Foliar aplication of sulfur on soybean[Glycine max (L.) Merrill] crop

The objective of this work was to evaluate doses of foliar sulfur application on the accumulation of nutrients in the plant and on the productivity of the soybean crop. The experiment consisted of seven treatments using the product S300 (S=26%, density =1,16) with doses 1,0; 2,0 and 3,0 l./ha-1 and S800 (S=56%, density =1,43) with doses 0,5; 1,0 and 1,5 l./ha-1 , and a control, with all of the applications being carried out in R3 stage. The plots consisted of 4 rows with 5,0m in length, spaced at 0,50m, utilizing the two central rows. The productivity of the grains was altered significantly by the application of sulfur for treatments S300 2,0 and 3,0 l.ha-1 and S800 1,0 and 1,5 l.ha-1 that yielded 2641, 2636, 2621, and 2549 kg/.ha-1. With respect to nutrients, it was confirmed that the content of Calcium and Sulfur in the plants was high with the foliar application of sulfur.
