RESUMO Esta pesquisa do tipo exploratória descritiva objetivou analisar a execução do Programa Saúde na Escola (PSE) no Distrito Federal, no período anterior e durante a pandemia da Covid-19. Os dados foram produzidos de fevereiro a abril de 2022 mediante pesquisa documental e aplicação de questionário on-line a profissionais das equipes de Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS), no âmbito do Programa de Qualificação da Atenção Primária do Distrito Federal (QualisAPS). Foram acessados os bancos de dados do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira, do Sistema de Informação para a Atenção Básica e da Plataforma QualisAPS sobre as ações desenvolvidas de 2018 a 2021, a estruturação do programa e a sua inclusão nos planos de ação das equipes de saúde da família e saúde bucal. Por meio de estatística descritiva e análise de conteúdo, evidenciaram-se ampliação da adesão das escolas ao Programa e predominância de registros referentes à temática saúde bucal e verificação vacinal nos dois períodos, mas com redução quantitativa em decorrência da pandemia. A realidade do Distrito Federal desvela que a inter-relação do PSE com a APS e o apoio do QualisAPS favorecem um processo contínuo de planejamento trazendo perspectivas de fortalecimento das ações.

The reality of the Federal District reveals that the interrelation of the Program with PHC and the support of QualisAPS enable a continuous planning process, bringing prospects for strengthening the actions.

Abstract Objective: This study aims to describe the epidemiological characteristics and survival rates of children with acute myeloid leukemia treated in hospitals in southern Brazil and compare them with international data. Methods: A multicenter cohort study was conducted with retrospective data collection of all new patients with acute myeloid leukemia under 18 treated at five referral centers in pediatric hematology-oncology in southern Brazil between January 2005 and December 2015. Results: Of the 149 patients with acute myeloid leukemia, 63.0% (n = 94) were male. The median age at diagnosis was 10.5 years (range 0–18 years) and 40.3% (n = 60) had a white blood cell count below 50,000/mm2. The most common Franco-American-British (FAB) subtype was M3 (n = 43, 28.9%). Nine (6.0%) patients had central nervous system disease. In M3 patients, overall survival (OS) was 69.2% and 3-year event-free survival was 67.7%; in non-M3 patients, these rates were 45.3% and 36.7%, respectively. In non-M3 patients, OS was significantly different between transplanted (61.8%) and non-transplanted (38.2%) patients (p = 0.031). Conclusions: These results show a higher prevalence of the Franco-American-British M3 subtype than that reported in the international literature, as well as a decreased OS compared with that of developed countries. Further multicenter Brazilian studies with a larger sample size are encouraged to better understand the characteristics of acute myeloid leukemia, and to improve the treatment and prognosis in this population.

Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o desempenho do modelo “operational simplified surface energy balance” (SSEBop) na estimativa da evapotranspiração real (ETa) das culturas de soja e feijão irrigadas por pivô central. As estimativas do modelo foram obtidas de imagens digitais dos satélites Landsat 7 e Landsat 8 e comparadas à ETa obtida pelo método da razão de Bowen. O modelo foi avaliado pelo índice de concordância refinado (dr), pela raiz do erro médio quadrático (RMSE) e pelo erro médio absoluto (MBE). O desempenho do modelo nas estimativas da evapotranspiração real foi classificado pelo índice de desempenho (Pi). A relação entre as estimativas do modelo e o método da razão de Bowen apresentou correlação (r=0,94) e concordância (dr=0,82), com erro médio quadrático de 0,62 mm por dia e erro médio absoluto de 0,04 mm por dia. O desempenho das estimativas do modelo SSEBop, em comparação ao método da razão de Bowen, foi classificado como ótimo (Pi=0,77), o que comprova a utilidade do SSEBop e a precisão de suas estimativas de evapotranspiração real para culturas irrigadas como soja e feijão.

Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the performance of the operational simplified surface energy balance (SSEBop) model in the estimation of the actual evapotranspiration (ETa) of soybean and bean crops irrigated by a central pivot. The model estimates were obtained from digital images of the Landsat 7 and Landsat 8 satellites, and were compared with the ETa obtained by the Bowen ratio method. The model was evaluated by the refined agreement index (dr), root mean square error (RMSE), and mean bias error (MBE). The model’s performance in the estimation of the ETa was classified by the performance index (Pi). The relationship between the estimates of the model and the Bowen ratio method showed correlation (r=0.94) and agreement (dr=0.82), with a mean square error of 0.62 mm per day and a mean bias error of 0.04 mm per day. The estimate perfomance of the SSEBop model in comparison with the Bowen ratio method, was classified as optimal (Pi=0.77), proving the SSEBop usability and precision to estimate ETa for irrigated crops, such as soybean and bean.

Abstract The aim is to verify the determining factors for the practice of regular physical activity in leisure in adults with visual impairment in Greater Florianópolis. A pre-structured and validated interview was applied in 168 visually impaired adults, members of one Association for Integration of the Blind. The results show that 44% are in the range recommended for BMI and 30% considered active, unlike these individuals in childhood, when 63% of them were considered active. In the analysis of odds ratios, it was found that adults with active behavior in childhood have a lower chance of being active in adult life, and those who have completed full or post-graduate education and were moderately active in childhood are more likely to be active than other adults with visual impairment. These results show a significant increase in sedentary lifestyle, overweight and obesity in this population segment, increasing the chances of developing chronic noncommunicable diseases.

Resumo Objetivo: Verificar os fatores determinantes para a prática de atividade física regular no lazer em adultos com deficiência visual da Grande Florianópolis. Método: Foi realizada uma entrevista pré-estruturada e validada com 168 adultos com deficiência visual, membros da Associação Catarinense para Integração dos Cegos. Resultados: 44% estão na faixa recomendável para o IMC e 30% são considerados ativos atualmente, diferentemente destes indivíduos na infância, quando 63% eram considerados ativos. Nas análises de razão de chances, encontrou-se que aqueles que apresentavam comportamento ativo na infância possuem menores chances de serem ativos na vida adulta e aqueles que possuem ensino superior completo ou pós-graduação e foram moderadamente ativos na infância possuem mais chances de serem ativos do que os demais adultos com deficiência visual. Conclusão: Estes resultados mostram o aumento significativo de sedentarismo, sobrepeso e obesidade neste segmento populacional, aumentando ainda mais as chances de desenvolverem doenças crônicas não transmissíveis.

OBJETIVO: Verificar o diagnóstico otoneurológico de idosos com tontura e a interferência deste sintoma na qualidade de vida. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, realizado com 56 idosos com tontura, com média de idade de 71,2 anos, submetidos à avaliação otoneurológica que envolveu: audiometria tonal, audiometria vocal, imitanciometria, provas de equilíbrio, pesquisa do nistagmo e vertigem de posição e posicionamento e vectoeletronistagmografia. Para avaliar a qualidade de vida, utilizou-se um questionário específico para tontura, o Dizziness Handicap Inventory (DHI), que verifica os efeitos incapacitantes provocados por este distúrbio. RESULTADOS: A tontura rotatória foi referida por 29 pacientes (51,8%), 75% apresentaram alguma queixa auditiva e 69,6% apresentaram audiometria alterada. Os pacientes com queixas vestibulares de tontura posicional apresentaram diferença significativa para o aspecto físico do DHI. Já os pacientes com queixas vestibulares de desequilíbrio apresentaram diferença significativa para os aspectos funcional e emocional. A vectoeletronistagmografia computadorizada esteve alterada em 47 pacientes (83,9%), indicando comprometimento vestibular periférico em todos os casos. No exame pós-calórico, a hiperreflexia foi a alteração mais prevalente e o diagnóstico mais frequente foi o de síndrome Vestibular Periférica Deficitária à Esquerda. Com relação à qualidade de vida, o aspecto funcional apresentou o maior escore médio entre os três aspectos avaliados, e observou-se diferença significativa entre os aspectos funcional e o emocional. CONCLUSÃO: Idosos com tontura apresentam, em sua maioria, alterações na audiometria e na vectoeletronistagmografia, indicando disfunção do sistema cócleo-vestibular; apresentam também qualidade de vida comprometida.

PURPOSE: To verify the otoneurologic diagnosis of elderly individuals with dizziness and the interference of this symptom in their quality of life. METHODS: Cross-sectional study, conducted with 56 elderly individuals with dizziness. Subjects' mean age was 71.2 years, and they were submitted to otoneurologic assessment, which involved: pure-tone, speech and impedance audiometry, balance assessment, testing for positional and positioning vertigo and nystagmus, and vectoelectronystagmography. A specific questionnaire for dizziness was used to assess the quality of life, the Dizziness Handicap Inventory (DHI), which verifies the handicap effects provoked by this symptom. RESULTS: Rotatory dizziness was reported by 29 patients (51.8%), 75% presented some hearing complaint, and 69.6% had altered results in audiometry. Patients with vestibular complaints of positional dizziness presented significant difference for the physical aspect of the DHI. Patients with vestibular complaints of imbalance showed significant difference for the functional and emotional aspects. The computerized vectoelectronystagmography was altered in 47 patients (83.9%), indicating peripheral vestibular disorder in all cases. In the post-caloric assessment, hyperreflexia was the most prevalent alteration, and the most frequent diagnosis was Deficient Peripheral Vestibular Syndrome to the Left. Regarding quality of life, the functional aspect had the highest average score among the three aspects evaluated, and there was a significant difference between the functional and emotional aspects. CONCLUSION: Most elderly patients with dizziness present alterations in audiometry and vectoelectronystagmography, which indicate a disorder in the vestibulocochlear system; they also present impaired quality of life.

Padrões de interação entre aves frugívoras e espécies arbóreas, com suas variações sazonais, foram determinados em uma mata de Restinga. Foram feitas observações visuais e capturas da avifauna, ao longo de um ano, estimando-se a conectância do sistema mutualístico e o índice de importância das espécies. Também foi elaborada a rede de interações do sistema e feita a análise da variação das interações entre as estações do ano. Foram registradas 18 espécies animais e 11 vegetais interagindo, com uma conectância de 25,3%. Turdus amaurochalinus e T. rufiventris apresentaram maior número de visitas, interagiram com a maioria das espécies arbóreas e tiveram o maior índice de importância, sendo caracterizadas como as principais dispersoras em potencial. Ocotea pulchella e Myrsine spp. foram registradas com os maiores números de eventos de consumo de frutos pelas aves. No entanto, Ficus organesis interagiu com mais espécies dispersoras, além de ter a maior importância na dieta das aves. Observaram-se variações na quantidade de eventos de frugivoria ao longo do ano, com um aumento significativo na primavera. Além disso, verificou-se um aumento nas espécies frugívoras durante a primavera e verão, bem como no número de espécies arbóreas visitadas nessas estações.

Interaction patterns between frugivorous birds and tree species, with seasonal variations, were determined in a restinga forest. Visual observations and bird captures were performed throughout a year, estimating the connectance of the mutualistic system and the importance index of species. The interaction network of the system was also worked out and seasonal variation in these interactions was analyzed. Eighteen animal species and 11 tree species were recorded as interacting, with a connectance of 25.3%. Turdus amaurochalinus and T. rufiventris had the highest number of visits, interacted with most tree species and had the highest importance index, being characterized as the main potential dispersers. Ocotea pulchella and Myrsine spp. were recorded with the highest numbers of fruit consumption events by the birds. Ficus organensis, however, interacted with more disperser species, besides being most important for the birds' diet. Variations in the number of frugivory events throughout the year were observed, with a significant increase in spring. Moreover, an increase in frugivorous species was verified during spring and summer, as well as in the number of tree species visited during these seasons.

Para ampliar o conhecimento sobre as matas de Restinga arenosa no Rio Grande do Sul, foi realizado o estudo florístico e fitossociológico do componente arbóreo de cinco capões de Restinga do Parque Estadual de Itapuã. Neste estudo comparativo foi usado o método de parcelas, incluindo todos os indivíduos com DAP mínimo de 5 cm e totalizando uma área de 1,02 ha. A composição florística resultou em uma riqueza total de 31 espécies, 26 gêneros e 20 famílias, considerando os cinco capões juntos. A densidade total arbórea nos capões teve uma média de 1.023 ind/ha. A família com a maior riqueza de espécies foi Myrtaceae e, entre as espécies com maior valor de importância, foram encontradas Sebastiania serrata (Baill. ex Müll. Arg.) Müll. Arg. e Ficus organensis Miq. A diversidade específica foi baixa, variando de 1,08 a 2,38 nats.ind-1. Os resultados obtidos indicam a existência de diferenças na composição e na estrutura arbórea dos capões que podem ser oriundas de diferentes estágios sucessionais e da distância de áreas fontes de sementes.

To improve the knowledge about sandy Restinga forests in Rio Grande do Sul, the floristic and phytosociological study of the tree component of five Restinga woods from Parque Estadual de Itapuã was accomplished. In this comparative study, the plot method was used, including all individuals with minimum DBH of 5 cm and totaling an area of 1,02 ha. The floristic composition resulted in a total richness of 31 species, 26 genera and 20 families, considering the five woods together. The total tree density in the woods had a media of 1,023 ind/ha. The richest family was Myrtaceae and, among the most important species, Sebastiania serrata (Baill. ex Müll. Arg.) Müll. Arg. and Ficus organensis Miq. were found. Species diversity was low, varying from 1,08 to 2,38 nats.ind-1. The results obtained point to the existence of differences in the forests tree composition and structure that may outcome from different sucessional stages and from the seed source area distance.
