Progressive subretinal fibrosis and optic neuritis - description of case

RESUMO

Descrevemos um caso raro de fibrose sub-retiniana progressiva subsequente à coroidite multifocal, associado a uma severa e dramática neurite óptica resistente à prednisona, à droga citotóxica e finalmente à ciclosporina. A literatura foi revista e discutida.

SUMMARY

The author describe a rare case of progressive subretinal fibrosis following multifocal choroiditis, associated with severe optic neuritis resistant to prednisone, cytotoxic agent and cyclosporin. The literature was reviewed and discussed.
