The present work reports an outbreak of intoxication by aflatoxin B1 in 150 adult bovine male, males from a herd of 1774 animals, in confinement system, fed on commercial citrus pellet. All animals were evaluated clinicaly, and ones that died were necropsied and tissues submitted to histopathotology. The intoxication was confirmed by aflatoxin B1 presence in samples of the citrus pellet and in fragments of liver of the animals which died.
