A ocorrência de fungos micorrízicos arbusculares (FMAs) foi investigada em áreas cultivadas com leucena (Leucaena leucocephala L.) e sabiá (Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia Benth), no Estado de Pernambuco. Amostras de solo foram coletadas em cinco estações experimentais da Empresa Pernambucana de Pesquisa Agropecuária (IPA), nas cidades de Arcoverde, com plantio de leucena (AL) e sabiá (AS); Caruaru, com plantio de leucena (CL); e Itambé (IS), São Bento do Una (SBS) e Serra Talhada (STS), com plantio de sabiá. O número de esporos variou de 69 (STS) a 437/50 g de solo (CL) e a colonização micorrízica, de 11 (CL) a 64% (IS). Nas áreas com plantio de leucena, a colonização foi inferior a 15%, enquanto naquelas com cultivo de sábia houve variação de 36 a 64%. Foram observadas 24 espécies de FMAs, pertencentes aos gêneros: Acaulospora (6), Archaeospora (1), Entrophospora (1), Gigaspora (3), Glomus (6), Paraglomus (1) e Scutellospora (6). As áreas CL e STS foram as que apresentaram maior número de espécies (14). Acaulospora scrobiculata, Archaeospora leptoticha e Glomus etunicatum foram encontradas em todas as áreas.

The occurrence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in plantations of Leucaena leucocephala L. (leucaena) and Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia Benth (sabia) in the State of Pernambuco was investigated. Soil samples were collected in five research centers of the Agricultural Research Institute of Pernambuco (IPA), in the cities of Arcoverde - plantation of leucaena (AL) and sabiá (AS); Caruaru (CL) - leucaena plantation; Itambé (IS), São Bento do Una (SBS) and Serra Talhada (STS) - plantation of sabiá. Mycorrhizal spores were extracted from soil, with the highest number (437/50g of soil) being found in the CL region and the lowest (69/50g of soil) in the STS region. The mycorrhizal colonization ranged from 11% (CL) to 64% (IS). The colonization was inferior to 15% in areas of leucaena plantation, however, in areas of sabiá, it ranged from 36% to 64%. Twenty-four AMF species were identified in the genus: Acaulospora (6), Archaeospora (1), Entrophospora (1), Gigaspora (3), Glomus (6), Paraglomus (1) and Scutellospora (6). The highest species number was recorded in the CL and STS regions (14). Acaulospora scrobiculata, Archaeospora leptoticha and Glomus etunicatum were found in all regions.

A recursive subtractive renormalization of the scattering equation is applied to the nucleon-nucleon ¹S0 channel with one-pion-exchange plus derivative contact interactions. This method can be easily extended to any derivative order of the singular interaction. Although we limit this work to the singlet partial wave, the method can be used as well in higher waves and coupled channels. The ¹S0 renormalization parameters are fitted to the data.

Estrias e sulcos encontrados sobre três camadas decimétricas, estratigraficamente superpostas, de tilito de alojamento neopaleozóico do Subgrupo Itararé, na porção norte da Bacia do Paraná, foram formados por aração de clastos e, possivelmente, por protuberâncias de gelo, na base da geleira. Feições associadas indicam que a reologia do sedimento variou de rígido, durante o alojamento, a inconsolidado e deformável durante a aração. A baixa drenagem da água de degelo na interface geleira-substrato pode ter contribuído para reduzir a resistência do sedimento à deformação. A sucessão acima foi gerada provavelmente durante uma única fase glacial ou avanço de geleira sobre corpo de água marinho ou lacustre. Mudanças na dinâmica da geleira envolvendo fluxos lento e rápido corresponderam, respectivamente, a alternâncias entre deposição e erosão. O modelo proposto é análogo ao de complexos de till de alojamento do Pleistoceno do hemisfério do norte. O recuo da geleira foi provavelmente rápido, seguido pela deposição de lama acima da superfície estriada e sulcada superior, e progradação de ciclos de arenitos deltáicos durante a época pós-glacial.

Striae and furrows found on the upper surfaces of three stratigraphically superposed decimetric beds of late Paleozoic lodgement tillite of the Itararé Subgroup in the northern Paraná Basin were engraved by ploughing of clasts and possibly also ice protuberances at the base of the glacier, on unconsolidated to partially consolidated sediment. Associated features indicate that the rheology of the bed varied from stiff during lodgement to soft and deformable during ploughing. Poor drainage of meltwater at the glacier-bed interface may have contributed to lower the strength of sediment to deformation. The deformed interval was probably generated during a single glacial phase or advance of a glacier grounding in a marine or lacustrine water body. Changes in the dynamics of the glacier involving slow and fast flow were correlated respectively with alternation of deposition and erosion. The proposed model is analogous to that of lodgement till complexes from the Pleistocene of the northern hemisphere. Retreat of the glacier was probably fast, followed by settling of muds on top of the upper striated and furrowed surface, and progradation of deltaic sands during post-glacial time.

We show that the systematic inconsistence found in the simultaneous fit of the neutron and proton magnetics moments in light-front models, disappears when one allows an asymmetry in the constituent quark masses. The difference between the constituent quarks masses is an effective way to include in the nucleon model the effect of the attractive short ranged interaction in the singlet spin channel.

Within the instanton liquid model, we study the dependence of the gauge invariant two-point quark correlator on the path used to perform the color parallel transport between two points in the Euclidean space.
