Organizational intelligence: an integrated framework

The purpose of this work is to describe the factors that make possible to develop the intelligence in the organizations. Initially, the knowledge management subject is approached, where they are defined tacit, explicit, and cultural knowledge. Also, it is discussed some aspects of the activities that look for to develop and to control every organizational knowledge types, focusing use them in the attainment of organizational objectives. Then, the organizational knowledge should be directed to potentiate the organizational learning, where the action theory presents the single-loop and second-loop learning. In the environmental scanning conceptualization it was included the definition, the modes and some principles of best practices. Finally, it is presented some considerations about organizational intelligence. It is defined organizational intelligence and it is distinguished it under two mutually dependent view point: as a process (dynamic) and as a product (static). It is concluded that the organizational intelligence development must be essential to cope with environmental challenges.
