Summary
Evapotranspiration rate from "Terra firme" Amazon Forest were evaluated by hydric balance method, in a standard basin. The total rainfall in the period were 2,089mm being 541mm drained by Tarumã-Açu igarapé by run-off and 534mm intercepted by forest canopy. The average of transpiration rate was 2,7mm/day, or 1,014mm in the period, 48,5% of hydric balance. The evapotranspiration rate was estimated in 4,1 mm/day.
