ABSTRACT: In this study, we analyzed the hypothesis that the combination of Nitrospirillum amazonense strain BR11145 with biological fertilizer prepared using Microgeo® and native microbiome from location of the product application results in morphological and nutritional gains for the initial development of sugarcane plants and soil chemistry. For this purpose, pre-sprouted sugarcane seedlings were grown in a greenhouse mesocosm experiment using soil amended with nitrogen/phosphorus/potassium fertilizer. The experimental treatments consisted of: 1) biological fertilizer with the addition of N. amazonense (100 mL ha-1), 2) biological fertilizer without the addition of N. amazonense, 3) inoculation with N. amazonense at a dose of 100 mL ha-1 with 2x108 viable cell mL-1, 4) inoculation with N. amazonense at a dose of 200 mL ha-1 with 2x108 viable cell mL-1, and 5) control, without the addition of biological fertilizer and N. amazonense. The biological fertilizer was applied at dose of 300 L ha-1, which was split at planting (200 L ha-1) and in the post-emergence phase (100 L ha-1). After 164 days of planting, it was detected an increase in leaf length +3, number of green leaves, leaf area and sulfur content in the leaves of sugarcane plants that received the biological fertilizer with the addition of N. amazonense. In conclusion, the combination of N. amazonense with biological fertilizer revealed positive effects through morphological and nutritional characteristics in sugarcane plants during their early stages of development when compared to plants grown only with the inoculation of N. amazonense, biological fertilizer or mineral fertilizers, with few notable positive effects on soil chemistry.

RESUMO: Neste estudo avaliou-se a hipótese de que a combinação de Nitrospirillum amazonense estirpe BR11145 com adubo biológico preparado com base em microbioma autóctone da localidade de aplicação do produto, produzido com Microgeo®, resulta em benefícios morfológicos e nutricionais para o desenvolvimento inicial de plantas de cana-de-açúcar e para a química do solo. Para tanto, mudas pré-brotadas de cana-de-açúcar foram crescidas em mesocosmos num experimento conduzido em casa-de-vegetação com solo enriquecido com fertilizante à base de nitrogênio/fósforo/potássio. Os tratamentos avaliados foram: 1) adubo biológico acrescido de N. amazonense (100 mL ha-1), 2) adubo biológico sem o acréscimo de N. amazonense, 3) inoculação de N. amazonense na dose de 100 mL ha-1 (2x108 células viáveis por mL), 4) inoculação de N. amazonense na dose de 200 mL ha-1 (2x108 células viáveis por mL), e 5) testemunha, sem a adição de fertilizante biológico e N. amazonense. O adubo biológico foi aplicado na dose de 300 L ha-1 sendo esta parcelada no plantio (200 L ha-1) e na fase de pós-emergência (100 L ha-1). Após 164 dias do plantio constatou-se aumento no comprimento da folha +3, número de folhas verdes, área foliar e no teor de enxofre nas folhas das plantas de cana-de-açúcar que receberam o adubo biológico combinado com N. amazonense. Conclui-se que a combinação de N. amazonense com o adubo biológico produzido com Microgeo® revelou efeitos positivos por meio de caraterísticas morfológicas e nutricionais em plantas de cana-de-açúcar durante os seus estádios iniciais de desenvolvimento quando comparadas com plantas crescidas apenas com a inoculação de N. amazonense, fertilizante biológico ou fertilizantes minerais, com poucos efeitos positivos notáveis na química do solo.

Abstract The aim of this study is to report an original case series of synchronous jawbone diseases. Data of patients seen over 13 years were extracted from the files of three Oral Radiology and Pathology diagnostic centers in Brazil. The clinical, radiographic, and laboratory characteristics were tabulated and analyzed by the authors; the patients were described according to lesion type. Seventy-two synchronous jawbone diseases were included in this study. Florid osseous dysplasia, Gorlin-Goltz syndrome, and cherubism were the most frequent disorders reported in this case series. In addition, the posterior mandible area was the main site of manifestation. Florid osseous dysplasia and Gorlin-Goltz syndrome represented two-thirds of our samples. With the utilization of adequate demographic, clinical, and radiologic information, it is possible to diagnose most of the synchronous lesions of jawbones. Sometimes, however, we need complementary exams, such as histopathologic and biochemical analysis or dosing of calcium, phosphorus, and alkaline phosphatase.

ABSTRACT Microorganisms in the soil and rhizosphere can release part of the total phosphorus in the soil through solubilization, mineralization, and an increase of the root absorption surface. The ability of phosphate solubilizing bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi to promote higher yield and profitability in co-inoculated soybean was investigated. For this purpose, field and greenhouse experiments were conducted in the years 2020 and 2021 in Brazil. In the field, the first factor was composed of microorganism application on soybean (simple inoculation with Bradyrhizobium; co-inoculation with Bacillus strains; co-inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhiza), and the second factor consisted of the application or not of phosphate fertilizer (0 and 100 kg ha-1 of P2O5). In the greenhouse, treatments of the first factor were maintained with 50 % of the phosphate fertilization and one treatment added (standard inoculation with 100 % of the fertilization). Plant growth, roots, nodules, leaf nutrition, yield, and profitability were evaluated. In 2020, co-inoculation increased plant height, the number of pods, grains, and profitability index. The co-inoculation with Bacillus strains and arbuscular mycorrhiza promoted yield increase only associated with phosphate fertilization, by 813 and 761 kg ha-1 compared to standard inoculation, respectively. In 2021, there were increases for pods, grains, yield, gross profit, net income, and profitability index. Co-inoculation with Bacillus strains and arbuscular mycorrhiza promoted increased soybean yield and profitability, confirming itself as a sustainable technology for Brazilian soybean fields.

ABSTRACT A 6-year field monitoring study was designed to compare the presence of fall armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda (J. E. Smith), leaf injury, its parasitoids, 100 seed weight, and seed yield of Bt maize hybrids approved for commercialization in the Brazilian market. Field trials were planted in two municipalities, divided into two periods, from 2011 to 2014 (period I), and due to the approval of different Bt hybrids, from 2015 to 2016 (period II). Treatments were Bt, non-Bt maize and all non-Bt maize sprayed with insecticide methomyl. Six Bt-maize hybrids were planted, expressing the following proteins: Cry1Ab, Cry1F, Cry1A.105 (Cry1Ab +Cry1Ac +Cry1F), Cry2Ab2a and Vip3. In 2015 and 2016 Bt Powercore was planted due to its commercial approval. The number of S. frugiperda larvae for most Bt hybrids was lower than on non-Bt hybrids, except for Fórmula TL and Herculex in period II, in both municipalities. In period I, Bt hybrids VT, VT 2 and Viptera showed almost no injury on their leaves, despite the high number of fall armyworm larvae found in plants. Different parasitoids emerged from larvae from Bt and non Bt hybrids: Archytas sp., Campoletis sp., Chelonus sp., Eiphosoma sp. and Ophion luteus. The average 100 seed weight was higher in municipality from Sete Lagoas for all Bt hybrids, non-Bt hybrids and non-Bt hybrids sprayed with methomyl, when compared to Nova Porteirinha during period I. Fórmula TL, non-Bt Fórmula TL sprayed with methomyl, and non-Bt Fórmula TL showed the lowest seed yield in both municipalities and periods.

Abstract The genus Banisteriopsis (Malpighiaceae) comprises 77 genera and 1,300 species. Despite efforts to provide detailed information about the chemical wealth of B. laevifolia, this article provides the identification and characterization of compounds from the ethanolic extracts of the leaves and flowers using advanced methodologies which include high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry, which contribute to the knowledge about compounds present in the genus Banisteriopsis. The dereplication aided by Global Natural Products Social Molecular Networking afforded the identification of seven compounds reported for this species for the first time. A mixture of two known flavonoids and a diterpenoid, 18-hydroxy-ent-halima-1(10),13-(E)-dien-15-oic acid, were isolated by conventional separation methods. The elevated 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity observed in some samples was attributed to either the type of extract, the presence of 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid, or the influence of the substitution pattern and the synergistic effect of the compounds present. Principal Component Analysis was applied to correlate mass spectrometry data with the antioxidant activity of the samples. The high diversity of metabolites found in this study and those which have been reported for Banisteriopsis strongly recommends further investigation into the chemical and biological properties of these species.

RESUMO: Este trabalho teve como objetivo conhecer quais ações concernentes à acessibilidade linguística da Pessoa Surda foram implementadas pelo Curso de Letras Libras/Língua Portuguesa (CLLLP) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). A construção deste estudo ocorreu com base nos dados elaborados durante a pesquisa de Mestrado intitulada Estudantes Surdos no Ensino Superior: reflexões sobre a inclusão no curso de Letras-Libras/Língua Portuguesa da UFRN. Mais especificamente, empenhamos esforços em lançar um olhar para a categoria "acessibilidade linguística" que foi construída a partir de uma entrevista em Libras com sete estudantes surdos do curso. Para tanto, entremeamos as ações voltadas à acessibilidade linguística dos surdos envolvendo o curso de LLLP com os discursos desses sujeitos. Desse modo, orientamos nossas discussões teóricas considerando as raízes históricas da Educação de Surdos, dos Estudos Surdos, da Políticas Linguísticas e dos Estudos Culturais. Finalmente, observamos a importância de considerar as devolutivas dos surdos acerca das ações promovidas pelo CLLLP para oportunizar a efetivação do direito linguístico da Pessoa Surda em todos os espaços da universidade. E, ainda, da necessidade de um movimento de reflexão constante para o engendramento de estratégias institucionais que contribuam para o enfrentamento dos desafios de implementação da acessibilidade linguística e, por conseguinte, assegurem o acesso e a permanência com qualidade do Surdo no Ensino Superior.

ABSTRACT: This work aimed to know which actions concerning the linguistic accessibility for deaf people have been implemented by the Brazilian Sign Language/Portuguese Language Undergraduate Course (Curso de Letras Libras/ Língua Portuguesa - CLLLP) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN). The construction of this study was based on data elaborated during the Master’s research entitled ‘Deaf Students in Higher Education: reflections on the inclusion in the Brazilian Sign Language/Portuguese Language Undergraduate Course at UFRN’. More specifically, we endeavor to glance at the "linguistic accessibility" category that was built from an interview in Brazilian Sign Language with seven deaf students from the course. To this end, we interweave actions aimed at the linguistic accessibility of the deaf involving the CLLLP course with the speeches of these subjects. In this way, we guide our theoretical discussions considering the historical roots of the Deaf Education, Deaf Studies, Linguistic Policies and Cultural Studies. Finally, we observed the importance of considering the feedback of the deaf about the actions promoted by CLLLP to provide opportunities for the deaf person’s linguistic rights to be implemented in all spaces of the university. And, still, the need for a constant reflection movement to generate institutional strategies that contribute to face the challenges of implementing linguistic accessibility and, therefore, ensure the access and permanence with quality of the Deaf in Higher Education.

Resumo Introdução A obtenção do resultado esperado durante o clareamento dental exige um diagnóstico correto do tipo de coloração apresentado. As causas da coloração dos dentes diferem dependendo do fator etiológico. Objetivo Avaliar a mudança de cor causada pela imersão dos dentes bovinos na solução de café durante o clareamento dentário caseiro, utilizando gel de peróxido de carbamida a 16%. Material e método Trinta e três dentes bovinos hígidos foram distribuídos em três grupos de onze dentes cada: 1 - Dentes clareados quatro horas por dia durante 21 dias; 2 – Dentes clareados quatro horas por dia durante 21 dias e imerso em solução de café imediatamente após o clareamento dentário; 3 – Dentes clareados quatro horas por dia durante 21 dias e imerso em solução de café quatro horas após o término do clareamento dentário. Imersão em café foi realizada durante 15 minutos e a cor dos dentes foi avaliada antes do início do procedimento do clareamento e após 21 dias com um espectrofotômetro intraoral. O teste Shapiro-Wilk foi utilizado para avaliar a homocedasticidade e os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância de um fator (ANOVA) e ao teste de Tukey (p <0,05). Resultado A mudança de cor observada no grupo 1 (5,76 ± 2,74)A não foi estatisticamente diferente do grupo 2 (8,83 ± 5,11)A, imerso em solução de café imediatamente após o clareamento dentário, e do grupo 3, imerso em café quatro horas após o clareamento dental (8,20 ± 3,71). Conclusão O café não interferiu nos resultados do clareamento dental, independentemente do tempo após o procedimento. Portanto, restrições alimentares não são necessárias durante o clareamento dental.

Abstract Introduction Obtaining the result expected during tooth bleaching requires a correct diagnosis of the type of staining presented. The causes of tooth staining differ depending on the etiological factor. Objective To assess the color change caused by the immersion of bovine teeth in coffee solution during at-home tooth bleaching using a 16% carbamide peroxide gel. Material and method Thirty-three sound bovine teeth were assigned to three groups of eleven teeth each: 1 – Teeth bleached (TB) four hours per day for 21 days; 2 – TB four hours per day for 21 days and immersed in coffee solution immediately after tooth bleaching; 3 – TB four hours per day for 21 days and immersed in coffee solution four hours after the end of tooth bleaching. Immersed in coffee was performed for 15 minutes and tooth color was assessed before the start of the bleaching procedure and after 21 days with an intraoral spectrophotometer. Test Shapiro-Wilk was used to assess homoscedasticity and data were submitted to one-factor Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Tukey’s test (p <0.05). Result The color change observed in group 1 (5.76 ± 2.74)A was not statistically different from group 2 (8.83 ±5.11)A, which was immersed in coffee solution immediately after tooth bleaching, and from group 3, which was immersed in coffee solution four hours after tooth bleaching (8.20 ±3.71)A. Conclusion Coffee did not interfere with the tooth bleaching results, regardless of the time after the procedure. Hence, diet restrictions are not necessary during tooth bleaching.

Resumo Objetivo: Verificar as associações entre as variáveis sociodemográficas, laborais e condições de saúde e hábitos de vida e os transtornos mentais comuns entre os trabalhadores de enfermagem de um hospital psiquiátrico. Métodos: Estudo transversal, quantitativo, realizado em um hospital psiquiátrico. Participaram 74 trabalhadores de enfermagem. A coleta dos dados ocorreu por meio de questionário para caracterização sociodemográfica, laboral e de condições de saúde e hábitos de vida, da subescala Número de Doenças Diagnosticadas pelo Médico, extraída do Índice de Capacidade para o Trabalho, do Questionário de Insônia de Ohayon e do Self Reporting Questionnaire – 20. A análise estatística foi realizada utilizando os testes qui-quadrado, exato de Fisher, t de Student e U de Mann Whitney. Resultados: A prevalência de transtornos mentais comuns foi de 25,7%. As variáveis associadas aos transtornos mentais comuns foram: categoria profissional (p=0,015), tempo para lazer (p<0,001), problemas de saúde (p=0,003) e satisfação com o sono (p=0,003). Conclusão: Os achados das associações permitem inferir que existe uma relação entre os hábitos de vida do trabalhador, sua atividade laborativa e o desfecho evidenciado pelo maior percentual de transtornos mentais comuns. Este estudo contribui com subsídios para propostas de intervenções e ações preventivas para o adoecimento.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional, quantitative study performed in a psychiatric hospital. Seventy-four nursing workers participated. Data were collected through a questionnaire for sociodemographic, occupational, and health and life habits characterization of the subscale Number of current diseases diagnosed by a physician, extracted from the Work Ability Index, the Ohayon Insomnia Questionnaire, and the Self-Reporting Questionnaire – 20. Statistical analysis was performed using chi-square, Fisher's exact, Student's t, and Mann-Whitney U tests. Results: The prevalence of common mental disorders was 25.7%. The variables associated with common mental disorders were: professional category (p = 0.015), leisure time (p <0.001), health problems (p = 0.003), and sleep satisfaction (p = 0.003). Conclusion: The findings of these associations allow us to infer that there is a relationship between workers’ life habits, their work activity, and the outcome evidenced by the higher percentage of common mental disorders. This study contributes with subsidies for proposing interventions and actions to prevent workers from becoming ill.

ABSTRACT This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of Curcuma longa on the growth performance, intestinal integrity, and antimicrobial activity of chicks colonized by Salmonella Typhimurium. The study included 672 one-day-old male chicks of the CobbTM lineage, which were divided into eight treatment groups with 14 birds per group and six repetitions, for a total of 48 experimental units per treatment. A randomized 4×2 factorial design scheme (C. longa levels × inoculation by Salmonella Typhimurium) was used. Chicks were orally inoculated with 1.2×104 cfu/mL of Salmonella Typhimurium in 0.5 mL of 0.85% buffered saline solution. Curcuma was added to the feed of chicks at 0, 1, 2, and 3% for 35 days. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and Tukey's test. Optimal feed conversion was observed in chicks given feed supplemented with 1% C. longa, regardless of infection, and 1% C. longa prevented intestinal colonization by Salmonella Typhimurium. Supplementation and bacterial infection influenced the histomorphometry and pH of the intestine. Bacterial infection reduced the intestinal pH, whereas C. longa supplementation increased the pH, but only in infected chicks. Thus, supplementation with 1% C. longa favors feed conversion, inhibits intestinal colonization by Salmonella Typhimurium, and does not alter intestinal integrity. In contrast, supplementation with 3% Curcuma longa decreases feed intake, affecting the performance of 35-day-old chicks.

Resumo Este estudo descreve as mudanças espaço-temporais da proporção de causas mal definidas no Brasil (1998-2012) e seus fatores associados. Coletamos informações da proporção de óbitos por causas mal definidas por idade (15-59 anos), sexo, período, local de residência, além de fatores socioeconômicos. Utilizou-se modelo multinível de Poisson para investigar os fatores associados às causas mal definidas dos óbitos. Ao contrário dos estados do sul e centro-oeste, identificou-se clusters com elevados níveis proporcionais destes óbitos nos estados do norte, nordeste e sudeste. A maior proporção de óbitos mal definidos ocorreu em 1998-2002 (0,09), no norte e nordeste (0,14 e 0,12, respectivamente), nos grupos etários mais velhos (0,09) e nos locais com condições socioeconômicas desfavoráveis. A análise ajustada indicou diferença dos níveis de causas mal definidas de acordo com a região, a idade, o período, a escolaridade, a desigualdade social e a renda. Nossos resultados sugerem que quanto menor a faixa etária e melhores as condições socioeconômicas, menor o risco de óbitos mal definidos. Apesar de nos últimos anos a qualidade dos dados de mortalidade no Brasil ter aumentado, os investimentos na melhoria do registro dos óbitos não podem ser descontinuadas.

Abstract This study describes the spatial-temporal changes of the proportion of ill-defined causes of death in Brazil (1998-2012) and investigates which demographic and socioeconomic factors affect this proportion. We collected information of the proportion of ill-defined causes of death by age (15-59 years), sex, period, locality, and socioeconomic data. We used a multilevel Poisson model to investigate which factors affect the risk of ill-defined causes of death. Unlike states located in the South and Midwest, we detected clusters with high proportional levels of these deaths in states in the North and Northeast regions. A greater proportion occurred in 1998-2002 (0.09), in the North and Northeast (0.14 and 0.12, respectively), in older age groups (0.09), and in places with poor socioeconomic conditions. The adjusted analysis showed differences in proportion according to the region, age, period, schooling, social inequality, and income. The results indicate that the lower the age group and the better the socioeconomic situation, the lower the risk to register the cause of death as ill-defined. Although over the past years, the quality of Brazil’s mortality data has gradually increased, investments towards improving mortality registries cannot be discontinued.

Resumo Objetivo: O objetivo deste estudo foi fazer uma revisão de literatura por intermédio da seleção e análise de estudos clínicos que investigassem os modelos de órteses para membros superiores, mais especificamente os tipos utilizados pelos profissionais da terapia ocupacional e, assim, produzir uma visão ampliada dessa demanda de modelos de órteses na área da terapia ocupacional em reabilitação da mão e membros superiores em sujeitos adultos. Método: Este estudo caracterizou-se como uma revisão narrativa da literatura acompanhada de uma análise descritiva nas bases eletrônicas de dados MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online / PubMed) e LILACS (Literatura científica e técnica da América Latina e Caribe/BVS - Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde), com busca restrita ao período de janeiro de 2007 a janeiro de 2017. Resultados: Foram encontrados cinco artigos completos de trabalhos realizados por/com terapeutas ocupacionais, com enfoque em confecção e utilização de órteses na reabilitação de membros superiores. Conclusão: Os estudos envolvendo o uso de órteses para membros superiores possuem diferentes objetivos e métodos de utilização, bem como variados modelos e materiais para a confecção e fabricação do dispositivo, sendo que os fatores de interferência dessas decisões são o paciente, o tipo de lesão/condição clínica e a adaptação do usuário com relação àquele dispositivo de tecnologia assistiva.

Abstract Objective: The objective of this study was to make a literature review through the selection and analysis of clinical studies investigating the models of orthoses for upper limbs, more specifically the types used by occupational therapy professionals, and thus to produce an expanded view of this demand for orthotic models in the area of occupational therapy in hand rehabilitation and upper limbs in adult subjects. Method: This study was characterized as a narrative review of the literature accompanied by a descriptive analysis in the electronic databases MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online / PubMed) and LILACS (Scientific and Technical Literature of Latin America and the Caribbean / Virtual Library In Health), with a search restricted from January 2007 to January 2017. Results: Five complete articles were found of work done by / with occupational therapists, focusing on confection and use of orthoses in the rehabilitation of upper limbs. Conclusion: The studies involving the use of orthoses for upper limbs have different objectives and methods of use, as well as varied models and materials for the confection and fabrication of the device, and the interference factors of these decisions are the patient, the type of injury / clinic condition and user adaptation in relation to that assistive technology device.

Resumo Este estudo descreve as mudanças espaço-temporais da proporção de causas mal definidas no Brasil (1998-2012) e seus fatores associados. Coletamos informações da proporção de óbitos por causas mal definidas por idade (15-59 anos), sexo, período, local de residência, além de fatores socioeconômicos. Utilizou-se modelo multinível de Poisson para investigar os fatores associados às causas mal definidas dos óbitos. Ao contrário dos estados do sul e centro-oeste, identificou-se clusters com elevados níveis proporcionais destes óbitos nos estados do norte, nordeste e sudeste. A maior proporção de óbitos mal definidos ocorreu em 1998-2002 (0,09), no norte e nordeste (0,14 e 0,12, respectivamente), nos grupos etários mais velhos (0,09) e nos locais com condições socioeconômicas desfavoráveis. A análise ajustada indicou diferença dos níveis de causas mal definidas de acordo com a região, a idade, o período, a escolaridade, a desigualdade social e a renda. Nossos resultados sugerem que quanto menor a faixa etária e melhores as condições socioeconômicas, menor o risco de óbitos mal definidos. Apesar de nos últimos anos a qualidade dos dados de mortalidade no Brasil ter aumentado, os investimentos na melhoria do registro dos óbitos não podem ser descontinuadas.

Abstract This study describes the spatial-temporal changes of the proportion of ill-defined causes of death in Brazil (1998-2012) and investigates which demographic and socioeconomic factors affect this proportion. We collected information of the proportion of ill-defined causes of death by age (15-59 years), sex, period, locality, and socioeconomic data. We used a multilevel Poisson model to investigate which factors affect the risk of ill-defined causes of death. Unlike states located in the South and Midwest, we detected clusters with high proportional levels of these deaths in states in the North and Northeast regions. Abstract Objective: To investigate the risk of illness and to the human cost at work from the point of view of the nursing team of a psychiatric hospital. Method: A cross-sectional study performed in a psychiatric hospital with 74 nursing workers. The Human Cost of Labor Scale was applied. Results: In the evaluation of the human cost at work, the cognitive cost factor was evaluated as a critical risk for the sickness of the nursing worker, while the factors affective cost and physical cost demonstrated a satisfactory evaluation. The items considered critical for illness referred to: having control of emotions, dealing with the aggressiveness of others, use of vision and memory, and repeated and repeated use of the legs and hands. Conclusion: The evaluated items reveal conditions critical to the health of the nursing worker in mental health, revealing risk of illness.

Resumen Objetivo: Investigar los riesgo de enfermedad y el costo humano en el trabajo desde el punto de vista del equipo de enfermería de un hospital psiquiátrico. Método: Estúdio transversal, realizado en un hospital psiquiátrico, con 74 trabajadores de enfermería. Se aplicó la Escala de Costo Humano en el Trabajo. Resultados: En la evaluación del costo humano en el trabajo, el factor costo cognitivo fue evaluado como riesgo crítico para la enfermedad del trabajador de enfermería, mientras que los factores costo afectivo y costo físico demostraron una evaluación satisfactoria. Los elementos considerados críticos para la enfermedad se refirieron a: tener control de las emociones, tratar con la agresividad de los demás, el uso de la visión y la memoria y el uso continuo y repetido de las piernas y las manos. Conclusión: Los ítems evaluados revelan condiciones críticas para la salud del trabajador de enfermería en salud mental, revelando riesgo de enfermedad.
