Resumos

São apresentados 16 casos de coréia de Huntington estudados do ponto de vista neuropsiquiátrico, hereditário e terapêutico. No aspecto clínico foi enfatizado o diagnóstico diferencial. Os achados da presente casuística foram comparados aos de literatura.

The neuropsychiatric aspects and both hereditary and therapeutic study from 16 patients with Huntington's chorea are presented. The differential diagnosis from a clinical approach has been emphasized. The results of this research and those of the literature were compared.

RESUMO

São apresentados 16 casos de coréia de Huntington estudados do ponto de vista neuropsiquiátrico, hereditário e terapêutico. No aspecto clínico foi enfatizado o diagnóstico diferencial. Os achados da presente casuística foram comparados aos de literatura.

SUMMARY

The neuropsychiatric aspects and both hereditary and therapeutic study from 16 patients with Huntington's chorea are presented. The differential diagnosis from a clinical approach has been emphasized. The results of this research and those of the literature were compared.
