ABSTRACT
The article discusses works of art for children in museums, understood as informational devices that should extract information from their collections in order to generate knowledge for different audiences. From the cartoonist Mauricio de Souza's initiative in transforming his comic book characters into works of art for museum spaces, and based on Wallon's perspective on child development, we discuss the inclusion of children in art museums and the possibilities of developing educational activities able to include this specific audience.
