ABSTRACT Objective: To report outcomes from the largest multicenter series of penile cancer patients undergoing video endoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy (VEIL). Materials and Methods: Retrospective multicenter analysis. Authors of 21 centers from the Penile Cancer Collaborative Coalition-Latin America (PeC-LA) were included. All centers performed the procedure following the same previously described standardized technique. Inclusion criteria included penile cancer patients with no palpable lymph nodes and intermediate/high-risk disease and those with non-fixed palpable lymph nodes less than 4 cm in diameter. Categorical variables are shown as percentages and frequencies whereas continuous variables as mean and range. Results: From 2006 to 2020, 210 VEIL procedures were performed in 105 patients. Mean age was 58 (45-68) years old. Mean operative time was 90 minutes (60-120). Mean lymph node yield was 10 nodes (6-16). Complication rate was 15.7%, including severe complications in 1.9% of procedures. Lymphatic and skin complications were noted in 8.6 and 4.8% of patients, respectively. Histopathological analysis revealed lymph node involvement in 26.7% of patients with non-palpable nodes. Inguinal recurrence was observed in 2.8% of patients. 10y- overall survival was 74.2% and 10-y cancer specific survival was 84.8%. CSS for pN0, pN1, pN2 and pN3 were 100%, 82.4%, 72.7% and 9.1%, respectively. Conclusion: VEIL seems to offer appropriate long term oncological control with minimal morbidity. In the absence of non-invasive stratification measures such as dynamic sentinel node biopsy, VEIL emerged as the alternative for the management of non-bulky lymph nodes in penile cancer.

Abstract Objective: To evaluate acute and chronic changes seen on angiographic and histopathological studies of porcine rete mirabile, comparing those treated with the Menox liquid embolic system (LES) and those treated with the Onyx LES. Materials and Methods: Five pigs, each weighing approximately 35 kg, were submitted to rete mirabile embolization under general anesthesia and fluoroscopic guidance, with the Menox LES or Onyx LES. Four animals were treated with the Menox LES and underwent cerebral angiography, followed by euthanasia, at 1, 30, 60, and 90 days after embolization. One animal was treated with the Onyx LES underwent the same procedures at 30 days after embolization. In a subsequent histopathological analysis, we compared the Menox LES and Onyx LES in terms of the acute and chronic changes observed. Results: We observed no significant changes in blood pressure, heart rate, or electrocardiographic parameters that could be attributed to the super-selective infusion of dimethyl sulfoxide or the Menox embolic agent. Fluoroscopy showed adequate material opacity, appropriate progression to the center of the rete mirabile and complete unilateral embolization. Microcatheters were uneventfully detached from the embolized nidus. We observed mild to moderate intravascular and extravascular inflammatory responses, without histological evidence of necrotizing arteritis. There were no adverse neurovascular events. Conclusion: The Menox LES appears to be safe and effective, as well as being apparently equivalent to the Onyx LES in terms of the postprocedure angiographic and histopathological findings.

Resumo Objetivo: Avaliar as alterações angiográficas e histopatológicas agudas e crônicas em rete mirabile suína tratadas com o Menox liquid embolic system (LES) e comparar essas alterações com a embolização com Onyx LES. Materiais e Métodos: A embolização da rete mirabile com Menox LES e Onyx LES foi realizada em cinco suínos pesando cerca de 35 kg sob anestesia geral e orientação fluoroscópica. Quatro animais tratados com Menox LES foram submetidos a angiografia cerebral seguida de eutanásia após 1, 30, 60 e 90 dias e um animal tratado com Onix LES foi submetido ao mesmo procedimento após 30 dias. A análise histopatológica subsequente para alterações agudas e crônicas avaliou o desempenho do Menox LES comparado ao Onyx LES. Resultados: Não foram observadas alterações significativas atribuíveis à infusão superseletiva de dimetilsulfóxido ou Menox nos parâmetros de pressão arterial, frequência cardíaca ou eletrocardiograma. A fluoroscopia mostrou opacidade adequada do material, progressão adequada para o centro da rete mirabile e embolização unilateral completa. Os microcateteres foram retirados do nidus embolizado sem complicações. Observou-se resposta inflamatória intravascular e extravascular leve a moderada, sem indício histológico de arterite necrosante. Nenhum dos casos apresentou eventos neurovasculares adversos. Conclusão: A injeção de Menox LES mostrou-se segura e eficaz, além de ser equivalente ao Onyx LES em relação aos achados angiográficos e histopatológicos pós-procedimento.

RESUMO O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito da inclusão de polpa cítrica na silagem de milho sobre a composição química e parâmetros de fermentação. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o inteiramente casualizado, com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos foram: Silagem de milho sem polpa cítrica (0%); silagem de milho com 10% 39 de polpa cítrica; silagem de milho com 20% de polpa cítrica; silagem de milho com 30% de polpa cítrica; silagem de milho com 40% de polpa cítrica e silagem de milho com 50% de polpa cítrica. O pH diminuiu linearmente com à inclusão de polpa cítrica, gerando valores distantes do considerado adequado (3,8 a 4,2). Por outro lado, é possível inferior que nem todos os parâmetros fermentativos foram comprometidos, uma vez que, com a inclusão de 33% de polpa cítrica, é possível estimar 30,82 g/kg total N. Com a utilização 45 de 49% de polpa cítrica, é possível obter 95,16 g/kg de proteína bruta. De 21% a 22% de polpa cítrica, foi obtido 549,89 g/kg de fibra em detergente neutro e 678,11 g/kg de nutrientes digestíveis totais. A inclusão de até 30% de polpa cítrica melhorará significativamente a composição química da silagem de milho, devido à redução nos valores de carboidrato estrutural e aumentos nos nutrientes digestíveis totais e proteína.

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of including citrus pulp in maize silage on chemical composition and fermentation parameters. The experimental design was fully randomized with four replicates. Maize silage consisting of 0–50% citrus pulp was produced and analyzed. The pH linearly decreased with the increased inclusion of citrus pulp (3.49 at 50% citrus pulp), which is far below what is considered adequate (3.8–4.2). However, not all fermentation parameters were compromised. At 33% citrus pulp, we estimated 30.82 g/kg total nitrogen. At 49% citrus pulp, we estimated 95.16 g/kg of crude protein. At 21% and 22% citrus pulp, we estimated 549.89 g/kg of neutral detergent fiber and 678.11 g/kg of total digestible nutrients, respectively. Therefore, we conclude that the inclusion of up to 30% citrus pulp improves the complete chemical composition of maize silage owing to the reduction in structural carbohydrate values and increases in total digestible nutrient and protein content.

Abstract Several phytogeographic regions (Cerrado, Pantanal, Atlantic Forest, Gran Chaco, and Chiquitano Dry Forests) converge in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, and influence regional biodiversity. Despite a list of birds in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul being published by Nunes et al. (2017), it is necessary to update and critically review avifauna records. In this study, we gathered the results of several records obtained from species lists and online data platforms of the 336 sites in this state over the last decades and grouped them into Main (Primary and Secondary) and Tertiary Lists. The avifauna of Mato Grosso do Sul is composed of 678 species, of which 643 (95%) have records proving their occurrence (Primary List), whereas 34 still lack documentation (Secondary List). The number of related species for Mato Grosso do Sul represents 34% of the Brazilian avifauna. Some species stand out for their unique occurrence in Mato Grosso do Sul, such as Melanerpes cactorum, Celeus lugubris, Phaethornis subochraceus, and Cantorchilus guarayanus, reflecting the influence of different phytogeographic regions of the Chaco and Chiquitano Dry Forests. Migrants represent 20% of the bird community occurring in the state, of which 93 species correspond to migrants from various regions of South America (south and west) and 40 to boreal migrants. Thirty-three species perform nomadic movements across the Pantanal Plain and other regions of the state. Thirty-one species are included in some conservation-threatened categories of global and/or national endangered species lists. Other 30 species are included in the near-threatened category at the global level and 23 at the national level. In addition, species typical of dry forests (in Serra da Bodoquena and Maciço do Urucum) and those from the Atlantic Forest in the south of the state deserve attention due to their restricted distribution and the high anthropogenic pressure on their habitat.

ABSTRACT Parasitoids of the genus Trichogramma are promising for the biological control of insect pests in several crops, including cassava, which is severely attacked by Erinnyis ello L., 1758 (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae). Evaluating the biological aspects of these parasitoids to understand their dynamics is an important step towards the implementation of this control strategy in the field. Thus, our objective was to evaluate the biology of Trichogramma manicobai Brun, Moraes & Soares, 1984, and T. marandobai Brun, Moraes & Soares, 1986 in E. ello eggs. The parasitoids were obtained by collecting E. ello eggs from a commercial production of cassava, and the host’s eggs were obtained from laboratory and greenhouse rearings. The average duration of a generation (T), net reproduction rate (R0), intrinsic rate of increase (rm), and the finite rate of increase (λ) were estimated, and from these, the fertility life table was calculated. The results indicated that T. marandobai has both higher net reproduction rate and a higher intrinsic rate of increase as well as requires less time to double its population than T. manicobai. Thus, T. marandobai has potential for natural and conservative biological control of E. ello. In addition, its potential in applied biological control should be evaluated through studies on the viability of its mass rearing in alternative hosts and its dispersion behavior in the field.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to use a simulated vehicle to asses quantitatively the head and neck injuries of the occupants, in a frontal car crash, when the driver has only one hand on the steering wheel, such as while using a cell phone when driving. First, we conducted a survey of NHTSA reports on real laboratory tests of frontal collisions involving sedans. The effects of these collisions on the neck of a Hybrid III 50th percentile male crash test dummy were measured in terms of average head acceleration and force along the X, Z, and Y-axes. These acceleration, force and torque values obtained from the NHTSA database were used to validate the simulated model. The results obtained were compared with case E, the standard dummy position used in frontal collision tests. The results obtained in the simulation of the four cases of driving with only one hand demonstrate a probability of more than 67% that the driver will sustain AIS+2 injuries during a frontal crash. In all the cases, the skull fracture percentage was the most representative, occurring between 89 and 94% of cases where the driver had only one hand on the steering wheel.

Resumo Objetivo comparar o estresse ocupacional em trabalhadores de equipes saúde da família certificadas e não certificadas com selo de qualidade assistencial pela Tutoria da Atenção Primária à Saúde. Métodos estudo transversal realizado com 178 trabalhadores das equipes da Estratégia Saúde da Família de dois municípios do Paraná. Os dados foram coletados por um questionário de caracterização e a Job Stress Scale, e analisados descritiva e inferencialmente por meio de regressão logística bruta e ajustada. Resultados os trabalhadores vinculados às equipes certificadas apresentaram chances significativamente maiores de alta demanda psicológica (p<0,001; ORaj: 4,164) e baixo apoio social (p=0,048; ORaj: 1,896) em relação aos das não certificadas. O controle sobre o trabalho não apresentou diferença significativa (p=0,891; ORaj: 1,047). Os participantes de equipes certificadas apresentaram maior chance de job strain (p<0,001; ORaj: 4,956) e entre aqueles de equipes não certificadas predominou o trabalho passivo (p<0,001; ORaj: 0,293). Conclusão os trabalhadores de equipes de saúde com certificação de qualidade na prestação de serviços apresentaram maiores chances de estresse ocupacional em relação aqueles vinculados a equipes não certificadas. Implicações para a prática torna-se premente que os modelos gerenciais de qualidade da assistência considerem a saúde dos trabalhadores envolvidos.

Abstract Objective to compare occupational stress in professionals from family health teams certified and non-certified with assistance quality seal by the Primary Health Care Mentoring. Method a cross-sectional study carried out with 178 workers from the Family Health Strategy teams of two municipalities in Paraná. The data were collected through a characterization questionnaire and the Job Stress Scale, and analyzed descriptively and inferentially by means of crude and adjusted logistic regression. Results professionals linked to certified teams had significantly greater chances of high psychological demand (p<0.001; OR: 3.781) and low social support (p=0.030; OR: 1.896) in relation to those from non-certified teams. Control over work showed no significant difference (p=0.891; ORadj: 1.047). Participants from the certified teams had a higher chance of job strain (p<0.001; ORadj: 4.956) and among those from the non-certified teams, passive work predominated (p<0.001; ORadj: 0.293). Conclusion Professionals from teams with quality certification in the provision of services had a greater chance of occupational stress in relation to those linked to non-certified teams. Implications for the practice it is imperative that the management models of quality of care consider the health of the workers involved.

Resumen Objetivo comparar el estrés laboral en trabajadores de los equipos de salud familiar certificados y no certificados con sello de calidad en la atención de la Mentoría de Atención Primaria. Métodos estudio transversal con 178 trabajadores de los equipos del plan Estrategia Salud de la Familia de dos municipios de Paraná. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de un cuestionario de caracterización y de la Job Stress Scale, por medio de análisis descriptivo e inferencial, mediante regresión logística bruta y ajustada. Resultados los trabajadores vinculados a equipos certificados presentaron probabilidades significativamente mayores de alta demanda psicológica (p<0,001; OR: 3,781) y bajo apoyo social (p=0,030; OR: 1,896) en relación a los de equipos no certificados. El control sobre el trabajo no mostró diferencia significativa (p=0,891; ORaj: 1,047). Los participantes de equipos certificadas obtuvieron una mayor probabilidad de padecer tensión laboral (p<0,001; ORaj: 4,956) y entre los de equipos no certificadas predominó el trabajo pasivo (p<0,001; ORaj: 0,293). Conclusión los trabajadores de equipos de salud con certificación de calidad en la prestación de servicios presentaban mayor probabilidad de estrés ocupacional en relación a los vinculados a equipos no certificados. Implicaciones para la práctica es imperativo que los modelos de gestión de la calidad de la atención consideren la salud de los trabajadores involucrados.

RESUMO O presente estudo verificou a confiabilidade do sistema baseado em câmeras de alta velocidade (CAV-Kinovea) na avaliação da resistência de força explosiva de membros inferiores em atletas. Onze atletas masculinos de voleibol (21.8 ± 2.9 anos de idade; 186.3 ± 6.2 cm and 82.3 ± 11.0 kg) participaram do teste de saltos verticais de contexto intermitente em dois dias. O teste foi filmado e posteriormente analisado no software Kinovea 0.8.15 para obter as variáveis de potência pico e média. Para determinar a confiabilidade, utilizou-se o coeficiente de correlação intraclasse, o erro típico de medidas e os gráficos de Bland-Altman. O método apresentou valores satisfatórios para as correlações inter e intra-classe (˃0,88). Os valores do erro típico de medida apresentados na análise interavaliadores foram 0,95 W.kg-1 e 0,59 W.kg-1 para potência pico e média, respectivamente. Nas análises intra-avaliação, os valores do erro típico de medida foram 7,02 W.kg-1 e 5,66 W.kg-1 (teste-reteste) e 1,59 W.kg-1 e 0,24 W.kg-1 (duplicados de vídeos ) para potência pico e média, respectivamente. O sistema CAV-Kinovea é confiável para avaliar as variáveis da resistência de força explosiva em atletas.

ABSTRACT The present study verified the reliability of the high-speed camera-based system (HSC-Kinovea) in the lower-limb explosive strength endurance assessment in athletes. Eleven male volleyball players (21.8 ± 2.9 years; 186.3 ± 6.2 cm and 82.3 ± 11.0 kg) participated in the intermittent vertical jumping test in two days. The test was filmed and later analyzed using Kinovea 0.8.15 software to obtain the mean and peak power variables. Regarding reliability, the intra-class correlation coefficient, the typical error of measurements, and Bland-Altman plots were used. The method presented satisfactory values for inter and intra-class correlations (˃ 0.88). The typical values error of measurement presented in the inter-rater analysis was 0.95 W.kg-1 and 0.59 W.kg-1 for the peak and the mean power, respectively. In the intra-assessment analyses, the typical measurement error values were 7.02 W.kg-1 and 5.66 W.kg-1 (test-retest) and 1.59 W.kg-1 and 0.24 W.kg-1 (duplicates videos) for peak and average power, respectively. The HSC-Kinovea system is reliable for assessing the variables of the explosive strength endurance in athletes.

Abstract Cupuassu is a fruitful species from the Amazon basin with great economical potential, due to the multiple uses of its pulp and seeds in the food and cosmetic industries. This fruit generates large amounts of solid waste, which, despite of its high content of bioactive compounds, is discarded in the environment. Therefore, with the aim of reusing these wastes and adding economic value, we investigated the nutritional potential of the seed by-product resulting from industrial cupuassu oil extraction. The by-product was submitted to green extraction, and its contents of bioactive compounds were quantified by HPLC. The extract had a total polyphenol content (16.9 ± 1.8 mg/gDM) and an antioxidant activity, ABTS + (151.0 ± 5.5 mg/100 g) and DPPH. (85.4 ± 1.7 mmol/L). HPLC analysis of the extract identified epicatechin and glycosylated quercetin as the major flavonoids. This by-product shows great potential for being used as a source of the ingredients of high nutritional value, especially dietary fiber and polyphenols.

Resumen Objetivo. Estudiar el síndrome de Burnout entre estudiantes de enfermería. Métodos. Estudio de método mixto secuencial explicativo realizado en una universidad pública de Brasil. De los 119 alumnos de enfermería, 114 consentieron en participar y respondieron un cuestionario compuesto por variables sociodemográficas, académicas y el Maslach Burnout Inventory TM - Student Survey. Los participantes de la fase cuantitativa con el indicador de riesgo de burnout se entrevistaron individualmente (n=21) para proporcionar una comprensión profunda de las experiencias de los estudiantes acerca de las dimensiones del síndrome, cuyos testimonios se analizaron con la técnica de Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo. Resultados. La prevalencia de sindrome de burnout fue de 10.5% entre los investigados. Cuanto más avanzado el año de estudio del alumno, eran mayores los puntajes de agotamiento (p=0.003), despersonalización (p<0.001) y baja eficacia académica (p=0.012). Los estudiantes con mayor carga horaria de asignaturas también presentaron mayores puntuaciones de agotamiento (p=0.001), despersonalización (p<0.001) e (in)eficacia académica (p=0.042). La insatisfacción con el curso se relacionó con un mayor agotamiento (p=0.049) y despersonalización (p=0.001). En los discursos colectivos se evidenciaron las exigencias cotidianas del curso, consideradas como intensas, generadoras de sobrecarga y agotamiento, que producían síntomas de enfermedad física y mental. Por lo tanto, como una actitud defensiva, hubo distanciamiento del estudiante de las actividades del curso que culminó en sentimientos de incompetencia y frustración. Conclusión. La aparición de las dimensiones del síndrome de burnout entre los estudiantes de enfermería estuvo relacionada con las actividades de la vida diaria académica. Es urgente establecer acciones de promoción y prevención en salud para estos individuos en el contexto de la universidad.

Abstract Objective. Investigate the burnout syndrome among undergraduate students in nursing. Methods. Explanatory sequential mixed method study conducted at a public university in Brazil. Of the 119 nursing students, 114 consented to participate and answered a questionnaire composed of sociodemographic, academic variables, and the Maslach Burnout Inventory - Student Survey, which were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The participants of the quantitative phase with the indicative / risk of burnout were interviewed individually (n=21) to provide an in-depth understanding of the students' experiences regarding the dimensions of the syndrome, whose statements were analyzed by the Collective Subject Discourse. Results. The prevalence of burnout syndrome was 10.5% among the surveyed. The more advanced the school year, the higher were the exhaustion (p=0.003), depersonalization (p<0.001) and low academic effectiveness (p=0.012) scores. Students with a higher workload of assignments also had higher scores of exhaustion (p=0.001), depersonalization (p<0.001) and academic (in)effectiveness (p=0.042). Dissatisfaction with the course was related to higher exhaustion (p=0.049) and depersonalization (p=0.001). The collective speeches showed the daily demands of the course, considered as intense, producing overload and exhaustion, which produced symptoms of physical and mental illness. Thus, there was the student's distancing from the course activities, as a defensive attitude, which culminated in feelings of incompetence and frustration. Conclusion. The occurrence of burnout syndrome dimensions among nursing students was related to the activities of academic daily life. It is urgent to invest in health promotion and prevention actions of these individuals in the university context.

Quanto mais avançado o ano letivo maiores foram os escores de exaustão (p=0.003), despersonalização (p<0.001) e baixa eficácia acadêmica (p=0.012). Os estudantes com maior carga horária de disciplinas/matérias também apresentaram maiores pontuações de exaustão (p=0.001), despersonalização (p<0.001) e (in)eficácia acadêmica (p=0.042). A insatisfação com o curso foi relacionada a maior exaustão (p=0.049) e despersonalização (p=0.001). Nos discursos coletivos evidenciaram-se as exigências cotidianas do curso, tidas como intensas, produtoras de sobrecarga e exaustão, que produziam sintomas de adoecimento físico e mental. Assim, houve o distanciamento do estudante das atividades do curso, como uma atitude defensiva, que culminou em sentimentos de incompetência e frustração. Conclusão. A ocorrência das dimensões da síndrome de burnout entre os estudantes de enfermagem esteve relacionada às atividades do cotidiano acadêmico. Torna-se premente investir em ações de promoção e prevenção da saúde desses indivíduos no contexto da universidade.

Abstract We present postmortem evidence of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) in a patient with severe COVID-19. Autopsies of COVID-19 confirmed cases were performed. The patient died despite antimicrobials, mechanical ventilation, and vasopressor support. Histopathology and peripheral blood galactomannan antigen testing confirmed IPA. Aspergillus penicillioides infection was confirmed by nucleotide sequencing and BLAST analysis. Further reports are needed to assess the occurrence and frequency of IPA in SARS-CoV-2 infections, and how they interact clinically.

RESUMO O Consenso Brasileiro de Nutrição no Transplante de Células Tronco Hematopoiéticas: doença do enxerto contra o hospedeiro foi aprovado pela Sociedade Brasileira de Transplante de Medula Óssea, com a participação de 26 centros brasileiros de transplante de células-tronco hematopoiéticas. O Consenso descreve as principais condutas nutricionais em casos de doença do enxerto contra o hospedeiro, a principal complicação do transplante de células-tronco hematopoiéticas.

ABSTRACT The Brazilian Consensus on Nutrition in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: Graft- versus -host disease was approved by Sociedade Brasileira de Transplante de Medula Óssea , with the participation of 26 Brazilian hematopoietic stem cell transplantation centers. It describes the main nutritional protocols in cases of Graft- versus -host disease, the main complication of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Resumen: El presente estudio tiene por objeto conocer en qué medida la procrastinación académica y el bienestar subjetivo están relacionados con la satisfacción con la posgraduación. Los participantes del estudio fueron 263 estudiantes de posgrado, con edad media de 29 años (DE = 6.48), siendo la mayoría del sexo masculino (67.3%), soltera (60.1%) y en el máster (58%), los cuales respondieron a la Escala de Procrastinación Académica, Escala de Satisfacción con el Programa de Postgrado, Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida, Escala de Afectos Positivos y. Negativos y preguntas demográficas. Los resultados indicaron que la procrastinación académica (-) y el bienestar subjetivo (+) predijeron la satisfacción con el programa de postgrado. Este modelo probado presentó indicadores de ajuste adecuados (χ² / gl = 3.18, GFI = 0.98, AGFI = 0.93, CFI = 0.97, RMSEA = 0.091 y Pclose = 0.09). Se concluye que la procrastinación académica y el bienestar subjetivo son variables importantes para comprender la satisfacción con el programa de postgrado, favoreciendo intervenciones que proporcionen una mejor adaptación al contexto de postgrado

Abstract: The present study aimed to know the extent to which academic procrastination and subjective well-being are related to satisfaction with post-graduation. Participants were 263 postgraduate students, with a mean age of 29 years (SD = 6.48), with the majority of males (67.3%), single (60.1%) and the master (58%), who responded to the Academic Procrastination Scale, Scale of Satisfaction with the Postgraduate Program, Life Satisfaction Scale, Positive and Negative Affect Schedule and demographic questions. The results indicated that academic procrastination (-) and subjective well-being (+) predicted satisfaction with post-graduation. This tested model showed adequate fit indicators (χ²/g. l = 3.18, GFI = 0.98, CFI = 0.97, RMSEA = 0.048 and Pclose = 0.09). It may be concluded that academic procrastination and subjective well-being are important variables to understand the satisfaction with the postgraduate, favoring interventions that provide better adaptation to the postgraduate context.show the validity of the MBPQS to assess the sensitivity of caregivers of children with ASD

Resumo: O presente estudo objetivou conhecer em que medida a procrastinação acadêmica e o bem-estar subjetivo estão relacionadas com satisfação com a pós-graduação. Participaram 263 pós-graduandos, com idade média de 29 anos (DP = 6.48), sendo a maioria do sexo masculino (67.3%), solteira (60.1%) e no mestrado (58%), os quais responderam a Escala de Procrastinação Acadêmica, Escala de Satisfação com o Programa de Pós-Graduação, Escala de Satisfação com a Vida, Escala de Afetos Positivos e Negativos e perguntas demográficas. Os resultados indicaram que a procrastinação acadêmica se correlacionou negativamente com o bem-estar subjetivo e positivamente com a satisfação com a pós-graduação, sendo desta última preditor. Tal modelo testado apresentou indicadores de ajuste adequados (χ² (4) =12.73, χ²/gl = 3.18, GFI = 0.98, AGFI = 0.93, CFI = 0.97, RMSEA= 0.091 (IC90%=0.038-0.150) e Pclose = 0.09). Conclui-se que a procrastinação acadêmica e bem-estar subjetivo são variáveis importantes para compreender a satisfação com a pós-graduação, favorecendo intervenções que proporcionem melhor adaptação ao contexto de pós-graduação

Resumo Introdução O modelo tradicional de formação em saúde hegemônico e tecnicista limita as respostas às demandas atuais do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Para superar essas fragilidades, a integração ensino-serviço-comunidade (IESC) e as metodologias ativas (MAs) se apresentam como estratégias de reorientação da formação profissional. Objetivo Este estudo analisou as percepções de estudantes de Odontologia da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) acerca das práticas pedagógicas à luz das MAs e da IESC no e para o SUS. Método Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa, realizada entre 2012 e 2013, com 73 estudantes que estavam matriculados e cursando a disciplina de Estágio Obrigatório de Odontologia em Saúde Coletiva II (EOOSC II). O convite para participar da pesquisa foi feito após o encerramento da disciplina, quando as notas já haviam sido lançadas. Utilizou-se de um roteiro contendo questões norteadoras, que versavam sobre a opinião dos estudantes acerca: (1) da disciplina; (2) das potencialidades e fragilidades da metodologia de ensino-aprendizagem utilizada e das unidades de saúde frequentadas; e (3) da intenção de, após a formatura, trabalhar no SUS/Estratégia Saúde da Família. Após a coleta, os dados foram transcritos, e, na sequência, foi processado o discurso do sujeito coletivo (DSC). Resultados A IESC, articulada com as MAs, propiciou aos estudantes conectar teoria e prática, integrada à realidade do SUS. Conclusão Os participantes da pesquisa relataram a relevância da educação permanente em saúde e as dificuldades/potencialidades da utilização de MAs integradas à IESC na formação profissional, apontando o SUS como real possibilidade de trabalho ao se formarem.

Abstract Background The traditional model of hegemonic and technicist health training limits the answers to the current demands of the Unified Health System (USH). To overcome these weaknesses, Teaching-Service-Community Integration (TSCI) and Active Methodologies (AM) are presented as strategies for reorienting vocational training. Objective This study analyzed the perceptions of dentistry students of Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), related to pedagogical practices in light of AM and TSCI for and in the USH. Method It was a qualitative research, which was carried out between 2012 and 2013, with 73 students, who were enrolled and attending the Compulsory Internship in Collective Health Dentistry II (CICHD II). The invitation was made after the course end, when the grades had already been released. A script was used containing guiding questions, which dealt with students’ opinions about: (1) the course; (2) the potentialities and weaknesses of the teaching-learning methodology used and the Health Units attended; And (3) the intention to, after graduation, work in the USH /Family Health Strategy. After the data collection, they were transcribed and, subsequently, the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD) was processed. Results The TSCI, which was articulated to the AM, allowed students to connect theory and practice, integrated to the realities of USH. Conclusion They noted the relevance of the permanent education in health and the difficulties/potentialities of using active methodologies integrated to the TSCI in the professional formation, pointing the UHS as a real possibility of work when they will be graduate.

RESUMO O artigo analisa uma das políticas educacionais para a diversidade, a de Educação Escolar Indígena. O estudo foca em problemas na sua efetivação, permitindo-nos refletir sobre seu desenvolvimento no Acre. Aponta os embates na sua definição, destacando o papel dos agentes envolvidos desde a formulação até a execução nos contextos formais. Toma como base metodológica o Ciclo de Políticas. Das questões resultantes destacamos o fato das propostas e práticas de EEI no Acre terem transformado os direitos educativos indígenas em obrigações de Estado, mas perdendo seu caráter de produção coletiva e autônoma.

ABSTRACT The article analyzes one of the educational policies for diversity, that of Indigenous School Education. The study focuses on problems in its implementation, allowing us to reflect on its development in the state of Acre. It points out the conflicts in its definition, highlighting the role of the agents involved from the formulation to the execution in the formal contexts. It takes as a methodological basis the Policies Cycle. From the resulting issues we highlight the fact that the proposals and practices of ISE (Indigenous School Education in Acre have transformed indigenous educational rights into state obligations, but losing their character of collective and autonomous production.
