PLATFORMS, HEGEMONY OF NEOLIBERAL NORMS AND RECONFIGURATION OF STRUGGLES FOR SOCIAL REAPPROPRIATION

This paper shows how the ‘platform’ is a step in the constructivist project of contemporary capitalism, whilst recalling its entry in the history of precarious work and labor flexibilization, addressing two aspects of their functioning: how platforms continue the process of worker subjugation to demand; and how they expand this subsumption project via the commercial colonization of vernacular spheres or those based on reciprocity. Finally, the article questions the struggles for reappropriating data or support and for alternative productive or creative forms of socialization to the neoliberal constructivist model.
