SUMMARY
The authors evaluated the responses of rabbit corneas to three types of superficial trauma: chemical deepitheliazation, epithelial scraping and the association of both.
Chemical deepitheliazation produced different and smaller inicial area denuded of epithelium than other methods (the inicial area between them was compared). The different experiments have not influenced the velocity of corneal epithelium regeneration.
