Suspensão superciliar por fios: técnica sem descolamentos e com incisões mínimas

RESUMO

O correto posicionamento dos supercílios exerce grande influência sobre as pálpebras superiores, seja em relação ao excesso cutâneo, seja com relação ao conjunto estético órbito-palpebral. Com a necessidade de associarmais freqüentemente o tratamento de ambos, foi desenvolvida uma alternativa para elevação dos supercílios. Por meio de incisões mínimas no couro cabeludo e na margem superior do supercilio é realizada uma ancoragem e tração com fios não-absorvíveis. Não há descolamentos na região frontal, exceto no traj eto do fio, que é subgálico. Com a idealização da técnica, decidiu-se realizar um trabalho científico no qual os autores selecionaram 10 pacientes, que foram submetidos a esta técnica e avaliados posteriormente a curto, médio e longo prazo. Houveboa aceitação da cirurgia por parte dos pacientes. Como resultados, apresentaram 4 pacientes considerados bons, 3 regulares e 3 insuficientes. Este procedimento mostrou-se uma alternativa válida comparado com as vantagens e desvantagens obtidas por outras técnicas.

SUMMARY

Correct positioning of the eyebrows is important for the upper eyelids, both in terms of excess skin as well as the overall esthetics of the lid/orbit region. Because of the ever increasing need of treating both eyelids and eyebrows, an alternative technique for browlifting was developed. By way of minimal incisions in the scalp and superior margins of the eyebrow, an anchor is made and traction exerted with nonabsorbable thread without undermining of the frontal region. Applying this technique to a scientific study, we selecte 1 O patients which were evaluated after short, medium and long periods. The minimum follow-up was 15 months, the maximum 25 months. In this period the elevation of the lift remained at acceptable levels in many patients, while in a few it dropped more. As a result, this procedure was well-accepted by the patients and we had 4 patients with good, 3 with regular and 3 with poor results. We deem this to be a good alternative to the treatment of browptosis.
