School atlases municipal: teachers and fashions

Taking into account the current curricular context and the conception of the teaching work according to the technical rationality that characterizes the educational reforms of our neo-liberal society, this paper approaches the growth of research and production of Municipal School Atlases and the researcher-teacher relationship. Analyzing the works presented on the theme School Atlases in five scientific events on "cartography for children" held in Brazil, we observe that most of these materials are produced by researchers and specialists who do not belong to the teacher work sphere.
