A case of a 45-years-old male with an intracranial mass is reported. The neoplasic mass occupied the fronto-basal region. At the surgery an intracerebral tumor that infiltrated the meninges was ressected. The histopathological diagnosis was of carcinoma arising in an epidermoid cyst. The authors viewed the literature and found only 13 cases published that described a malignization such epidermoid cyst, and only two in the frontal region.
