Open-access Additional contribution to the Taxonomy of the Brazilian species of Adenophaedra and Tetrorchidium (Euphorbiaceae)

Additional data are presented and discussed with regard to the taxonomy of the Brazilian species of Adenophaedra and Tetrorchidium . Both genera are poorly known and badly studied in Amazonia. Adenophaedra is represented in Brazil by three species: A. grandifolia, A.megalophylla and A. cearensis, the latter is proposed here as a new species. Tetrorchidium is represented by T. rubrivenium, T. parvulum, T. macrophyllum and T. duckei. Illustrations and keys to identify the genera and species, as well a map, are given as a contribution to a taxonomic review of these taxa.
