Open-access Genetic Parameters in Spineless Gerkin (Cucumis anguria)

    Nineteen half-sib of spineless gerkin progenies were evaluated for six agronomic characters and estimated the genetic parameters. High heritability values at means level were found for fruit number and yield. It was estimated that the selection of the 20% superior progenies will result in increases of 8,09% and 20,94% on yield and number fruit, respectively.
