RESUMO Introdução O futebol é um esporte abrangente que integra habilidades coletivas, táticas, emocionais e racionais, dependendo não apenas de habilidades e táticas individuais, mas também um senso de luta diligentemente compartilhada, a capacidade de unidade e cooperação, e o espírito de dividir conquistas e derrotas. Objetivo Estudar as diferenças entre a cultura esportiva chinesa e a ocidental, explorando o método de treinamento do futebol baseado no trabalho em equipe. Métodos A altura, peso, tempo de experiência e idade de 6 jogadores de futebol foram sorteados e categorizados antes do experimento, uma bateria de testes físicos foi efetuada antes do experimento. Os atletas foram sujeitados à treinamento de força funcional por 6 semanas. Após a conclusão do treinamento, os dados foram aferidos novamente e catalogados para análise. Resultados O treinamento funcional de força pode efetivamente melhorar a qualidade física e o desempenho basal dos atletas, de modo a melhorar seu desempenho competitivo. Conclusão Atualmente, o treinamento de força funcional desempenha um bom papel na promoção das equipes de futebol universitário, portanto, os treinadores devem fornecer o exercício físico funcional para as equipes de futebol universitário. ABSTRACT Introduction Soccer is a comprehensive sport that integrates collective, tactical, emotional, and rational skills, depending not only on individual skills and tactics but also on a sense of diligently shared struggle, the ability for unity and cooperation, and the spirit of sharing achievements and defeats. Objective Study the differences between Chinese and Western sports culture, exploring the soccer training method based on teamwork. Methods The height, weight, experience, and age of 6 soccer players were drawn and categorized before the experiment, and a battery of physical tests was performed before the experiment. The athletes were subjected to functional strength training for six weeks. After the training was completed, the data was re-measured and cataloged for analysis. Results Functional strength training can effectively improve athletes’ physical quality and baseline performance to improve their competitive performance. Conclusion Currently, functional strength training plays a good role in promoting college soccer teams. Therefore, coaches should provide functional strength training for college soccer teams. Objetivo Estudiar las diferencias entre la cultura deportiva china y la occidental, explorando el método de entrenamiento de fútbol basado en el trabajo en equipo. Métodos Se extrajeron y clasificaron la altura, el peso, la antigüedad y la edad de 6 jugadores de fútbol antes del experimento, y se realizó una batería de pruebas físicas antes del experimento. Los atletas fueron sometidos a un entrenamiento de fuerza funcional durante 6 semanas. Una vez finalizado el entrenamiento, se volvieron a medir los datos y se catalogaron para su análisis. Resultados El entrenamiento de la fuerza funcional puede mejorar eficazmente la calidad física y el rendimiento de base de los deportistas para mejorar su rendimiento competitivo. Conclusión En la actualidad, el entrenamiento de fuerza funcional desempeña un buen papel en la promoción de los equipos de fútbol universitario, por lo tanto, los entrenadores deberían proporcionar ejercicios de fuerza funcional a los equipos de fútbol universitario. ABSTRACT Introduction: The objective of this study is to investigate the possible impact of coronary artery disease (CAD) on clinical outcomes of catheter ablation in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Methods: Patients with AF who underwent coronary computed tomography and catheter ablation were enrolled. The presence of stenotic severity and plaque, characteristics of coronary arteries, clinical data, and adverse outcomes of catheter ablation were analysed. Results: A total of 243 patients were enrolled, 100 (41%) patients with CAD. The CHA2DS2-VASc (congestive heart failure, hypertension, age ≥ 75 years, diabetes mellitus, stroke or transient ischemic attack, vascular disease, age 65-74 years, and sex category) score of AF patients with CAD was significantly (P<0.001) higher than of those without CAD. Presence of stenotic artery and plaques increased significantly with increase of CHA2DS2-VASc score (P<0.05). There was no significant (P=0.342) difference in AF recurrence between patients with and without CAD (30% versus 24%). Age, AF type, duration of AF, heart failure, CHA2DS2-VASc score, left ventricular ejection fraction, and left atrial diameter were significantly (P<0.05) correlated with AF recurrence in univariant analysis. Multivariable analysis revealed that duration of AF (hazard ratio [HR] 1.769), heart failure (HR 1.821), and left atrial diameter (HR 1.487, P=0.022) remained significant independent predictors of AF recurrence. Patients with AF and concomitant CAD were significantly (P=0.030) associated with a worse outcome. Conclusion: CAD concomitant with AF may be associated with a worse clinical outcome even though CAD does not significantly affect the risk of AF recurrence after ablation therapy.

ABSTRACT Introduction: In training, fatigue and recovery are antagonistic factors. Physical rehabilitation of athletes and elimination of sports fatigue have gradually become essential factors in improving competitiveness. Muscle relaxation exercises can reduce badminton players' physical effort, allowing them to recover quickly. Objective: Analyze muscle relaxation's effect on fatigue relief until the normalization of physical strength in badminton players. Methods: Twelve badminton players were grouped in cross-sectional tests. During the three weeks of physical training, players performed two training methods: muscle relaxation and complete rest. Laboratory analysis encompassed blood biomarkers such as urea and creatine kinase. Data were collected before and after the interventions, confronted, and studied mathematically and statistically. Results: The proportions of leukocytes and lymphocytes in the muscle relaxation group after resistance exercise were lower than before. The decrease of morning leukocytes in the muscle relaxation group on the second day was less than in the resting group. The recovery effect of the lymphocyte ratio was also better. After special strength training, the value of creatine kinase was significantly higher than before exercise in both the muscle relaxation group and the complete rest group. Conclusion: Muscle relaxation can reduce exercise fatigue in badminton players. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment outcomes.

RESUMEN Introducción: En el entrenamiento, la fatiga y la recuperación son factores antagónicos. La rehabilitación física de los atletas y la eliminación de la fatiga deportiva se han convertido gradualmente en factores esenciales para mejorar la competitividad. El ejercicio de relajación muscular puede reducir el esfuerzo físico de los jugadores de bádminton, permitiendo que el jugador se recupere rápidamente. Objetivo: Analizar el efecto de la relajación muscular en el alivio de la fatiga hasta la normalización de la fuerza física en jugadores de bádminton. Métodos: Se agruparon doce jugadores de bádminton en pruebas transversales. Durante las tres semanas de entrenamiento físico, los jugadores realizaron dos métodos de entrenamiento: la relajación muscular y el descanso completo. Los análisis de laboratorio incluían biomarcadores sanguíneos como la urea y la creatina quinasa. Los datos se recogieron antes y después de las intervenciones, se confrontaron y se estudiaron matemática y estadísticamente. Resultados: Las proporciones de leucocitos y linfocitos en el grupo de relajación muscular tras el ejercicio de resistencia fueron menores que antes. La disminución de los leucocitos matinales en el grupo de relajación muscular en el segundo día fue menor que en el grupo de reposo, y el efecto de recuperación de la proporción de linfocitos también fue mejor. Después del entrenamiento especial de fuerza, el valor de la creatina quinasa fue significativamente mayor que antes del ejercicio tanto en el grupo de relajación muscular como en el de reposo completo. Conclusión: La relajación muscular puede reducir la fatiga del ejercicio en los jugadores de bádminton. RESUMO Introdução: No treinamento, fadiga e recuperação são fatores antagônicos. A reabilitação física dos atletas e a eliminação da fadiga esportiva tornaram-se gradualmente fatores essenciais para melhorar a competitividade. O exercício de relaxamento muscular pode reduzir o esforço físico dos jogadores de badminton, permitindo ao jogador recuperar-se rapidamente. Objetivo: Analisar o efeito do relaxamento muscular sobre o alívio da fadiga até a normalização da força física nos jogadores de badminton. Métodos: Foram agrupados 12 jogadores de badminton em testes transversais. Durante as três semanas de treinamento físico, os jogadores realizaram dois métodos de treinamento: relaxamento muscular e repouso completo. A análise laboratorial englobou biomarcadores sanguíneos, como ureia e creatina cinase. Os dados foram coletados antes e após as intervenções, confrontados e estudados de forma matemática e estatística. Resultados: As proporções de leucócitos e linfócitos no grupo de relaxamento muscular após o exercício de resistência foram menores do que antes. A diminuição dos leucócitos matinais no grupo de relaxamento muscular no segundo dia foi menor do que no grupo de repouso, e o efeito de recuperação da relação de linfócitos também foi melhor. Após o treinamento especial de força, o valor da creatina quinase foi significativamente maior do que antes do exercício tanto no grupo de relaxamento muscular quanto no grupo de repouso completo. Conclusão: O relaxamento muscular pode reduzir a fadiga do exercício nos jogadores de badminton. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos - investigação dos resultados do tratamento.

Abstract The objective of this work was to establish and validate the dry matter distribution and yield prediction models based on physiological developmental timing, to compare the differences between the dry mass distribution index model and the dry mass distribution coefficient model, for the simulation of ear dry mass and to improve the accuracy of maize growth models for predicting yield. The experiments were conducted in three tropical sites (Longchuan, Mangshi, and Ruili) in the tropical region of Yunnan Province, China. The NRMS of ear dry mass and yield were generally less than 10. The dry mass distribution index method (NRMS = 5.44% and RMSE = 807.22 kg ha-1 for ear dry mass; and NRMS = 7.32% and RMSE = 707.67 kg ha-1 for grain yield) is better than the dry mass distribution coefficient method (NRMS = 7.52% and RMSE = 1115.31 kg ha-1 for ear dry mass; NRMS = 8.6% and RMSE = 830.76 kgha-1 for grain yield) to simulate maize ear dry mass and grain yield. The distribution index model improves the accuracy of the model, which is valuable for future maize production and management in Yunnan.

Resumo O objetivo deste trabalho foi estabelecer e validar um modelo de previsão de distribuição de massa de matéria seca e de rendimento, com base no tempo de desenvolvimento fisiológico, para comparar as diferenças entre o modelo de índice de distribuição de matéria seca e o modelo de coeficiente de distribuição de matéria seca, para a simulação da massa de matéria seca da espiga e para melhorar a precisão de modelos de crescimento do milho para a previsão de rendimento. Os experimentos foram realizados em três locais (Longchuan, Mangshi e Ruili), na região tropical da província de Yunnan, China. O NRMS da massa de matéria seca e o rendimento da espiga foram geralmente menores que 10. O método do índice de distribuição da massa de matéria seca (NRMS = 5,44% e RMSE = 807,22 kg ha-1 para massa de matéria seca da espiga; e o NRMS = 7,32% e RMSE = 707,67 kg ha-1 para rendimento de grãos) é melhor do que o método do coeficiente de distribuição de massa de matéria seca (NRMS = 7,52% e RMSE = 1115,31 kg ha-1 para massa de matéria seca de espiga; NRMS = 8,6% e RMSE = 830,76 kg ha-1 para rendimento de grãos) para a simulação da massa de matéria seca de espiga e o rendimento de grãos de milho. O modelo do índice de distribuição melhora a precisão do modelo, o que é valioso para o futura produção de milho e seu manejo em Yunnan.

Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a major public health issue with limited treatment options. As the active ingredient of the n-butanol extract of Amygdalus mongolica (BUT), amygdalin inhibits PF. However, its mechanisms of action are unclear and need further verification. Therefore, the purpose of the present studies was to investigate the anti-fibrotic effects of BUT on PF by serum metabolomics and the transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) pathway. Sixty male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control, untreated PF, prednisone-treated (5 mg/kg), and BUT-treated (1.75, 1.25, 0.75 g/kg) groups, and the respective drugs were administered intragastrically for 21 days. The serum metabolomics profiles were determined by ultra-performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTOF/MS) and metabolism network analysis. The expression of TGF-β1, Smad-3, Smad-7, and α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) was measured using a real-time polymerase chain reaction in the lung tissue. BUT significantly alleviated fibrosis by reducing the mRNA expressions of TGF-β1 (from 1.73 to 1.13), Smad-3 (from 2.01 to 1.19), and α-SMA (from 2.14 to 1.19) and increasing that of Smad7 (from 0.17 to 0.62). Twenty-eight potential biomarkers associated with PF were identified. In addition, four key biomarkers were restored to baseline levels following BUT treatment, with the lowest dose showing optimal effect. Furthermore, A. mongolica BUT was found to improve PF by the pentose phosphate pathway and by taurine, hypotaurine, and arachidonic acid metabolism. These findings revealed the mechanism of A. mongolica BUT antifibrotic effects and metabolic activity in PF rats and provided the experimental basis for its clinical application.

SUMMARY: This study aimed to compare the clinical value of carotid ultrasound and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) for carotid artery stenosis in patients with cerebral infarction. Sixty patients with cerebral infarction underwent carotid ultrasound and DSA. Carotid artery stenosis, degree of stenosis (mild, moderate, severe, and occlusion), and carotid artery plaques were recorded and compared. Carotid stenosis rate was 96.67 % (58/60) and 91.67 % (55/60) on DSA and carotid ultrasound, respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant. Mild, moderate, and severe carotid artery stenosis and occlusion were diagnosed in 35, 28, 20, and 17 arteries, respectively, with DSA, and in 39, 25, 10, and 9 arteries, respectively, with carotid ultrasound. There was a statistically significant difference in the degree of carotid stenosis between the two methods (p<0.05). The kappa value of carotid plaques detected by carotid ultrasound and DSA was 0.776, indicating good consistency. Both carotid ultrasound and DSA are effective for screening carotid artery stenosis and carotid atherosclerotic plaques. While carotid ultrasound is faster and more convenient, DSA can more accurately detect the degree of stenosis and presence of occlusion. Thus, our recommendation is a combination of carotid ultrasound and DSA in clinical settings to improve the convenience and accuracy of diagnosis.

RESUMEN: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar el valor clínico de la ecografía carotídea y la angiografía por sustracción digital (DSA) para la estenosis de la arteria carótida en pacientes con infarto cerebral. Sesenta pacientes con infarto cerebral fueron sometidos a ecografía carotídea y DSA. Se registraron y compararon la estenosis de la arteria carótida, el grado de estenosis (leve, moderada, grave y oclusión) y las placas de la arteria carótida. La tasa de estenosis carotídea fue del 96,67 % (58/60) y del 91,67 % (55/60) en DSA y ecografía carotídea, respectivamente, y la diferencia no fue estadísticamente significativa. Se diagnosticaron estenosis y oclusión de la arteria carótida leve, moderada y grave en 35, 28, 20 y 17 arterias, respectivamente, con DSA, y en 39, 25, 10 y 9 arterias, respectivamente, con ecografía carotídea. Hubo una diferencia estadísticamente significativa en el grado de estenosis carotídea entre los dos métodos (p<0,05). El valor kappa de las placas carotídeas detectadas por ecografía carotídea y DSA fue de 0,776, lo que indica una buena consistencia. Tanto la ecografía carotídea como la DSA son eficaces para detectar la estenosis de la arteria carótida y las placas ateroscleróticas carotídeas. Si bien la ecografía carotídea es más rápida y conveniente, la DSA puede detectar con mayor precisión el grado de estenosis y la presencia de oclusión. Por lo tanto, nuestra recomendación es una combinación de ecografía carotídea y DSA en entornos clínicos para mejorar la conveniencia y precisión del diagnóstico.

SUMMARY: Myodural bridges (MDB) are anatomical connections between the suboccipital muscles and the cervical dura mater which pass through both the atlanto-occipital and the atlanto-axial interspaces in mammals. In our previous studies, we found that the MDB exists in seven terrestrial mammal species, two marine mammal species, two reptilian species, and one bird species. A recent study suggested that given the “ubiquity” of myodural bridges in terrestrial vertebrates, the MDB may also exist in snakes. Specifically, we focused on the Gloydius shedaoensis, a species of Agkistrodon (pit viper snake) that is only found on Shedao Island, which is in the southeastern sea of Dalian City in China. Six head and neck cadaveric specimens of Gloydius shedaoensis were examined. Three specimens were used for anatomical dissection and the remaining three cadaveric specimens were utilized for histological analysis. The present study confirmed the existence of the MDB in the Gloydius shedaoensis. The snake’s spinalis muscles originated from the posterior edge of the supraoccipital bones and the dorsal facet of the exocciput, and then extended on both sides of the spinous processes of the spine, merging with the semispinalis muscles. On the ventral aspect of this muscular complex, it gave off fibers of the MDB. These MDB fibers twisted around the posterior margin of the exocciput and then passed through the atlanto-occipital interspace, finally terminating on the dura mater. We observed that the MDB also existed in all of the snakes’ intervertebral joints. These same histological findings were also observed in the Gloydius brevicaudus, which was used as a control specimen for the Gloydius shedaoensis. In snakes the spinal canal is longer than that observed in most other animals. Considering the unique locomotive style of snakes, our findings contribute to support the hypothesis that the MDB could modulate cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pulsations.

RESUMEN: Los puentes miodurales (MDB) son conexiones anatómicas entre los músculos suboccipitales y la duramadre cervical que pasan a través de los espacios intermedios atlanto-occipital y atlanto-axial en los mamíferos. En nuestros estudios anteriores, encontramos que el MDB existe en siete especies de mamíferos terrestres, dos especies de mamíferos marinos, dos especies de reptiles y una especie de ave. Un estudio reciente sugirió que dada la "ubicuidad" de los puentes miodurales en los vertebrados terrestres, el MDB también puede existir en las serpientes. Específicamente, nos enfocamos en Gloydius shedaoensis, una especie de Agkistrodon (serpiente víbora) que solo se encuentra en la isla Shedao, en el mar sureste de la ciudad de Dalian en China. Se examinaron seis especímenes cadavéricos de cabeza y cuello de Gloydius shedaoensis. Se utilizaron tres especímenes para la disección anatómica y los tres especímenes cadavéricos restantes se utilizaron para el análisis histológico. El presente estudio confirmó la existencia del MDB en Gloydius shedaoensis. Los músculos espinosos de la serpiente se originaron en el margen posterior de los huesos supraoccipital y la cara dorsal del exoccipucio, y luego se extendieron a ambos lados de los procesos espinosas de la columna vertebral, fusionándose con los músculos semiespinosos. En la cara ventral de este complejo muscular se desprendían fibras del MDB. Estos mismos hallazgos histológicos también se observaron en Gloydius brevicaudus, que se utilizó como muestra de control para Gloydius shedaoensis. En las serpientes, el canal espinal es más largo que el observado en la mayoría de los otros animales. Teniendo en cuenta el estilo único locomotor de las serpientes, nuestros hallazgos contribuyen a respaldar la hipótesis de que el MDB podría modular las pulsaciones del líquido cerebroespinal.

Abstract Pristimerin (Pri) was a kind of extraction from natural plant, and it has anti- inflammation effects in previous studies, however, it has been unclear that Pri’s effect in renal fibrosis treatment. The purpose of this research was to evaluate pristimerin (Pri) treatment effects in renal fibrosis and relative mechanisms in vivo study. Using UUO and TGF-β1 to make renal fibrosis rats and HK-2 cell fibrosis model. Evaluating renal tissues pathological and fibrosis by HE and Masson staining; measuring Scr and BUN concentrations of serum, IL-1β, TNF-α, SOD and MDA concentrations by ELISA assay in serum and supernatant. Relative gene expressions were measured by RT-qPCR assay in renal tissues and cells and relative proteins expression by WB assay. Using Double luciferase assay to analysis correlation between miRNA-145-5p and TLR4. NF-κB(p65) nuclear volume were evaluated by cellular immunofluorescence. Scr, BUN, IL-1β, TNF-α and MDA concentrations were significantly increased and SOD concentration was significantly down-regulation (P < 0.001) in Model rats group; miRNA-145-5p gene expression was significantly depressed, TLR4, MyD88 and NF-κB(p65) gene expressions were significantly increased (P < 0.001, respectively); with Pri supplement, the renal pathological, masson region, Scr, BUN, IL-1β, TNF-α, SOD and MDA were significantly improved. In cell experiment, miRNA-145-5p play important role in Pri treatment of renal fibrosis by targeting TLR4. Pri could improve renal fibrosis by via regulation miRNA-145-5p to target TLR4.

ABSTRACT The often widespread and serious Root-Knot Nematode (RKN) disease is an important soil-borne disease affecting tobacco production. This study aimed to understand micro-ecological changes caused by RKN disease and interactions between disease and rhizosphere soil fungal communities. The 18S rRNA gene sequencing was used to study changes in rhizosphere fungal community of tobacco plants having RKN disease. In June 2018, a paired comparison was performed between rhizosphere fungal community structures of healthy tobacco plants and those with RKN disease in Yuxi and Jiuxiang, Yunnan Province, China. Compared with uninfested soil, the OTU abundance, Shannon, ACE and Chao1 indexes of infested soil in the two tobacco areas showed a decreasing trend. Principal Coordinate Analysis showed fungal communities of infested soil and uninfested soil in the two tobacco areas were clustered in different areas, and the community composition was significantly different. Moreover, the dominant fungi community and relative abundance are significantly different at phylum, genus and species levels. More beneficial fungi, such as Penicillium and Aspergillus, were found in soil samples of healthy plants, whereas more pathogenic fungi, such as Phoma and Alternaria, were found in soil samples of diseased plants. In conclusion, changes in fungal community structure and decreases in species diversity and richness were important characteristics of rhizosphere soils from diseased tobacco plants. Disequilibrium in the tobacco rhizosphere micro-ecosystem may allow the development of RKN disease and other more complex diseases.

SUMMARY: To establish an unprovable diagnostic indicative index reference for ultrasound examination of the fetal cerebral ventricles, based on the morphological characteristics throughout fetal nervous system development. Key ultrasonic morphological indicators of fetal ventricular development, which includes frontal horn width (FHW), occipital horn width (OHW), width of 3rd ventricle, cavity of septum pellucidum (CSP), width and length of 4th ventricle and thalamo-occipital distance (TOD) had been measured and analyzed collectively. All data of the indicators was collected on singleton pregnant woman between 16-39 weeks of gestational age (GA), between November 2017 and June 2021 at the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University. A total of 235 pregnant women were enrolled in the cross section study; another 36 pregnant women voluntarily joined a timeline-tracking follow-up study (cohort study) under the same examining criteria. A decrease of FHW and OHW of the lateral ventricles was observed as GA increased; while dimensional values of TOD, 3rd ventricle, CSP, as well as 4th ventricle increased with GA. Most of these indicators showed an enhanced variation tendency within a certain period of GA. Moreover, values of FHW and TOD showed asymmetry of the two hemispheres within the whole GA. Our findings revealed the morphological regularity of fetal ventricular development, which would instructively enhance the relative clinical ultrasound diagnosis; moreover, TOD also showed regularly changes as GA increased, suggesting that TOD should be considered as an additional routine ultrasonic indicator for fetal ventricular development.

RESUMEN: El objetivo del estudio fue establecer un índice de referencia indicativo diagnóstico no demostrable para el examen ecográfico de los ventrículos cerebrales fetales, basado en las características morfológicas a lo largo del desarrollo del sistema nervioso fetal. Indicadores morfológicos ultrasónicos clave del desarrollo ventricular fetal, que incluyen el ancho del cuerno frontal (FHW), el ancho del cuerno occipital (OHW), el ancho del tercer ventrículo, la cavidad del septo pelúcido (CSP), el ancho y el largo del cuarto ventrículo y la distancia tálamo-occipital (TOD) fueron medidos y analizados conjuntamente. Todos los datos de los indicadores se recopilaron en mujeres embarazadas de un solo feto entre 16 y 39 semanas de edad gestacional (EG), entre noviembre de 2017 y junio de 2021 en el Segundo Hospital de la Universidad Médica de Dalian. Un total de 235 mujeres embarazadas se inscribieron en el estudio transversal; otras 36 mujeres embarazadas se unieron voluntariamente a un estudio de seguimiento de línea de tiempo (estudio de cohorte) bajo los mismos criterios de examen. Se observó una disminución de FHW y OHW de los ventrículos laterales a medida que aumentaba la GA; mientras que los valores dimensionales de TOD, tercer ventrículo, CSP y cuarto ventrículo aumentaron con GA. La mayoría de estos indicadores mostraron una tendencia de variación mejorada dentro de un cierto período de GA. Además, los valores de FHW y TOD mostraron asimetría de los dos hemisferios dentro de toda la AG. Nuestros hallazgos revelaron la regularidad morfológica del desarrollo ventricular fetal, lo que mejoraría de manera instructiva el diagnóstico clínico de ultrasonido relativo; además, TOD también mostró cambios regulares a medida que aumentaba la GA, lo que sugiere que TOD debe considerarse como un indicador ultrasónico de rutina adicional para el desarrollo ventricular fetal.

SUMMARY: The aim of this study was to explore promoting effect of external applying Panax Notoginseng Saponins (PNS) on fractures. For this analysis 18 New Zealand male rabbits were divided into control group, splintage group and PNS group. All rabbits were performed left radius fractures and natural healing, splintage healing and splintage coated with PNS healing. 2 rabbits in each group were sacrificed on day 14, day 28 and day 42 after surgery, separately. Atomic force microscope scanning and nanoindentation tests were performed on the callus sections. The particle size and roughness in PNS group was both less than that in splintage group. The elastic modulus of callus in PNS group was consistent with normal bone tissue started from day 28 after surgery, two weeks earlier than that in splintage group. PNS could significantly reduce fracture healing time and increase strength of callus.

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar el efecto de la aplicación externa de Panax Notoginseng Saponins (PNS) en fracturas óseas. Se usaron 18 conejos machos de raza Nueva Zelanda divididos en grupos control, entablillado y PNS. Se realizaron fracturas del radio izquierdo y cicatrización natural en todos los animales, además de la cicatrización con entablillado y entablillado recubierto con PNS. Se sacrificaron, posterior a la cirugía, dos conejos de cada grupo los día 14, 28 y 42. Se realizaron pruebas de escaneo con microscopio de fuerza atómica y nanoindentación en las secciones de callos. El tamaño de la partícula y la rugosidad en el grupo de PNS fue menor que en el grupo entablillado. Abstract A series of mesoporous materials supported ionic liquids were prepared and tested as effective and practical catalysts for the synthesis of 2,4,5-triaryl-1H-imidazoles. The effects of type of catalysts, catalyst amount, and catalyst stability have also been investigated in detail, the catalyst Ti-SBA-15@ILTsO exhibited excellent activity in excellent yields of 92 % ~ 99 % with low catalyst amount at room temperature within 1 h. In addition, the supported ionic liquid can be easily recovered and reused for six times with satisfactory catalytic activity. Furthermore, a general synergetic catalytic mechanism for the reaction was proposed. Maybe this work employing Ti-SBA-15@ILTsO as highly efficient and stable catalyst for the synthesis of 2,4,5-triaryl-1H-imidazoles has potential commercial applications.

Resumen Se prepararon y probaron una serie de materiales mesoporosos soportados con líquidos iónicos como catalizadores eficaces y prácticos para la síntesis de 2,4,5-triaryl-1H-imidazoles. También se investigaron en detalle los efectos del tipo de catalizadores, la cantidad de catalizador y la estabilidad del catalizador. El catalizador Ti-SBA-15@ILTsO mostró una excelente actividad con rendimientos excelentes del 92 % ~ 99% con una baja cantidad de catalizador a temperatura ambiente en 1 h. Además, el líquido iónico soportado puede recuperarse fácilmente y reutilizarse durante seis veces con una actividad catalítica satisfactoria. Por otro lado, se propuso un mecanismo catalítico sinérgico general para la reacción. Este trabajo que emplea Ti-SBA-15@ILTsO como catalizador altamente eficiente y estable para la síntesis de 2,4,5-triaril-1H-imidazoles puede tener aplicaciones potencialmente comerciales.

Objetivo: desenvolver um programa de aprendizagem integrativa para pessoas com demência. Método: foi realizado um estudo metodológico com a técnica Delphi para desenvolver o programa de aprendizagem, seguido de um teste de viabilidade. Um grupo de especialistas foi convidado para desenvolver o programa de aprendizagem integrativa com base no framework da neuroplasticidade e da aprendizagem. Um teste de viabilidade foi realizado para avaliar a implementação do programa em dois centros após treinamento do pessoal que dirige o programa. Transcrições literais de conferências de casos foram codificadas, analisadas e agrupadas em temas e subtemas por consenso. Resultados: não houve indicação de modificação de conteúdo durante o período de implementação do programa. Qualitativamente, os idosos participantes apresentaram melhora nas comunicações, emoções, conexão consigo e com os outros e bem-estar. Conclusão: o programa de aprendizagem integrativa foi implementado sem intercorrências com resultados promissores. O programa está adequado para ser submetido a pesquisas em grande escala relacionadas com sua eficácia em vários centros a fim de obter evidências mais robustas.

Objective: to develop an integrative learning program for people with dementia. Method: a methodological study was conducted using Delphi technique to develop the learning program, followed by a feasibility test. An expert panel was invited to develop the integrative learning program based on the neuroplasticity and learning framework. A feasibility test was conducted to evaluate the implementation of the program in two centers after the training of personnel who run the program. Verbatim transcripts of case conferences were coded, analyzed, and collapsed into themes and sub-themes by consensus. Results: there was no indication for content modification during the period of program implementation. Qualitatively, the participating older adults showed improvement in communications, emotions, connectedness with self and others, and well-being. Conclusion: the integrative learning program was uneventfully implemented with promising results. The program is ready for full-scale research on its efficacy in multiple centers to obtain more robust evidence.

Objetivo: desarrollar un programa de aprendizaje integrador para personas con demencia. Método: se realizó un estudio metodológico empleando la técnica Delphi para desarrollar el programa de aprendizaje, seguida de una prueba de viabilidad. Se invitó a un panel de expertos a que desarrollara el programa de aprendizaje integrador sobre la base del marco de la neuroplasticidad y el aprendizaje. Se realizó una prueba de viabilidad para evaluar la implementación del programa en dos centros después de haber capacitado al personal que dirige el programa. Las transcripciones literales de los debates de casos se codificaron, analizaron y resumieron en temas y subtemas por medio de consenso. Resultados: no hubo ninguna indicación para modificar el contenido durante el período de implementación del programa. En forma cualitativa, los adultos mayores que participaron del programa evidenciaron mejoras en la comunicación, las emociones, la capacidad de conexión con ellos mismos y con los demás y el bienestar. Conclusión: el programa de aprendizaje integrador se implementó sin inconvenientes con resultados prometedores. El programa es apto para ser sometido a una investigación a gran escala con respecto a su eficacia en varios centros para obtener evidencia más sólida.

Abstract The mechanisms by which GnIH regulates the steroid synthesis pathway in duck granulosa cells remain poorly understood. In this study, we measured steroid hormone secretion by ELISA and reproduction-associated gene expression by quantitative real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) in duck granulosa cells treated with different concentrations of GnIH (0, 0.1, 1, 10, and 100 ng/mL) for 24 h. The genome-wide expression profiles of GnIH-treated cells (0 and 10 ng/mL) were evaluated by high-throughput RNA sequencing. Compared with untreated cells, the secretion of the steroid hormones E2, E1, P4, and T was downregulated, with that of E1 and P4 reaching statistical significance (P<0.05); in contrast, the secretion of ACV and INH was significantly upregulated (P<0.05) after treatment with 10 and 100 ng/mL GnIH. The expression of encoding steroidogenic proteins and enzymes genes (STAR, CYP11A1, CYP17A1, CYP19A1, and 3-β-HSD) and encoding gonadotropin receptors genes (FSHR, LHR) were significantly declined (P<0.05) in the 10 and 100 ng/mL GnIH treatments. Transcriptome sequencing identified 348 differentially expressed genes (DEGs), including 253 upregulated and 95 downregulated genes. The DEGs were mainly involved in cell growth and death, immune response, and steroid biosynthesis pathways. We identified four novel DEGs (MROH5, LOC113840576, SDR42E1, and LOC113841457) with key roles in the regulation of steroid hormone biosynthesis. Our study revealed changes in gonadal steroid hormone secretion and steroid biosynthesis pathway-related gene expression in duck granulosa cells under the inhibitory effect of GnIH. These data contribute to our understanding of the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying reproduction in ducks.
