Resumos

No presente trabalho foram reconhecidas cinco variedades para Mecardonia procumbens (Mill.) Small (Scrophulariaceae), sendo que novas combinações são propostas. Além disso, três espécies anteriormente referidas para o Brasil foram incluídas na sinonímia destas variedades, o que faz com que no Brasil passe a ser considerada a existência de apenas quatro espécies de Mecardonia: M. pubescens Rossow, M. serpylloides (Cham. & Schltdl.) Pennell, M. grandiflora (Benth.) Pennell e M. procumbens (Mill.) Small. Neste trabalho são fornecidas chave de identificação para as variedades e lista com as sinonímias das mesmas.

No presente trabalho foram reconhecidas cinco variedades para Mecardonia procumbens (Mill.) Small (Scrophulariaceae), sendo que novas combinações são propostas. ABSTRACT

Five varieties of Mecardonia procumbens (Mill.) Small (Scrophulariaceae) are recognized in this work and new combinations are proposed.
