The responses of soybeans to sulfur, zinc, copper, boron, manganese, iron and molybdenum were tested in an area of latosol soil previously covered with "cerrado" vegetation. Sulfur increased considerably the seed yield, but no significant effects of the indicated micro-nutrients were observed.
