The genus Phyllanthus L. (Euphorbiaceae) in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, BrazilThis paper presents a taxonomic treatment of the species of Phyllanthus L. from Chapada Diamantina, Bahia. Eleven species are recognized: P. amarus Schumach. & Thonn., P. angustissimus Müll. Arg., P. claussenii Müll. Arg., P. flagelliformis Müll. Arg., P. heteradenius Müll. Arg., P. klotzschianus Müll. Arg., P. niruri L., P. orbiculatus Rich., P. scoparius Müll. Arg., P. spartioides Pax & K. Hoffm. and Phyllanthus sp. A key to the species, as well descriptions and illustrations are provided for each one of them.
