SUMMARY
The aim of this work was to make a general studye, through aerial vertical photographs, about citrus crops in the county of Limeira. The usual methods of evaluation were not enough for concluding results. A variation of a known process has been statistically studied. In this previous note a preliminary report is presented. Square crops were evaluated as 11,020 ha, 19% of the total area of the county, with 3,641,000 citrus trees, and contour crops were found to be on 2,300 ha, 4% of the total area studied with 639,000 citrus trees.
