Intermediate uveitis and presumed autoimmune corneal endotheliopathy - a case description

RESUMO

Apresentamos um caso de uveíte intermediária (pars planite) bilateral associada a uma endoteliopatia corneana similar à linha de rejeição endotelial observada nos alo-transplantes.

Os possíveis mecanismos auto-imunes envolvidos foram revistos e discutidos.

SUMMARY

A case of bilateral intermediate uveitis (pars planitis) associated to a corneal endotheliopathy similar to the endothelial rejection line observed in allografts.

The possible autoimmune mechanisms were reviewed and discussed.
