Brazil is a large potential producer of ceramic materials because of the large number of clay deposits. These clays are very important to the production of porcelains, sanitaryware, bricks roof tiles and floor and wall tiles. The State of Paraíba, Brazil, has several areas where an intense activity in ceramic industry can be observed. The researchers have dedicated a great effort for characterizing and evaluating the potential uses of these clays. These works allowed for a mapping of the deposits of the already studied clays. The aim of this work is to complement the mapping of these clay deposits already studied in the State of Paraiba that can be used in the ceramic industry. The performed work is not sufficient for evaluating the whole State and the majority of the work is concentrated in the more dense areas of the State; some basins were not studied properly.
