Resumen El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue realizar un análisis espacial de la precipitación en el Estado de Rio Grande do Norte (RN), a través de técnicas geoestadísticas, comparando el promedio histórico con años patrones lluviosos y secos. Para el análisis geoestadístico se utilizaron tres indicadores denominados Índice Global de Moran, Mapa de Moran y Diagrama de Dispersión de Moran. Los resultados mostraron que la precipitación sigue un patrón más evidente en la mesoregión oriental de Potiguar, ya que, tanto en el año considerado lluvioso, como en un año considerado seco, la mayor parte de esta mesoregión mostró un patrón Alto, Alto (HH), es decir, los municipios forman un conglomerado que representa la autocorrelación espacial asociada a los valores más altos de precipitación en el estado. Las regiones de Agreste y Potiguar Central fueron las más secas.

Resumo O objetivo principal desta pesquisa foi realizar uma análise espacial das precipitações no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (RN), através de técnicas geoestatísticas, comparando a média histórica com anos padrão chuvoso e seco. Para análise geoestatística, foram utilizados três indicadores denominados Índice Global de Moran, Moran Map e Diagrama de Espalhamento de Moran. Os resultados mostraram que as precipitações seguem um padrão mais evidente na mesorregião Leste potiguar. Tanto no ano considerado chuvoso, quanto no ano considerado seco, a maior parte dessa mesorregião apresentou um padrão Alto-Alto (HH), indicando que os municípios formam um agrupamento que representa autocorrelação espacial associada a valores mais elevados de precipitação no estado. Por outro lado, as regiões do Agreste e Central potiguar foram as mais secas.

Abstract The main goal of this research was to perform a spatial analysis of precipitation in the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) through geostatistical techniques, comparing the historical average data with rainy and dry standard years. Three indicators called Moran’s Global Index, Moran Map, and Moran’s Scattering Diagram were used for geostatistical analysis. The results showed that precipitation has a more evident pattern in the Eastern Potiguar mesoregion since both in the year considered rainy and, in a year considered dry, most of this mesoregion presented a (HH) pattern, that is, the municipalities form a cluster that represents spatial autocorrelation associated with higher values of precipitation in the state. The regions of Agreste and Central Potiguar were the driest.

Resumo Introdução: As patologias músculo-esqueléticas constituem um dos motivos mais frequentes de consulta em medicina geral e familiar. A elevada incidência destas patologias traduz-se também numa elevada necessidade de cuidados de reabilitação pelo que, em 2021, a prescrição de medicina física e reabilitação (MFR) destacou-se como o segundo maior gasto relativamente ao total da despesa com meios complementares de diagnóstico e terapêutica na região Norte. Assim, importa caracterizar os principais motivos de prescrição. Objetivos: Caracterizar a prescrição de consultas de MFR relativas a patologia osteoarticular e músculo-esquelética no Agrupamento de Centros de Saúde de Matosinhos (ACeS). Métodos: Estudo observacional e retrospetivo de todas as prescrições de MFR realizadas de janeiro a dezembro/2021 em todas as unidades de saúde constituintes de um ACeS, com caracterização sociodemográfica dos utentes e análise do número de prescrições e códigos de Classificação Internacional de Cuidados de Saúde Primários associados às mesmas. Resultados: O número médio de prescrições por USF foi de 1710,07. Verificou-se que 47,94% das prescrições corresponderam a primeira consulta de MFR, enquanto 52,06% corresponderam a consulta subsequente. A maioria das prescrições foi feita a utentes do sexo feminino (65,54%), com isenção do pagamento de taxas moderadoras (58,65%) e idade média de 57,15 anos. O problema de saúde mais frequentemente codificado foi L86 - Síndrome da Coluna com irradiação de dor, seguindo-se L92 - Síndrome do Ombro Doloroso, quer para primeira consulta quer para consulta subsequente. As patologias que originaram maior número de prescrições subsequentes/utente foram esclerose múltipla e parkinsonismo. Observou-se ainda que 46,76% das prescrições se acompanhavam de código ICPC-2 correspondente a diagnóstico passível de prescrição de fisioterapia. Conclusão: Trata-se de um estudo relevante que caracterizou as prescrições de MFR, permitindo conhecer as patologias que levaram à requisição destes cuidados, podendo constituir um ponto de partida para melhorar a adequação dos recursos em saúde.

Abstract Introduction: Musculoskeletal disorders are one of the most frequent reasons for medical appointments in primary care. The high incidence of these pathologies also translates into a high need for rehabilitation care. This is why, in 2021, the prescription of physical and rehabilitation medicine (PRM) stood out as the second highest expense in the total costs of complementary means of diagnostic and therapeutic, in the North of Portugal. Thus, it is important to describe the main reasons for prescription. Objective: To describe the prescriptions of PRM appointments related to osteoarticular and musculoskeletal pathology, in the Matosinhos group of Family Health Units (FHUs). Methods: Observational and retrospective study of all PRM prescriptions carried out from January to December 2021 in 14 FHUs, with sociodemographic characterization of users and analysis of the number of prescriptions and codes of the International Classification of Primary Health Care associated with them. Results: The mean number of prescriptions per FHU was 1710.07. It was found that 47.94% of the prescriptions corresponded to the first PRM appointment, while 52.06% corresponded to the subsequent appointments. Most prescriptions were made to female patients (65.54%), exempted from paying user fees (58.65%), and mean age of 57.15 years. The most frequently coded health problem was L86 - Painful Spine Syndrome, followed by L92 - Painful Shoulder Syndrome, both for first and subsequent appointments. The pathologies that originated the highest number of subsequent prescriptions per user were multiple sclerosis and parkinsonism. It was also observed that 46.76% of the prescriptions were accompanied by an ICPC-2 code corresponding to a valid diagnosis for physiotherapy prescription. Conclusion: This is a relevant study that characterized PRM prescriptions and allowed us to understand the pathologies that led to the need for this care, which may constitute a starting point for improving the adequacy of health resources.

In light of the need for social isolation caused by the pandemic, in-person classes were suspended, making way for emergency remote teaching (ERT). This abrupt transition allowed for no planning or preparation for the individuals involved in the teaching-learning process. In this context, it fell upon the educators to adapt to this new, atypical reality. The aim of this study was to describe the characteristics and challenges faced by teachers at IF Sudeste MG - Campus Rio Pomba during ERT and its impacts on the teaching-learning process. To achieve this, a structured questionnaire with the participation of 41 educators was used. Difficulties related to pedagogical training, use of technological tools and active teaching methodologies (ATM), and the adaptive process of educators were highlighted. Educators did not consider ERT capable of efficiently fulfilling the objectives of the disciplines, although they acknowledged the necessary institutional support. The self-assessment of teaching performance during ERT was predominantly positive. Prior to ERT, the use of ATM was lower, especially among educators above 40 years old and males; furthermore, difficulties in using ATM increased with age, with more males reporting not using them. The adaptation to ERT was considered moderate, and more educators aged 40 to 49 reported dissatisfaction with the work environment. Educators above 40 years old and females had a higher incidence of negative psychological symptoms during ERT. This study highlights the challenges educators faced during ERT, especially those over 40 years old and females.

Ante la necesidad de aislamiento social causada por la pandemia, las clases presenciales fueron suspendidas dando paso a la enseñanza remota de emergencia (ERE). Esta transición abrupta no permitió ningún tipo de planificación o preparación para los actores involucrados en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. En este contexto, a los docentes les correspondió el desafío de adaptarse a esta nueva realidad atípica. El objetivo de este estudio fue describir las características y desafíos enfrentados por los profesores del IF Sudeste MG - Campus Rio Pomba durante la ERE y sus impactos en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado con la participación de 41 docentes. Se evidenciaron dificultades relacionadas con la formación pedagógica, el uso de herramientas tecnológicas y de metodologías activas de enseñanza (MAE). Los docentes no consideraron que la ERE fuera capaz de cumplir eficientemente con los objetivos de las disciplinas, a pesar de reconocer el apoyo institucional necesario. La autoevaluación del desempeño docente durante la ERE fue predominantemente positiva. Antes de la ERE, el uso de MAE era menor, especialmente entre los docentes mayores de 40 años y los hombres; además, las dificultades en el uso de MAE aumentaron con la edad, siendo que más hombres informaron no utilizarlas. La adaptación a la ERE fue considerada moderada, y más docentes de 40 a 49 años informaron insatisfacción con el ambiente de trabajo. Los docentes mayores de 40 años y las mujeres tuvieron una incidencia de síntomas psicológicos negativos durante la ERE y enfrentaron mayores desafíos.

Diante da necessidade do isolamento social causada pela pandemia, as aulas presenciais foram suspensas dando lugar ao ensino remoto emergencial (ERE). Essa migração abrupta não permitiu nenhum planejamento ou preparação dos atores envolvidos no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Nesse contexto, coube ao docente o desafio de adaptar-se a essa nova realidade atípica. Dessa forma, objetivou-se com o presente estudo, descrever as características e desafios enfrentados pelos professores do IF Sudeste MG - Campus Rio Pomba durante o ERE e seus impactos no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Para isso, foi utilizado um questionário estruturado com participação de 41 docentes. Dificuldades relacionadas a formação pedagógica, uso de ferramentas tecnológicas e de metodologias ativas de ensino (MAE) e processo adaptativo dos docentes foram evidenciadas. Docentes não consideraram o ERE capaz de suprir eficientemente os objetivos das disciplinas, apesar de considerarem que houve apoio institucional necessário. A autoavaliação do desempenho docente durante o ERE foi predominantemente positiva. Antes do ERE, o uso de MAE era menor, especialmente entre os docentes acima de 40 anos e homens, além disso, as dificuldades do uso de MAE aumentaram com a idade, sendo que mais homens relataram não as utilizar. A adaptação ao ERE foi considerada mediana e, mais docentes de 40 a 49 anos relataram insatisfação com o ambiente de trabalho. Docentes acima de 40 anos e mulheres tiveram maior incidência de sintomas psicológicos negativos no ERE. Esse trabalho evidencia o desafio que os docentes passaram durante o ERE, especialmente para aqueles maiores de 40 anos e mulheres.

This work aimed to analyze the Sickle Cell Anemia (SCA) approach in Natural Sciences textbook collections approved in 2021 National Textbook and Teaching Material Program (PNLD) for High School. The focus of these analyses was: the racial discourse associated with SCA and scientific racism; health approaches; and adequacy from a clinical-scientific point of view. To this end, the content analysis proposed by Bardin was adopted, involving textbooks floating reading, the creation or adaptation of categories and indicators for analysis, the material description and the interpreting the data collected. The data was compared with previous analyses of the approach to SCA in biology textbooks from the 2012 and 2015 PNLD. The approach to SCA, when it did occur in the current collections, was linked to natural selection, without focusing on racial issues, and based on a molecular description. There was a silencing of the approach to SCA in relation to the findings of previous research. In addition, biomedical and reductionist approaches to SCA continued to predominate, disregarding socio-political and historical aspects related to the disease.

El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar el abordaje de la Anemia Falciforme (AF) en las colecciones de Ciencias Naturales y sus Tecnologías aprobadas en el Programa Nacional de Libros de Texto y Material Didáctico (PNLD) 2021 para la enseñanza media. El foco de ese análisis fue: el discurso racial asociado a la Anemia Falciforme y el racismo científico; los abordajes de salud; y la adecuación del punto de vista clínico-científico. Para ello, se adoptó el análisis de contenido propuesto por Bardin, que implica la lectura flotante de las colecciones, la creación o adaptación de categorías e indicadores para el análisis, la descripción del material y la interpretación de los datos. Los datos se compararon con análisis anteriores sobre el abordaje de la AF en los libros de texto de biología de los PNLD de 2012 y 2015. La aproximación a la AF, cuando se producía en las colecciones actuales, estaba vinculada a la selección natural, sin centrarse en cuestiones raciales, y basada en una descripción molecular. Hubo un silenciamiento del abordaje de la AF en relación a los hallazgos de investigaciones anteriores. Además, siguieron predominando los enfoques biomédicos y reduccionistas de la AF, sin tener en cuenta los aspectos sociopolíticos e históricos relacionados con la enfermedad.

Os focos desta análise foram: o discurso racial associado a AF e ao racismo científico; as abordagens de saúde; e a adequação do ponto de vista clínico-científico. Para tanto, adotou-se a análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin, envolvendo a leitura flutuante das coleções, a criação ou a adaptação de categorias e indicadores para análise, a descrição do material e a interpretação dos dados. Os dados foram comparados com análises anteriores sobre a abordagem da AF em livros didáticos de biologia do PNLD de 2012 e de 2015. A abordagem da AF, quando ocorreu nas coleções atuais, esteve atrelada a seleção natural, sem pautar questões raciais, e a partir de uma descrição molecular. Observou-se um silenciamento na abordagem sobre a AF em relação aos achados de pesquisas anteriores. Além disso, manteve-se a predominância de abordagens biomédicas e reducionistas sobre a AF, desconsiderando aspectos sociopolíticos e históricos relacionados a doença.

Abstract Background: Real-world, primary data on the treatment of psoriasis are scarce, especially concerning the role of soluble biomarkers as outcome predictors. Objective: The authors evaluated the utility of Th1/Th17 serum cytokines along with clinical characteristics as predictors of drug survival in the treatment of psoriasis. Methods: The authors consecutively included participants with moderate to severe psoriasis who were followed up for 6 years. Baseline interferon-α, tumor necrosis factor-α, and inter-leukin (IL)-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, and IL-17A were measured using a cytometric bead array; clinical data were assessed. The authors calculated hazard ratios (HRs) for drug survival using a Cox proportional hazards model. Results: The authors included 262 patients, most of whom used systemic immunosuppressants or biologics. In the multivariate model, poor quality of life measured by the Dermatology Life Quality Index (HR = 1.04; 95% CI 1.01–1.07; p = 0.012) and elevated baseline IL-6 (HR = 1.99; 95% CI 1.29–3.08; p = 0.002) were associated with treatment interruption. Study limitations: The main limitation of any cohort study is the presence of confounders that could not be detected in clinical evaluation. Conclusions: Poor quality of life and elevated baseline serum IL-6 level predicted treatment interruption in patients with moderate to severe psoriasis. Although IL-6 is not the most important mediator of the inflammatory pathway in the skin environment, it is an interesting biomarker candidate for predicting psoriasis treatment response.

Resumo A atividade antioxidante do mel de Tetragonisca angustula (TAH) e seu extrato etanólico (TAEE) foram investigados. Os níveis totais de fenólicos (TPC) e flavonóides (TFC) também foram avaliados. Os resultados para TPC foram 19,91 ± 0,38 e 29,37 ± 1,82 mg GAE g-1 e para TFC 0,20 ± 0,02 e 0,14 ± 0,01 mg QE g-1 de TAH e TAEE, respectivamente. As atividades antioxidantes foram 73,29 ± 0,49% e 93,36 ± 0,27% no ensaio DPPH● e 71,73 ± 4,07% e 97,86 ± 0,35% no ABTS●+ para TAH e TAEE, respectivamente. A atividade redutora total foi determinada pelo método de poder redutor (PR) e íon ferrico (Fe III) e os resultados variaram em PR de 151,7 ± 25,7 e 230,7 ± 25,2 mg GAE L-1, para TAH e TAEE respectivamente e para (Fe III) em EC50 0,284 em TAEE e 0,687 em TAH. A análise química por HPLC-DAD do extrato etanólico (TAEE) revelou a presença de ácido ferúlico como componente majoritário no extrato. A análise de RMN 1H confirmou esta estrutura e mostrou a presença de glicose, ácido cítrico, ácido succínico, prolina e derivados de hidrocarbonetos no TAEE. Além disso, a origem botânica também foi investigada e apresentou característica multifloral, tendo encontrado 19 tipos polínicos com predomínio botânico da família Anacardiaceae, sendo o pólen Tapirira predominante (42,6%) e o Schinus secundário (25,7%). Os resultados mostraram que o mel de T. angustula é uma interessante fonte de compostos fenólicos antioxidantes devido à sua origem floral e pode atuar como protetor da saúde humana quando consumido.

Abstract The antioxidant activity of Tetragonisca angustula honey (TAH) and its ethanolic extract (TAEE) were investigated. The total levels of phenolic (TPC) and flavonoids (TFC) were also evaluated. The results for TPC were 19.91 ± 0.38 and 29.37 ± 1.82 mg GAE g-1 and for TFC 0.20 ± 0.02 and 0.14 ± 0.01 mg QE g-1 of TAH and TAEE, respectively. Antioxidant activities were 73.29 ± 0.49% and 93.36 ± 0.27% in the DPPH● assay and 71.73 ± 4.07% and 97.86 ± 0.35% in ABTS●+ for TAH and TAEE, respectively. The total reducing activity was determined by the method of reducing power (PR) and iron ion (Fe III) and the results varied in PR from 151.7 ± 25.7 and 230.7 ± 25.2 mg GAE L-1, for TAH and TAEE respectively and for (Fe III) in EC50 0.284 in TAEE and 0.687 in TAH. Chemical analysis by HPLC-DAD of the ethanolic extract (TAEE) revealed the presence of ferulic acid as majority phenolic component in the extract. The 1H NMR analysis confirmed this structure and showed the also presence of glucose, citric acid, succinic acid, proline and hydrocarbon derivatives. In addition, the botanical origin was also investigated and showed a multifloral characteristic, having found 19 pollen types with a botanical predominance of the Anacardiaceae family, with Tapirira pollen occurring as predominant (42.6%) and Schinus as secondary (25.7%). The results showed that T. angustula honey is an interesting source of antioxidant phenolic compounds due to its floral origin and can act as a protector of human health when consumed.

Qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study conducted between August and November 2022. The participants were 19 pregnant women from a Family Health Strategy in the central region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected through individual interviews following prenatal meetings and analyzed using thematic analysis. The analysis of the data revealed three thematic axes: Prenatal care: the necessary reconnection of knowledge; Collective prenatal care: collaborative (re)construction of experiences and practices; and Educational technology: tool to foster self-reflection and self-knowledge. Collective prenatal care, facilitated by educational technology, can promote better practices in the pregnancy-postpartum journey by creating collaborative and shared environments for knowledge construction and enabling autonomous and informed decision-making.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the antibiotic profile of microorganisms isolated from urine samples of patients with community urine tract infections (UTI) admitted to the University Hospital of the Federal University of Sao Carlos to support an appropriate local empirical treatment. A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted from October 2018 to October 2020. Data from 1,528 positive urine cultures for bacterial pathogens and antibiograms were tabulated. Bacterial species prevalence and their resistance profile were analyzed and compared by sex and age. For Gram-negative fermenting bacteria, resistance rates were compared between patients with previous hospitalization and the total of infections caused by this group. For comparisons, the Chi-square test was performed, using Fisher’s exact test when necessary (BioEstat program, adopting p ≤ 0.05). A multivariate analysis was applied to assess the effect of the studied variables in predicting multidrug resistance. Infections were more prevalent in women and older adults. Gram-negative bacteria represented 90.44% of total cultures. In both sexes, E. coli prevalence was significantly higher in adults compared with older adults (p < 0.0001). For several antibiotics, resistance rates were higher in the older adults compared with other ages and in patients with Gram-negative fermenting infections and previous hospitalization compared with the total of infections by this group of bacteria. The closer to the hospitalization, the higher the number of antibiotics with superior resistance rates. Resistance rates for aminoglycosides, carbapenems, ceftazidime, nitrofurantoin, piperacillin+tazobactam, and fosfomycin were less than 20%, considered adequate for empirical treatment. Only hospitalization in the previous 90 days was statistically significant in predicting infections by multidrug-resistant bacteria.

ABSTRACT In Brazil, the COVID-19 burden was substantial, and risk factors associated with higher in-hospital mortality rates have been extensively studied. However, information on short-term all-cause mortality and the factors associated with death in patients who survived the hospitalization period of acute SARS-CoV-2 infection is limited. We analyzed the six-month post-hospitalization mortality rate and possible risk factors of COVID-19 patients in a single center in Brazil. This is a retrospective cohort study focused on a six-month follow-up. The exclusion criteria were death during hospitalization, transference to another hospital, and age under 18. We collected data from the charts of all hospitalized patients from March 2020 to December 2020 with a positive RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2, resulting in a sample size of 106 patients. The main outcome was death after hospitalization, whereas comorbidities and demographics were evaluated as risk factors. The crude post-hospitalization death rate was 16%. The first 30 days of follow-up had the highest mortality rate. In a Cox regression model for post-hospitalization mortality, previous chronic kidney disease (HR, 4.06, 95%CI 1.46 – 11.30) and longer hospital stay (HR 1.01, 95%CI 1.00 – 1.02) were the only factors statistically associated with death. In conclusion, a high six-month all-cause mortality was observed. Within the six-month follow-up, a higher risk of death was observed for patients who had prior CKD and longer hospital stay. These findings highlight the importance of more intensive medical surveillance during this period.

Abstract Studies investigating the effects of different modalities of exercises on the immune system are scarce. Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare the effects of eight weeks of resistance and aerobic training on the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes from mice. Eighteen male C56BL6/J mice were divided into groups (n=6), sedentary, aerobic, and resistance training. After 8 weeks, animals were euthanized, and their splenocytes were labeled and cultured with and without stimulation. Lymphocyte proliferation (CD4+, CD8+ and CD21/CD35+) was evaluated by flow cytometry. The mice subjected to resistance exercise exhibited greater proliferation for total, CD8+ and B lymphocytes (p<0.05), but not CD4+ cells (p>0.05), compared with their sedentary counterparts. We found significant correlations between maximum load and total, CD8+ and B lymphocytes proliferation rates (p<0.05). In conclusion, our results showed that resistance training promoted an improvement in the immune response associated with CD8+ and B lymphocytes.

Abstract Large quantities of residual cooking oil are being increasingly generated in various sectors, as it is often improperly disposed of and causes serious environmental problems. A commonly used alternative is the use of lipases in enzymatic hydrolysis, since it is rather attractive to several sectors, in addition to allowing the use of products generated thereof, such as: free fatty acids, diacylglycerols, monoacylglycerols and free glycerol, moreover, it is capable of operating in mild temperature and pressure conditions. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate alternatives for the hydrolysis of residual frying oil by evaluating the efficiency of different types of supports and heating systems using free and immobilized forms of lipase from Burkholderia cepacia (BCL) and Porcine pancreas (PPL) as biocatalyst. Polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB), niobium oxide (Nb2O5) and chitosan (CHIT) were evaluated as support for immobilizing BCL and PPL lipases, and superior results were found regarding the hydrolytic activity of immobilization derivatives using PHB and Nb2O5. Among the heating systems under evaluation, the highest percentage of residual oil hydrolysis was found using the ultrasound system for both free and immobilized lipases, reaching 57.91% hydrolysis for lipases immobilized on Nb2O5 and 61.11% hydrolysis for the derivative immobilized on PHB. The operational stability of both biocatalysts was evaluated using similar half-life time values for both. Thus, it was observed that the ultrasound system was efficient in improving lipase performance in the hydrolysis of free fatty acids, once this unconventional heating system is quite promising for accelerating such enzymatic reactions.

Abstract This article aims to explore the perception of pregnant women regarding collective prenatal care facilitated by educational technology, in the light of complexity thinking. Qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study conducted between August and November 2022. The participants were 19 pregnant women from a Family Health Strategy in the central region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected through individual interviews following prenatal meetings and analyzed using thematic analysis. The analysis of the data revealed three thematic axes: Prenatal care: the necessary reconnection of knowledge; Collective prenatal care: collaborative (re)construction of experiences and practices; and Educational technology: tool to foster self-reflection and self-knowledge. Collective prenatal care, facilitated by educational technology, can promote better practices in the pregnancy-postpartum journey by creating collaborative and shared environments for knowledge construction and enabling autonomous and informed decision-making.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é conhecer a percepção de gestantes sobre o pré-natal coletivo mediado por tecnologia educativa, à luz do pensamento da complexidade. Pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva realizada entre os meses de agosto e novembro de 2022. Participaram da pesquisa 19 gestantes de uma Estratégia de Saúde da Família da região central do Rio Grande do Sul. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista individual, após encontros de pré-natal e analisados pela técnica de análise temática. Dos dados analisados resultaram três eixos temáticos: Assistência pré-natal: a necessária religação de saberes; Pré-natal coletivo: (re)construção colaborativa de vivências e práticas; e Tecnologia educacional: ferramenta indutora de autorreflexão e autoconhecimento. O pré-natal coletivo, mediado por tecnologia educativa, é capaz de induzir melhores práticas no percurso gravídico-puerperal pelo fomento de espaços colaborativos e compartilhados de construção do conhecimento e pela tomada de decisões autônomas e responsáveis.

Abstract Since its origin in the surgical medicine of the 17th century, trauma research has had multiple interpretations and has been associated either with visible injuries to organs and tissues, or with the influence of pathogenic psychic agents on memory, consciousness and personality. With the intensification of the role of classification systems since DSM-III, the phenomenon of trauma came to be incorporated into the psychiatric realm through Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and destined finally to the constraints of neuroscientific research. Based on a narrative review, this article will address one of the fundamental epistemological premises for this transition, which informs how psychological trauma gained autonomy over anatomical descriptions to be reclassified, around a century later, as an essentially bodily phenomenon and incorporated into the jargon of neurosciences.

Resumo Desde o seu nascimento na medicina cirúrgica do século XVII, a pesquisa do trauma admitiu interpretações múltiplas e associadas ora às lesões visíveis de órgãos e tecidos, ora à influência de agentes psíquicos patogênicos sobre a memória, a consciência e a personalidade. Com o aprofundamento do papel dos sistemas classificatórios desde DSM-III, o fenômeno do trauma será incorporado ao prisma psiquiátrico através do Transtorno de Estresse Pós-Traumático e destinado, finalmente, à circunscrição da pesquisa neurocientífica. A partir de revisão narrativa, este artigo abordará uma das premissas epistemológicas fundamentais para essa transição, que informa como o trauma psicológico ganhou autonomia sobre as descrições anatômicas para ser, cerca de um século depois, por ela reanexado enquanto fenômeno essencialmente corporal e aderido à gramática das neurociências.
