The A. reports the case of a man, forty years old, who had Congenital Brevicollis. At this age it manifests itself tetraparesy, flaccid in the superior limbs and spastic in the inferior ones. Ascending myelography with Lipiodol reveals blockage at the seventh thoracic vertebra. Death by bulbar accident. The A. suggests the coexistence of Brevicollis and intravertebral tumor, concomitance not yet described among the nervous syndromes associated with Klippel-Feil's. He studies the morphogenesis of vertebral column in order to demonstrate that the synostosis of vertebrae processes itself in a very early period of developement of the column. He tries to affiliate Congenital Brevicollis to the group of troubles in the morphogenesis of nervous system (encephalo-myelodysplasias).
