The present paper deals with the ocurrency of domatias in 14 differents species, distributed among 8 families of Angiospermae. The domatia were generally situated in the base of the nervure of 1rst and 2nd order, in trees or shrubs, climbing plants and in strong climbing plants. The catalogued domatia types are distributed among the families as fallows: a) Domatia in "aglomerate hairs" - found in plants of the following families: Bignoniaceae, Compositae, Convolvulaceae, Leguminosae, Moraceae, Solanaceae, Proteaceae e Oleaceae. b) Domatia in "purses" - found in the familie Solanaceae.
