Pedagogy of the competences - a reference to the paradigmatic transition in the nursing teaching: a literature review

In times of deep changes in the education field, the proposition of this study is to contribute to the reflection on the nursing teaching process by approaching one of the present-day pedagogical branches based on the constructivism: the pedagogy of the competences. Thus, it was done a bibliographic study using the references of contemporaneous experts who defend the constitution of competences to teach, according to what was discussed by educators in the "3º International Education Seminar". It describes the changes of paradigms between the traditional education and its overcome, it defines and presents the competences to teach and it points out the proposition to work with projects to achieve the constitution of competences.
