Abstract
In João Cabral de Melo Neto’s active correspondence, it was found 31 letters addressed to the Portuguese poet Alberto de Serpa. The largest and most interesting part of this epistolary was written between the years of 1949 and 1950, when the two poets were involved in a common project of organizing the poetry magazine O Cavalo de Todas as Cores, main theme of the correspondence. This article, which links to the project Edição Comentada das Cartas de João Cabral de Melo Neto a Alberto de Serpa & Estudos Críticos, rescues and partially comments on this epistolary, looking to reconstruct the planning of the magazine.
