The present work is a continuation of the study about medicinal herbs occurring in the State of Alagoas, whose main objective is to send them after a previous study to the laboratories of natural products where their active principles and others for will be determined and after used in the production of medicaments. The species were collected in several municipalities in the State of Alagoas and after prepared and identified they were incorporated to the Herbarium "Professor Honório Monteiro" (MUFAL) of the Federal University of Alagoas. The study of those medicinal species comprehends: scientific names, families, common names brief description of each species and medicinal use. Twenty species were studied.
