Resumo: Ao contrário do que previa a tese clássica da secularização, a religiosidade não combaliu. Na realidade, o que temos observado na contemporaneidade poderia ser definido como um caso de reconfiguração religiosa de características próprias. Dentre as mais diversas e significativas mudanças no cenário religioso brasileiro dos últimos anos, destaca-se a desinstitucionalização, incluindo a evangélica. Os evangélicos sem-igreja, termo usado para designar os que se encontram nesse processo, estão inseridos numa variável crescente. O presente artigo busca ponderar a respeito desses novos sujeitos religiosos, bem como estudar a relação entre o seu crescimento vinculado aos aspectos próprios do recente período histórico da modernidade radicalizada nele reverberados. Para tanto, toma a comunidade Caminho da Graça, liderada por Caio Fábio D’Araújo Filho, como principal caso de campo.

Abstract: In a contrary way to the classic thesis of secularization, religiosity did not falter. In fact, all that we have observed in contemporaneity could be defined as a case of religious reconfiguration of its own characteristics. Among the most diverse and significant changes in the Brazilian religious scene of the last few years, the deinstitutionalization, including the evangelical one, stands out. The unchurched evangelicals, a term used to describe those in this process, are embedded in a growing variable. This paper seeks to ponder about these new religious subjects, as well as to study the relationship between their growth linked to the own aspects of modernity radicalized in it reverberated. To do so, the research takes the Caminho da Graça community, led by Caio Fábio D’Araújo Filho, as the main field case.

Abstract The expression of morphological differences between the castes of social bees is triggered by dietary regimes that differentially activate nutrient-sensing pathways and the endocrine system, resulting in differential gene expression during larval development. In the honey bee, Apis mellifera, mitochondrial activity in the larval fat body has been postulated as a link that integrates nutrient-sensing via hypoxia signaling. To understand regulatory mechanisms in this link, we measured reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, oxidative damage to proteins, the cellular redox environment, and the expression of genes encoding antioxidant factors in the fat body of queen and worker larvae. Despite higher mean H2O2 levels in queens, there were no differences in ROS-mediated protein carboxylation levels between the two castes. This can be explained by their higher expression of antioxidant genes (MnSOD, CuZnSOD, catalase, and Gst1) and the lower ratio between reduced and oxidized glutathione (GSH/GSSG). In worker larvae, the GSG/GSSH ratio is elevated and antioxidant gene expression is delayed. Hence, the higher ROS production resulting from the higher respiratory metabolism in queen larvae is effectively counterbalanced by the up-regulation of antioxidant genes, avoiding oxidative damage. In contrast, the delay in antioxidant gene expression in worker larvae may explain their endogenous hypoxia response.

Atualmente, observa-se em parte dos docentes em exercício um sentimento de desmotivação em relação à sua profissão. Frequente entre os educadores, a síndrome de burnout caracteriza-se pela perda do sentimento de realização no trabalho, com produtividade diminuída. Nesse contexto, objetivou-se avaliar a presença dos sintomas dessa síndrome entre profissionais do ensino público e privado no município de Viçosa/MG, de modo que se identificasse qual grupo estaria mais predisposto a desenvolvê-la. Os dados obtidos não permitem quantificar se os docentes apresentam a síndrome de burnout, mas é possível inferir que docentes de instituições públicas apresentam características que os tornam mais propensos a manifestar tal síndrome, quando comparados aos profissionais que atuam no ensino privado.

Currently, there are some practicing teachers who are unmotivated. Frequent among educators, the burnout syndrome is characterized by a loss of the sense of accomplishment at work and decreased productivity. In this context, the objective was to assess the presence of symptoms of burnout syndrome among professionals in public and private schools in Viçosa/MG, and to identify which group was more prone to develop it. The data does not quantify whether teachers have burnout syndrome or not, but it is possible to infer that teachers of public institutions have characteristics that make them more likely to manifest the syndrome, when compared to teachers in private education.

En la actualidad, se observa en parte de los docentes en ejercicio, una sensación de desmotivación en relación a su profesión. Frecuente entre los educadores, el síndrome de burnout se caracteriza por la pérdida de sentimiento de realización en el trabajo, con productividad disminuida. En este contexto, el objetivo fue evaluar la presencia de síntomas de síndrome de burnout entre los profesionales de las escuelas públicas y privadas de la ciudad de Viços/MG, con el fin de idenetificar qué grupo estaría más propenso a desarrollarla. Los datos obtenidos no permiten cuantificar si los docentes presentan síntomas del síndrome de burnout, pero sí permiten inferir que los profesores de las instituciones públicas poseen características que los vuelven más propensos a manifestar el síndrome, en comparación con los profesionales de la educación privada.

Foram conduzidos seis ensaios de metabolismo no Departamento de Zootecnia da Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA) no ano de 2002, com objetivo de avaliar a composição química e nutricional de 8 alimentos protéicos e 10 energéticos. Para o primeiro ensaio, foram selecionados animais de peso-vivo médio de 40,4 kg, sendo analisado o farelo de algodão, soja micronizada, farelo de soja, farelo de linhaça, farinha de pâncreas suíno, farinha de vísceras suína, milho comum, milheto em grão e moído, resíduo de bolacha, óleo de canola, óleo de linhaça, óleo de soja, gordura de coco e gordura suína. Para o segundo ensaio, foram selecionados animais de 50,2 kg e foi analisado o farelo de amendoim e milho QPM. Um total de 72 suínos machos, castrados e mestiços (Landrace x Large White), foram utilizados nos ensaios, e a metodologia adotada foi a da coleta total de fezes e urina. Desta forma, cada alimento foi testado em três repetições. Os valores obtidos de coeficiente de digestibilidade da proteína bruta (CDPB), valores de energia digestível (ED) e energia metabolizável (EM) para os alimentos protéicos de origem vegetal foram 66,2%, 2480 kcal/kg, 2190 kcal/kg, para farelo de algodão; 77,73%, 2365 kcal/kg, 2289 kcal/kg, para o farelo de girassol; 72,3%, 2880 kcal/kg, 2580 kcal/kg para farelo de linhaça; 86,5%, 3430 kcal, 3360 kcal/kg para farelo de soja 46% proteína bruta; 86,8%, 4580 kcal/kg, 4350 kcal/kg para soja micronizada; 81,2%, 3292 kcal/kg, 3146 kcal/kg para o farelo de amendoim. Para os alimentos protéicos de origem animal foram 47,3%, 3470 kcal/kg, 3310 kcal/kg para farinha de pâncreas suína; 81,3%, 3660 kcal/kg, 3535 kcal/kg para farinha de vísceras suína. Para os alimentos energéticos de origem vegetal foram 84,4%, 3220 kcal/kg, 3185 kcal/kg para a farinha de bolacha; 85,3%, 3480 kcal, 3320 kcal/kg para o milho moído; 81,2%, 3308 kcal/kg; 3257 kcal/kg para o milho QPM; 86,2%, 3213 kcal/kg, 3048 kcal/kg para o milheto moído; 83,5%, 3123 kcal/kg, 2950 kcal /kg para o milheto em grão inteiro. Para óleos e gorduras os valores de energia digestível (ED) e energia metabolizável (EM) foram 8630 kcal/kg, 8340 kcal/kg para o óleo de canola; 8380 kcal/kg, 8220 kcal/kg para o óleo de linhaça; 8670 kcal/kg, 8340 kcal/kg para o óleo de soja; 8110 kcal/kg, 7960 kcal/kg para a gordura de coco; 8630 kcal/kg, 8280 kcal/kg para a gordura suína. De uma maneira geral, os dados analisados mostram variações na composição química, digestibilidade e valores energéticos dos alimentos, em relação aos citados nas tabelas brasileiras e estrangeiras, e valores citados por outras pesquisas referenciadas nas literaturas consultadas. Os valores obtidos no presente trabalho, além de fornecerem subsídios para aumentar as informações do banco de dados como forma de contribuir na elaboração de uma tabela nacional de alimentos para suínos, também poderão possibilitar melhorias técnicas para a formulação de rações para suínos.

Six metabolism trials were conducted in the Animal Science Department at University of Lavras- (UFLA) with the objective to evaluate the chemical and nutritional composition of 8 protein and 10 energetic feeds utilized in swine rations. In the first metabolism assay , the pigs of means of 40.4 kg were utilized and the feeds cotton meal, micronized soybean, soybean meal, linseed meal, swine pancreas meal, swine viscera meal, common corn, ground and grain millet, backery residue, canola oil, linseed oil, soybean oil, coconut fat and swine fat were analyzed. In the second assa, the pigs with means of 50.2 kg were utilized and the feeds as peanuts meal and QPM corn were analyzed. All over the metabolism assays , a total of 72 barrows from crossbred (Landrace x Large White) were used, the methodology of the total collection of feces and urine were utilized. This way each feeds were tested in three replicates. The values of crude protein digestibility coefficient (CPDC), digestible energy (DE) and metabolizable energy (ME) for the proteic feeds from vegetal by-products were 66,2%, 2480 Kcal/kg, 2190 Kcal/kg for cottonseed meal; 77,3%, 2365 Kcal/kg, 2289 Kcal/kg for sun flower meal; 72,3%, 2880 Kcal/kg, 2580 Kcal/kg for linseed meal; 86,5%,3430 Kcal/kg., 3360 Kcal/kg for soybean meal 46% of crude protein; 86,8.8%, 4580 Kcal/kg, 4359 Kcal/kg for micronized soybean; 81,2% 3292 Kcal/kg, 3146 Kcal/kg for peanuts meal. For the protein feeds from animal by-products were 47,3%, 3470 Kcal/kg, 3310 Kcal/kg for swine pancreas meal; 81,3%, 3660 Kcal/kg, 3550 Kcal/kg for swine viscera meal. For the energetic feed from vegetal by-product were 84,4%, 3220 Kcal/kg, 3185 Kcal/kg for biscuit meal; 85,3%, 3480 Kcal/kg, 3320 Kcal/kg for ground corn; 81.2%, 3308 Kcal/kg; 3257 Kcal/kg for QPM corn; 86.2%, 3213 Kcal/kg, 3048 Kcal/kg for ground millet; 83.5%, 3123 Kcal/kg, 2950 Kcal/kg for whole grain millet. For both oils and fats, the values of digestible energy (DE) and metabolizable energy (ME) were 8630 Kcal/kg, 8340 Kcal/kg for canola oil; 8380 Kcal/kg, 8220 Kcal/kg for linseed oil; 8670 Kcal/kg, 8340 Kcal/kg for soybean oil 8110 Kcal/kg , 7960 Kcal/kg for coconut fat; 8360 Kcal/kg, 8280 Kcal/kg for swine fat. In general, the data analyzed shown variations in the chemical composition, digestibility and energetic values of the feeds relative to those cited in the Brazilian and foreign tables and values reported by other researchers. The value obtained, in addition to furnishing subsides to increase information for data bank relative to the making of table for national swine feed table also will be able to contribute to tecnal improvement in formulating swine rations.

Analisa-se, em material de necropsias, a ocorrência de carcinoma esofágico em não-chagásicos e em chagásicos com e sem megaesôfago. Observou-se um aumento altamente significativo da freqüência do carcinoma de esôfago associado ao megaesôfago, em relação aos controles e aos chagásicos sem megaesôfago. A associação entre carcinoma esofágico e infecção chagásica não foi estatisticamente significativa.

We analised, in autopsies, the occurrence oj esophagic carcinoma in non-chagasic patients and in chagasic ones with and without megaesophagus. The frequency of esophagic carcinoma was significantly higher in patients with megaesophagus than in Controls and chagasic patients without megaesophagus. The association between carcinoma oj the esophagus and chagasic injection per se was not statistically significant.
