RT-PCR assays were performed to confirm the differential expression of the PSME1 protein between CAG and normal (N) gastric mucosa. Amplification of PSME1 and of β2-MG acting as internal control was then carried out in a DNA thermal cycler. The bands were quantified by densitometry scanning.
