Resumos

Foi realizado estudo comparativo clínico-radiológico entre um grupo de pacientes com torcicolo espasmódico e outro de pacientes com síndrome parkinsoniana de etiologia desconhecida ou tremor essencial, visando ao esclarecimento da etiologia do torcicolo. Os resultados mostraram que tanto os achados de radiologia simples quanto aqueles obtidos pela pneumencefalografia não têm valor para o esclarecimento da etiologia do torcicolo.

The comparative clinic-radiological study between 45 patients with spasmodic torticollis and the same amount of patients with either essential Parkinsonism or tremor is reported. The study was based mainly on the alterations verified by plain roentgenograms and pneumoencephalography. The comparison between the findings obtained on both groups led the authors to conclude that neuroradiological aspects have statistically no value in clarifying the etiology of the spasmodic torticollis.

Eine vergleichende klinisch-röntgenologische Beurteilung von 45 Patienten mit Torticollis Spasmodicus und die gleiche Zahl von Patienten mit Parkinson-syndrome wurde durchgeführt. Die Anamnese, klinische Diagnose und röntgenographische Befunde wurden analisiert mit der Absicht die Ätiologie des Torticollis zuklären. Die Resultate zeigen dass weder die Leeraufnahmebefunde noch die pneumoencephalographische Aspekte kein Wert für die Aufklärung der Ätiologie des Torticollis Spasmodicus besitzen.

RESUMO

Foi realizado estudo comparativo clínico-radiológico entre um grupo de pacientes com torcicolo espasmódico e outro de pacientes com síndrome parkinsoniana de etiologia desconhecida ou tremor essencial, visando ao esclarecimento da etiologia do torcicolo. SUMMARY

The comparative clinic-radiological study between 45 patients with spasmodic torticollis and the same amount of patients with either essential Parkinsonism or tremor is reported. The study was based mainly on the alterations verified by plain roentgenograms and pneumoencephalography. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Eine vergleichende klinisch-röntgenologische Beurteilung von 45 Patienten mit Torticollis Spasmodicus und die gleiche Zahl von Patienten mit Parkinson-syndrome wurde durchgeführt.
