclut que l'exposition du bébé à la musique est une alternative d'intervention précoce en cas de risque psychique.

This research analyzed the effects of musicalization on babies as early intervention for babies at risk of evolving towards autism, when this is detected by PREAUT signs and the risk indexes of child development, and their families, established in a group with two other babies who were not risk and their mothers. The intervention appeared to be effective in establishing the alienation process, and in psychomotor, cognitive and linguistic progress. We can thus conclude that babies’ musicalization is an early intervention alternative in cases of psychological risk.

Dieser Artikel untersucht die Wirkungen der musikalischen Begleitung von Säuglingen als vorzeitige Intervention bei einem Kleinkind mit Autismus-Risiko und bei seinen Familienangehörigen. PREAUT-Indizien und Risikoanzeichen der Kinderentwicklung wurden benutzt, um das Risiko festzustellen. Das Kleinkind und seine Angehörigen waren Teil einer Gruppe, die außerdem zwei andere Babys ohne Risiko und ihre Mütter enthielt. Die Intervention war erfolgreich zur Feststellung des Alienationsprozesses und produzierte ebenfalls psychomotorische, kognitive und sprachliche Fortschritte. Man kann daraus schließen, dass die musikalische Begleitung von Kleinkindern eine alternative Form frühzeitiger Intervention bei psychischen Risiko-Fällen ist.

A pesquisa analisou os efeitos da musicalização de bebês como intervenção precoce junto a um bebê com risco de evolução para o autismo, detectado pelos sinais PREAUT e pelos índicadores de referência ao desenvolvimento infantil, e seus familiares, inserido em grupo com outros dois bebês sem risco e suas mães. A intervenção apresentou-se efetiva para o estabelecimento do processo de alienação, e também com progressos psicomotores, cognitivos e linguísticos. Pode-se concluir que a musicalização de bebê é uma alternativa de intervenção precoce em casos de risco psíquico.

La investigación analizó los efectos de la musicalización, como intervención precoz, en un bebé con riesgo de evolución de autismo, detectado por las señales PREAUT y a través de los indicadores de referencia del desarrollo infantil, y sus familiares. El bebé en riesgo y su familia fueron incluidos en un grupo de bebés sin riesgo y sus madres. La intervención se mostró efectiva en cuanto al establecimiento del proceso de alienación, y con progresos psicomotores, cognitivos y lingüísticos. Se puede concluir que musicalización del bebé es una alternativa de intervención precoz en casos de riesgo psíquico.

RESUMO Objetivo Comparar a evolução das vocalizações em bebês prematuros e a termo, com e sem risco ao desenvolvimento, analisando as possíveis relações entre variáveis sociodemográficas, obstétricas e psicossociais com as vocalizações. Método A amostra foi composta por 30 bebês com idade entre os 3 meses e 1 dia aos 4 meses e 29 dias (fase 1) e 6 meses e 1 dia aos 7 meses e 29 dias (fase 2), de ambos os gêneros, com idade gestacional inferior a 37 semanas (grupo de prematuros) e superior a 37 semanas (grupo a termo). Para a coleta de dados, utilizaram-se os protocolos Indicadores de Risco ao Desenvolvimento Infantil, o teste Denver II e entrevista sobre a experiência da maternidade com dados sociodemográficos, obstétricos e psicossociais, além de filmagem da díade mãe-bebê nas duas fases da pesquisa. Os dados das filmagens foram analisados no software EUDICO Linguistic Anotador (ELAN) e os resultados analisados estatisticamente no software STATISTICA 9.0. Resultados Quanto maior o número total de vocalizações do bebê e quanto mais vocalizações das mães com manhês, maior o número de Indicadores de Risco ao Desenvolvimento Infantil presentes. Também se percebeu aumento significativo de vocalizações sem manhês na fase 2 pesquisada. As variáveis sociodemográficas, idade gestacional, peso ao nascer, escolaridade materna e o Critério Brasil não incidiram diretamente no nível de vocalizações dos bebês. Conclusão A análise das vocalizações dos bebês associou-se ao risco ao desenvolvimento, assim como os Indicadores de Risco ao Desenvolvimento Infantil, na fase 1 pesquisada, o teste Denver-Linguagem é mais efetivo na fase 2. Não houve influência das variáveis sociodemográficas na fase estudada.

ABSTRACT Purpose To compare the evolution of vocalization in preterm and full-term infants, with and without risk for development, analyzing the possible association of sociodemographic, obstetric and psychosocial variables with vocalization. Methods The study sample consisted of 30 infants, aged 3 months and 1 day to 4 months and 29 days (Phase 1) and 6 months and 1 day to 7 months and 29 days (Phase 2), of both genders, with gestational age <37 weeks (preterm group) and >37 weeks (full-term group). The following instruments were used for data collection: Child Development Risk Indicators (IRDl), the Denver II Test, an interview on the experience of motherhood with sociodemographic, obstetric and psychosocial data, as well as filming of the mother-infant dyad at the two phases of the research. Footage was analyzed using the EUDICO Linguistic Annotator (ELAN) software and the results were statistically analyzed on the STATISTICA 9.0 software. Results The larger the total number of Phase II infants’ and mothers’ vocalizations using motherese, the greater the number of IRDls present. Significant increase in vocalizations without motherese was also observed in Phase 2. Sociodemographic variables, gestational age, weight at birth, maternal schooling, and the Brazil Criterion did not directly affect the infants’ vocalization level. Conclusion Analysis of the infants’ vocalizations was sensitive to risk development and Child Development Risk Indicators in Phase 1; the Denver-language test was more effective in Phase 2. No influence of the sociodemographic variables was observed in the phases studied.

RESUMO Objetivo Verificar quais os prejuízos a prematuridade causa à linguagem e à audição. Estratégia de pesquisa Utilizou-se os descritores language/linguagem, hearing/audição, prematurity/prematuridade nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE, Biblioteca Cochrane e Scielo. Critérios de seleção Ensaios randomizados controlados, estudos de intervenção não randomizados e estudos descritivos (transversais, de coorte, projetos de caso-controle). Análise dos dados Os artigos foram avaliados independentemente por dois autores, conforme os critérios de seleção. Foram selecionados 26 estudos, sete publicados no Brasil e 19 na literatura internacional. Resultados Dezenove estudos fizeram comparação entre nascidos a termo e prematuros. Dois dos estudos fizeram comparações entre prematuros pequenos para idade gestacional e adequados para idade gestacional. Em quatro estudos a amostra era composta de crianças com prematuridade extrema, os demais trabalhos foram realizados em crianças com prematuridade acentuada e moderada. Nestes estudos, foram utilizados, para análise da audição, as Emissões Otoacústicas, o Potencial Evocado de Tronco Encefálico, a timpanometria, o Potencial Evocado Auditivo de Estado Estável e audiometria de reforço visual. Para avaliação de linguagem, a maioria dos artigos utilizou a Escala Bayley de Desenvolvimento Infantil. Observou-se na maioria dos estudos revisados a prematuridade relacionando-se direta ou indiretamente à aquisição de habilidades auditivas e de linguagem nos primeiros anos de vida. Conclusão Dessa forma, pôde-se constatar que a prematuridade bem como os aspectos relacionados a ela (idade gestacional, baixo peso e intercorrências ao nascer) influenciam a maturação da via auditiva central podendo causar efeitos negativos na aquisição da linguagem.

ABSTRACT Purpose To verify which damages prematurity causes to hearing and language. Research strategies We used the decriptors language/linguagem, hearing/audição, prematurity/prematuridade in databases LILACS, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library and Scielo. Selection criteria randomized controlled trials, non-randomized intervention studies and descriptive studies (cross-sectional, cohort, case-control projects). Data analysis The articles were assessed independently by two authors according to the selection criteria. Twenty-six studies were selected, of which seven were published in Brazil and 19 in international literature. Results Nineteen studies comparing full-term and preterm infants. Two of the studies made comparisons between premature infants small for gestational age and appropriate for gestational age. In four studies, the sample consisted of children with extreme prematurity, while other studies have been conducted in children with severe and moderate prematurity. To assess hearing, these studies used otoacoustic emissions, brainstem evoked potentials, tympanometry, auditory steady-state response and visual reinforcement audiometry. For language assessment, most of the articles used the Bayley Scale of Infant and Toddler Development. Most studies reviewed observed that prematurity is directly or indirectly related to the acquisition of auditory and language abilities early in life. Conclusion Thus, it could be seen that prematurity, as well as aspects related to it (gestational age, low weight at birth and complications at birth), affect maturation of the central auditory pathway and may cause negative effects on language acquisition.

RESUMO Objetivo apresentar categorias que expliquem o funcionamento de linguagem de um bebê com sua mãe a partir do conceito de sistema semiótico benvenisteano e verificar se tais categorias podem ser descritas numericamente. Método Quatro díades foram acompanhadas em três etapas. O primeiro estudo consistiu na análise qualitativa das filmagens transcritas, realizadas em cada uma das etapas. Pretendeu-se identificar os princípios enunciativos atrelados à relação do sistema semiótico corporal do bebê à linguagem materna, a saber, os princípios da interpretância e homologia. Outro estudo foi realizado por meio da análise numérica descritiva das categorias enunciativas identificadas e pela escala de comportamentos mãe-bebê, a partir da aplicação do Software ELAN (EUDICO Linguistic Anotador). Resultados Percebeu-se mutualidade mãe-bebê na maior parte das cenas analisadas. Identificaram-se, na homologia e na interpretância, categorias enunciativas produtivas que demonstram a relação demanda do bebê com a interpretação materna. Também foi possível utilizá-las para descrever numericamente as interações mãe-bebê. Além disso, outras categorias emergiram havendo mais subtipos de produções maternas que não estão diretamente relacionadas à demanda do bebê, demonstrando que este está exposto à linguagem de características heterogêneas. Conclusão O conceito de sistema semiótico permitiu propor categorias de funcionamento de linguagem identificáveis na relação mãe-bebê. Tais categorias puderam ser descritas numericamente.

ABSTRACT Objective To present categories which explain the language functioning between infants and their mothers from Benveniste’s concept of semiotic system, and verify whether such categories can be described numerically. Method Four mother-infant dyads were monitored in three stages. The first study consisted of a qualitative analysis of the transcribed video recordings conducted in each stage. We intended to identify the enunciative principles associated with the relationship between the semiotic system of the infant’s body and their mother’s language, namely, the principles of interpretancy and homology. The other study was conducted by means of a descriptive numerical analysis of the enunciative categories and the infant caregiver scale of behavior, using the ELAN software (EUDICO Linguistic Anotador). Results Mutuality in mother-infant interactions was observed in most of the scenes analyzed. Productive enunciative categories demonstrated in the infant’s demand/mother’s interpretation relation was identified in homology and interpretancy. It was also possible to use these categories to describe the mother-infant interactions numerically. In addition, other categories emerged because there are other subtypes of maternal productions not directly related to infant demand. This shows that infants are exposed to language of heterogeneous characteristics. Conclusion The concept of semiotic system allowed the proposition of language functioning categories identifiable in the mother-infant relationship. Such categories were described numerically.

Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a importância de uma hipótese de funcionamento de linguagem, considerando as relações forma/sentido e os mecanismos e estratégias enunciativas na análise da linguagem de dois sujeitos com distúrbio de linguagem e risco ao desenvolvimento. Dois sujeitos e seus familiares foram acompanhados do primeiro ao décimo oitavo mês de idade, por meio dos Índices de Risco ao Desenvolvimento Infantil. Entre 21 e 24 meses, foram filmados com familiares (mãe, pai, irmão) e com a pesquisadora, em situação lúdica, de modo similar ao que acontece em casa. As filmagens foram analisadas e transcritas ortograficamente e analisadas por meio dos mecanismos e estratégias enunciativas, da relação forma/sentido, buscando-se identificar o funcionamento de linguagem. Enquanto um dos sujeitos evidenciou maiores possibilidades de realização vocal, mas com mecanismos e estratégias enunciativas restritas, o outro apresentou quase ausência de fala, induzindo o adulto a falar por ele. Houve diferenças no funcionamento de linguagem, nos recursos para relacionar forma e sentido, bem como no uso de mecanismos e estratégias enunciativas entre ambos sujeitos, o que demonstra a necessidade de identificar uma hipótese de funcionamento de linguagem no processo de avaliação da linguagem infantil.

This study aims to analyze the importance of a hypothesis of language working, considering the form/meaning relationships and the enunciative mechanisms and strategies in the analysis of language of two subjects with language impairment and risk to development. Two subjects and their families were followed from the first to the eighteenth month of age, through the Indexes of Risk to Child Development. Between 21 and 24 months, the subjects were filmed with relatives (mother, father, brother) and with the researcher, in a playful situation, in a similar way to what happens at home. The recordings were orthographically analyzed and transcribed and also analyzed by means of mechanisms and enunciative strategies, the relative form/meaning, trying to identify the function of language. While one of the subjects showed greater possibilities of vocal accomplishment, but with restricted enunciative strategies and mechanisms, the other one had almost no speech, inducing the adult to speak in his place. There were differences in the functioning of language, the resources to relate form and meaning, as well as the use of enunciative mechanisms and strategies between both subjects, which demonstrates the need to identify a hypothesis of language working in the evaluation process of the children language.

O objetivo deste estudo de caso foi relatar e analisar o caso de um paciente afásico adulto em tratamento fonoaudiológico na clínica escola do Curso de Fonoaudiologia de uma instituição federal de ensino. O sujeito estudado é um paciente do sexo masculino, com 68 anos de idade, em tratamento na clínica escola desde maio de 2009, sendo que seu processo terapêutico foi analisado até dezembro de 2010. Quanto à história clínica, o paciente sofreu acidente vascular encefálico isquêmico no hemisfério esquerdo, em janeiro de 2009, quando repentinamente apresentou um quadro de mutismo. Após serem realizadas avaliações fonoaudiológicas, concluiu-se que o mesmo apresentava como hipótese diagnóstica "Afasia de expressão, oral e escrita, decorrente de acidente vascular encefálico isquêmico." Diante disto foi elaborado o planejamento terapêutico. Desde o início do processo de terapia foi possível observar evoluções linguísticas no paciente. O fato de o sujeito ter procurado atendimento fonoaudiológico 15 dias após o acometimento pelo acidente vascular encefálico, provavelmente foi um fator fundamental para sua boa recuperação, pois há um grau de recuperação espontânea em pacientes afásicos, porém a melhora é mínima sem o tratamento adequado. Em aproximadamente um mês de terapia fonoaudiológica, o paciente expandiu consideravelmente seu vocabulário. Apesar de a área lesada ser extensa e fundamental para a linguagem, observou-se avanços bastante positivos com a terapia. Deste modo, acredita-se que a intervenção fonoaudiológica precoce contribuiu, em grande parte, para a reorganização da atividade linguística, visto que o paciente comunica-se satisfatoriamente considerando a grande extensão de sua lesão.

The purpose of this article was doing a report case of an aphasic client subjected to speech therapy in the clinic of a Speech Pathology and Audiology course of a federal university. The studied subject is a male patient, aged 68, treated in the clinic since May 2009. His therapeutic process was analyzed up to December 2010. The client suffered an ischemic stroke in the left cerebral hemisphere, on January 2009, when suddenly presented mutism. After the evaluations, the therapist concluded that the client presented "aphasia, compromising the oral and the writing expression, caused by ischemic stroke". So, the treatment plan was created. Since the start of therapy, significant linguistic changes could be observed in the client. A primary factor for the satisfactory recover was the quick search for the speech treatment (15 days after the stroke), because there is a degree of spontaneous recovery in aphasic clients. But, the good results are minimal without the adequate therapy. Only one month after the beginning of the therapy, the client improved substantially his vocabulary. Despite the injury area is extensive and fundamental to the language, it was observed very positive results with the therapy. So, we believe that the early speech therapy contributed a lot to the linguistic recover, since the client communicate satisfactorily, if we consider the great extension of his injury.

O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar a revisão de estudos sobre o distúrbio específico de linguagem quanto à percepção que a família apresenta deste distúrbio, formas clínicas e sua relação com os marcos evolutivos em linguagem. Pretende-se também analisar aspectos orgânicos e sociais relacionados tal distúrbio, co-morbidades, terapêuticas e prognóstico clínico. A pesquisa proposta teve como fonte de dados artigos dos últimos sete anos encontrados em revistas indexadas no Medline. Entre os dados encontrados, destacaram-se as percepções parentais acerca do distúrbio, a necessidade do diagnóstico do especialista de linguagem e a eficiência dos programas de intervenção precoce com agentes comunitários de saúde. Os dados analisados sugerem que marcos evolutivos de linguagem devem ser conhecidos e observados pelos profissionais da saúde que atendem à infância para detecção precoce deste distúrbio. O progresso terapêutico, a aprendizagem escolar e adaptação social podem ser maiores se a intervenção iniciar já ao segundo ano de vida.

The purpose of this work is to relate review researches about speech language impairment in relation to the families' perceptions, clinical categorization, language evolution, genetic and others medical researches, comorbities, speech and language therapies and prognostic. The data researched was of the seven last years journals of Medline e Scielo. Among the findings, the distinguished ones were the families' perception about speech language impairment, the necessity of language pathologist diagnosis and the efficiency of early intervention programs with health agents. Language evolution stages may be known and observed by infancy health professionals for the early detection of speech language impairment. The therapeutic progress, the school and social adaptation may be better if the intervention begins at two years old.

TEMA: fatores de risco psíquico ao desenvolvimento infantil e as implicações para a fonoaudiologia. OBJETIVOS: estudar, por meio de uma revisão teórica os riscos psíquicos ao desenvolvimento infantil, com ênfase nos riscos para aquisição da linguagem, e discutir as implicações para a atuação fonoaudiológica em idade precoce. CONCLUSÃO: a partir da literatura revisada, constatou-se que crianças que convivem com riscos biológicos e, sobretudo psíquicos, nos primeiros anos de vida, são mais propensas a desenvolver problemas que podem afetar o seu desenvolvimento. Assim, considera-se a necessidade daatuação fonoaudiológica estar vinculada a uma constante observação dos fatores de risco psíquico ao desenvolvimento infantil e aquisição da linguagem, podendo participar da detecção e estimulação precoces em uma perspectiva promocional.

BACKGROUND: psychical risk factors to child development and implications on speech-language and hearing therapy. PURPOSE: to study, through a theoretical review, the psychical risks to the child development, emphasizing the risks for language acquisition, and discuss the implications on the speech-language and hearing therapy performance for precocious age. CONCLUSION: through reviewed literature, we evidenced that children who live with biological and especially psychic risks, during their first years, are more inclined to develop problems that may come to affect their development. So, we consider the need for speech-language and hearing therapy to be linked to a constant observation of the psychical risk factors to the child development and language acquisition, being this professional able to take part in the precocious detection and stimulation under a promotional perspective.
