The collective scientific knowledge production on the DNA structure

In this article the epistemology of Ludwik Fleck is used in the interpretation of works on the evolution of the scientific knowledge leading to the proposition of the double helix model for the molecule of DNA and its acceptance by the scientific community. Understanding the role of collectives of thought and styles of thought involved in this process allows the exploitation of a more adequate vision of the production of scientific knowledge, contributing to the improvement of science teachers' scientific education.
